Reign On: Exploring the Everlasting Kingdom of Jesus
Hey everyone, and welcome back to For Life and Legacy! Today we're diving into a topic that's pretty epic: the everlasting kingdom of Jesus Christ. Buckle up, because the Bible throws down some seriously powerful imagery about what that means for us.
First, let's crack open Isaiah 9:6. This verse is like a royal announcement: "For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." This prophecy describes Jesus not just as a savior, but as a king – a king with a government that will last forever!
Then, in Daniel 2:35, we get this incredible picture: "The stone that struck the image became a great mountain and filled the whole earth." This stone, crushing all earthly empires, represents the everlasting kingdom of God established by Jesus. Talk about a power move!
Now, some folks might wonder if this kingdom is just pie in the sky. But hold on, 2 Samuel 7:12-13 gives us a promise from God himself: "And when your days are fulfilled and you lie down with your fathers, I will raise up your offspring after you, who shall come from your body, and I will establish his kingdom. He shall build a house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom forever." This promise, made to King David, extends to Jesus, his descendant. His kingdom is guaranteed by God, and it will have no end.
So, what does this mean for us? As followers of Christ, we become citizens of this everlasting kingdom. It's not a kingdom ruled by force, but by love, justice, and peace. It's a hope that transcends the temporary troubles of this world.
This is just a taste of the amazing things the Bible tells us about Jesus' everlasting kingdom. We'll definitely have to explore this more in future episodes. But for now, let this sink in: Jesus is the King, and his reign is forever!

To align our will with that which GOD has ordained is to embark on a journey of courage, for it demands the fortitude to confront our own limitations and surrender to our higher call. True courage is found not only in grand gestures but also in the quiet moments of surrender, where we relinquish control and allow the will of God to shape our path. It is through this courageous alignment that we discover the boundless strength and grace that accompany a life lived in harmony with HIS divine plan.

Fear is certainly not your friend and Faith is certainly not your estranged enemy. Trust is the game changer. It moves one from believing to receiving. It is in the knowing that the fire is hot but it doesn't matter when your Heavenly Father has the visit to Nebuchadnezzar 's tanning salon (AKA the fiery furnace). Or if you, like Daniel, have a dinner appointment with hungry animals who will also join you for a for a secluded overnight stay.

Knowing that you have authorization to be in a place is important. Walking in that authority fosters confidence and allows your mind and heart to function at the level required to create greatness. We must keep in mind that authority exist because someone who had the power to create it had a greater intent for those who would experience the benefits of authority. Intent therefore, is of equal or even greater importance than authority and purpose is revealed when authority is executed.

Finding Your Place before your purpose is revealed is often the road we travel. You must make sure you are in the right place if you are to sustain the heat that comes with working in your purpose. The right place can determine not only what kind of success you experience but how long and how influential you are to the next generation.

Good company can bring out the best in people and can lead to lasting relationships. It can encourage people to be more creative and productive, and to achieve their goals. Good company can make people feel more comfortable and secure, and can help them to develop positive self-esteem and confidence. Good company can inspire new ideas and help people to see the world in a different way. It can also provide support during difficult times and help people to better understand themselves and others.
