- Renew your mind with God’s Word: James’ Epistle talks about the importance of having endurance through trials, and the lack of trust that can put his plans at risk. We declare that we know that our plans don't always work out, but when we turn them over to the Lord, they're always in our best interest. We pray for peace, health, and happiness in all that we do. What can happen when our plans don't go as planned? Well, usually it falls apart. But that's okay, because God has good plans for us. Even when the plans don't look like they're going to work out, we have to remember that God knows what we need and he will never let us down.
Listen along as Denise and Cheryl share their plans and how they did or didn’t work out and how trusting the Lord with their plans is definitely the way to go! Although their lives are not what they had imagined they would be, they would not change it for the world! The Lord's plans ARE perfect!

But the Lord directs his steps.

In this episode, Denise and Cheryl begin by sharing how much mercy and grace the Lord has shown them both during their addiction and now in recovery. Then they go through the four women in Jesus's Genealogy: Tamar, Rahab, Ruth, and Bathsheba. As they explain each of these women they share the tremendous amount of mercy they were given for the sins they had committed which if you are not familiar with these women, range from prostitution to incest to infidelity. I am sure there are even more sins that were not mentioned. Each of these women were given mercy and grace so that Jesus could one day be born and become our Saviour! What an amazing story!
