GuestDr Rana McKay is associate professor at UC San Diego, Health School of Medicine and is a board-certified medical oncologist. She specializes in treating urogenital cancers and leads a multidisciplinary prostate cancer clinic for men who have aggressive prostate cancer. She has been a principal investigator for several clinical trials and has published numerous articles in leading peer-reviewed journals, such as Nature, Lancet, Journal of Clinical Oncology, and others. Her research focus includes novel biomarkers and therapeutic outcomes for patients who have genitourinary cancer.
