In life, we all have plans and goals that we strive to achieve. However, sometimes our world changes and God's answer doesn't match the plans we have. In this episode, Mrs. Amy discusses "When God's Why Doesn't Fit Into Our Plans". Mary, as a young girl, had plans and dreams for her life. But, when she was told she was going to carry the Messiah, God's why changed her world forever. How would we react if we were faced with God's why and it changed the course of our plans? Would we be angry with God because of the hardships that were to come, or like Mary, would we submit and carry out God's greater plan for our life?

As humans, we love the normalcy of our comfort zones. We like the security and comfort it brings us. But what do we do when our world is turned upside down and that normalcy we long for is gone? Today, Mrs. Amy is discussing "When Normal is Nowhere to be Found." In this episode, she shows how Mary's world was turned upside down and changed forever. Mary's world would never return to the normalcy she once knew. However, Mary trusted in God throughout the changes that she faced and remained faithful to the Lord.

When making tea, you don't know what's inside the tea bag until it's submerged in hot water. Just like tea, what we are truly filled with doesn't come out until we are faced with hard times. Today, Mrs. Amy is discussing "Is Jesus Seen in your Hard Times?" When struggles come, does anger, fear, or worry come out, or is Jesus seen through you?

Have you heard the story about the grandpa who was asleep in his recliner, and his grandchildren put some stinky cheese on his lip? He woke up and walked around the house saying, "the living room stinks, the kitchen stinks, the bedroom stinks,  why does the whole house stink." His grandchildren looked up at him and said, "no, grandpa, the house doesn't stink; you stink." Today, Mrs. Amy will discuss how when we keep our decomposing skeletons of sin, regrets, or bitterness hidden and don't give them a proper burial, it can give us a twisted perspective on life. We may seem like life stinks, but in reality, it's us that stinks because we keep things hidden and don't give them proper burials.

Have you ever heard the saying, "and that was only the beginning?". Not only did Mary bear the pressure of carrying the Messiah as a young teenager, she then had to go home and face judgment and accusations from her friends, family, and Joseph.  Sometimes it seems like life goes from bad to worse, and we wonder how we're going to make it through. Today Mrs. Amy will discuss how even when our situation goes from hard to harder, we can trust God to walk with us every step of the way and reveal his purpose and plan to us in due time.
