Praying for healing is not always easy. The more you practice praying for healing and the more fruit you see the more difficult it becomes when you pray for people and they aren't healed. This can make you want to throw in the towel if you are not prepared. Believers are constantly in the tension of the already and the not yet. Wade teaches how to avoid trying to live life either overly triumphant with no problems or in constant defeat and suffering with no victory. Throughout Jesus' ministry he went about proclaiming that the Kingdom of God was at hand. This proclamation went hand and hand with his demonstration of the kingdom by forgiving sin, showing extravagant love, healing the sick, and casting out demons. As followers of Jesus we get to announce the nearness of his kingdom to others as the King himself works in and through our lives.
