It's March (Women's month) and I'm looking into what makes a woman a woman. Is there a biblical template we can follow to help us figure out what our role is? And could this give us more confidence in our identity so that we operate from strength rather than fight/flight?
Give it a listen, and let me know your thoughts!
This is a poem with a little commentary for context. I hope you are able to connect with it.
Chatting with Teeto Ceemos about his journey as a rapper in Nigeria was really enlightening and inspiring. One thing I took away from it is that many people struggle to figure out what their "purpose" is... we assume that the path is easy or easier when we finally find out - but there are still challenges and obstacles on the journey to success, even when we are perfectly clear on what the goal is.
A vulnerable and practical conversation about what it's like to live with Sickle Cell in 2023. Many thanks to Simisola Kusamotu for being so open and sharing her story. (The episode is also going up on her birthday, so Happy Birthday, Simi!) Watch on YouTube here.
Knowing how the world began and how the story ends, gives us a hopeful perspective of the times inbetween. In this episode, I share my thoughts on the stories we've heard about faith and God and the law. I think we'll find that God isn't really angry with us at all, actually. And I hope it encourages you to start the year with confidence about how the whole entire story will end - eventually.

This episode is a response to a comment on my YouTube channel, titled, "Stop following the church's dating rules!". It was a conversation between me and Tolu Falode, a Christian relationship counsellor about the different ways in which God directs us toward the right partner for us - ways that include sexual attraction. Please listen and let me know what you think. You can check out the YouTube episode on https://youtube.com/@heyOmotayo
If you're a person of faith who's been wondering why you're still single, this episode will shed some light on the unseen little things that could be skewing our perspectives when it comes to dating and marriage. In this episode, I use an amazing interview between Sharon of "The Journal" and Muyiwa & Oghale (OG) of "Before Marriage 21" as a jump-off point to discuss my previous dating mishaps, and I hope our shared experiences encourage you to trust God with your dating process.
