Today we're going to build on the groundwork we laid in the previous episode (How Homesteading Changed Our Views on Children and Family Life) and talk about what it looks like to become an asset to your family. I'll lay out 3 practical steps you can take to grow as an asset within your own household, and offer a few ideas of how to equip your family to be an asset within the community through building shared family culture.
These thoughts are by no means the definitive guide, nor are they the only way to be an asset in your realm, this is just a jumping off point for you as you consider the possibilities within your own family and community context.
