This was one of those battles I just had to record, and I wish i could have captured my face while watching it!
I was yelling, and getting excited before I even saw the other team, because I knew I had an amazing combo of cards for this rule set.
I knew being Equal Health, plus Opportunity rules, that everyone usually ends up just attacking the front monster, sunce they usually ended up injured first.
So naturually I put my most defensive monster up front, with the added bonus of Scavenge to keep his health replenishing as the rounds go on.
Unfortuntaly I was expecting more Sneak attacks, so I placed my Naga Assassin in the rear, so her Backlash, and 1 range damage really didn't help me much.
When I realized this, I actually thought I was going to loose this match when I saw the other team.
Luckily the Chaos Dragon caused some of the back row enemy monsters to become weakend, which was when Opportunity allowed me to start taking out some of the key players on the otherside.
By the end of round 4 I began to have hope that I might actually win, and by the end of round 5 it was clear!

Hey all, Captain Daryl here.
I just had a rough few days riding out a crazy storm in BC, but today was nice so I sat down at a coffee shop to catch up on all things SkateHive! Decided to bring a hard drive with me since I finally found the right cable while cleaning the boat due to having nothing else to do on the boat. Turns out it was the hard drive with most of the footage from Vlad on it! Figured I'd start going through the footage and collecting clips for the eventual edit I plan to make, but figured I'd drop a teaser here for everyone as a remember I still got big plans for SkateHive sooon!

This is my entry into the Philanthro-Bee Community Edit, being made by @stickchumpion. This is a clip from some of the filming I have been doing on my trip to meet @xvlad in BC Canada, where we've been skating around, and seeing the local skate spots. We've been recently staying in Victoria BC, on Vancouver island, with an old friend of Vlad's, and new SkateHive member @philnick! He's been kind enough to host us for a full week now, while showing us great spots, and cooking somoe amazing food!

My first attempt at making a little promotional skit to promote SkateHive. This was first played on screen at the 10th annual I ❤️ XV event held in downtown Rio De Janerio, where they celebrate the legalization of skating in the downtown XV Square!

For those that don't know, I live in a very flat place in Canada. So I have to find my joy, in the tiny runs we have around our local creek. This run is down the start of a small hiking trial, but then I take a turn to go down a steep embankment towards the still unfrozen creek.
Board I'm riding is a Landyatchz Snow deck, and the Mackenski powder blade!

Of course for those that know, Winnipeg is pretty flat! So we have to find every little bit of elevation, to practice our downhill skills. This is one of the rare paths that is actually challenging here, and honestly is challenging for even people used to real hills! We honestly don't take our new skaters here, because it's too dangerous with the large limestone blocks along much of the path.
