In today's message we will see how to obtain faith, how faith can literally save your life, and how to not doubt or stagger at the promises of God. But instead claim these promises for yourself and your loved ones!!
We CAN control our thoughts, we do not have to let Satan plant thought in our minds, we can renew our minds so that we can think like Christ. We can know how to stop thinking wrong thoughts!!
We see good news and bad news in these days we live in but our God that is greater than anyone can make sure that you and I along with God by our side are the majority, many times the Lord used one man to make the difference and He can use you to make a difference in your part of the world today!!
We know that God has not given us a spirit of fear according to his word, so where does fear come from, what problems can fear cause in our lives,and what are some of the ways we can remedy fear and get rid of it?
We are not to be blown about by every wind of doctrine! Stand Fast! Contend for the Faith! Do not be deceived!
So who started this good work in you? Way are we not consumed when we make a mistake or several mistake's? Does God allow pain in our life to keep us from greater failure?Is Peter a great example of God's restoration power? We will look at all these questions and more in todays message!!
Just as you need to prepare for physical storms before they show up on your door step, so you need to prepare for spiritual storms in advance and believe you me, there is a spiritual storm brewing in the world today, "Good vs. Evil" and you need to be prepared. Scriptures gives us some instructions on how to prepare before the storm arrives!! You NEED to hear this message if you want to survive what is coming on the world in preperation for the last of the last days!!! We will look at how to prepare, how to make right choices, how we should not be double minded, how to obtain wisdom for hard decisions and yes and most importantly how we can avoid discouragement!!!
A place of refuge, a place of safety, where no evil shall befall us is there such a place? Would you like to know how you can dwell in such a place. Well we will see in the message this morning that there is indeed such a place and the instructions on the way to not only find this place but obtain it for our own are layed out for us in Psalm 91. We will be talking about how to fight the enemy of our souls and actually win the battle. What did Jesus come to do? Just because we are being tempted to sin that DOES NOT mean we have sinned!! How are God's people destroyed? What are the secrets that Satan DOES NOT want you to know? Do we really have authority over Satan? How do we take our place of authority over Satan? God looks at the heart and the motive to determine if we are doing things for him or to promote ourselves! David was a man after God's own heart, where is you heart today? Why didn't David search his own heart, but rather ask God to search his heart? The reason for this is because David knew something we need to know, our hearts are deceitful and wicked and we can not trust ourselves to search our own hearts. Our hearts deceive us!! We have to check our hearts location often and TURN OUR HEARTS BACK TO OUR FIRST LOVE!!
We will see that God is in control of all his children (born again believers), Gos is in control of our calling and our purpose here on earth, God is in control of the heathen (wicked) people, God is totally in control of whom is promoted and whom is not promoted in ALL walks of life including Kings and Government leaders. He is even in control of Satan, Satan had to ask God for permission before he could touch Job and has not lost any of his power, neither will he lose any of his power for eternity!!
We will be looking at the questions, What does the Bible say about the mark of the beast? What will the outcome be for you if you accept (take) the mark of the beast?What does the Bible tell us we should expect in the coming days? Can all this come upon us suddenly without warning? What do Lot and Noah have to do with end time events?Who will come as a thief in the Night?
We are going to be looking into the value of faith, by that I mean How to obtain faith and grow our faith, how important faith is, how not to be double minded, and how to keep your faith once you obtain it!! We will also learn what some of the results are of not having faith, we will look at the hall of faith in Hebrews chapter 11. We will see what faith can do for us, and how we can have STRONG faith. I hope you will join me for this ALL important message!! Our reading out of "Apples of Gold, a devotional in Rhyme" will be out of July 4th!!
We will be looking at how to discern the times and seasons when Jesus is coming again, who can know the signs and who can not. We will learn about the two men in the Bible that are our examples of what the coming of the Lord will look like. We will find out if WE are ready, can we be ready, how to know if we are ready or not. We will see how we can find comfort in these troubled days!!
