Today on Woman Redeemed it is my honor to introduce the lovely, talented, and kind Teresa Gann. Sister Gann is one of those special women that truly reflect Jesus. Spend even a few minutes speaking to her and you know that she knows Jesus deeply and personally.

Biblical holiness is such a large, multifaceted, and deeply sensitive topic. It is a topic that is heatedly debated, exstensively researched and touches the lives of every woman. The heart and intent of this conversation is to pull away the mystery surrounding this topic and speak from personal experience and revelation.

This conversation is meant to be a launching point from which we encourage every woman who listens to start meaningful discussions and personal study.

Holiness isn't supposed to be confusing, scary, and hard. It is beautiful, joy-filled and a privilege. It is our sincere prayer that you walk away feeling empowered and encouraged. 🧡

Thank you for choosing to listen to Woman Redeemed. I pray that it blessed your heart and leads you closer to our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

On this episode of Woman Redeemed, I'm thrilled to introduce the incredible Yahaira Tipton. Despite the Bible saying there's nothing new under the sun, the lies of isolation and loneliness tell us we're alone, no one cares, and no one has ever felt this way.

But today, through our conversation, Yahaira reminds us that we're not alone. Be encouraged as she shares her personal struggles with isolation and loneliness, and how Jesus has used those experiences to teach her to be more like Him. We dive into the impact of social media on these feelings, discuss how to use our emotions as guides for our choices, and discuss much more!

For the woman who feels alone in a crowded room, this episode is for you– you are seen, you are heard, and you are not alone.

Thank you for choosing to listen to Woman Redeemed. I pray that it blessed your heart and leads you closer to our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

With honesty and wisdom, they share how Jesus transformed their lives during challenging times, bringing glory to God. Be prepared to have your heart ministered to and your faith lifted.

However, please be aware that Kari's story addresses mature themes, including sexual violence and rape. These topics may be triggering for those who have experienced similar situations. Today on Woman Redeemed, it is my great honor to introduce the beautiful, godly, and wise, Sister Debbie Sanders!

There are times in each of our lives when choosing joy is easy. The birth of a child, the last slice of cake, the warmth of a hug; joy just seems to weave itself into each of those moments with ease. But what happens when choosing joy takes effort? What happens when joy seems like a faraway myth that cannot be accessed in the middle of the very real and all-consuming circumstances that you are currently facing?

With wisdom, humor, and real-life experience, Sister Sanders takes the time in our conversation today to answer these questions and more. Jesus is the heartbeat of our conversation today, and without a doubt, the strength of the Lord is found in the ability to access HIS joy.

As the popular musician sings: "I have joy because I have Jesus!" I know this conversation will bless and minister to all who listen!

Thank you for choosing to listen to Woman Redeemed. I pray that it blessed your heart and leads you closer to our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

Today on Woman Redeemed, we are kicking off our Month of Miracles with three incredible testimonies from three wonderful women from all over the state of Pennsylvania.

There are times when our faith needs to be built. We need to remember the awesome might and power of the God we serve. Jesus is an ALIVE and on-time God. He sees our situations and He provides according to His riches and glory! There is NOTHING impossible for Him. No sickness is too great, no diagnosis is final, and there isn't a situation that is beyond redemption. Jesus is able.

I pray that the testimonies of Sister Joy Peoples, Sister Lena Byler, and Sister Elizabeth Montgomery bless your heart and increase your faith. If He did it for them in their situation He will do it for you in yours! The solution may look different, but the execution will be the same: flawless, complete, and full of the grace and mercy of a good God. May Jesus bless you richly!

Today on Woman Redeemed, it gives me great pleasure to introduce the beautiful, sweet and kind, April Long!

If you are human being breathing air, there is a one hundred percent chance that someone you care about has hurt you in either word or action. (Maybe even both!) When this happens, we are left with pain, confusion, heartache and a choice. What do we do with this hurt? How do we handle the aftermath of what has happened to us? And probably the most important question: What does Jesus want me to do with this hurt?

Today, April dives deep into these questions and provides insights and opinions and answers based on scripture, personal experiences and a life lived for the glory and honor of Jesus Christ.

It is our sincere prayer that our conversation today encourages and equips every lady who listens. Jesus has a plan for every part of our lives, even the parts that hurt us. It is His desire to redeem every piece of our story for His purpose! How amazing is that!!

Thank you for choosing to listen to Woman Redeemed. I pray that it blessed your heart and leads you closer to our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

Today on Woman Redeemed I have the great honor of introducing the kind, intelligent, and lovely, Sherry Collins.

Sherry is incredibly transparent in today's episode as she speaks on the incredibly sensitive topics of trauma and restoration from trauma.
*The following episode contains themes of sexual abuse and brief mentions of suicidal thoughts and is not suitable for young listeners. If these themes could cause you any mental distress, please feel free to skip this episode. *

A Note From Taylor:
Today's episode is heavy. There is no way around it. What Sherry has been through is unfortunately not uncommon in the world that we live in today. As uncomfortable as it may be to be faced with the reality of what can happen in a world separated from Jesus, we need to educate ourselves. We need to know how to love as Jesus loves and be a help to survivors of traumatic situations and not a hindrance in our ignorance. Jesus in His infinite love and gentle grace has a story of redemption for every hurt, pain, and trauma that we experience in our lives, and Sherry is such a beautiful testimony of the redeeming love of Jesus Christ. I pray that our conversation ministers, educates, empowers, and leaves you changed.

Thank you for choosing to listen to Woman Redeemed. I pray that it blessed your heart and leads you closer to our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

Today on Woman Redeemed, I am very excited to take some time and have a girl chat style episode.

Jesus has been talking to me about some very specific things in my personal Bible studies and I felt led to share some of these things on the podcast today.

We are going to take a look at three very specific topics. The line between pursuing excellence and demanding perfection, learning the proper way to approach areas of lack in our lives, and what I believe are some of the most important principles we can learn from the Proverbs 31 woman. By the end of the episode, I think you will see that even though these three topics are different, they complement each other beautifully.

I pray that through sharing my heart, you are blessed, challenged, encouraged, and come away with some new knowledge to help you in your personal journey to live life as a woman redeemed.

Thank you for choosing to listen to Woman Redeemed. I pray that it blessed your heart and leads you closer to our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

Today on Woman Redeemed, it is such an honor to introduce the lovely and wise Lorraine Bowley!

When I think of a woman who has lived a life of faithfulness, Lorraine is always one of the first people who come to my mind, and through our conversation, I'm sure you will find out why.

With deep wisdom and personal stories, Lorraine shares what Jesus has revealed to her through her relationship with Him about what is means to be truly faithful in every season and circumstance.

Life isn't always butterflies and rainbows. It can get messy and complicated rather quickly, but when we get out of the way and let Jesus get ahold of our messes, the results will always be for our good. He is for us, not against us- we must only learn to anchor our lives deeply into His will and hold on.🧡

Today on Woman Redeemed, I am honored to introduce the incredible and brilliant Mallory Saylor.

Mallory is one of the smartest and most sincere women I have ever encountered, and today she is sharing her journey into the world of academia and how she occupies a place in that world as an Apostolic. We often see faith and academics pitted against each other, but today, Mallory shares how she has pursued excellence in her chosen field and held tightly to the truth of the Bible at the same time.

Be encouraged and challenged by our conversation on knowing the Word for yourself, being prepared to defend and debate your beliefs, and never losing that spark of curiosity that Jesus has placed in the hearts of every single one of us.

Today on Woman Redeemed it gives me great joy to finally introduce y'all to my sweet husband, Josiah Frankford! This episode is incredibly special to me because it sums up my husband perfectly. Josiah is one of the greatest examples of sacrificial love I have ever known.

What does it mean to love someone sacrificially? That is the question we ask and answer in today's conversation.

True love, no matter the source has the capacity to sacrifice...but what do you do when you actually have to dig into that capacity and give of yourself to a person you love through their hardest and lowest times?

I pray this episode ministers to your heart and leads you closer to the One who first loved us. ❤️

Today on Woman Redeemed, it gives me great pleasure to introduce one of the most influential women of my life, the wise and wonderful, Sister Barbara Huston!

It is hard, almost impossible at times to understand why bad things happen to us. Especially when we can look back on a life lived in service to our King. What is the purpose of pain? Why is sorrow allowed to touch the lives of God's children? With wisdom borne of experience and a life lived fully and completely for Jesus, Sister Huston teaches us to better understand the heart of God in today's conversation.

Today's topic is a heavy one and digs down into the question all Christians have asked or been asked at some point. " How could a good God allow THAT to happen to me."

His thoughts are higher than our thoughts, His ways are higher than our ways, and the very things that we think are meant to harm us, and may even feel like they are slowly killing us can be used as the tools to bring us closer to Him and reshape our hearts and our character to be more and more like Him. We must only be willing to submit to the process and be transformed.

Thank you for choosing to listen to Woman Redeemed. I pray that it blessed your heart and leads you closer to our Redeemer, Jesus Christ.

Today on Woman Redeemed, it gives me great pleasure to introduce the one and only Jessie Carter!

Have you ever felt like you are not enough but also too much at the same time? Do you ever feel like you are worth less than those around you because of everything you cannot do or that what you have to offer is not as good as what the person next to you has to offer? My friend, this episode is for you!

With wit and vulnerability, Jessie shares her struggles with feeling less than, comparison, and worthiness. She shares scriptures that can teach us how to retrain our thinking, personal stories that point to our good God, and the wisdom that comes from walking the walk and talking the talk of pursuing a life that is not held down by comparing ourselves to others but instead finds our purpose and peace in Jesus. This conversation was a joy; I am so excited to share it with the world! I pray that every person who listens walks away from this conversation, knowing that they are fearfully and wonderfully made and that as long as they are pursuing the heart of God, they are precisely where they need to be.

Today on Woman Redeemed, it gives me great joy to introduce the beautiful, sunny and full of wisdom, Evyona Rickenbach!

The relationship you have with your earthly father directly impacts the way you view your heavenly Father, and much of today's episode centers on Evyona and her journey to understanding Jesus as her Father.

With vulnerability and strength, Evyona shares how growing up without her father impacted the way she viewed God, how she viewed herself and how she interacted with the world around her. We touch on the topics of guilt and shame, expectations and perfectionism, and how our Good Father truly does want to give us good things. We are the apple of His eye, even if we don't even believe it yet.

I pray that this ministers to each person who listens and that you walk away from this episode with the unwavering knowledge that you are a Daddy's girl. đź©·

Today on Woman Redeemed I have the immense pleasure of introducing the lovely and wise, Vicki Meeks.

Change is the one constant in life, but it is one of the things we fight the hardest against. Learning to accept change and transition gracefully through seasons of change is a part of godly character that we all would do well to cultivate in our lives. Especially since change is one of the biggest teachers that Jesus uses to guide us through our lives and move us closer to Him.

With grace and wisdom, Sister Meeks shares what the Lord has taught her about times of transition and change, what she sees in the Bible that gives us a blueprint on how to handle and accept change and walk through transitions, her own season of transition she is currently experiencing and so much more.

I know this conversation will encourage and minister to all who listen. I pray it blesses your heart and leads you closer to Jesus! đź©·

Today on Woman Redeemed, I have the absolute privilege of sitting down and having with Bradley and Katy Wevodau.

Last week on Woman Redeemed, Katy shared her story of depression and anxiety with us. This week, Bradley is sharing what it was like to walk through that season of depression with Katy. Bradley shares what the Lord has taught him about loving, protecting, and spiritually supporting Katy "through sickness and health", how he came to peace with the fact that medication was going to be a part of Katy's story, and so much more.

As Ecclesiastes says, " to everything there is a season." This is the testimony of a good God who used a painful and confusing situation to heal not just Katy, but Bradley too. A God who brought them out on the other side with a better understanding of who He is, and how to love each other.

I pray that this episode ministers to the hearts and minds of every person who takes the time to listen.

Today on Woman Redeemed, I have the honor of introducing you to one of my dearest friends, the wonderful and artistic, Katy Wevodau.

"This is not a story of the faithfulness of Katy, but it is a story of the faithfulness of God and His steadfast love for His children."

That is the text I got from Katy after we recorded today's episode, and I believe it sums up the heart of our conversation together and who Katy is as a person. Today's topic is depression and anxiety, specifically, Katy's personal experience with both.
With incredible vulnerability, Katy accounts her story, from youth through early motherhood, and how, after the birth of her fourth child, it all came to a boiling point. She shares the miraculous moments, the confusion, the highs and lows, and what the Lord taught her through it all.

I know that every person who listens will be blessed by Katy and her story!

Verses from Today's Episode:

  • "Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls. When he found one of great value, he went away and sold everything he had and bought it." -Matthew 13:45-46
  • "And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity..." -Jeremiah 29:13-14

Today on Woman Redeemed, we are celebrating the end of the 2023 season of Woman Redeemed! I could not let this season of the podcast end without thanking every person who has taken the time to listen to the conversations we have had this year.

Starting this podcast was one of the most challenging things I have ever done. I knew what Jesus was asking me to do, I knew I had to do it, but hitting the button to upload that first episode was pretty frightening! But wow... Jesus has blown my mind! I am so very grateful that Jesus chose me for the ministry that has become Woman Redeemed.

So, Thank you! Thank you for every comment, every download, every share, and most importantly...every prayer! I do not take lightly the privilege I have been given, and I am so thankful that we get to go on this journey of walking as women who have been redeemed by our merciful and loving Savior together.

On this episode of Woman Redeemed, it gives me great pleasure to introduce one of the most lovely and strong ladies I know, Sister Vicki Betterley.

Sister Betterley and her husband are leaving the great state of Pennsylvania at the end of this year to fulfill a call the Lord has placed on their lives. A call that leads them to the "warm heart of Africa", otherwise known as the country of Malawi as Assistants in Missions (AIMers) with the intent of becoming the resident missionaries.

Today's episode is deep, filled with transparency, and full of grace and wisdom. Sister Betterley shares her heart on what it is like to answer a calling from God that changes your entire life, shares encouragement for the women who are wrestling with what answering the call of God will require of them and so much more. I am in awe of her faith and steadfastness and I know that you will be as well. Listen and be encouraged by her words of wisdom, kindness of heart, and strength of spirit.

When we followed the plan of salvation, Jesus placed a call on each and every one of our lives. It will look different for every person, but the call and our responsibility to answer that call are the same no matter who we are. In the words of Esther 4:14, " Who knows but that you have come for such a time as this?"

Scriptures from Today's Episode:

  • "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:6-7
  • "May he strengthen your hearts so that you will be blameless and holy in the presence of our God and Father when our Lord Jesus comes with all his holy ones." - 1 Thessalonians 3:13
  • "He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God." - Micah 6:8
  • “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?" - Esther 4:14

On this episode of Woman Redeemed, we are taking a deep look at Habakkuk 3:19, the book Hinds Feet on High Places by Hannah Hurnard, and what it means to pursue the high places of the Lord.

From learning what it means to walk with Sorrow and Suffering, to encouragement on setting our affections on the things of God, I pray that this episode ministers to your heart and challenges the way you view the difficult seasons of your life.

Above all things, we must remember that this world and it's troubles are not our forever home, we have a hope and the promise of future with our Savior that will sustain us through any and every season of our lives. And if we learn to trust in Jesus, if we sustain ourselves in His strength, He will help us to walk in His High Places.

Scriptures from the Episode:

  • "No temptation has overtaken you except such as is common to man; but God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to bear it. "-1 Corinthians 10:13 NKJV
  • "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, though its waters roar and foam and the mountains quake with their surging." -Psalms 46:1-3 NKJV
  • "Remember the word to Your servant,
Upon which You have caused me to hope. This is my comfort in my affliction,
For Your word has given me life." -Psalms 119:49-50
  • "My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing." -James 1:2-4 NKJV
  • But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob,And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. For I am the Lord your God... -Isaiah 43:1-3 NKJV
  • Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. -2 Corinthians 5:17 NKJV
  • And Lot lifted his eyes and saw all the plain of Jordan, that it was well watered everywhere (before the Lord destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah) like the garden of the Lord, like the land of Egypt as you go toward Zoar. Then Lot chose for himself all the plain of Jordan, and Lot journeyed east. And they separated from each other. Abram dwelt in the land of Canaan, and Lot dwelt in the cities of the plain and pitched his tent even as far as Sodom. - Genesis 13: 10-12 NKJV
  • Now the two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them, and he bowed himself with his face toward the ground. -Genesis 19:1 NKJV

On this episode of Woman Redeemed, I have the privilege of having a conversation with one of the humblest, most sincere, and most genuine women I have ever met in my entire life- Hannah Hurley.

Today, our conversation centers on the smallest and most vulnerable of us, our children. Hannah is a UPCI children's evangelist and the children's church director for her local church. Hannah's passion and love for sharing the love of Jesus with our children is beautiful and inspiring- and her journey to this calling is one full of surprises and a heart posture that says "Not my will, but Yours be done."

I pray that as you listen, you are encouraged, and you walk away with a heart turned towards "the least of these."

Verses from Today's Episode:

On this episode of Woman Redeemed, I am so incredibly honored to introduce you to the lovely, strong, and inspiring- Paula Watts!

I was introduced to Sister Watts through social media and had the privilege of meeting her in person at the UPCI General Conference last year. Beyond being sisters in Christ, we have another sisterhood- the Pink Sisterhood.

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Sister Watts is sharing her testimony of her diagnosis and fifteen-month battle with breast cancer. Listen and be encouraged by the hope and joy that radiate from who she is and the strength of a relationship with God that has been tested in the deep trials of life.

In today's conversation, we tackle the hard conversation of what it looks like to walk through hard things with Jesus, what it means to actively choose to believe in the goodness of God, how we savor the beautiful gift of life, and what it means to not let a single situation define who we are for the rest of our lives.

I was so encouraged by this conversation and I know that you will be as well. This is a celebration episode. A "look at what our God has done" episode. One that I pray lifts your heart and encourages your faith.

And to all my fellow Pink Sisters... There is a whole life full of beauty and color on the other side of where you are now. Just grab onto Jesus and don't let go. He's got this.

**Scriptures from the Episode:

"**Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." - Proverbs 3:5-6

On this episode of Woman Redeemed, I have the absolute pleasure of having a conversation with the wonderful, wise and fabulous- Talina Lutz.

With incredible wisdom and vulnerability that inspires, Talina shares her struggles with the spirit of fear and all the lessons she has learned through the process of overcoming this very real, very personal, and oftentimes very scary emotion and the bondage that it can create in our lives.

Listen, be encouraged and glean from this conversation as we talk about some of the different types of fear, our own personal battles with fear, the proper function and purpose of fear, and what Jesus says in the Bible about overcoming the spirit of fear in our own lives and walk with God. (To name a few of the points we touch on!)

This is a conversation packed with truth and wisdom that will minister to you, teach you, challenge you, and inspire you. I know that this conversation will bless you and I pray that it reaches your heart and empowers you to overcome the fears you battle in your own life.

Today on Woman Redeemed, I am so excited to introduce you to my actual first friend, my brother, Hunter Hulsey RN.

Today's conversation is a little bit different from most of the others I have had on this podcast because our topic of conversation is broad. But through the flow of our conversation, a story is told. One that took my brother from boy to married man. One that shows the beauty of God's timing, God's plans, and what it looks like to accept a calling and a ministry that doesn't necessarily end at a pulpit.

From stories of the ER and his career as a nurse to marriage advice for young married couples, to our favorite childhood memories, this conversation is filled with laughter, truth, and advice for growing up and accepting responsibility for your life, your actions, and above all else, your relationship with God.

I pray this episode blesses your heart and you have as much fun listening as we did recording!

On this episode of Woman Redeemed, it is my privilege to introduce you to the lovely, artistic, and witty- Sister Yvette Phelps.

This conversation changed me. Hearing her testimony, the beauty in the way she talks about forgiveness, the absolute miracles Jesus has done in her life, the mercy of the Lord evident in her every word...it truly changed the way I view the action of forgiveness and my responsibility to forgive those around me.

Her testimony is heartbreaking and filled with pain beyond what many of us will ever experience..but the mercies of a good God. The vulnerability and transparency she shares it with are filled with strength and peace that I personally aspire to and the words of wisdom and lessons she shares in today's conversation will minister to your heart and bless your life abundantly.

Forgiveness is a command from Jesus, in all situations, regardless of the pain, it is something we must do because it is something He did first and continues to do without fail every time we fall.

Listen today and learn what it truly means to forgive seventy times seven. I assure you, you will never be the same.

  • Today's episode deals in part with the very real, very painful subject of abuse. Because of the nature of the conversation, I do not recommend listening to anyone under the age of 16.*

Scriptures from Today's Episode:

"**Delight yourself in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
- Psalm 37:4

"Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us..."
- Hebrews 12:1**

I was once told that Niki is one of the hidden gems of the Pennsylvania district, and I cannot agree with that statement enough. Today, I am giving you the gift of listening to one of the most beautiful conversations I have ever had the honor to be a part of.

Sister Niki is a worshipper, and today, we get the privilege of listening to a true worshipper talk about the act of worship and what it really means. From the difference between praise and worship, how worship affects our lives, and her own personal relationship with the act of worship, Sister Niki's wisdom, humor, and grace will bless your heart, challenge your faith and minister to your walk with God.

I am so excited to share this conversation with you all. I know it is going to change you like it changed me. đź©·

Today on Woman Redeemed, we are diving back into the conversation we started last week with the beautiful and bubbly, Tessa Remaley.

Listen as she opens her heart and shares her passion for ABLE ministry and how it has impacted her life. She talks about her own diagnosis of ADHD as an adult and how it has changed her life and helped her better understand herself. Tessa also shares with us how individuals and the church can be the biggest cheerleaders and support for special needs families and how their family dealt with an accident that could have ended Bennett's life...but God.

I am so thankful that Tessa was willing to sit down and have this very-needed conversation with me. Her love for her sons, her family, and her God are truly an inspiration. I know that you will walk away from this conversation full of joy and maybe even with a small piece of her passion for ABLE and the wonderful superheroes who benefit from this incredible ministry!

Today on Woman Redeemed it gives me great pleasure to introduce the bright, bubbly, and passionate Tessa Remaley.

Tessa is the ABLE Ministry representative for the state of Pennsylvania. Her passion for this incredible ministry of the UPCI comes out of her experiences of being the mother of her miracle, Bennett Remaley. Listen and be encouraged as she shares the testimony of Bennett's life, from being non-verbal and diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), to being told by his doctors that his diagnosis of ASD was miraculously gone. But, that is just the start of his story and the impact that his little life has had on his family, his church, and his world.

But as much as this is about the miracle of Bennett, this episode is about Tessa and Jesus. It is the testimony of a mother who never gave up on her child. Who grabbed Jesus in one hand and her son in the other and walked by faith through uncertainty, fear, pain, and everything in between. She is taking the lessons she has learned along this overlooked and often avoided pathway and is reaching out to all those still in the middle of their own similar journey, broadcasting the love of Jesus, uplifting the superheroes found in the form of special needs mothers (and families), and sprinkling fidget toys like confetti.

This is the first ever two-part episode on Woman Redeemed because this story, this ministry, and the beautiful soul of Tessa Remaley could not be contained in just one hour! So buckle up, and get ready for a conversation that will leave you laughing, crying, and praising Jesus for His goodness and His mercies. And don't worry! Even though it ends on a cliffhanger, next week on 8/15, part two is coming your way!

This conversation was a joy to record, and I hope and pray it fills your heart with joy and empowers you in your very own journey with the ministry of hospitality.

On this episode of Woman Redeemed, I am so incredibly honored to introduce the lovely, genuine, and incredibly wise- Rebecca Pichardo.

Today's conversation is one of the heaviest and most emotional that I have had on this podcast, but it is also one of the most necessary. Grief is real, unfortunately, and it is something we all experience many times in our lives. But grief is also one of the conversations we tend to shy away from. We are afraid that if we talk about it, it will become real, and that scares us.

With vulnerability that inspires and wisdom that teaches, Sister Pichardo shares her own journey with grief. She shares how grief teaches, how it changes, and how Jesus uses it as a tool to show us our need for a merciful and loving God.

To all those who are walking with grief, this is a gift of encouragement from our hearts to yours. May you know that the heaviness of this pain will lessen over time, there is light at the end of this dark season, and that we serve a powerful and good God. One who will take all of our pain and use it for His purpose.

Verses from Today's Episode:

  • And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. - 2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV
  • But now, thus says the Lord, who created you, O Jacob, And He who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; You are Mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you.For I am the Lord your God,
The Holy One of Israel, your Savior... - Isaiah 43:1-3 NKJV

On this special Father's Day release of Woman Redeemed, it gives me great pleasure to introduce my father- William (Jamie) Hulsey.

Losing his father as a boy changed everything about my dad's life, from his everyday living to the trajectory of his future, and even how he parented my brother and me. Growing up as his daughter was one of the highlights of my life, and my brother and I always knew that he loved us deeply, was proud of us for who we were and not what we did, and that nothing was more important than us barring Jesus and my mother! (I love you, Dad!)

My dad takes the time to share his testimony with us today, how losing a father shaped his view on fatherhood, advice for others who have lost a parent and are now parents to their own children, and what he thinks every woman needs to know about her husband as her spouse and the father of her children.

I know that this episode is going to be impactful to those who listen. You may cry, you will definitely laugh, and you will absolutely walk away with a better understanding of a father's love.

Today on Woman Redeemed I am deeply honored to introduce the UPCI Pennsylvania District Ladies President and one of my personal heroes- Sister Debbie Cluster.

This conversation is one of the most needed and important ones to have in the culture we are living in, and I am so humbled that I was given the opportunity to have it with Sister Cluster. Alexander Hamilton once said, "Those who stand for nothing will fall for anything". I would add to those wise words and say "If we are not standing with both feet on the word of the Lord we are destined to fall...hard." Biblical womanhood and femininity are a gift, a purpose, and a calling straight from the throne of grace. It cannot be overstated that we need to know who and what we are as women of God and ambassadors of Christ and His love in an ever-darkening world.

With humor, grace, love, and wisdom born of experience and rooted firmly in her relationship with Jesus, Sister Cluster dives deep into what biblical womanhood and femininity mean, why they are important, and how we can practically apply both to our everyday life and walk with Jesus. She encourages us to embrace who we are in Christ and what He has made us to be: beautiful, feminine, and full of His love.

I know that you will walk away from this episode overflowing with encouragement, thoughts to ponder, and a newfound appreciation of what it means to be a woman of God.

On this episode of Woman Redeemed, it is my deep joy to introduce one of my dearest friends, Erin Pichardo.

Erin has one of the most beautiful and powerful testimonies I have ever heard, and I cannot express how honored I am that she has chosen to share it on Woman Redeemed today. She shares the power of a Living God and what happens when a hurting and broken heart finds the piece and the peace it has been searching for all of it's life. The love of our God is real, it is all consuming, and it is life changing, and Erin shares all of that love and power and change in today's conversation.

This episode will encourage you, build your faith in Jesus and open your eyes to the truth behind the statement: "there's a God shaped hole in all of us."

Verses from Today's Episode:

“But as for you, you meant evil against me; but God meant it for good, in order to bring it about as it is this day, to save many people alive."
-Genesis 50:20 NKJV

"Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness,

Today on Woman Redeemed, I have the pleasure of introducing you to the wise and wonderful Brittany Bair.

Her insights into the building, maintenance, and importance of family culture will inspire and impact all who take the time to listen. Our family unit and culture are one of the most powerful tools that we have to show the love of Jesus to a broken and hurting world. But more importantly, the culture of our family is the backbone of our children's introduction to Jesus and shapes the lens through which they view Him.

Listen as we discuss what it means to be the curator of your home, the importance of family togetherness, and what it means to cultivate and curate your "family fragrance."

Happy Mother's Day weekend!

On this special Mother's Day edition of Woman Redeemed, I had the wonderful opportunity to sit down with my beautiful and sweet momma and talk about all things motherhood! I know for a fact that this episode is going to encourage and uplift every momma who listens. Ladies, we need to listen and absorb the wisdom she shares with us on this episode. Being a mother is the hardest, most wonderful and most rewarding task there is in this entire world, and raising children who love Jesus and serve them with their whole heart is not for the faint of heart and weak of spirit. My mother, Rena Hulsey, has successfully raised two children who have transitioned into adults who love Jesus and are serving Him in His kingdom with their lives and families of their own. She has results that back up her words and actions!

Listen as she shares her advice for mothers in every stage of motherhood, from littles all the way to teens with hormones bigger than they know how to deal with. She shares her views on the distraction of social media, what she loves most about being a mother, and the things she would go back and change if she could. Wisdom is learning from the lives of those around us, and I promise that you will learn from the life and wisdom of my mother. This is my Mother's Day gift to all of you. I hope you enjoy it.

On this episode of Woman Redeemed I had the absolute honor of having a conversation on prayer with one of the most powerful prayer warriors I know- the wise and lovely- Sister Paula Kellstrom. (with a special guest appearance from her sweet puppy Simchah Torah-who reminds us that honest and real is the tagline of this podcast!)

Her wisdom and love of Jesus is evident in every word she says, and I know that you will walk away challanged, encouraged and closer to Jesus than you were before.

From the stories of her childhood to the testimonies throughout her walk with Jesus, she shows us how prayer weaves itself into the life and very essence of who she is. She encourages and empowers us to love prayer above all else as our communication with our King, with beautiful insight into the scriptures and a love for Jesus that is so deep you can feel it with every word she speaks.

It is my sincere prayer that every woman who listens to this episode is uplifted by our conversation and walks away from this episode with a deeper love, understanding and appreciation for prayer and how it connects us to our wonderful savior, Jesus Christ.

On this episode of Woman Redeemed, I am taking the opportunity to share a massive part of my story and the testimony that Jesus has given me- my journey through breast cancer at the age of twenty-three.

Four years ago on this day, I received a call that took everything I knew, burnt it to the ground, and propelled me and my relationship with Jesus into a season of sorrow, unlike anything I could have ever imagined.

In this episode, I share some of the key lessons that I learned from that season of sorrow Jesus had me walk through, including how I dealt with anger toward God, feeling alone in the middle of the hardest thing I have ever faced, and what happens when the miracle you are praying for is not instantaneous.

I also share how beautiful the plan and purpose of our Good Father are, no matter what we may feel at the moment, and offer encouragement to anyone who is currently walking through their own season of sorrow. I pray that this episode blesses your heart and encourages your walk with Jesus and that you remember in all things, sorrow may last for the night, but JOY comes in the morning!

Verses from Today's Episode:

" Though He slays me, yet will I trust Him."
-Job 13:15 NKJV

"Sorrow may last for the night, but joy comes in the morning."
-Psalm 30:5 NKJV

"To give them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they may be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.”

Together we will explore just how intertwined these two principles are, you cannot have one without the other. With, humor, personal testimony, and powerful insight into scripture, we are taught both practical and spiritual lessons that we will carry with us always if we are wise enough to do so. Today's episode is truly a blessing! I had the honor of interviewing the wise and wonderful- Amber Handkins!

Every woman needs to listen to this episode, because every woman (and I mean every), has a ministry. When Jesus redeemed you, he gave you a purpose in His kingdom, and that is your ministry!

Listen and be blessed as she shares her wisdom, her story, and her heart for Jesus and the ministry in His kingdom. She shares her powerful insights into scripture and how to do a biblical study on what ministry really means. She also shares her thoughts on friendship, spiritual mentorship, loneliness in ministry and so much more. I was blessed listening to her wisdom and I know Jesus is going to use her through this episode to encourage and equip every woman who listens!

In today's episode I mention Genesis 1:1, I actually meant John 1:1!

Verses from Today's Episode:

"I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
- Philippians 4:13 NKJV

"My soul, wait silently for God alone, For my expectation is from Him."
- Psalm 62:5 NKJV

"For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
-Hebrews 4:12 NKJV

" In conclusion, be strong in the Lord [draw your strength from Him and be empowered through your union with Him] and in the power of His [boundless] might."
-Ephesians 6:10 Amplified Version

Listen and be encouraged as she shares a little bit of her story and her beautiful heart for Jesus.  She shares how she overcame her need to control every piece of her life and instead has learned to turn to the One who controls the rise and fall of nations, and trust that He has a good plan with a good outcome for her life and the lives of those she loves. I know this is going to be uplifting and eye-opening to every woman who listens!

In this episode of Woman Redeemed, we are picking up our weapons and facing the ground zero battlefields of our minds head-on. I share some of my own struggles with my thought life this past month and the tools that I have learned over the past few years that have helped me fight and WIN the battle over my mind.

Whether it be a reoccurring thought pattern, a sneak attack from nowhere, or just tips on how to be kinder to your own mind, this discussion is meant to empower and equip you to be the victor of your thoughts and not the victim. We are more than conquerors through Jesus and today is the day to remind yourself of just that!

Verses from Today's episode:

“ For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” - Romans 8:38-39 NKJV

"Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things." - Philippians 4:8 ESV

"Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10 NKJV

Today's episode is a special one! Not only is it my very first interview, but it is an interview with my favorite woman on the face of the earth- my mother, Rena Hulsey!

Listen in as she shares her testimony, gives us the best advice she has ever received and lets us know what type of animal she believes every little boy should own. (Hint: it's slimy!) Growing up, I knew I was blessed to have her as my mother, but as an adult woman with children of her own, I thank Jesus every day that He gave me the mother He did. She is my role model, my sounding board, my biggest cheerleader and my very best friend. I know that her story is going to be a blessing and her wisdom an encouragement to everyone who hears it.

Verses from Today's episode:

"For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted; a time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; a time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; a time to throw away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; a time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away; a time to tear, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; a time to love, and a time to hate; a time for war, and a time for peace." - Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 NRSVB

"The wise woman builds her house, but with her own hands the foolish one tears hers down." - Proverbs 14:1 NIV
