This is a podcast of the Sunday scripture and sermons from Hilltop United Methodist Church in Mankato, MN. Listen weekly to grow closer to God, together!
The sermons of John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist movement, have been preserved for centuries. Wesley preached thousands of sermons to coal miners and common people all across the British countryside, driven by a strong conviction that God's grace is available to everyone, that genuine spiritual transformation is possible in this life, and that authentic faith must show up in how you actually live. This summer, Pastor Matt will preach five sermons drawn directly from Wesley's own writings, updated in language, but carrying the same fire and message as the originals from the 18th century. We'll wrestle with some of the most honest questions a person can ask: Am I truly a Christian, or just going through the motions? What does real spiritual transformation look like? What does it mean to be born again? And what does God want me to do with my money? These are the questions Wesley believed every person needed to wrestle with, and they're just as alive today as they were three hundred years ago. Join us this summer as we rediscover the theology that shaped who we are as United Methodists.

As we begin summer, it may be time for many of us to “touch grass” again. This Gen Z phrase usually means stepping away from the noise and reconnecting with reality. Together we will explore the five emotions often connected to grief: anger, denial, acceptance, bargaining, and sadness to consider how God meets us in those feelings. Consider this a spiritual invitation to step out of the doom-scrolling and return to what is real and life-giving: to God’s presence, to honest emotion, to meaningful relationships, and to the beauty of creation in summertime. Week by week, we will discover that the gospel does not shame our grief or rush us past it, but meets us right in the middle of it, with love and hope.

In a world reshaped by isolation, digital distraction, and division, how do we "do" community well? Join us this Sunday as Pastor Fred Vanderwerf continues his four-part series, "Living Into Community." Drawing from the work of Christine Pohl and the Methodist tradition, Fred explores how community serves as a vital "means of grace" that transforms us. Having already explored gratitude and promise-keeping, this week’s message, "Living Truthfully," dives into the power of integrity and the hidden costs of duplicity. Come flex your community muscles and discover how Christ works through us when we choose to live authentically together.

Life has a way of wearing us down. Faith can feel fragile. Hope can feel stretched thin. The book of Hebrews was written for moments like these: to believers who were tired, discouraged, and tempted to give up. In this preaching series, Anchored, we will walk through the book of Hebrews sequentially, listening for its steady, pastoral call: hold fast. Hebrews points us again and again to Jesus Christ: the one who speaks God’s final word, shares our weakness, intercedes for us, and secures a hope that does not drift or break. Across these next several weeks leading to Easter, we will explore faith under pressure, perseverance in the wilderness, and the deep assurance we have in Christ. Hebrews reminds us that Christian hope is not wishful thinking or fragile optimism, but something solid and trustworthy: “This hope is a safe and secure anchor for our whole being” (Hebrews 6:19)

Hebrews reminds us that Christian hope is not wishful thinking or fragile optimism, but something solid and trustworthy: “This hope is a safe and secure anchor for our whole being” (Hebrews 6:19).

Prepare the Way for the Lord is an Advent/Christmas journey that invites us to walk alongside John the Baptist as we ready our lives for the coming of Christ. Through the stories of Zechariah and Elizabeth, the miracle of John’s birth, his bold ministry in the wilderness, and his call to compassion and repentance, we’ll rediscover what it means to live expectantly in a world longing for light. Each week opens space for reflection on prayer, grace, doubt, silence, generosity, and the ways our lives can point more clearly to Jesus. As Christmas approaches, we stand with the first witnesses who testified to the Light, preparing not only for a holy night but for a transformed way of living shaped by Christ’s coming presence.

This November at Hilltop we’re exploring Jesus’ call in Luke 12 to live with open hearts and open hands. In a world that tells us to cling tightly and worry constantly, Jesus invites us into a different life: a life of trust, joyful generosity, and freedom in God's abundance. Over three weeks, we’ll discover how trusting God forms generous hearts, and how generosity unlocks the deep joy of the Kingdom.

This sermon series explores the heart of the Wesleyan way of following Jesus while also celebrating what makes HILLTOP United Methodist Church unique. Together we’ll dive into the values that shape our faith—like God’s grace freely offered to all, and the call to live a life of holiness where Christ’s love transforms us, our communities, and the world. We’ll see how The United Methodist Church is deeply rooted in Christian tradition and carries forward a legacy of compassion, care, and courageous response to injustice. And we’ll reflect on how Hilltop has lived out that tradition in our own community—through ministries of service, hospitality, and everyday discipleship. This series is an invitation to rediscover not only who we are as United Methodists, but also who we are as Hilltopians living faithfully into the 21st century.

For these three weeks we are exploring the powerful themes of The Wesley Prayer Challenge. Each week in worship, we’ll dive into John Wesley’s bold prayer of surrender: “I am no longer my own, but thine…” and discover what it means to trust God fully, follow Christ faithfully, and live with renewed purpose. Through Scripture, preaching, and prayer, we’ll walk together into a season of spiritual renewal. Come ready to worship, reflect, and respond to God’s call in fresh and life-giving ways.

The challenge is to pray this prayer every day for 21 days, beginning September 7:
I am no longer my own, but thine.
Put me to what thou wilt, rank me with whom thou wilt.
Put me to doing, put me to suffering.
Let me be employed for thee or laid aside for thee,
exalted for thee or brought low for thee.
Let me be full, let me be empty.
Let me have all things, let me have nothing.
I freely and heartily yield all things
to thy pleasure and disposal.
And now, O glorious and blessed God,
Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
thou art mine, and I am thine. So be it.
And the covenant which I have made on earth,
let it be ratified in heaven. Amen.

Music, with its universal language, transcends cultural and linguistic barriers, becoming a conduit for spiritual connection and reflection. Whether through the sacred hymns of a church choir, the soulful melodies of a gospel song, or the ethereal notes of a classical symphony, music often evokes profound emotions and a sense of the divine. For some, the lyrics and harmonies resonate with their faith, providing comfort and inspiration. For others, the sheer beauty and complexity of music evoke awe and wonder, reflecting the magnificence of creation and the presence of a higher power. In moments of worship or solitude, music can open the heart and mind, inviting listeners to explore their spirituality and find peace, purpose, and a deeper connection with God. Come worship this Sunday, in person or online, at 10:30 am.

Micah 6:8 is a popular verse for many Christians.
"He has told you, human one, what is good and what the Lord requires from you: to do justice, embrace faithful love, and walk humbly with your God."
These three themes represent the core mission that God has called us to as Christians. God calls us to change our world for the better through these three themes and actions. What does it mean for us? How do we do it? The world is huge and there is so much to do. Join us on Sunday as Mike Menne walks through justice, love, and walking humbly with God.

This summer, we’re exploring four powerful words in an occasional sermon series that speak to the heart of the Christian life: meaning, affirmation, identity, and justice. Each week, we’ll turn to Scripture to ask: What does it mean to live a meaningful life in God’s story? How does God’s love affirm our worth when the world’s voices say otherwise? What does it truly mean to find our identity in Christ rather than in status, success, or shame? And how do we pursue justice as a reflection of Christ’s own heart for the world? These words are more than just ideas; they are signposts pointing us toward a deeper life of faith. Come grow with us as we rediscover how God’s truth can shape our lives from the inside out.

First we hear from our Lay Leader, Paulette Adams, about the history of Camp Meetings. Our scripture from 1 John 4 will lead us into Bishop Lanette Plambeck's Episcopal Address to the United Methodist Churches in Minnesota. In her Episcopal Address, she urges us to lean into “the reckless, unrelenting grace of God” even when the world around us seems bent on despair. She reflects on the word “hallelujah”—which is found only in Psalms and Revelation; it’s used not as individual praise but as a collective call to praise the Lord. She invites us to “raise our hallelujah” as a form of sacred resistance against fear and false gospels, as a testimony to what God has done, and as a commitment to what God will do through us. She encourages us to be a people who love boldly, serve joyfully, and lead courageously.

Best of Q & R is a two-week sermon series built around some of the most thought-provoking and heartfelt questions people have asked after a sermon. These aren’t easy questions—and they don’t come with easy answers. But that’s exactly why we’re taking time to sit with them. Instead of neat solutions, we’ll explore thoughtful, faithful responses rooted in Scripture, Christian tradition, and real-life experience. Whether you're wrestling with doubt, seeking clarity, or just curious what others are wondering about, this series is for you. Bring your questions, your faith, and your open heart. Let’s explore together.

What if heaven isn’t just where we go when we die… but something we can live in right now? In this 4-week series, Living for the Life to Come, we’ll explore what Jesus really meant when he talked about the Kingdom of Heaven. Each week we’ll bust myths, dig into Scripture, and discover how heaven changes everything—our hope, our relationships, our work, and our purpose. Heaven isn’t just our future. It’s our calling. Come and live like heaven is breaking in, right now!

Easter Sunday is the day Christians celebrate the story of Jesus rising from the dead—a story that, at its heart, is about the triumph of life over death, hope over despair, and love over fear. In the United Methodist tradition, Easter is a joyful reminder that new beginnings are possible, even after the darkest of nights. Come for a worship service that is filled with joyous music, beautiful flowers, and the warmth of faithful community as we gather to affirm that light can break into any place of sorrow or struggle. Whether you’re someone who believes deeply, doubts often, or is simply exploring, Easter offers a powerful message: that renewal is real, and that love has the final word.

Palm Sunday, the beginning of Holy Week, marks the story of Jesus entering the city of Jerusalem, greeted by crowds who waved palm branches and laid them down like a red carpet, welcoming him with joy and anticipation. For those of us in the United Methodist tradition, it’s a time to reflect on the longing for peace, justice, and healing in our world—and how that hope shows up in unexpected ways. Whether you're deeply rooted in a faith tradition or just curious about what these stories mean, Palm Sunday offers an invitation to explore themes of courage, compassion, and the power of humble leadership.

Come with your questions, your curiosity, and your openness—because seeking God is the first step to knowing God.

Second Corinthians is a heartfelt and deeply personal letter from the Apostle Paul to the church in Corinth, emphasizing the paradoxical power of God revealed through human weakness. Paul defends his ministry against critics, showing that true spiritual authority is marked not by worldly success or strength but by humility, integrity, and reliance on God. Through vivid examples of suffering and comfort, he reveals that God’s grace sustains people in their trials, transforming weakness into a conduit for divine strength. Central to the letter is the call to embrace reconciliation, generosity, and authentic ministry, reflecting the transformative power of Christ’s death and resurrection. In a world that values self-reliance and power, Second Corinthians reminds us that God’s Power is Made Perfect in Weakness.

It is time to celebrate the faithfulness of God in helping us to realize our vision that began with the Missional Church Consultation Initiative in 2018. The efforts of the Sanctuary Enhancement Team have culminated in the beautifully remodeled sanctuary, with technology upgrades that will help Hilltop to reach the next generation and their families. The team addressed feedback from the congregation that included improving sight lines for every seat and also designing a flexible space for expanded ministry activities. There is much to be thankful for: your faithful and generous donations to the capital campaign, the volunteers who have assisted with technology and moving new chairs, the commitment of the Sanctuary Enhancement Team, and the work of Brunton Architects and Construction. Come join in a grand reopening and service of consecration.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. With its enchanting themes of snow and cold, light and darkness, meals and gifts, temptation and sin, forgiveness and hope—and even an appearance by Father Christmas—C. S. Lewis’s The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe provides a natural framework for the seasons of Advent and Christmas. Each week we will explore a key theme from the story, paired with Scripture, to help the us journey through Advent’s anticipation and Christmas’s joy. This series looks at the power of light breaking into darkness, the significance of gifts and meals as symbols of grace, the struggles of temptation and sin, and the ultimate triumph of forgiveness and hope through the coming of the King.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. All of us experience ups and downs, and while tough times can either break us or make us better, transformed people face challenges differently, with resources that guide them along the right path. Unlike a chaotic rooster reacting to an oncoming storm, a transformed person resembles an eagle that rises above the storm, using adversity to reach new heights of faith. Tough times are a wake-up call that push us closer to God. In this four week sermon series, we’ll explore how transformed living empowers us to navigate life’s storms by returning to our priorities, focusing on fundamentals, exercising God’s creativity, and cultivating a Christlike attitude.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. What do you do when life is changing fast and when the old way of doing things no longer works but a way forward is not yet clear? These in-between times are often called liminal seasons—threshold times when the continuity of tradition disintegrates and uncertainty about the future can fuel doubt and chaos. Sound like 2024? In a liminal season it simply is not helpful to pretend we understand what needs to happen next. We need practical hope for tired and weary people. We need to learn from the mistakes of the past and connect with the heart and soul of why we do what we do. Join us for this practical sermon as we discuss what to do when you don’t know where you’re going.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. Imagine you're going about your daily routine—running errands, at work, or maybe just spending time with your family. Suddenly, a voice calls out to you. It's clear, inviting, and somehow irresistible. You turn, and before you stands Jesus, who looks right into your heart and says, “follow me.” What would you do? How would you respond? This is the same invitation Jesus gave to the first disciples—ordinary people like fishermen, tax collectors, and laborers, ordinary people like you and me! These two words, “follow me,” were spoken to the hearts of people centuries ago and it changed the course of history. But what does it mean for us to follow Jesus in our everyday lives today? What does it look like to be a disciple in today’s world? Join us this Sunday as we explore what discipleship means—what it asks of us, what it promises us, and how it shapes the way we live out our faith.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. Dallas Willard once described hurry as “the great enemy of spiritual life in our day,” and his observation rings true, especially in today’s fast-paced world. Maybe we’ve seen firsthand how hurry underpins many of our most pressing issues. It fuels the anger and anxiety that define our cultural moment, affecting everyone—including followers of Jesus. Many of us endure a constant state of low-grade fatigue and chronic anxiety, racing through our days at a relentless pace, often feeling disconnected from God in the chaos. The truth is, our busyness hinders us from living emotionally healthy and spiritually vibrant lives. Hurry is fundamentally at odds with the way of Jesus, whose kingdom is centered on love, joy, and peace—qualities that cannot thrive in a life ruled by speed. As Willard urged, we must “ruthlessly eliminate hurry” to experience the fullness of life that Jesus offers. Join us for this six-part sermon series as we slow down and learn the unforced rhythms of grace from Jesus.Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. In this year’s edition of "Finding God in the Music" we will dive into the protest songs of the 1960s and 70s, exploring how these powerful anthems of love, peace, and justice echo the timeless truths of Scripture. Each week, we will examine a different song from this era, reflecting on its message and uncovering the spiritual themes that resonate with biblical teachings. By blending the prophetic calls for peace and love found in these songs with relevant passages from the Bible, this series invites us to consider how these messages continue to speak to our current day, challenging us to live out our faith in a world still yearning for justice, compassion, and understanding.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. On a trip to Scotland in 2019, while Bishop Lanette was stepping onto a bus, the driver instructed her to “mind the gap” between the platform and the vehicle. “I believe God has uniquely positioned the United Methodist Church in Minnesota to be trailblazers as we mind the gaps of society,” she said. We can mind the gap of justice and reconciliation work. We can mind the gap of the least of these so that people will have their basic human needs met. It is up to us to mind the gap that separates the kingdom of heaven from what we are experiencing here on earth.

Reflecting on the peacefulness and serenity of “up-north” experiences, we will emphasize the importance of starting each day with intentional time spent in God's presence, seeking guidance and peace for the day ahead. We will draw parallels between the patience and perseverance required for fishing and the trust we place in God's provision. Additionally, we will highlight the significance of Christian fellowship and community in nurturing our faith, sharing life’s joys and burdens, and experiencing God's presence together.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. This Sunday we have a thought-provoking and heartwarming message inspired by the beloved movies “Inside Out” and “Inside Out 2.” Abbie Page, our youth director, will delve into the fascinating world of our complex emotions and explore how each plays a crucial role in our lives. As Christians, we often face the challenge of understanding and managing our emotions in a way that aligns with our faith. We will look at what Scripture says about our emotions and learn how to bring them before God, trusting God to guide us through both the highs and lows of life. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed by sadness, consumed by anger, or lost in fear, this sermon will offer hope and encouragement, reminding us that best of all, God is with us.

Whether you're a seasoned player, an avid fan, or simply attending to celebrate and worship, welcome to this softball /baseball themed worship service. In baseball and softball, we witness the power of teamwork, the thrill of competition, and the joy of community. These team sports teach us valuable lessons about perseverance, discipline, and the importance of playing with heart and integrity. Just as players come together on the field, we will gather on the lawn for outdoor worship.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. Every social group is shaped by its core stories, customs, and histories, which collectively contribute to its character. These formative traditions serve as the foundation of a collective identity, akin to pieces of a mosaic. In the context of our faith, each story represents a building block in the grand narrative. The book of Exodus recounts two pivotal examples: the miraculous liberation of God's people from Egypt and the establishment of God's covenant with Israel at Sinai. Both narratives revolve around the figure of Moses, a towering leader in our faith. This series aims to delve into the significance of Moses and these core stories, which serve as revelations of God's presence and activity in the world, offering us a broader perspective on God's continued engagement with us today.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. The Second Sunday of Easter in some traditions is known as Quasimodo Sunday. Most people know the name Quasimodo from Victor Hugo's 1831 novel "The Hunchback of Notre-Dame" or one of it's various adaptations to film. The name Quasimodo (or Quasimodogeniti) originates from the incipit of this day's traditional Latin introit, which is based on 1 Peter 2.2. "Quasi modo géniti infántes, allelúia: rationábile, sine dolo lac concupíscite, allelúia, allelúia, allelúia." Translated into English: "As newborn babes, alleluia: desire the rational milk without guile, alleluia, alleluia, alleluia."

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. Easter Sunday is the day Christians around the world celebrate Jesus' resurrection from the dead. Easter is also a season in the church (The Great 50 Days) that is an extended celebration of the resurrection and the vast new reality that this event brings to the world. Clarence Jordan, co-founder of Koinonia Farm, wrote, "The resurrection of Jesus was simply God's unwillingness to take our 'no' for an answer. He raised Jesus, not as an invitation to us to come to heaven when we die, but as a declaration that he himself has now established permanent, eternal residence here on earth. He is standing beside us, strengthening us in this life. The good news of the resurrection of Jesus is not that we shall die and go home to be with him, but that he has risen and comes home with us, bringing all his hungry, naked, thirsty, sick prisoner brothers with him."

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. In life and in death, Jesus’ words were powerful and meaningful. Despite the serious effort and increased pain required for Jesus to speak as he hung on the cross, Jesus spoke seven “final words”—statements that have much to teach us about Jesus, the Holy Trinity, and ourselves. Each week we'll explore one of these "final words" and what it means for us today.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. How to Read Revelation is for those who are confused by, afraid of, and/or preoccupied with the book of Revelation. In rescuing the Apocalypse from those who either completely misinterpret it or completely ignore it, we’re going to spend 5 weeks diving into the Biblical text itself and its important connections to the Old Testament and how this helps us understand its message for today. Rather than a script for the end times, you’ll learn how Revelation is a script for Christian worship, witness, and mission that runs counter to culturally embedded civil religion.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. With two wars raging in Gaza and Ukraine, and our restless hearts so prone to raging at others, especially with another election cycle about to start, PEACE comes surging into our midst again this Advent. It comes on the wings of the angels to the shepherds and in the words of the prophet Isaiah in our biblical texts, it comes in the songs of the season as we sing O Come, O Come, Emmanuel and Hark! The Herald Angels Sing, and I pray that peace lands on our hearts once again. Where are you seeing the symbols of peace this Advent? Throughout the next month we will be looking for PEACE.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. Hilltop is in the middle of a Capital Campaign called: Honor the Past - Hope for the Future. This campaign is based off of Romans 15:13 "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." For the next several weeks we'll be sharing about who God is, what our hope is, how we live with joy and peace, and what this means for this year and the many years to come.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. The old axiom is true: people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. While the world around us seems to devolve into chaos, fighting, and constant bickering, we want to chart a different way. A Jesus-centered way. We find ourselves in a cultural moment where people simply want to feel seen, heard, and loved. The good news? A little kindness goes a long way.

Today is also World Communion Sunday.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. Genesis 2:7 says "The Lord God formed the human from the topsoil of the fertile land and blew life's breath into his nostrils." Adam was created out of dust of the Earth. How could there be any more of a relationship with the Earth than to be created out of it? It's as if God scooped up a couple handfuls of earth and formed humanity. When God formed Adam he was not a living being until God breathed life into his nostrils and we became living human beings. The fact that we exist as living, breathing human beings suggests that we have a relationship with the Earth because we were created out of it and we have a relationship with God because we breathe the very breath of the one who created all that is. Join with special guests Don & Stephanie Putzier as we talk about our important relationship to creation on this special Sunday message.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. If Jesus ever preached a sermon, should we take to heart what that sermon's message is? It just so happens that Jesus gives us one of his longest teachings in a sermon, called: The Sermon on the Mount. In the gospel of Matthew, chapters 5-7, Jesus preaches a sermon with some of the most poignant teaching for us as Christians. This sermon lays the groundwork for how to think and act in the world as a Christ-follower. Jesus teaches from the Old Testament, updating some of its teaching, to get to the heart of the matter. We will spend the next several months methodically reading and understanding all of his teaching from this sermon.

Welcome to our Hilltop UMC Mankato podcast. This week, Rev. Allison Warren reads from Luke 24:13-36, the road to Emmaus story. Bishop Lanette Plambeck follows with her Episcopal address for the Minnesota Annual Conference. Using the Emmaus story, the Bishop asks us when our Creator stopped us in our tracks, what were we doing, whom were we with, and how were we made aware of God with us?

It just so happens that Jesus gives us one of his longest teachings in a sermon, called: The Sermon on the Mount. In the gospel of Matthew, chapters 5-7, Jesus preaches a sermon with some of the most poignant teaching for us as Christians. This sermon lays the groundwork for how to think and act in the world as a Christ-follower. Jesus teaches from the Old Testament, updating some of its teaching, to get to the heart of the matter. We will spend the next several months methodically reading and understanding all of his teaching from this sermon.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. Prayers, presence, gifts, service, and witness…this is what we commit to when we become members of The United Methodist Church, and it’s a big step. A Disciple’s Path will help us look beyond church membership to becoming a disciple and forming Christin habits from a distinctly Wesleyan perspective.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel.
This is our sit down interview with Bishop Lanette where we get to dive deeper into who she is and what her ministry is all about!
“I want to be where our people are, hear their hopes and dreams for our conference, and see the places they live, love, and worship,” said Bishop Lanette Plambeck, who began her assignment as resident bishop for the Dakotas-Minnesota Episcopal Area on Jan. 1, 2023.
That’s precisely what our new bishop hopes to do at a series of upcoming gatherings in each district across the state. Southern Prairie United Methodists and others are invited to come to Hilltop UMC to meet Bishop Lanette, hear some of her story, worship together, enjoy warm hospitality and good conversation, and leave with a renewed sense of hope for the future.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. The New Testament begins (Gospel of Matthew, Chapter 1) with a genealogy of Jesus. For first century people, the biggest puzzle would’ve been the inclusion of four women in Matthew’s genealogy, along with Mary: Tamar, Rahab, Ruth and Bathsheba (the unnamed wife of Uriah). In a culture that traced lineage almost exclusively through men, these women would’ve stood out like beacons in a stream of male names – and they still do. Their presence fairly shouts the questions: Who were these women? And why did the Holy Spirit single them out as ancestors of the Messiah? For the next five weeks we'll be exploring each of these women and how they are part of the gospel story for us.

Hello and welcome, thanks for visiting this channel. The church is not here to win. Being a Christian does not mean conquering the enemy. By every human measure, our Savior lost. On purpose. With a purpose. And we are his body. We are not in it to win anything. So in that sense, to be a Christian is to be a loser. But it's not exactly what you're thinking because the gospel does give us hope.
