A long time fan of Radiohead and his friend who's only familiar with "Creep" review every song in the band's discography. Will this podcast turn the Creep into a fan?
No, this song does not remind me of Shrek. That's a completely Nico related thing and I don't understand it either.
We begin the review of the Hail To The Thief Live Recordings album - but more specifically, the videos uploaded to the Radiohead Youtube Page of that time period.
Nico takes a lot of helium during his review of the song, and it starts to get very concerning.

"This feels like brown noise", Nico says, while immediately following that up with not knowing what brown noise is.

Thom and Jonny go on vacation with their wives for three days and write a song while they're there.
Did they stay at the hotel because they had a good idea, or?
Thom is a big fan of Philip's drums in this song, so much that he calls them sexy, and Nico gets hung up on what's in Thom's mouth while he wears a cowboy hat.

"It gets certain points for just being stylistically cool and different and enjoyable, but I think there's part of it that is a little bit not for me?"
We detangle the backwards/forwards recording of the song, and also listen to what the song sounds like backwards, or forwards? We listen to them both ways. Our heads are spinning, at this point.
Nico: "At First was like, 'yeah you've got me' and now it's like, "well i don't know if you've kept me.' Like a distorted version of being in a meditation lounge".
Nico loves the fact that this song appeared from a jam - "Usually it's like, 'they've spent 365 years underground measuring the antenna of a woodlouse'.. "
What are we teaching Nico in this episode?
That music isn't that snake-y.
"Like adding in a Coda"
"What's anaconda?"
"Not anaconda, a coda, like an ending".
Nico finds some logic between AI and Knives out, and he kinda has an interesting point.
Andrew does ASMR. Nico BOPS (not to the ASMR, to the song). Did you know three of the songs on this album are spaced specifically to deal with water related things?
Nico tenses up and waits for the revolving door to drop. Does it happen? No, it turns into what he calls, "Art Therapy".
Nico and Andrew finally met in person for the first time earlier this month! Andrew flew to London, and together they traveled to Oxford to see the "THIS IS WHAT YOU GET" Exhibit.

Thom: "(For this album) We are definitely having singles, videos, glossy magazine celebrity photo-shoots, children's television appearances, film premier appearances, dance routines and many interesting interviews about my tortured existence."
Nico: "Well there's a line..."
The band recorded Optimistic the day after laying the tracks down for this one, so maybe that's telling where it fits within the context of score? Also somehow it took a long time for Andrew to bring up Stanley, which is not what a good host should be doing here. Certainly not shim-shimming.
Nico felt like this was very White Lotus-y, "I don't know, it was just cool. I feel like I certainly haven't processed it. It's confused me but drawn me in."
Which is how Andrew feels about ACTUALLY being in the same city, hanging out with his co-host at the time this episode airs!
Ready to learn about Saddam Hussein and Christiane Amanpour? No? Well it DOES have information on where the title of the song came from. We also learn about the United Nations Special Commission and tunnels and more tunnels.
Thom: "More of an orgy of violence, politics, and not politics. I don't know man, that's what's going on inside my head and I won't lose sleep about it anymore because it obviously benefits the music, thank god."
Nico: A lot to unpack there. Good for him, whatever that means.
Andrew is transported back into the living room of an old friend who tried to teach him how to play piano, while Nico wishes he was on mushrooms.

It's fitting that Nico hears the opening track from The Bends on Halloween, isn't it? How does it stack up against where we've been?
Nico thinks we're stuck in a double entendre warp and is still hurting about the word Lozenge as we review the final track from the My Iron Lung EP.

Recorded at the same show as last week's episode, does the band start off this concert with more drive, or do they end up in the same place?
One of only two songs we get to review from the ITCH EP (as most of it is reviewed elsewhere), does this song improve on the original like last week's? No. Floyd would get a beer at the bar.
This song did not get favorable ratings from either host when we heard the original for the first time in Episode 26. How do we rate it 6 episodes later?
Much higher. Find out why.
Chase returns for our second video watch along. This time we're seeing "Stop Whispering (US Version)". This video isn't available on youtube, and it seems the band isn't a fan but some of us are!

Introducing a new segment: Chasing The Video. A mutual friend of ours waltzes in and joins us as we watch the music videos. Chase knows even less about Radiohead than Nico does, so how does he feel about seeing and hearing Creep for the first time?
Another track Floyd couldn't find on Youtube, so he and Nico watch and review a performance recorded in July of 1993 at the World Beat Center in San Diego.
Andrew couldn't find the live version attached to the POP single, so this week we go back and watch the recorded version of Creep played at the MTV Beach House just before Thom went for a swim.
Is this song about a company of Bananas? How does it come across to Nico? Does he even like bananas?
This week we have ourselves an extended episode. Nico hears the song for the first time and then immediately watches the music video. Does the video boost the song?
The 30 second Stream-of-Consciousness reviews end (maybe forever?) with Nico's review of the final track from Pablo Honey.
For more than twenty five years, Floyd has been pronouncing the title of this song wrong. Today he learned that it isn't Lur-jee, it's Lur-Ghie.
Down the rabbithole with Nico's new re-telling of Pablo Honey. "Dude's not having a good time, he just can't" .
The 30 second reviews continue and Nico falls into a place where he's finding Thom's "character" coming back from death. Huh?
Floyd forgets what episode we're on. Nico struggles to pronounce vegetable. All things are becoming clearer now, this is a long journey but we're here to screw around and have fun!
What is Ripcord really about? How is Nico feeling about his journey? How Deep are we in the honey of Pablo?
But can they? Would Nico want to keep playing guitar into the afterlife? Does he know who Keith Richards is? Or even Jim Morrison?
Does Nico have anyone thinking about him? Does Thom's mother know this song is about masturbation? Are both answers to this no?
Nico continues trying to find out what Thom is talking about while his computer fan comes back with a vengeance.
In this episode, Floyd messes with Nico's vision of the song and we continue our 30 second reviews. Does Thom have a poor self image?
Nico keeps breezing through the songs on Pablo Honey in 30 second reviews on what he feels from the songs in this weirdo test run. Today, he talks about the only song he's heard before.Oh, and don't forget his computer fan.
Attempting something new for Pablo Honey: Giving Nico 30 seconds to speed-talk his way through what a song means. He could be completely off, but that's part of the fun!
What exactly is this song about? Does the title have anything to do with the lyrics? No they most certainly do not.
Nico decrees that Faithless is not a happy bunny, and Thom's enunciation can be difficult sometimes. Have you heard this song?
Happy Valentine's Day! In this extended episode, we watch the music video for "Anyone", and I subject Nico to the terrifying version Radiohead played on "MTV's Beach House".
The first episode where Nico and Floyd disagree wholeheartedly when rating this track, it's certainly different from the Pablo Honey version. So which side do each of them land on?
Song Two from the Drill EP: "You". Different from "Thinking about You", "You" is also the first track on Pablo Honey, but it's certainly different here. Which band member do they use on their rating scale for this one?
The least well known song on the drill EP, it's been a while since Floyd's heard it so how does he remember it? What are Nico's thoughts on a song that is probably about a car accident?
In Episode 2 we get our first review: The first track from the Drill EP entitled "Prove Yourself". Does this sone prove itself to Nico? Does Floyd still find love for a classic track? Do you agree?
In this episode: meet the hosts as they figure out how to manage their project.
Nico is not familiar with Radiohead outside of Creep. So Floyd takes it upon himself to push Nico into the deep end. The Radiohead fanatic and the newbie are going to review every song Radiohead has ever released.
