In the final episode of The Dolphin Pod during the 2023-2024 season, the CSI Sportsnet crew takes to the diamond for the Students vs Faculty / Staff Softball game. Undefeated in over 10 years of the game's history, the staff looks to maintain their perfect record as the students go for their first-ever win in the event. Following the game, the crew signs off for one final time as they break for the summer.
On the second new episode of The Dolphin Pod this week, host Joseph Foreman is joined by CSI Sportsnet colleague Nick Bivona to discuss the Spring season at CSI Athletics. Foreman recounts the start of the CSI Softball season in Florida while Bivona leads the discussion on the early season milestones reached by CSI Baseball. The due then brings the discussion to an end with a brief look ahead to a pair of events next week, the 2024 Finnies and the Students vs Faculty/Staff Softball game. Ahead of the East Coast Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championship, CSI student-athlete Ava Thompson joins the Dolphin Pod. The junior discusses how she became involved in Throws, her personal growth during her time as a student-athlete, and the upcoming ECC Championship meet.
It's championship season at the College of Staten Island as Swimming & Diving heads to the NE-10 Championship and Indoor Track & Field competes in the ECC Championship.
