So many times we are praying for things and we have not prepared ourselves for its arrival. Other times, we may prepares ourselves in one season or area of our lives, but neglect other areas that’s needed in order to steward what we want well. God is saying today that it is time to do the necessary work in order to receive the very thing you desire. There’s no quick and easy way, or Microwave button to push, for the destiny that He has in store for you. Whenever we go through challenges and face hardships in life, we can sometime tend to think, ‘Why me?’ ‘I’ll never making it through this.’ Well, my friend, I am here to state claim that you WILL make it! You have to learn how to love the version of ‘YOU’ that you see in the mirror when you wake up in the morning. It is in that version of YOU—before the makeup, mask, filter, hairstyle and whole nine—that your free healing lies. You may not like the process it takes to heal from open/old wounds, nor want to do the necessary work needed to operate in a balanced, healthier place; but in the end, you’ll LOVE the final product. We must be careful not to React to things that are Activated from our past. This is why it’s so important that you heal from within first, so that you don’t bleed on someone who didn’t cut/hurt you. Though things and challenges may arise, you have a decision to make: do I React or do I use it to Activate something better inside of me. The lure of Control is so tempting. In our lives, we try to Control everything. As people full of bountiful seeds of potential, we must understand that there are times when we can maintain Control and other times when we cannot. No matter what you may want the outcome to be, you have no Control over what it grows into —only how it grows. We are God’s walking and talking billboard. Whatever you’re going through, or those challenges you’ve faced, know that they are ALL a part of the marketing plan of the Kingdom of Heaven. We can either choose to Advertise well enough to draw more people to God, or we can keep them away—which means that we never make any new sales. Our goal and sole job is to draw more people closer to Jesus instead of away from him, and it’s done in by the way we live our lives, by the way we serve others, and by the way we share our story. We live in a time where there are a lot of addicts in the Church. Many come to Church, receive a word, look towards the Pastor and Jesus as their drug dealers in need of a fixing order to receive their high. Little do they know or even realize that this way of living is not sustainable. As in all addictions, if you live that way, you’ll have to keep coming back for more, and you’ll never find rest for your souls. When you have a true relationship with God himself, Jesus gives you living water, so that you never thirst again. This means that you can seek Him and experience Him wherever you are; thereby receiving your quenching of water constantly. God uses the Least Likely to do His bidding in the earth. When you read your Bible and you see these amazing stories of people doing extraordinary things for the King, their backgrounds of “perfection” didn’t qualify them for the job. Their areas of expertise didn’t qualify them either. What qualified them to be used by God were their: imperfections, obedience and willingness to sacrifice —lay it all down—for The Father. Think of a train station: when you enter it to board, there’s chaos everywhere as everyone else is trying to get to their destination. Yet, despite the chaos, it all has a purpose —to get passengers to and from their destinations. God’s Will and Kingdom is like the train station. Whenever there’s something God wants to do in your life, it always requires a sacrifice—doing things that seem uncomfortable and unconventional than what you’re used to. However, on the other side of that discomfort is breakthrough and a miracle. You may be in a season of pain and suffering right now; but just know that the Pain you’re in today is Birthing the Purpose and Ministry that’ll carry you into your next season of destiny. What’s to come will be so much better than what has been. Just keep the promise and hold on through the process for you’re progressing towards your Victory in Jesus name.
Whenever there’s something you want God to do in your life, it always requires a sacrifice—doing things that seem unconventional from societal norms. It’s a Messy job to sacrifice, but those willing to do this kind of work, receive an abundance reward for their obedience. It may be a messy job to start cleaning up the areas of your life, heart and mind that’s not reflective of Jesus Christ, but know that it’s worth it in the end. On the other side of your Messy work is breakthrough, freedom, blessings and more importantly, VICTORY! You just have to get a bit dirty to get it.
On the journey towards your destiny, you may discover Problems along the way that may want to deter you from proceeding forward. Don’t let it! It’s in the Process of solving and overcoming those Problems that lead you to your destiny of Promise! God has stored up Promises for us all, but one will never know what’s on the other side of Problems if they stop trying and give up hope in the Process. It all boils down to how bad you want your Promise.
No matter where you are in life, and no matter how big the problem is, conquer it from where you are. The difference between David and him defeating his Goliath isn’t that he was anointed king of Israel— it was that he knew and understood where his true power came from, God. In this season as you face your own giants, know that God is with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you. You may show up ‘Doing It Afraid,’ but you’ll leave victorious in Christ Jesus, recognizing that it was all in His strength that you conquered a thing.
Anything worth having is worth working for. If you want God to move mightily in your life, you have to be willing to prepare for it— ‘Practice Makes Purpose!’ God is not a fairy godparent who you can just shoot off your wishes and not do anything. Faith without works is dead. In order to receive what God has in store for you, you’ll have to become what you want. It requires change and sacrifice. Once you start doing the work, and allowing the Holy Spirit’s transformative process to complete its course, you’ll find the end results were worth the progress.
In this season, prayer is crucial and beneficial for your spiritual growth. However, many times we pray for things that we are not willing to sacrifice for or become the person needed to obtain it. Most don’t even think about the personal work it’ll take to receive it, achieve it, maintain it and steward it well. When you pray for things, instead of running down a long list of things you want —like God is some sort of genie in a bottle—take time to thank God for what He’s already done first. THEN ask Him to prepare you for what you’re praying for. The preparation period may seem Messy, but it’ll birth a Miracle once you truly consider — ‘Am I Ready For What I’m Asking For?’
While the warfare may seem fierce around you, just know that God has already established ‘Kingdom Victory’ over your life. The enemy may try to nick your heel, but God has given you the authority to crush his head with your foot. Don’t get deterred or weary in this season. Know that no matter the amount of weapons that may form against you, they will not prosper. You have an inheritance over your life and God has made you joint heir with Christ Jesus. That means that the battle is already a fixed fight for you’ve already won the ‘Kingdom Victory!’
When you’ve been called to do something significant for Jesus, when you’ve been called to have a personal relationship with The Father, when you’ve been given all authority from Heaven to defeat and cast out devils, the enemy revs up his attacks on your life. The devil does not want you to win. So, he will send his minions to come and fight you tooth and nail to try to get you off course. No matter what, keep going! Stay the course that God has given you. In this season, God is calling The Church higher. The old Religious systems are being replaced by Spiritual Maturity and Personal Relationship with The Father. God wants us to become anew in Christ Jesus, where the old man is replaced with a newer one. This means that He’s requiring more from those who call themselves His followers, and that means it’s time for us to go into the deep with The Holy Spirit. Kiddy pool faith won’t work in this season. Whenever God wants to use you, He changes things around you, part of this change will be your diet. The things that you once thirsted for, will no longer serve you in this season of your life. The things that you once hungered for, you will hunger for no more. The things you’ve once consumed, becomes a distant memory when you place your life into The Father’s hands. God does a heart transplant and makes you into a new creature in Christ Jesus, the old man/woman is put away and you become a new person. Understand that you were built for the life you live today. Everything you’ve encountered thus far has developed you and equipped you for the tasks you have up ahead. When seasons change, that means it’s time for you to experience the newness that God has in store for you. As you accelerate, ascend, go higher in Christ Jesus, your appetite has to change from economy to 1st class! It’s time to shed the old you and embrace the new you that you are becoming. Yes, it’s been a long journey and a difficult season, but now’s your time to make it to your destination. It’s only ‘1st class Dining’ when you’re sitting at the table of The King!
It’s Harvest Time, but that doesn’t mean there’s no more work to be done. As you ascend and graduate to your next level, know that God is allowing smooth sailing, but you still have a real devil that comes against you with turbulence. Remember: The plane always takes off against the wind. In this season, don’t get sidetracked nor deterred from the shifting winds. Know who is for you and pray for those against you. You do not have time to prove anything for the proof will be evident by your takeoff. Just focus on the ‘Harvested Work’ that’s in front of you and let God handle the rest!
You have an inheritance on your life! When it comes time for God to do anything in your life, there’s a Verification Process you’ll have to go through before launching into your next season. Whether you’re in the Wilderness or the Waiting Room, don’t make any sudden moves without becoming Verified first. You need God’s stamp of approval for with it comes the Oil of Anointing and the Power of Authority given to you by God’s Holy Spirit. Remember: You’re on the cusp of something great, something that will change your life for the better—don’t give up now because there’s turbulence up ahead. Keep flying high on wings as eagles for you are Check Marked!
In God’s Kingdom, to live righteously means to live outside of culture, doing things uncommon to societal norms. This means that We are to be IN this world and not OF this world. In this season, God’s looking for His real modern day disciples to take a stand. Be willing to pursue His kingdom and His will at all costs—even if that means going against culture. In order to be an effective GameChanger, one has to be willing to step away from what has been in order to produce what must be in the earth. You cannot be in culture and change it from the inside. Change only comes when you’re willing to take a step of faith outside it, in God’s direction, in order see things from a higher perspective. You can make a difference if you choose to make Kingdom Moves ONLY!
In this season, you cannot afford to let anyone and anything into your life. God has placed something significantly important inside of you and He wants to produce it through you. Some people are dream killers and some things are distractions. You cannot get sidetracked when God is doing something in your life. Whatever your season is, this is why it’s important to Guard Your Heart —for it determines the course of your life.
In this season, what you say matters. You can either speak life to your situation or death —the choice is yours. I encourage you to speak life as Jesus does. Watch what you say and whom you say it to. Not everyone that cheers for you is rooting for you; sometimes they’re rooting against you. In the same stadium of fans, a cheer and a boo sounds one in the same. So, be careful what you say and who you let speak into your life in this season for your dream/destiny/vision/goal is counting on it!
When it’s time for a rocket to get ready to launch, there’s intensity all around as the programmers, mechanics, engineers and astronauts all are working to ensure the rocket is safe and fully equipped for takeoff. God is saying the same to you today. It’s your season! It’s your time to launch! However, before you take off, you’ll find there’s more work that needs to be done in order to position you to sustain at the next level of orbit that God is taking you on. Let the remaining work be done! You’ll find it’s worth it in the end!
As you go about life, you’ll find many challenges up ahead. In order to combat these obstacles, you’ll need to learn how to fight, stand your ground and persevere through the storms. As followers of Jesus, we do not fight the same way as the world. We learn to fight on our knees! This is your battle cry! It’s time to Get Your Weight Up for you have a real devil to defeat!
Whenever you’re victimized by something, it stays deep within you changing your point of view and affecting the way you act, think, speak. Whenever God shows up in your life and reveals your purpose to you, destiny has a funny way of doing the same thing. This is God’s way of trying to get you to fall in love with your calling/purpose. The vision doesn’t go away because you want it to for it’s God’s way of nagging you, directing you and letting you know that He’s not through with you yet.
When God calls you to fulfill a purpose, He doesn’t confer with others about if you’re deserving of it or not —their opinions don’t matter. No matter what you come up against, no matter who conspires to stop you, when God blesses you, they have no authority to block what God wants to do in your life. So, you can have faith to STAND YOUR GROUND knowing that The Lord is on your side and that no weapon formed against you shall prosper.
In a world where everyone wants to give “Lady Luck” all the credit for good things, God is saying what about me?! Every good thing comes from God, not man nor luck. As you walk with God, no matter your situational circumstances, always try to remember just how blessed you are. The very breath in your body is not a stroke of luck, it’s a blessing from God.
In life, you’ll come across many challenges. Every challenge is not a battle you need to face. God wants us to learn how to lean into Him more when we encounter difficult situations or people. The best offense is a good defense; and an even greater Defender is Jesus! Let God handle your problems while you stay in His perfect peace.
In order to complete your journey in life, you must have a clear vision on where you are going. God has plans for us all, but if you’re unclear on the vision or direction of those plans, you’ll cast off restraints, do things against the plan, and you won’t go far. It’s best to be still and get clarity on the vision first before you begin your journey. Don’t start building without first counting the cost!
In this modern world, the platform seems to be the end goal, but in God’s Kingdom, Purpose is what He requires more. When you know your purpose and you begin to operate in it, God will elevate you to the level of status and platform that He has in store for you. Don’t chase Platforms, chase PURPOSE!
The plans that God has for you requires investments. When you’re in the Waiting Room, sometimes those investments seem to not match God’s plan for your life. Don’t give up hope! Only He knows the direction He’s taking you. Nothing will be wasted with God. You’ll get out of it what you’re willing to put into it.
Many times in life you may feel hidden, unnoticed by the public and people around you. Be thankful for those seasons for God is protecting you, covering you and shielding you from harm. You may be hidden from man, but you’re never hidden from God.
Whenever God places you in the Waiting Room, it’s time to take stock of the inventory that’s around you. In the Waiting Room is where you’ll notice who’s for you and who’s against you, who’s going to the next level with you and who/what needs to get left behind. There’s beauty in the ashes, there’s light and exciting things happening all around you in the Waiting Room, you just have to go and look.
Whatever you’re called to achieve in life, God has seasons and moments where He’ll place you in the Waiting Room. Your job there is to learn how to “Wait Well.” The launching pad is upon you, but how you handle the season or time in the Waiting Room determines how well you’ll do and when you’ll launch.
With God, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you. Yet still, there are times when God takes you through a season or a period of isolation. It’s in those separation times when God prunes you, grows you, helps you build endurance, character, positions you, while providing all you need in the process. It’s what’s required to go to the next level that God has in store for you.
God has a predestined purpose for us all. In order to ascend to new, greater heights, you’ll have to adopt this key Kingdom Principle that I talk about today. Only then, will you succeed and do all things well.
Before you were born, God had purpose and a plan for your life. As you grow in Him and begin to seek His best for yourself, you’ll have to embrace the discomfort and unsettling around you in order to get to that place. God has the best relationships for us all, but if we aren’t intentional about who we date and partner with, then we lack accountability for the actions that may unravel by the choices we make. Wisdom says, ““Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life.”Proverbs 4:23 NLT. When we learn how to do this, then we can know God for ourselves, understand His ways and how He loves us. Only then, can we Know Ourselves, Love Ourselves in order to love others well. It all starts from within.
“There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heavens:” Ecclesiastes 3:1 NIV. Often times we get in a hurry for things. We think we have to move fast in order to achieve something. But God’s timing doesn’t work like that. We do not have to rush for any affairs that God has in store for us. As long as we’re in ALIGNMENT, He will make sure the ASSIGNMENT is on time and that we get to our destination. We just have to learn to trust in the Navigator & He will steer us through the storms. Heed these wise words of wisdom, for it ALL comes from The Lord Jesus, see scriptures Proverbs 3:5-12.
