I get the honor to sit down with Michael Marcantonini. Michael is the play-by-play announcer for the Aberdeen Ironbirds. The Ironbirds are the High-A affiliate of your Baltimore Orioles. Michael and I conversed about the effects of Mental Health on people's careers. He also gives an amazing story about Kevin Brown, which is a must-listen! Hey Birdland, what a season it was for your 101-win Orioles! Winning the A.L. East and making it to the playoffs for the first time since 2016! Even two years ago, the O's had 115 losses. On September 28th, the Orioles would clinch the AL East division, with their 100th win of the season. Xavier Moore is a relief pitcher, who is in the Oriole's minor league system on the Aberdeen Ironbirds. Moore was drafted 16th out of high school to the Texas Rangers since he didn't end up committing to Ohio State University. Xavier was traded to the Orioles in 2019, and that's when his Orioles career began. In part 1 of the Xavier Moore interview, I sit down with him and talk about the goals he sets and his first exposures to baseball! I hope you enjoy, and tune in next week!

In the second episode of season 2, I dive deeper into mental health with Maxwell Costes. Costes is born and raised in Baltimore, Maryland and now he has the opportunity to play for his favorite team growing up, which is the Orioles. I sit down with Maxwell and discover the path he has been through and the steps he has taken to improve his mental health and to where he is now in his career. Maxwell is a very smart human, and I am glad that I got the chance to sit down with him!
