Hi there!!! We are back! We talk about our 2023 and how anxiety effects us. Wishing you all the best in this new year!!!!
Hey Y'all, It's been a minute but we are back. We finally went on our long awaited trip to Houston, Texas. Listen in to see how it went! The NFB, Restaurants, and 4th of July.
The girls are going traveling soon! We are finally meeting up at the Houston NFB convention, after being apart for so long! We are so excited, but also kind of anxious. Traveling blind can be scary, but it won't stop us from getting to our destination. We talk about our experiences traveling as people with visual impairments as we prepare for our upcoming trip.
Using a white cane can be scary, but it also opens so many doors for the Blind/Visually Impaired. How do you decide wherer or not you should become a white cane user? The girls talk about their experience with using the white cane, their anxities about using it, and the importance of it.
We talk to Mia and Gary from Echobatix, a new assistive tech company dedicated to helping the Blind/Visually impaired community. Tune in as we talk about tech equity and their new beta "Point and Speak".
The girls talk being introverted versus extroverted, socializing being really hard unless you are Amanda, and navigating big social events like weddings.
Settle in, get a snack, and relax it's a long one. The girls talk having shame when it comes to their disabilities, why it's so hard to shake, and how to work on being unapologetically themselves.
Do you make New Years resolutions? intentions? goals? Check out what the girls on Blind Tangents plan on doing this year! From learning Braille to finally having that hoe phase. It's about to get crazy!
Happy Holidays from Blind Tangents! We talk all things Christmas from crappy secret santas and holiday traditions to regifting! GASP!
You know what's really therapeutic? Talking about all the things that peeve you off! Join us as we go off about what really grinds our gears and if there's anything you learn from this one, don't you dare touch our food.
Today we talk being visually impaired and dealing with anxiety when it comes to social cues. From looking like bitches when we ignore people vs. giving intense eye contact and looking like serial killers, to returning hellos to people who were never even talking to us, and of course we go on tangents. Tangents include learning braille, beauty/self image. and white canes,
