When I was 18 I travelled the country with a semi-professional marching band. It was one of the first travel experiences of my life, and opened my eyes to how to TRULY BE HOMELESS AND HAPPY. We were crushing it every day- being the best in the world at something, hopping on a bus, and doing it in a new city the next night. In July 2020 I said f**k it and just started driving. I was tired of being locked up so I hit the road with only 10 days worth of plans. For 153 Days I drove across the US alone. Along the way I met plenty of world-class people and came out of it with some pretty legendary stories.

Today we sat down with my friend Wlad (pronounced Vlad). He’s originally from Russia, but has been living abroad for 15 years. I originally sat him down to talk about remote work and life in Colombia, but we meandered quite bit and talked about his life in Russia, his goals with writing, and why he wants to move back to Russia after 15 years abroad, despite the risk he'll face as a journalist. Wlad is a top guy and it was my pleasure to sit down and talk with him.
