On this episode of Black@Wharton, we explore Black History & Black Futurism. From space to healthcare to the human genome, we explore the possibilities of a better future for all.
This episode will kick off the second half of the inaugural season by bringing the people to the forefront. This episode, we will continue where we left off - the Whitney M. Young Conference. Each year, the Wharton African American MBA Association (AAMBAA) organizes a two-day conference dedicated to highlighting Black professionals who have built on Whitney M. Young’s legacy, and celebrating the amazing strides we continue to make in both the private and public sectors. As the longest running student-led conference at From Wharton alumni who have seen AAMBAA grow from the beginning to business owners receiving funding from the conference to some of the keynote speakers at the event. With live interviews, we will give a behind the scenes look at the Black@Wharton community.
On the third episode of Black@Wharton we discuss Black Legacy. How the past shaped the present and inspires us to build for the next generation. You will learn 1) about activist & business leader, Whitney M. Young’s contribution to the Civil Rights Movement and Black economic prosperity, 2) how his life’s work & vision for the future has left its mark on Black business today, and 3) the incredible work the Black@Wharton team has done to make the 49th WMY Conference truly amazing.

What is Black@Wharton?
