A person, who is blind by birth, went on to do Ph.D. and many courses and now works as Assistant Manager in SBI, runs a self-sustained home for semi orphans, blind kids all with his own earnings and also to financially support and to provide a family environment, runs a old age home in the same premises for a fee. Runs with his own salary and occasional donations by friends and colleagues, looked after by mother and elder brother, his is a story of perseverance. Swami Vivekananda is his guiding force.

Our guest today is Sweta/Aastha, born with a rare incurable disease, Osteogenesis Imperfecta, she fought her way through life with support of family and friends. She is an International Speaker, Graphic Designer, 3D Visualizer, Disability Rights Activist and founderbof ALKC Foundation.
Mrs. Manjula Kalyan, a renowned special educator and capable administrator, founded Swayamkrushi in 1991. an organisation established to provide education and rehabilitation for women with intellectual disability. Manjula Kalyan has won many awards for her groundbreaking work. Today, there are homes for both girls and boys, as well as an old-age home, a home for destitute women, and more others.
Manjula Kalyan’s organization has introduced and perfected an innovative method to rehabilitate the mentally and physically challenged children and adults. According to this method, the children and adults are placed in Group Homes under the supervision of resident staff members who are trained to handle issues related to daily life including judgment, problem solving, money matters and personal hygiene. The goal of the program is to rehabilitate these challenged individuals such that they are able to return to their own homes and become gainfully employed.

Syamala garu is one of the board members of Light NGO. She also worked as Incharge Chair Person of Child Welfare Committee. I knew Sravan garu since 2006. We used to collaborate with Sravan garu and his friends who were doing service activities through We Will Help You group. Later he moved to US and we lost touch. Through Facebook I met him again when I went to US for short term. He asked me to participate in this interview. I was surprised to know that we can run a show by being at home. It was truly fun for me. Then I decided that if I ever come back to US again, I will also be an RJ.
It happened that I came to US for long term in June 2015. Then I approached Sri Sahini Srinivas garu of TORI, whose reference is given to me by Smt. Ramadevi Iragavarapu. As I was given the Saturday evening 6 pm of EST time (I was in Livonia, Michigan then), I couldn't interview anyone. I used to run the show by talking about different topics.
