An excuse has never done anything for anyone aside from giving them a bad reputation.

Making excuses for not meeting expectations can do more damage to your reputation and self-concept than many people realize.

The failure to take accountability, and the attempt to take the easy way out by simply making an excuse, reveals the absence of character necessary to embrace and overcome uncomfortable circumstances.

The reality is that many people think an excuse will remove responsibility, but in actuality it just makes you less dependable.

If you spend your life constantly making excuses, you will continue to fall short of your goals, opportunities will close up, and you will be stuck with feelings of failure and inadequacy.

To see a positive transformation in your life,  you need to get rid of the EXCUSES, endure the discomfort, and put in the WORK.

This week David and Jaime discuss eliminating invisible barriers to personal growth and success.

Overcoming limited belief systems can be very difficult. To do so you must unlearn much of what you were taught, and rid yourself of the pessimistic ideology that has kept you from progressing.

Our way of thinking and the patterns of behavior we demonstrate are largely influenced by the environment we are raised in.  As we go through life, labels and expectations are placed on us, which enforce an average lifestyle and existence.

It is lack of knowledge, inconsistency of action,  and fear of uncertainty which keep so many people from transcending a mediocre and unfulfilling existence.

The truth is you will only go as far as you allow yourself to go. If you stop, it is because you allowed someone else's opinion of you or your own negative thoughts to get the better of you.

To propel yourself into a better future you must start living from your core and being relentless in your pursuits. By continuing to challenge yourself and consistently rising to them, you will find that your true potential is "Limitless." It is whatever you determine it to be.

In this episode David and Jaime discuss the subject of "trauma" and explain how traumatic experiences can have lasting effects on confidence and behavior.

Many people spend their life coping with the trauma they experienced in their life by turning to harmful vices which have the tendency to sabotage self-growth. However, personal evolution and self-improvement is found by healing and not by simply coping.

Undergoing the process of healing takes great strength and courage. To heal you must navigate unpleasant experiences, which are at the root of your unhappiness, and take authority over your responses to them.

On your path of healing, you must come to know your "triggers", and eliminate destructive behavior and negative self-talk.

By healing from your trauma you break cycles of pain, and you position yourself as a healer to others through the cultivating of your own difficult experiences.

This week David and Jaime discuss peak performance as being the result of engaging and enduring difficulty en route to victory in your life.

You cannot have victory without a fight, and you cannot win in battle unless you have properly equipped yourself.  Knowledge and resilience are key components in battle, and learning how to remain consistent is an art within itself.

Fighting to obtain success is only half the battle. The second half consists of you fighting to sustain or maintain it for generations to come.

You are the author of your destiny! You are currently writing your legacy!

It is your thoughts and habits which determine the strength of your Kingdom, for they are the tools/weapons used to build or destroy it.

In this episode David and Jaime discuss why passion and resilience are a winning combination which produce great results in the life of those who possess them.

In a day of participation trophies, with many looking to do the bare minimum in order to get by, will power sets the standard which separates the extraordinary from the ordinary. To achieve high levels of success you must be willing to put in above average work, and overcome all challenges en route to your end goal.

What do you do when you give all that you have and still fail? Most will tuck their tail between their legs and accept defeat. However, those with the winning mindset will accept their defeat with humility, learn the lesson, and come back stronger.

By accepting defeat under the encouragement of low aimers and achievers, you will live your life with a safety net. Although this way of living may bring you temporary comfort, it will eventually reveal itself to be a foothold to your purpose and  produce a lifelong feeling of unfulfillment.

Punt the participation trophy! Get rid of your safety net! And prepare yourself for a REAL challenge which will only serve to bring the best out of you if you embrace it.

To receive the best possible results in life;  humility, accountability, and responsibility are necessary pillars for success. Humility is at the core of personal evolution, accountability causes an individual to take ownership over their own behavior, and responsibility is demonstrated by you consistently meeting the standards you have set for yourself.

Once you have made a choice to improve your situation, it is important to continue making daily decisions in line with that choice.
