There is so much wisdom in the Christian tradition that is available to anyone willing to make the effort to extract it. It's a shame, really, that the whole thing has been associated with some kind of implicit pressure to be part of this or that group or church. Or that following Christian teaching will automatically mean I'm like "them." Reaping actual, practical, and livable benefits from Christian wisdom does not require membership in any group or church.
Perseverance is more important than winning.
