Hola todos, long time no talk. I apologize for taking such a long break. It’s been one heck of a rollercoaster over the past couple of months. Moral of the story learn to care for yourself in whatever way that looks like for you! Hola todos! This episode is a little bit more personal for me, but I felt like its important to share. Personal wealth and finance is something that i've become very interested in because I never had the full understanding of what steps I needed to be taking to create that wealth. For the longest time I was hard on myself for making the wrong decisions and taking on so much debt. But it came down to be understanding that I wasn't the only one dealing with this stuff. For many of us this knowledge wasn't passed down. However, it's also been important for me to understand the why behind many behaviors. I hope this episode was helpful in reflecting in your own financial journey and understanding some of those behaviors!

Hola todos! Today's episode is a little more personal, I talk about the struggles that I have faced because of my mom's deportation and how it led me to take on family responsibilities from a young age. Now being in my twenties this has evolved into other responsibilities, and almost turning into a 3rd parent having to take on the pressure of building the financial security blanket for my family. I know that there are other ways in which our families depend on us, and many times take a toll on our health. So I also talk about what has helped me along the way. Although I am still struggling with this, I hope that this can help someone else feel less alone in their struggles. Especially those of us that are dealing with separated families.
Thank you and love you all!

Hola todos!! Hope you've all been well! Today's episode I'm deep diving into the First Gen Latina conversation that's been happening on TikTok in regards to the overuse of the term and how using the identity to build your brand can be harmful if not used without awareness. This is an interesting conversation as there continues to be more Latina content creators and how we learn to navigate this space. Would love to hear what you think about it, so make sure you check out Instagram and TikTok @cansadaperoconganas.

Hola todos! Welcome back for episode 2, where I talk about life after graduation and the post-grad blues. We spend so long getting excited for this moment, but then what? There's so much uncertainty that comes after this monumental moment and I personally has struggled a lot to get though it. My biggest thing is reality vs. expectations with post-grad, come to find out its not always sunshine and flowers. But I'm figuring it out as I go. I hope this resonates with anyone else that is or has struggled with these emotions being post-grad.
