Plot Matrix is a follow-along screenwriting podcast hosted by collaborators Brian Smail III and Jackson Casimiro. Over the course of a season we discuss characters, plot, and themes to develop a movie idea into a script. Listeners are invited into the writersβ room with available script downloads, polls, and call-ins. As a screenplay is taking shape, we start developing pitching materials, pulling references for cast, locations, and imagery. And with a finished script and deck, hopefully it sells to a studio.
On this episode we lay all our cards out, and share the basic three act structure of our movie. This is just a rough outline that should organize our future conversations. We even share how it ends! Not clickbait!
