Who really is Christ? John 1 calls Him the Word of God and the Life and Light. Paul says in Colossians 1:15-18 NLT - "Christ is the visible image of the invisible God. He existed before anything was created and is supreme over all creation, for through him God created everything in the heavenly realms and on earth. He made the things we can see and the things we can’t see— such as thrones, kingdoms, rulers, and authorities in the unseen world. Everything was created through him and for him. He existed before anything else, and he holds all creation together."

In this episode, we throw more light on the earthly man and the heavenly man. We also look at Christ and the church and the eternal plan of God in Christ for all things.
"So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them." (Genesis 1:27)
"Then the LORD God formed a man from the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living being." (Genesis 2:7)
In this episode of A Walk Through The Bible, we discuss why God formed man out of the dust even after God had created man, male and famale, and His eternal plan in Christ Jesus. We explain God's Speaking Spirit, God's Creating Spirit and God's Revealing Spirit and how the Godhead works.
Genesis 1 is not just a story about creation. It's a story of God's divine plan for everything. It's a story about God's nature and character. It's a story about a GOOD Speaking Spirit.
It's a story about the spiritual and the earthly. In this episode, we look at all that Genesis 1 is about. God is speaking. He has been speaking about Himself and His divine plan through Christ even in creation.
Could it be that God didn't create this earth and this heaven to be forever?
In Revelation 21 verse 1, John says, "Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea."
Why did God gather the waters and called it "sea" and why won't there be no more sea in the new heaven and the new earth.
Could it be that all that we can observe are shadows of spiritual realities showing us the things that are? In this episode, we look at all that and more.

“Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.And God saw the light, that it was good; and God divided the light from the darkness. God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. So the evening and the morning were the first day. - Genesis 1:3-4
- What brings light?
The Word of God is what brings light. In fact, it’s who brings light. In the previous episode I explained that God is a Speaking Spirit. He speaks. His Word brings light, and He will always speak light into a situation before filling it as seen in Genesis 1:2.
John 1:1-5 tells us that, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.”
In the Word of God is life, and that life is our light, and that light overcomes darkness. No matter the situation we find ourselves, or the darkness around us, the Word of God can overcome it if we will look for what God is saying about that situation. God speaks, and He is speaking about our situation.
- What does light bring?
A. Light brings vision and vision defines purpose.
Matthew 6:19-22 tells us, “Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. “The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!
How do eyes work? - We are able to see because light reflects off an object that we are looking at and enters the eye.
The Word of God shines light unto our situation and that light enters us as we behold those things and our whole body becomes full of light.
B. Light is how darkness is overcome
“The light shines in darkness, and darkness can not overcome it”. Remember in the previous episode, we said that darkness brings fear and terror, and evil. But when light appears in darkness, there is vision, peace, joy and strength to work.
Key Question:
Knowing that light is this important, why did God separate light from darkness and call it “Day and Night” and not create a world where there is no darkness at all?
I believe that Jesus answers it in John 9:4. Jesus said, “I must work the works of Him who sent Me while it is day; the night is coming when no one can work.”
Jesus tells us that there is a work time and there is a time no one can work. God Himself rested after working and that’s how He created the universe - to allow man to work and to allow man to rest. The Devil knows this. He knows that man was created to work and rest. So, he targets when man is not working to do his evil works. And, God shows this by separating light from darkness or day from night. God shows this through the day and the night to show there is a difference between the works of men of the light and the works of men of darkness.
Paul tells the church at Corinth that, “Do not be unequally yok
"And God said..."
In this episode, we look at the Speaking Spirit and the authority of His Word. We explain how God expresses Himself through His Word and His Spirit, and how God first deals with darkness before He fills the earth with anything else.

This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit that beareth witness, because the Spirit is truth. For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Spirit; and these three are one. And there are three that bear witness on earth: the Spirit, the water, and the blood; and these three agree as one.

But they deliberately forget that long ago by God’s word the heavens came into being and the earth was formed out of water and by water.

Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing by “water of the word”.
In the book, The Grand Design, Stephen Hawking argues that the Big Bang, rather than occurring following the intervention of a divine being, was inevitable due to the law of gravity.
Hawking believes that ”Because there is a law such as gravity, the universe can and will create itself from nothing," even though in his 1988 book, A Brief History of Time, Hawking had seemed to accept the role of God in the creation of the universe.
This big-bang which scientists describe as a single hot point called the “singularity” exploded 13.8 billion light years ago. Essentially, all the matter and energy in the Universe are packed into this single point.
Before the big-bang, there was no time, no space, no matter. If something has mass and occupies space that is matter. What was gravity if gravity is the force of attraction between objects with mass. This is where the Stephen Hawking’s argument break down and stop giving any logical answers.
Three questions:
- Can energy be self-created? 1st Law of Thermodynamics states that energy cannot be created or destroyed.
- Where then did the energy that caused the Big Bang come from? - Some scientists think that the Big Bang isn’t the beginning after all. Cosmic inflation is. A MULTIVERSE OR A UNIVERSE?
- What caused this cosmic inflation then?
No matter how one explains a universe based on causation, there will always be an uncaused cause at the beginning. That uncaused cause can’t be nothing. Something must self-exist. But is that the universe, a multiverse or God?
Is the case against God based on logic or science? Is believing in God justified?
