The Little Voices Podcast is a student-led project at the University of Nevada, Reno (UNR). From clubs on campus, student businesses, and community members outside of the university, we’re dedicated to sharing diverse stories from UNR students, and community members.
After filing a lawsuit against the University of Nevada, Reno Title IX office in 2022, Dr. Feifei Fan’s allegations gained media attention when her GoFundMe went live last October. Now, student group UNR Stands with Survivors is looking to make a change in university procedures.

Wyatt Layland, a co-founder of Bring Affordable Student Housing to Reno (BASH Reno), speaks on the housing crisis that many students are facing. From homeless students to personal experiences, Layland shares how much the rising costs of housing is affecting students. BASH Reno is here to empower students to share their stories, and take a more active role in the upcoming legislative session.
