Michael Mark Cohen is an Associate Teaching Professor of American Studies and African American Studies at UC Berkeley. He is the author of The Conspiracy of Capital: Law, Violence and American Popular Radicalism in the Age of Monopoly (UMass Press, 2019) https://www.umasspress.com/9781625344014/the-conspiracy-of-capital/ , and the creator of the website www.cartooningcapitalism.com which collects the work of Art Young and other early 20th century radical cartoonists. The child of two school teachers, he was born in Denver, Colorado and educated at CU Boulder and Yale University.
