The Christian life is lived in a world that is hostile to the Gospel, to Jesus, and to Biblical truth. We don’t have to go it alone, don’t need to go it alone, and we really can’t go it alone. Just as Jesus left heaven and came to earth to died on a cross to forgive us of our sin and make us a part of his family, we need to get into community groups so we can link arm to arm with other believers as we walk through life together.

You cannot be light on the outside, until you have light on the inside. Everybody in this world is either in the light or they are in the dark. Jesus came to die on a cross for our sins, to take care of the darkness of sin and death, and to come out of the grave three days later so He could be to us the light of the world. Is your flashlight on? If you have Jesus in your heart, your flashlight must be on!

You can try religion, righteousness, rules, and rituals, but that is just a soft reset that won’t get you anywhere. What you need is a hard reset, a new start, a new heart, and a new life. You need a spiritual birth certificate and there is one available for you today.

The reason Jesus did not condemn the woman in this story is because he was about to go to the cross and be condemned Himself for this woman. Jewish law was clearshe deserved death, but Jesus declared, Neither do I condemn you. But, he continues on and says, Go now and leave your life of sin. He provided grace and truth together in perfect balance, and He is ready to provide that for you today.

Jesus clearly and carefully tells us in John 8 we will know THE truth. Not a truth or some truth, but THE TRUTH. If ultimate truth comes from God, it can never change because God never changes, and it can never be wrong because God is never wrong. The only way you will ever know the truth of God is to personally know Jesus, who is the true savior. Come to know Jesus personally today and experience first-hand THE truth that will set you free!

There are 3 things you must do with this wonderful story from the book of Luke. First, you must see yourself the way you really area sinner in need of grace. Second, you must see others the way they areno worse than you and no better than you, yet all needing grace. And thirdly, you must see Jesus the way He isalways full of grace and willing to provide you the grace you need to overcome your sin issues. Jesus made it abundantly plain that both lawmakers and lawbreakers are equally in need of grace and forgiveness.

Perhaps there are 2 kinds of peopletruthers and gracers. Some lean hard into truth at the expense of grace where other focus on grace at the expense of truth. Jesus said we are to be full of grace AND truth. (John 1:14) With Jesus, grace and truth are joined at the hip and always in perfect balance. He never shared grace at the expense of truth, and He never spoke truth at the expense of grace. He was perfectly balanced, and we are to follow His example.

You can do a lot of things on this earth. You can be hugely successful, and you can become rich and famous. There are many things you can do on earth to bring you glory from other people. However, the only life that truly matters is the one that glorifies God.

When you love God and you show your love to God by obeying His commands, Jesus plainly says this will lead to true fellowship with God. Nothing will make you feel more at home with Jesus than when you love Him by obeying Him.

You cannot love God until you love Jesus. If we love Jesus the way we should, then we truly love God the way we should. And when we love God the way we should, we will love other the way we should.

The first thing God wants from us is faith. You cannot please God without faith because you cannot know God without faith. God sent His son Jesus to earth so we could not only believe in God but also know God, please God, and pursue God. So please Believe Me when I say the only way to live on this side of heaven is to live a life of full of faith in God.

There were three crosses that day on Calvary when Jesus was crucified for our sin. The man on the right of Jesus died to sin, and the man on the left of Jesus died in sin. You have a choice of which person you will be. You can recover from a wasted life, but you cannot recover from a wasted death. Make the right choice to accept Jesus today.

We have confidence in the Father's hope of not just our spirit being deposited in His hands, but also of those same hands taking that spirit and placing it into a resurrected body that will love Him and live with Him forever. You can't be ready to live until you are ready to die, and you are not ready to die until you die in God's hands.
