When the workmen had finished making the parts of the tabernacle, they brought everything to Moses ( Exodus 39:32-43) ; and Moses set up the structure, just one year after the Isrealites had departed from Egypt ( 40:17) He carefully assembled every piece as directed, each article of furniture in its exact position. when all was done, a wonderful thing happened: God came down and filled the tabernacle with His glory. He had kept His word given earlier ( cf.25:8) , and from that time on He would speak to them not from the fiery Mount Sinai, but from the hallowed taberbernacle.
Four words summarize the narrative chapters32-34: Sin, Judgment, Intercession, Renewal. The cycle represented by the four words noted above was a constantly recurring sequence in Israel's history from this time forward. After coming to the place of renewal, the people would move back to the dwellings of sin again- and the cycle would repeat itself. That Israel was not ever utterly consumed is explained only by the mercy of God and by the ministry of prophets, judges, and, men likeMoses who pleaded with God in behalf of their brethrens.
The call of God is not just for the fivefold ministries noted in Ephesians 4:11: The apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers. God speaks to all us.There are many types of ways that God call us, But unfortunately everyone will not answer His call. I'm going to talk about two ways that God calls us. God calls us to Salvation and Service/Vocation. When we say yes to the call of God, there are benefits as well as requirements that come with the call. Count the Cost!
The Ten Commandments of 20:1-17 are foundational and all-inclusive. IDOLATRY AT SINAI 32:1 -34:35) We are bypassing chapters 25-31 at this time so that they may be studied last, in connection with the other chapter (35-40) ABOUT THE TABERNACLE.
The people's sin was of the worst kind: spiritual idolatry and corruption ( 32:1-6). God judgment was consuming, declared by a jealous Lord (32:7-10). Moses' intercession was desperate, appealing to God's mercy. And the consequent renewal of fellowship between Israel and Gods was conditional upon the people's repentance for sin and determination to obey the words of the covenant. The cycle represented by the four words noted above was a constantly recurring sequence in Israel's history from this time forward.
Law Given AT Sinal (19:124:18) This is the section of Exodus which contains the familiar Ten Commandments. Chapter 19 begin the last half of the book which we have called worship ( Chart 15 ) . Worship is intimately related to law. For, to worship is to acknowledge a higher authority, and there is no authority where there is no law. So after God delivered His people from bondage, He began to spell out in detail how they should worship Him publicly, privately, and even in everyday living. These instructions were His laws. There importance to Israel is seen by the space devoted to them in the Pentateuch:about half of Exodus, most of Leviticus, the first part of Numbers, and much of Deuteronomy.
AND GOD SPAKE ALL THESE WORDS SAYINGS , I AM THE LORD THY GOD ,WHICH HAVE BROUGHT THEE OUT OF THE LAND OF EGYPT , OF EGYPT, OUT OF THE HOUSE OF BONDAGE. THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME.

The night of the Passover sacrifices was a turning point in the history of Israel . It was the beginning of a new era for the people of God ,who had multiplied in number and now were about to be redeemed from the clutches of their oppressor. A new calendar was instituted, and the Israelites's experience was to be annually commemorated as a permanent ordinance .When the deep spiritual significance of the Passover is seen, one can well understand God's design in assigning crisis, pathos , awe , pageantry and memorial status to the events beginning at the stroke of midnight.

God fulfilled His ancient promise to Abraham by multiplying his descendants into a great nation, redeeming them from the land of bondage, and renewing the covenant of grace with them on a national basis. At the foot of the holy mountain He bestows on them the promises of the covenant, and provides them with a rule of conduct by which they may lead a holy life, and also with a sanctuary in which they may make offerings for sin and renew fellowship with Him on the basis of forgiving grace.
?In Galatians 4:11, the apostle Paul felt this way when he wrote, " I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labor in vain ." He had spoken courageously, eloquently, and consistently. Yet, he felt useless at times. " I encourge you to wait for change concerning your assignment." Waiting for change is proof of your faith
The book of Exodus reports the first of God's deliverances of Israel, as He had promised Abraham. This second book of the Pentateuch picks up the story where Genesis left it, and so it is its sequel. In Genesis the divine purpose is revealed, and in Exodus the divine performance is exhibited. This deliverance from bondage was a crucial event in the experience of the Isralites. Centuries later, many authors of the prophetic books and Psalms acclaimed it as the most significant miracle in their history. The deliverance is a beautiful type of the sinner's redemption from the bondage of sin. Thus Exodus is rightly called the "Book of Redemption."
?The first five words of the Bible are very appropriate introduction: In the beginning God created,' This was the first moment of time as we know it, and the coming into being of the universe. God had no beginning, for He existed from eternity, but this was the first work He did outside of Himself, The opening subject of the orgin in Genesis is a clue as to what we may expect to read in the reminder of the book. Genesis is a book of beginnings, a revelation written by the only one qualified to write it- God.

Observation- seeing what the text says
Interpretation- determining what the text means

Other names given to this method are synthesis, overview, panoramic study, skysraper view.
God has a specific assignment for each born again Believer. In Ephesians 2, the Apostle Paul makes it clear that we are saved by God's grace through faith; and not of ourselves; it is the gift of God. This was manifested by the love God has for His people-the world (John 3:16). He found a way for man to be redeemed back to Himself through Christ Jesus.Jesus had as assignment to lay down his life for others can have an opportunity to receive eternal life. However, Divine Revelation in the life of a believer plays a very important part of his or her destiny. There are four aspects that brings fruition to the assignment:Faith, Fact, Time, and Truth.

Why Study The Old Testament
The Old Testament has had the widest acclaim of all writings in the fields of literature, history, and religion. Jew, Muslims, and Christians find their beginnings in the Old Testament. It continues to attract and challenge the keenest scholars and meet the needs of even the humblest of every generation.
There are many compelling reasons why every Christain should study the Old Testament.
The Old Testament is promise and expectation, the New is fulfilment and completion. The Old is the marshalling of the hosts to the battle of God, the new is the Triumph of the Crucified One. The Old is the twilight and dawn of morning, the New is the rising sun and the height of eternal day.
The Old Testament is mainly history, but it is sacred history, That is, it reveals especially how God moves in and through the lives of people and the courses of nations. We might also say that the Old Testament is redemptive history, for " God" actively directs human history for the purpose of redeeming men to Himself.
John 4:7- 10
There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her , Give me to drink.
For his disciples were gone away unto the city to buy meat.
Then saith the woman of Samaria unto him, How is it that thou, being a Jew, askest drink of me, which am a woman of Samaria ? for the Jews have no dealings with the Samaritans.
Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, andhe would have given thee living water.
John 14: 1-6
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.

And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also,
And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know..
Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way ?
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
WHY STUDY THE OLD TESTAMENT ?
There are many compelling reasons why every christian should study the Old Testament. Consider the following:
A. The Bible is incomplete without the Old Testament
Both Old and New Testaments makes up the inspired Scripture. The Testament was never intended to replace the Old Testament. Intead, the New was given to complement the Old, to complete its story. For example, the Old prophesies the coming of the Redeemer; the New reports the fulfillment of the old Testament origins, heir of its promises. fruit of its seed, the peak of its mountain.
B.The ministry of christ would be an enigma without the Old Testament
For example, why did Jesus say, " I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel " Matthew 15:24
James 3:1-12 ; Genesis 1:1-31
God fashioned people in His image and His likeness. This was done by His magnificence handy-work. God is a Spirit and He spoke everything He created into existence by words! Words are spirit. Words are vital. Since we are made in God image and likeness, we are spiritual beings who possess power in our words.Out of all of the parts of human body , the tongue, cannnot be tame by no man; it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison. Death and life are in the power of the tongue. This is why it's so importat that we say what God says

Within seconds, media outlets across the world rushed to prepare tributes to the entertainer. Bob Hope's daughter Linda had quite a different perspective. She immediately phoned news agencies to deny the report. At her home in Pasadena, Califoria, Linda was watching her father eat breakfast.
The women in the passage in John had a different perspective on Jesus's death. It hard to imagine the emotions of the women who saw Jesus after his resurrection. They had witnessed his slow, agonizing death on the cross. Some of them had watched Joseph of Arimathea wrap his body in linen and place it in the tomb. When Jesus first appeared to the women, they must have wondered- were they dreaming now, or had the past few days just been a nightmare ? Jesus came to them in a body that they could touch, yet he could appear and disappear at will. The women's ecstasy must have exceeded anything they had ever experience, a deep joy that would stay with them for the rest of their lives.

Remember that anger stems from fear and a sense of helplessness. Some important value or goal is threatened and you feel that you are losing conctrol of the situation. You may not want to admit feeling hurt or fear. ( You may think such an admission is a sign of weakness.) Yet these are the underlying feeling that will help you identify which values and goals are being threatened. The real threat may not be the surface issue (being late to the movie) as much as the underlying issue (not being important to someone you love or bring mistreated). Identifying emotion of fearand hurt will open the door to these underlying issues. Once you get in touch with the fear and hurt, What images, throughts, and underlying issues are associated with {cause} them?
If you have a persistent problem with anger, then you either have important underlying issues that you have not resolved, or you are using emotional coping methods that are ineffective..There are many internal and external methods for coping with anger. Many methods that help with any negative emotion also help with anger. Perceived loss of control for getting important values met causes anger. To get over your anger, it is helpfuil to identify those importat values and to understand why you may lack confidence in your own ability to be happy.
People have often been told to deny or suppress the dark and undesirable side of their personalities. The results, says well-known psychiatrist Dwight L. Carlson, is the emotionally crippled personality that is the most vulnerable of all. What if you didn't have to experience the numerous emotional and physical problems that anger causes? Instead, by confronting and learning to cope with your feeling and negative emotions, you could experience liberation and fulfillment and come to enjoy the riches of God 's mercy and grace in greater ways than ever before.

Key Verse: Hebrew 2:18
For in that he himself haith suffered being tempted, he is able to succor them that are tempted(KJV).
Introducing the Study
It is not long before new Christian learn that following Christ has many challenges. Jesus never suggested that following Him would be easy. He noted that temptation would be normal to their lives (Luke 11:4). Although temptation is common to the Christian's experience, God provides a way of escape.
The New Testament reveals that Jesus was tempted just as we are. Unlike us, He completely triumphed in the face of temptation.
