Dr Lorna Treanor explores the influence of gender upon entrepreneurial behaviour, experiences and outcomes. Through entrepreneurs’ stories and the latest research, Lorna keeps you up-to-date with ’the GEN’ on all things Gender & Entrepreneurship. The podcast launches with a series of interviews with entrepreneurial STEMM women - both academic entrepreneurs and private-sector entrepreneurs who availed of business incubation services (incubator or accelerator programmes) to develop their businesses. The production of this interview series was facilitated by a Small Research Grant awarded by the British Academy and Leverhulme Trust for Lorna’s project ’Promoting Women’s Entrepreneurship in Science-related Subjects’ which aimed to profile potential STEMM women role models while highlighting the supports and challenges faced by women in STEMM entrepreneurship.
