Hey, everyone. Pratiti Pathak here. Welcome to "Unpacking Brain Drama", where we talk about real life experiences, the challenges and the obstacles. Sometimes we use them to block ourselves. Sometimes we use them to grow and evolve. Here's what I want to say. Obstacles are not the things that are blocking our path.Obstacles are the path. So in other words, We have to grow through what we go through. So join me as we have some amazing conversations with some amazing guests.
Self-Leadership Audit — When You’re the Shark, the Suckerfish, and the Parasite
In this empowering episode of Unpacking Brain Drama, host Pratiti Pathak dives deep into a powerful leadership metaphor from Walter Bond’s bestselling book Swim: the Shark, the Suckerfish, and the Parasite—three archetypes that live within all of us and shape how we show up in life and business.
The Shark represents decisive ownership, clarity, and direction—the part of you that knows where you’re going and takes full responsibility for getting there. The Suckerfish symbolizes healthy partnerships and collaboration—the mentors, allies, and accountability relationships that amplify your strengths and accelerate momentum. And the Parasite reveals the habits, patterns, and relationships that drain your focus, energy, and confidence unless you create boundaries to protect your vision.
Pratiti invites you to take a Self-Leadership Audit to identify which archetype is running your day—and whether it’s helping you swim forward or keeping you treading water. Through relatable stories, practical examples, and powerful reflection questions, you’ll learn how to:
This episode is a mirror, a guide, and a call to action. You’ll walk away with a 7-Day Leadership Challenge to design your week with intention—choosing one simple shift for each role:
As Pratiti reminds us, true leaders aren’t just managing others—they’re mastering their internal ecosystem. By the end, you’ll see that self-leadership isn’t about doing more; it’s about leading your thoughts, time, and energy on purpose.
✨ Key Takeaways:
Whether you’re leading a team, a business, or your own transformation, this conversation will help you rise above default mode and create Results by Design.
🎧 Tune in, reflect, and join the challenge.
Because leadership starts with you—and it’s time to swim with intention.

There’s No Such Thing as Right or Wrong – From Judgment to Freedom: What Really Guides Our Choices
How many times have you stressed over making the right decision? Or beat yourself up because you thought you made the wrong one?
In this episode of Unpacking Brain Drama, I explore a powerful idea from Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch: there is no such thing as right or wrong — only what serves your growth, and what doesn’t.
Most of us grew up with right versus wrong drilled into us. Right meant approval, belonging, being “good.” Wrong meant punishment, rejection, or shame. Over time, those rules shaped how we judged ourselves and others — keeping us stuck in comparison, people-pleasing, and fear of failure.
But what if “wrong” doesn’t exist? What if every decision you’ve ever made was actually the best decision you could have made with the tools you had at the time? And what if looking back and thinking, “I did it wrong,” only means that today you have more awareness than you did then?
💡 In this episode, you’ll learn:
I’ll also share personal stories of how I was once labeled the “black sheep” or the “rebel,” and how what others judged as “wrong” in me became my strength and truth. Plus, you’ll hear examples from my coaching clients who struggled with fear of judgment in meetings, people-pleasing in relationships, and the pressure to always do things “the right way.”
✨ Takeaway: When you release judgment, you release fear. Judgment is just fear wearing a mask. Replacing it with curiosity, awareness, and compassion brings you closer to love — and closer to your highest self.
So the next time you catch yourself asking, “Am I right or am I wrong?” pause and instead ask, “Does this serve me? Does this serve my growth?” That one question can shift you from judgment to freedom.
🎧 Tune in now to learn how to release the heavy weight of right and wrong, and step into the freedom of curiosity, self-compassion, and intentional living.

Most people think the opposite of love is hate. But what if the true opposite of love is fear?
In this episode of Unpacking Brain Drama, I explore one of the most profound insights from Conversations with God by Neale Donald Walsch: that every human action stems from either love or fear. We’ll dive into what this really means — not just spiritually, but biologically and emotionally — and how these two states shape every choice, thought, and reaction we have.
💜 You’ll discover:
This conversation goes deeper than surface-level positivity. It challenges the patterns we’ve been taught since childhood — the conditioning that love is conditional and fear is safer. You’ll see how biology and upbringing have wired you toward fear, and how awareness can begin to rewire you toward love.
✨ Takeaway: The next time you catch yourself in judgment, comparison, or blame — pause and ask: Am I choosing from fear, or am I choosing from love? That one question can interrupt autopilot and bring you back into alignment with your truest self.
And because transformation happens when you move from awareness into practice, I’ve created a free companion worksheet: “Fear or Love? A Self-Reflection Guide.” It’s filled with journaling prompts, body-awareness check-ins, and a simple exercise to help you catch fear in the moment and shift back to love.
At the end of the day, love and fear aren’t just emotions. They’re the foundation of every choice you make. Love expands your life. Fear contracts it. And the best part? You always get to choose.

In this episode of Unpacking Brain Drama, I’m inviting you to explore a powerful shift—one that’s changed the way I live, coach, and create results in my life. It’s the idea of sufficiency—not just as a mindset, but as a daily practice.
We’re so often caught in the loop of “not enough.”
Not enough time. Not enough money. Not enough progress. Not enough me.
But what if we could interrupt that pattern and learn to live from the truth that we are already enough?
In today’s episode, I walk you through five practical and deeply empowering ways to embody sufficiency every single day:
This isn’t about settling or playing small.
It’s about creating from abundance instead of chasing worthiness.
It’s about making choices that align with your values and support your nervous system, not burn it out.
And it’s about remembering that sufficiency is the doorway to peace, clarity, and purpose.
If you’re tired of striving and ready to reconnect with your own enoughness, this episode is for you.
Let’s stop chasing and start choosing—intentionally, powerfully, and with grace.
✨ You are enough. You have enough. You do enough.
And I’m here to remind you what that life can look and feel like.

Why Bother?
We’ve all had those moments when the questions hit hard: Why bother? What’s the point? Who am I trying to impress? Who am I trying to convince? When the weight of life feels heavy, when things feel too hard, when you’re tired of pushing through — it’s easy to wonder if any of it matters.
In this episode of Unpacking Brain Drama, Pratiti Pathak takes you on a powerful exploration of these questions and reframes them in a way that brings hope, clarity, and purpose. Because “why bother?” isn’t a dead end — it’s an invitation to look deeper.
Inside this episode, you’ll discover:
Pratiti shares her own journey of resilience — not just because she got through loss and adversity, but because she learned to lean on herself, to draw from inner strength, to love and trust herself even in the hardest seasons. The pride isn’t in surviving; it’s in who she became in spite of the challenges.
“Why bother?” becomes a doorway to a deeper truth: you bother because you are worth it. Because your growth matters. Because every step you take toward loving yourself unconditionally is a step toward freedom and fulfillment.
This isn’t about pretending life isn’t hard. It’s about choosing to create meaning, to nurture compassion, and to honor your journey as sacred — even when it hurts.
If you’ve been feeling tired, defeated, or stuck in the cycle of asking “what’s the point?” — this episode will remind you of the power within you to keep going, not out of obligation, but out of love.
Tune in, and rediscover why your journey, your healing, and your becoming truly matter.

Episode – "Scarcity vs Sufficiency" Transforming Your Relationship With Money
Do you ever feel like no matter how much you have, it never feels like enough? That’s the voice of scarcity—a mindset that keeps us anxious, fearful, and constantly striving for more. Scarcity tells us that resources are limited, that someone else’s gain is our loss, and that peace will only come once we “finally get there.”
But there’s another way to live—through sufficiency.
In this episode of Unpacking Brain Drama, Pratiti Pathak explores the powerful shift from scarcity to sufficiency, inspired by Lynne Twist’s The Soul of Money. Sufficiency isn’t about how much money is in your bank account. It’s not about settling or lowering your standards. It’s about stepping into a mindset of “enough”—the deep knowing that what you have, right now, is sufficient to live fully, love deeply, and create intentionally.
Inside this conversation, you’ll discover:
Scarcity is heavy—it drains your energy and keeps you small. But sufficiency? Sufficiency is freedom. It’s peace. It’s the spaciousness to live from love instead of fear, from alignment instead of anxiety.
If you’ve ever caught yourself saying, “I don’t have enough,” this episode is your invitation to reframe that story and step into the truth: you already are enough, and you already have enough to create the life you desire.
Tune in and learn how sufficiency can transform not just your relationship with money, but your relationship with yourself, others, and the Divine.

160 - Action Audit
Have you ever felt like you’re doing all the things—working hard, staying busy, putting in effort—yet somehow the results you want just aren’t showing up? It’s not because you’re lazy. It’s not because you’re broken. It’s because not all actions create the same results. And sometimes, the very actions we repeat the most are the ones keeping us stuck.
That’s where an Action Audit comes in.
In this episode of Unpacking Brain Drama, Pratiti Pathak introduces a powerful tool that helps you pause and take inventory of the actions you’re taking, so you can see clearly which ones are moving you forward, which ones are keeping you busy but stagnant, and which ones may actually be holding you back.
Drawing from both coaching experience and personal practice, Pratiti walks you through:
The Action Audit is not about judging yourself or feeling guilty for what hasn’t worked. It’s about awareness. It’s about shining a light on your daily patterns so you can stop wasting precious energy and start directing it toward what actually matters.
Whether you’re an entrepreneur, a parent, a professional, or simply someone who wants to live with more intention, this episode will give you the tools to stop spinning in circles and start building momentum.
Your actions are creating your current results. The question is: are they the results you want?
It’s time to find out.

159 - The Power of Pause
In a world where our reactions often get the best of us, there’s a simple yet transformative practice that can completely shift how we communicate, connect, and lead our lives:
The Power of Pause.
In this episode of Unpacking Brain Drama, Pratiti Pathak dives into the life-changing practice of taking intentional pauses before reacting, speaking, or making decisions. Whether you’re navigating high-conflict relationships, co-parenting, going through a painful breakup or divorce, managing stress at work, or dealing with challenging family dynamics, learning to pause gives you back your power.
Most of us have been conditioned to react immediately—defend ourselves, explain ourselves, prove appoint, or push back when emotions run high. But those knee-jerk reactions often create more drama, regret, and disconnection than we want. The pause interrupts that cycle. It allows us to step back, regulate our emotions, and respond with clarity and intention instead of default patterns.
This is exactly what Pratiti teaches her clients in sessions: how to notice the space between stimulus and response, and how to use that space to create better results in every area of life.
The pause isn’t weakness—it’s wisdom. It’s strength. It’s the bridge between who you’ve been and
who you want to become.
Inside this episode, you’ll discover:
· Why pausing before responding is one of the most powerful communication tools you can practice.
· How pausing strengthens relationships at home, at work, and in the community.
· Practical ways to use the pause when emotions run high—so you don’t say or do something you'll later regret.
· How the pause helps rewire your brain to operate from your highest self, rather than old habits or reactive patterns.
· The deeper connection between pausing and living a more intentional, conscious, and fulfilling life.
Imagine pausing before sending that heated email. Pausing before reacting to a difficult familymember. Pausing before responding to a boss or colleague. Pausing before speaking to your partner in the middle of an argument. That brief moment can change everything. It can transform conflict into understanding, defensiveness into compassion, and impulsive choices into intentional action.
The Power of Pause is not about silence or suppression. It’s about choosing alignment over reactivity, grace over drama, and wisdom over impulse. It’s about honoring yourself, your relationships, and your future by slowing down long enough to choose how you want to show up.
If you’ve ever found yourself saying, “I wish I didn’t say that” or “I wish I had handled that differently,” this episode is for you. The pause is your tool for freedom, growth, and authentic connection.
Tune in, and let’s explore how one small practice can completely transform your communication, your relationships, and your results in life.

158 – Time Creation: How to Design the Hours You’ve Been Wishing For
If you’ve ever said, “I just don’t have time,” this episode will change the way you think forever.
Time isn’t something you find—it’s something you create. In this transformative episode of Unpacking Brain Drama, Certified Resilience Coach Pratiti Pathak reveals her proven Time Creation Method to help you design 1–5 extra hours in your day without working later, sacrificing self-care, or burning out.
You’ll discover why we treat time just like money—using it, spending it, wasting it, and investing it—and how that mindset can either drain your days or compound them into a life you love. You’ll learn to spot and seal the “time leaks” in your day, shift from reactive to intentional, and start treating every minute as an investment in your future.
Inside this episode:
By the end, you’ll have the tools to reclaim your hours, focus on what matters most, and feel more in control of your life than ever before.
Your time is your most valuable asset—let’s make sure you’re investing it wisely.

“When You Take Responsibility and Others Don’t”
Have you ever felt like you’re the only one doing the work?
You’re journaling, reflecting, shifting your thoughts, applying tools like the CTFAR model, and intentionally choosing your responses… and then you look around and realize the people closest to you aren’t doing any of it. They’re still reacting, blaming, avoiding, or getting caught up in the same old patterns — and suddenly you feel like you’re living in two completely different worlds.
In this transformative episode of Unpacking Brain Drama, Pratiti Pathak dives deep into the emotional friction that happens when your personal growth outpaces the growth of the people around you. She explores why this can feel so lonely at times, why you might find yourself wondering, “Why do I always have to be the one to take the high road?”, and how you can turn this frustration into one of the most powerful forms of emotional freedom you’ll ever experience.
You’ll discover:
Pratiti will guide you through a mindset shift that will completely reframe the way you view responsibility. You’ll learn how to stop seeing it as a burden or an obligation, and start seeing it as the ultimate path to peace and self-trust.
Taking radical responsibility for your thoughts, emotions, and actions doesn’t mean tolerating poor behavior, pretending everything is okay, or excusing harmful patterns. It means refusing to outsource your emotional life to circumstances you can’t control. It means letting go of the belief that other people need to change before you can feel okay. It means choosing who you want to be in every moment — regardless of how anyone else is showing up.
This episode is your reminder that your peace is worth protecting, your growth is worth the discomfort, and your future self will thank you for every single time you chose alignment over ego, freedom over fairness, and compassion over control.
If you’ve ever struggled with resentment, frustration, or fatigue in your relationships while doing the deep inner work, this conversation will help you anchor into your own power. You’ll walk away knowing exactly how to navigate the loneliness that sometimes comes with growth — and how to transform it into a source of strength, clarity, and unshakable peace.
Because at the end of the day, you’re not taking responsibility for them. You’re taking responsibility for you — and that’s the most powerful, liberating choice you can ever make.
Press play now and step into the freedom that comes from owning your mindset, your energy, and your life.

Addiction to Our Body's Chemical Cocktail
In this episode of Unpacking Brain Drama, we challenge the way we think about habits—and what they really are. We’re not just talking about routines. We’re talking about emotional addiction.
Not to substances—but to overthinking, blame, people-pleasing, conflict, even victimhood. These patterns aren’t just mental—they’re biochemical. Because every thought you repeat releases a chemical in your body, and over time, your nervous system becomes addicted to that emotional signature—even if it’s painful.
We explore:
This episode is an invitation to see your habits for what they truly are: conditioned responses your body learned to survive. And the good news? What was wired in can be wired out.
You're not broken. You're just ready to break the loop.

Sexual Energy, Creative Power, and the Untapped Fuel Within
Welcome to another transformative episode of Unpacking Brain Drama with Pratiti Pathak.
This episode is not about sex. It’s about the raw, life-generating, deeply creative force that lives inside every one of us—sexual energy.
When channeled consciously, this energy becomes a source of unshakable confidence, clarity, and flow. But when suppressed—through shame, fear, or conditioning—it leads to burnout, numbness, creative blocks, and disconnection from your true self.
In this episode, we explore:
If you’ve been feeling uninspired, emotionally flat, or like you’re just going through the motions—this conversation offers a new lens. One that invites you to reclaim the energy that was always yours.
The energy that created you… is still in you.
And when you stop blocking what was meant to move through you—
you don’t just feel better.
You feel alive.

Visualization, or mental imagery, leverages the brain's neuroplasticity, allowing it to form new connections in response to both real and imagined experiences. This means that when you visualize an activity, your brain strengthens the neural pathways associated with that activity, a process known as "mental rehearsal". This can lead to improved performance in various tasks, including sports, public speaking, and even stress management. Emotional Influence:

These patterns are driven by an internal "thermostat" that restricts the amount of success, happiness, or love a person allows themselves to experience. The subconscious mind often triggers behaviors or thoughts to return to a more "comfortable" level when approaching or exceeding this limit. Visit me on Facebook:

🎙️ Unpacking Brain Drama – Episode: Stop Lying to Yourself
Host: Pratiti Pathak | Resilience & Life Coach
We’ve all said it: “I don’t have time.” “I’ll do it later.” “It’s not the right moment.”
But what if those aren’t truths... they're just comfortable lies?
In this episode, Pratiti challenges the hidden self-deceptions that quietly hold us back — from growth, healing, and the life we’re meant to lead.
In this episode:
Whether you're navigating change, feeling stuck, or striving for more — this is your call to step into honesty and power.
Ready to stop lying and start living?
Tune in now. 🎧
🎙️ Episode: Affirmations Don’t Work
Let’s talk affirmations — you know, those feel-good phrases like “I’m a money magnet” or “I love my body.” They sound great, they’re everywhere, and they might even give you a little boost… but what happens when your brain doesn’t believe them? 🤔 In today’s episode, I’m breaking down why most affirmations don’t actually create lasting change — and what to do instead.
We’ll dive into what’s really going on in your brain when you repeat statements that feel completely out of reach. I’ll walk you through two powerful mindset progressions: one around body image and one around business. These examples will show you how to shift from negative self-talk to empowering beliefs in a way that actually works — by meeting your mind where it is and building real belief step by step. 💡
If you’ve ever felt frustrated that affirmations don’t “work” for you, this episode will help you understand why — and give you practical tools to create thoughts that feel true, believable, and transformative. Let’s rewire those thought patterns from the inside out.✨
Hey Trailblazers! ✨

In this episode, we're diving into the power of your thoughts — those invisible sentences that shape your emotions, actions, and ultimately, your results. I break down how thoughts are different from circumstances, why awareness is key, and how you can start shifting from unhelpful patterns to intentional thinking. You’ll learn how to spot thought errors, practice thought downloads, and move from self-judgment to self-compassion. This is where transformation starts — with your mind. 💭✨

Hey Trailblazers! 🚀✨
Welcome back to The Unpacking Brain Drama Podcast — I’m Pratiti, your go-to guide in this journey of self-discovery and empowerment. 🙌🏽
This episode is all about a sneaky, universal challenge that keeps so many of us from making progress:
Distractions. 🧠💥
We’re unpacking what really gets in the way of focus — and spoiler alert: it’s not just your phone or your inbox. 😅 Here's what we explore:
Understanding Obstacles
Most interruptions aren’t surprises — we just don’t plan for them. Learn how to stop blaming your circumstances and start creating strategies.
Thought Errors
From “I’ll do it tomorrow” to “I’m not good enough” — these sneaky thoughts drain your energy and block your momentum. Let’s start calling them out. 🔍
Urge Management
Learn to allow and process uncomfortable urges instead of resisting or avoiding them. Growth doesn’t come from comfort — it comes from emotional mastery.
Tackling Distractions
It’s time to set boundaries with tech, people, and your own attention. Healthy limits = powerful self-responsibility. 💪
Managing Fires
Not every “urgent” thing is actually urgent. Let’s talk about how to schedule the chaos instead of letting it take over. 📅
Conquering Self-Doubt
Self-doubt doesn’t mean stop — it means lean in. Learn why emotional discomfort is not the enemy — and how confidence is something you create.
🧭 The big takeaway?
By mastering your mind, you master your life.
Let’s get focused, reclaim your time, and keep blazing your own trail. 🔥

Whatever you focus on expands.
Whether you focus on what's going well for you in your life or you focus on the things that aren't going right
Your focus plays a significant role in shaping your perspective of your experiences.
By concentrating on the positive aspects of any situation, no matter how negative you may think it is, you're likely to instantly decrease the level of negative or even eliminate the idea that it’s negative at all.
You may even find yourself appreciating and fostering a sense of gratitude and seeing it as a lesson, an opportunity to learn, grow and evolve, instead of seeing it as a negative situation. On the other hand, constantly dwelling on challenges or spinning in the negativity will, for sure, amplify your impact on your thoughts and emotions.
This is literally where we birth trauma.
This is powerful, especially when you understand and realize how much of your life is spent thinking about what limits us from achieving or moving forward in our lives.
Thinking about why you can’t leave certain relationships, or why you’re not worthy of beautiful relationships to begin with. That’s a BIG one for me. Why you aren’t worth the higher income, why other people always have more than you.
Remember only YOU get to choose where you direct your attention for a more positive and fulfilling mindset.
The concept of "Whatever you focus on expands" is a powerful principle that suggests the more attention and energy we dedicate to a particular aspect of our lives, the more it will grow and manifest. In the context of your book, we can explore this concept across various facets of personal and professional development, illustrating how intentional focus can lead to significant positive changes.
Now, "Focus shift" adds another layer to this idea. It implies a deliberate and strategic redirection of one's focus to achieve a specific goal or outcome. We can delve into the art of shifting focus, providing practical insights, case studies, and actionable steps for readers to implement in their own lives.
Today, let’sdive into a topic that I really believe is the core of the work I’ve personally done on myself, with my coaches and the work I do with my clients.
This topic of Pain and suffering
I’m going to talk about it in terms of physical pain and emotional pain because apply to this way that I’m going to share today about pain verses suffering.
Pain is part of our HUMAN Experience – I want to say that again - Pain is part of our HUMAN Experience
That’s the 1st thing I really want you to hear, understand and not necessarily accept it.
Though consider the idea of allowing it as part of the 50/50 experience of your life experience.
As you know I talk about our life as 50% amazing and 50 % terrible.
Our creator didn’t come to us and say – Hey it’s going to be amazing all the time – you In? No he said some great sometimes not so much – you in?
It doesn’t even always have to be yours.
Sometimes the 50/50 is someone else’s and we’re just affected by it.
For example, things we hear on the news may make you happy or sad and not really have anything to do with you. Because of how you’re thinking about it.
As you know it’s your thinking that creates your happiness and your sadness.
We spend so much of our life trying to control people’s opinions of us. If you really take the time to think about how much time you spend thinking “What will they think of me? Will they like what I’m wearing? Did I say that right? Should I try that? What will people think if I try that?” What will my mother think? What will my husband think? What will everybody think? This generalized concept of everybody out there. It is usually a mother most of us are referring to or our friends. really important to remember. You can’t control other people’s minds.
I have this belief that I’m calling the steady - let's say 10 people:Now if their opinion of you was based on you and what you said and what you did, then all ten of those people would have theexact same opinion of you because you are the constant.
They have 10 different opinions of you because their opinion of you is based on them. You may look like their third grade teacher. They may hate you the minute you walk in the door because you look like their third grade teacher who was really mean to them and they are never going to get past it. You may remind them of their mother-in-law. Nothing you can do about that. They may hate what you are wearing. It is just not theirstyle. Nothing you can do about that. They may love what you are wearing. They may remind you of their best friend. They may think you are fantastic because you have the same shoes they do.
For every goal is going to have a cost factor associated with it and this is awesome.
Think of it as an investment that will give you a very positive return.
And remember your brain -if you think about the motivational triad, the brain doesn’t like any cost. It likes to preserve energy and it likes to focus on comfort and only positive things. It wants to stay in the cave and be safe. It wants to survive. So you have to literally coach your own brain around price that you might have to pay to achieve the goal, and it has to be worth it to you.
As you embark on your goals, ponder the tangible andintangible benefits awaiting you. Yes, there are quantifiable gains like weight loss or financial stability. But there's also an immeasurable sense of pride, resilience, and self-understanding that accompanies these triumphs. My weight loss journey, for instance, wasn't just about shedding pounds. It was about embracing emotional vulnerability, learning to navigate my feelings, and discovering the depths of my own strength.
However, to attain these rewards, you must confront thecosts. Imagine your goal as a chilly, brisk breeze outside the cozy cave of your comfort zone. Are you willing to step into that cold air for the promise of unparalleled growth? Are you prepared to relinquish the warmth of familiarity for the thrill of the unknown?
Episode 83 - Victim or Victor
Today, we're diving into a topic that holds so much power over our lives – and it’s the stories we tell ourselves, about ourselves. It’s so powerful to me that it’s absolutely profound.
I was just talking with a very dear friend of mine that has been living with MS for the past 23 years of her life and she always says the this one mantra that she lives by and that She is not a Victim – she is the Victor!
Every single time it blows me away – because it reminds me how powerful our inner narrative is and how it becomes our outer narrative.
Did you know that you are the author of your own narrative of your life? So today I’m going to explore how reshaping our stories can transform us from victims to victors."
Think about it - your life is a collection of experiences, and how we interpret these experiences becomes our story. But here's the fascinating part - we have the creative liberty to choose which parts of our story to emphasize. So many timeswe focus on the challenges, the heartaches, and the setbacks, and in doing so, we cast ourselves as victims in our own life story. But what if we shifted our focus?"
"Consider this: every experience, whether seemingly positive or negative, holds within it valuable lessons and moments of inner strength. Even in our darkest times, there are glimmers of light, moments of resilience, and lessons that shape us.So, why not redefine our stories by highlighting these gems?"
"Imagine a life where we only narrate the highlights, where every obstacle was a stepping stone, and every setback was a setup for a comeback. When we focus on the strength we gained from our challenges and the wisdom we acquired from our struggles, our self-perception undergoes a radical shift."
"What if you approached your story like a movie script, highlighting the moments of triumph, the moments where you overcame odds that you feel were stacked up against you, and the times when your resilience shone brightly?
I think about my own story. I always told it like I just led a life of struggles until one day I heard this concept that I could tell whatever story I wanted to and I was like “What?” I can tell it however I want? It blew my mind – I never knew – why didn’t someone tell me?
And by doing that, I not only acknowledge my own power but also inspire others to find strength in their struggles." It literally changed my life – I never looked at it the same again.
Except for when I’m arguing with my mom, somehow, I revert right back to being 15. HUH?
"The transformative power of reshaping our narrative is profound. It elevates our self-confidence, banishes self-doubt, and empowers us to embrace our inner victor. When we focus on our strengths, the lessons we've learned, and thecourage we've displayed, we become the architects of our destiny."
So, for all of you listening to this message: Here it is - You have the pen in your hand, and the story you write is entirely up to you. It's not about denying our challenges, but rather, it's about reframing them, extracting the wisdom, andacknowledging our growth. Embrace the power of your story and step into your role as the hero of your own journey."
"So, as we wrap up today's episode, I want to leave you with this empowering thought: you are not defined by the challenges you face, but by how you overcome them.Embrace the strength within you, focus on your victories, and watch as your life transforms. If you're ready to embark on this journey of self-discovery, I invite you to take the first step. Rewrite your story, and in doing so, transform from a victim to a victor."

Living life to the fullest, staying positive, and trying new things while having fun in the process are very important elements of my life. I always aim to make the most out of every situation, and I cannot be more excited for what the future holds.
Working with companies with established cultures like RedBull, One Spark, University of North Florida, and Orangetheory Fitness taught me that people are everything (especially in Business). I'm convinced that small things like a smile in the morning, a random act of kindness, hard-motivated work, and sharing with friends are elements that will lead people to success.
Relationships
What are the different types of relationships?
Conditional Love - Unconditional Love
We have a relationship with everything in our life:
Other People
Yourself
Health and Fitness
Food / Alcohol / Sugar and Flour
Your Body
Style / Music
Business / Work / Clients
Money
I believe your relationship with everything in the world comes down to your relationship with yourself in that area.
When you're in a relationship with anything, it's because you've given it thought. So really it's your thoughts that are in the relationship with everything.
In this episode, I discuss why sometimes we give our love freely (without conditions) and sometimes we give love under some attached terms (with conditions).
Our brain is what controls or tries to control everything!
It does this by remembering everything we do regularly that doesn’t kill us and repeats it over and over again until it becomes an automatic habit.
The good news is – we are the only species that has the ability to think about our thinking.
We have 60,000 thoughts a day and over 90% of them are repeated and unconscious.
So, when we think about making changes it can create lots of emotions in us that make it more challenging. Mostly feelings of discomfort.
Overwhelmed, stress, anxiety, fear, depressed, etc.
By design – our brain is designed to be efficient by using the least amount of energy to do its work at the highest level.
Listen in while I share all aspects of the emotional Triad we're always dealing with when it comes to making changes and interrupting the patterns of our behavior that are necessary for personal and professional growth and evolution..If you enjoy listening to this podcast, you have to come check out "Your Inner Guide", my signature program where we work together 1:1 for 6 months on peeling back the layers of life experiences. When you're creative with your gifts it changes the level of your gratitude for the other person and their gratitude from them to you. It really showcases your level of thoughts for them and about them.
This is a game changer for deepening your connection and relationship for them.

Power of Questions:
Why are questions so powerful?
It's how we make decisions throughout our day and in our lives.
It's also what make up at least half if not more of the thoughts in our brains.
They say we have 60,000 thought daily and over 90% of them are repetitive and unconscious. But what about the other 9%? Do we really know what they are?
How do we decide them? Or do we?
In this episode I talk about how important our inner dialogue is and how our brain is like google. Whatever you ask it - You'll get answers from the search.
So if you ask yourself really negative questions:
Your brain will give a slew of negative answers:
Our questons are powerful, so it's super important to be aware of and intentional on what and how you ask them, especially to yourself.
Power of awareness is how create powerful empowering questions:
The best way I have learned to have great awareness is to empty my thought onto a piece of paper... Uninterrupted and without judgement. Just let the thoughts flow out of you and then take a look at them with curiosity, love and compassion.
Only then can you decide what to do with them.

Awareness
So many of us spend time being aware of what's going on outside of us in our external environment.
We do this because we want to know what's going on out there that could have an effect on us and our families and our lives in general. And some of that is important.
What I talk about in this episode is questioning whether it is true that the external environment has the effect hat we think it does.
I encourage you to consider how much of an effect does it actually have and how much power you are giving it when you pay more attention to other people or things out of our control.
When you put your focus on things outside of yourself and outside of your control you are missing out on the things you can control, which is yourself and how you chose to think about those things and people out there.
In the end YOU and Your thoughts alone is what will have the greatest impact and affect on your lives and the lives of your family.
I encourage you to be curious on where you are using your focus on the external things and people to avoid taking a look at yourself.
It's easy to judge and criticize what others are doing and scary to look inward.
I challenge you to turn off your TV for a week and use that same amount of time to focus on what you are producing in your on life and what can be improved.

Let's talk all things Post-Traumatic Growth:
What is Post-Traumatic Growth? PTG
It is growth and that from processing, learning and evolvement through the trauma. Not inspite of it, rather because of it.
I've gone through many of life's challenges and have not only survived them but have learned to go beyond the resilience and have grown and evolved become a new and better version of myself because of the difficult experiences.
I've gone through being picked on and bullied, I've been abandoned and left to be a single mother, financial struggles, divorce and ultimately the deepest grief through the loss of my 17 year old son Devan to a fatal electrical accident.
Life is full of good and bad times, ups and downs, happy and sad, we have to learn something that is not taught in school which is how to ebb and flow through our experiences.
Many of life experiences are not in our control and we have to intentionally learn how to embrace them in a way that allows us to process challenging experiences in a way that helps us take care of our mental and emotional health.
Kintsugi - meaning (kin - "Golden" and Tsugi - "Repair") is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery by mending the breaks with lacquer and gold, silver or platinum dust.
This is how we can view the process of our own healing when going through life's struggles.
This is how we can teach our children through setting healthier examples.

Anxiety, Stress and Worry
What are these emotions, why do we have them and where do they come from?
Stress - pressure or tension exerted on a material object. – That’s not the one
Stress - a state of mental or emotional strain or tension resulting from adverse or very demanding circumstances. Challenging situations (Perceived)
What is Anxiety - a feeling of worry, nervousness, or unease, typically about an imminent event or something with an uncertain outcome.
Worry - a state of anxiety and uncertainty over actual or potential problems.
Now potential is a key descriptor in this. It’s important to understand because it doesn’t actually mean that there is a challenge situation and or an actual problem.
It’s the perception or anticipation of potential problem.
Some of us allow information in (or noise from external factors) and our brain being the amazing efficient factory of thoughts that are produced automatically, espec if we’ve practiced them over and over again? It’s like an assembly line that produces the same product over and over.
Our brains product is thoughts.
Remember that commercial where you saw the guy get up every morning for work around the clock and said time to make the doughnuts – that’s exactly
For some us that are really good at producing worry & anxious thoughts it’s just gets up and says let’s go to work, time to create anxiety.
And literally is on the prowl looking for opportunities to create it.
Wat I’ve noticed is that once your brain is really good at it because it’s practiced it so many times, it can be challenging to just interrupt that pattern of automatically producing that vibration in our body that is anxiety.
This pattern is when you break it down is basically irrational thoughts about our thoughts
Let’s look at how this time of year can bring out that even more
If you’re like me you may have many things that present the opportunity for overindulging in this emotion.
This time of year can put together the perfect ingredients for us to more anxious than normal.
Family gatherings
Holidays
Yearend Goals
Home projects (people coming over)
It’s the anticipation of what it will be like or how someone may behave, disappointments
Anxiety is kind of like a blanket of over many emotions that are hiding underneath it
Hesitant, Nervous, Panic, Unsure, Apprehensive, Overwhelm, grief, sad, Depressed, Lonely, Resistant
There's so much good stuff in this episode I couldn't fit it all here. Just go LISTEN, I think you'll love it!

Solo Episode: Gratitude
Gratitude
What is Gratitude? What does it mean to be grateful? Why does it matter?
Gratitude is a conscious, positive emotion one can express when feeling thankful for something, whether tangible or intangible.
Gratitude is so much more than just showing good manners. It’s a practice that requires acknowledging someone else's gesture towards us or the things that are going well in our lives. It involves both a process of recognition of the positive and its outcome.
It's one of the most amazing emotion we can have. Our energy Vibrate at the highest level
And when you feel excited, elated, energized, you don’t have room to feel emotions like depression, anxiety, fear, disappointment
Gratitude has long term benefits when practiced on a regular basis - it literally changes your brain.
Research found that people who tend to be more grateful have more brain activity in the medial prefrontal cortex, the part of our brain associated with learning and decision making. This brain activity persisted an entire month later, which suggests that gratitude has long-lasting effects. So the compound effect & ROI on feeling gratitude for things in our lives builds over time having a long term effect on our mood and behavior and then that just snowballs.
The benefits of Gratitude this is not my research
· It instantly increases your happiness by 10% AND decreases depressive symptoms by 35% That’s amazing
· Over time if you make gratitude a daily habit a part of your daily practice, it prevents anxiety and depression
· It improves your health, MORE RESORATIVE sleep, boosts your immune system
· Something that absolutely necessary to combat illnesses keeping you more protected from viruses or anything else out there
· LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE
· Fewer aches and pains
We can increase our capacity for FORGIVENESS
Now this is huge – this is a big one because they go hand in hand
It starts with our ability to forgive ourselves in order to have gratitude for ourselves.
I’m talking all this time about being grateful for other people and things outside of us and now I want to bring the attention back to where it all has to start.
Love, compassion, kindness and GRATITUDE & FORGIVENESS for ourselves.
When we can truly love ourselves and hold space for ourselves, we can find forgiveness for ourselves and be grateful for who we are, what we stand for and how we show up in the world.
Imagine more love & gratitude in the world, for what we have & each other, we’d be healthier, happier & smarter.

Andrew Kap is the author of “The Last Law of Attraction Book You’ll Ever Need To Read” -- a perennial bestseller giving readers a unique understanding of the topic that no other “LOA” book has ever been able to do — by going the extra mile of addressing WHY people who get excited about trying it out still can’t manage to get in the habit of using the methods for just five minutes a day.
Personally this book has changed my life and I have read it multiple times and refer it as much as possible and I also send a copy of it to my clients.
The book has enjoyed #1 Bestseller status in multiple categories on Amazon, with over 2100 Five-star reviews, and a growing YouTube channel devoted to it.
This book has also sold over 100,000 copies and has had so many people questioning how he was able to sell so many copies in this short amount of time.
As Andrew stay true to who he is as an author and as a human, he loves nothing more than to give his audience what they want. so what came next was his new book:
"3 Words I used to Sell 100,000 Books". This is an absolute "MUST READ" as it literally will change how you not write and sell your book, his methods are so simple you can apply his strategies to many other written works. I myself have applied it to my coaching programs and my workshops.
Brilliant Work, Andrew!

Today's Guest: Wendy Schofer:
She specializes in helping parents of overweight children to build a healthier, whole family.
As parents, we universally want what is best for our kids. But in today's culture of instant gratification, always-available food to numb our pains and cravings, limited outlets for our families to be active and social, and now the pandemic - parents feel ill-equipped, confused, overwhelmed and burdened with their own health journeys, let alone their kids'.
How can we parents be the role model for our kids when we are stressed, overwhelmed, and searching for the last of the cookies while the kids aren't looking?
Wendy help parents who are worried about their family's weight to create healthier relationships with food and body so that food is a fuel and not a fight. And unlike many physicians, I don't define health as a number, but instead focus on equipping parents with the tools to help the whole family be healthy, at every weight. That is the difference when combining a pediatrician who understands the science behind the numbers, and the coach who collaborates with parents to understand and create the healthy results that they want for their family.
She also work with staff physicians, residents and medical students on using coaching communication within their own professional practice and personal self-discovery so they can create a practice and life that doesn't suck (seriously!).
Today we talk about how easily we can be working toward burnout without recognizing the signs and thinking the frustration and fatigue equal a hard working responsible human.
Every person's burnout is unique to you and how we use false labels to define you as being a super human when really it's actually the path to self destruct.
How to pace yourself by scheduling built in breaks for self-care.
(potty breaks, quick walks, meditation, etc)
Leave your work at work
Protecting your Time for yourself and your personal life
Focusing on your strengths and not criticizing yourself for your what is not your area of interests.

Introduction to me and my vision:
Welcome to "Unpacking Brain Drama" Pratiti Pathak, here.
For those of you who don't know me, I am an entrepreneur. I have had several businesses in the past 25 plus years, & today I am in the space of real estate. I am also a business & personal development & growth coach. I am the owner creator of "Results by Design Coaching", & I love helping people in their business and really with anything that they're struggling with in their life or anything that they want to achieve in their life, I myself have gone through many different struggles & many different challenges, and we'll just call them, life's. Experiences.
I've been in US since I was 2 yrs old in the early 70's. I was really struggling to fit into two different cultures, two different lifestyles, & ultimately feeling like I wasn't fitting into either one. I went through years of keeping everything to myself.
During that process, what I realized is we are all going through similar experiences, right?
We all have challenges. We all have obstacles. We all have different things that we go through that sometimes are not in our control. Here's what I want to say.
I have gone through many things in my life. I want to share my experiences with you through bullying, lies, deception, abandonment, and loss and grief. I lost my only child. My son Devan and today is his 12 year anniversary. So it's a very emotional, important and very personal day for me.
I'm proud to launch this podcast. For you on this day, It's that my son Devan and I were very close to, & we had an amazing bond. One of the main reasons for that is because we spent a lot of time having really deep conversations about life,, how we thought about things, how we felt about things.
And we shared that with each other. Through communication and conversation and I'm so grateful for it today. And even though I don't have the ability to have these conversations with. Him. I hope that you will join me on this amazing journey that I want for myself and I want for you too. My goal. And my mission is to be there for this young human generation of 17 to, to 30s, 40s, wherever you are in your life.
I want you to share with me in the amazing conversations I'm going to be having with amazing people. People who have been wildly successful in their life. People that have gone through tremendous struggles to get there & Some people that recognize it early on and what they did to help themselves get to that place.
In these episodes, what I want you to get from me is. Sometimes we'll be having episodes with amazing guests and being able to have a sharing and conversation that we're having with these guests. Sometimes you'll get just me maybe sharing something with you that I've learned or that my clients are going through, that they've learned.
And then sometimes you're also going to get some. Coaching sessions live, but not really live. They will be recorded and then shared with you here just so you can see sometimes seeing somebody else's brain is the best thing that could ever happen for us. So I really hope that you join me on this journey.
