Hello women, men and non-binary friends! And welcome to Conventionally Challenged, the podcast where we act conventionally challenged while discussing topics that would make Ben Shapiro tear his hair out. We will be talking about subjects such as prejudice, racism, sexism, homophobia, politics and a whole pile of other issues that exist in society today. We will have guest speakers on, on certain weeks to give their insight into a particular topic(s) and will release a new episode every week! Welcome back women, men and non-binary friends. It's been awhile but it feels good to be back! In todays episode with special guest star Saoirse, we discuss sexual assault/ harassment/ abuse, what they are, the differences between them and how to identify them. We discuss the 'not all men' phenomenon and I (Anna) go on a bit of a rant. We then go through measures men can take in their own daily lives to make women more comfortable (such as crossing the road when walking at night). We then go into a deep discussion on how women are treated when they voice their opinions or simply dare to have a voice. We talk a bit about the LGBTQIA+ community and how us addressing internalised bigotry in ourselves when finding our voices led to revelations about ourselves. And of course we recommend shows for you to watch. Most importantly, remember, DM's, emails, voice notes- anything, are ALWAYS open. Even if it is just because your sibling pissed you off and you want someone to rant to or you are feeling overwhelmed. We are here. We are listening. Love ye guys <3
