Are you tired of feeling like you have to "fix" yourself before you can truly belong? In this message from 1 John 4, we explore how the gospel meets our deepest needs for community, strength, and purpose. Discover how being fully known and loved by Christ frees you from the burden of self-reliance and invites you into a life where His love flows through you to others. You were made for community, and your weakness is exactly where God's power works best.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
What’s 1 thing you learned today about the character and nature of God? Why is that significant to you?
Which of the three “types” from the sermon—Floater, Taker, or Fixer—do you most identify with, and why? How does the gospel specifically speak to that tendency?
Where have you personally experienced Jesus' love through another believer? How did that shape your faith?
1 John 4:19 states “We love each other because He first loved us.” Why is this important for us to understand?
Who is one specific person God may be inviting you to intentionally love this week? What is one concrete way you can let Christ's love flow through you to them?

We all long to be fully known and fully loved, yet shame, fear, and the voices around us often lead us to hide...even from ourselves. Through the story of Scripture and Jesus’ words in John 10, we discover the Good Shepherd who knows His sheep by name, pursues us in our hiding, and replaces lies with life-giving truth. Because Jesus sees us completely and still chose the cross, we no longer have to perform, pretend, or earn an identity. In Him, we are safe, made new, fully known, and fully loved.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
Have you ever had the feeling that nobody really knows the REAL you? Describe the last time you felt that way and what was going on in your life at that time?
Adam and Eve hid from God after they sinned. What lie must they have believed to make them believe they needed to hide from Him?
Jesus says (John 10) that He speaks to His sheep AND YET there are “hire hands/false shepherds” that also talk to the sheep and try to direct them. Whose voice has shaped your identity or sense of worth in a way that contradicts God’s Word.
We "fully known and fully loved" in Christ. How does the cross prove that they are both true?
Revelation 2:17 says Jesus knows and has given us our REAL name. How might this reality change the way you live today?

Do you ever feel like you’re sitting on the sidelines of your own life, stuck in a cycle of worry, failure, or exhaustion? It’s easy to feel like praise is only for the "good days" or for those who have it all figured out. But what if praise isn't a performance, but it’s actually the key to your joy?
In this message, we dive into Psalm 150 to dismantle the four common excuses that hold us back from experiencing God’s presence. Whether you’re navigating a "low valley" or simply feeling weary, discover why you are a "living sanctuary" and how the very breath in your lungs is an invitation to experience freedom. Join us as we explore how praise can change your perspective and remind you that, through the cross, your story doesn’t end in despair but it in victory.
Talk It Over:
Which of the four excuses do you relate to most right now? "I don't know where... why... how... or who should praise God." What tends to keep you from living a life of praise?
The sermon described praise as something that completes our joy, not just fulfills a command. Can you think of a time when talking about something you loved actually increased your enjoyment of it? How does that change the way you think about praising God?
The message said we are now God's "portable sanctuary" because His Spirit lives in us. How would your Monday look different knowing you carried God's presence everywhere you went?
The cross and resurrection were described as God's "mightiest mighty deed." How does remembering what Jesus has already accomplished reshape your perspective on your current circumstances or struggles?
Psalm 150 ends with, "Let everything that has breath praise the Lord." What is one practical way you can "give your breath back to God" this week—in your work, home, relationships, or everyday routines?

In this teaching, John explores the transformative power of grace, authenticity, and the beauty of being truly known within a community. Discover how letting go of our masks and allowing others to bear our burdens can lead to a deeper healthy relationship with Jesus and others.
Talk it Over:
John mentioned that we often hide because we aren’t convinced others will love us if they know the "truth" about us. Why do you think it feels safer to be "hidden and tidy" rather than "known and messy" within a church community?
The sermon highlighted that sin grows in hiddenness but loses its power when we bring it into the light of a safe community. Have you ever experienced the relief or freedom that comes from sharing a burden or a struggle with a trusted friend?
John said, "I want to earn your trust so I can protect your heart." As a small group or community, what are some practical ways we can earn each other’s trust and create a "safe enough place" for people to come out of hiding?
We often see our limitations as weaknesses to be fixed, but John suggested God gives us limitations specifically so that we can be loved by others. How does changing your perspective on your limitations—from "problems to fix" to "opportunities to be loved"—change how you interact with others?
Looking at Galatians 6:2 ("Bear one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ"), what does it look like practically to "get up under and lift" someone else's burden this week?

What do you do with the things you’d rather nobody knew about?
We all know what it’s like to carry guilt, hide our struggles, and wonder if we’ll ever feel truly free. In Psalm 32, David shows us two very different paths: one of covering, pretending, and slowly wearing down…and another of honest confession, complete forgiveness, and lasting joy.
If you’ve been exhausted by trying to manage your image, outrun your past, or keep it all together, this message is an invitation to stop hiding and discover the freedom that’s already yours in Christ. Because the greatest hiding place isn’t where you keep your sin—it’s where Jesus has already covered it.
Talk It Over:
David isn't writing from inside the mess. He's writing after he came through it, and the first thing he wants you to know is what's on the other side: joy. Has there been a time you finally stopped hiding something and actually felt that relief, lightness, joy, on the other side of it? What was that like?
The sermon named two options: hide it or bring it into the light. What's your default when guilt or shame shows up? Where do you think that pattern first got built?
"Hiding from God doesn't protect you. It hollows you out." Has there been a season where you felt that hollowing, even in something small? What did it actually cost you to carry it alone?
Confession got defined as agreement, not a transaction or a courtroom scene. Does that change anything for you? Is there something you've been managing instead of simply agreeing with God about?
Verse 9 pictures an animal controlled from the outside. Verse 10 pictures unfailing love surrounding someone from every side. Which one more closely matches how your actual week with God feels right now, and why?

In this sermon on Psalm 46, Roman explores how God is our ultimate refuge in a chaotic world. While fear and loneliness often drive us to seek safety in our own strength, the Gospel reminds us that through Jesus, we are never alone or helpless. Because the Lord of Heaven's Armies is with us, we can stop our striving and find true rest in His power and protection.
Talk It Over:
Roman used the metaphor of Dunkirk to describe feeling "unsafe." What are the specific "wars" or "mountains falling into the sea" in your life right now that make you feel vulnerable or overwhelmed?
We often feel unsafe because we believe we are alone, helpless, or unprotected. Which of these three lies do you struggle with most, and how does it manifest in your daily anxiety?
Psalm 46:1 calls God a "very present help in trouble." How does the reality of Jesus being with you—made possible through the Gospel—change the way you view your current circumstances?
What "weapons" (control, perfectionism, overworking, etc.) are you currently using to try and create your own safety? What would it look like to "be still" and lay those weapons down this week?
Roman reminded us that because of Christ's victory, we have already won. How does knowing the "end of the story" help you find peace in the middle of your current "battle"?

Fear has a way of exposing the questions our hearts are really asking: Am I safe? Will someone hold me? Will anyone stay? In Psalm 27, David discovers a Father who answers every one of those fears with His unshakable presence. Join us as we discover the hope, security, and rest found in Jesus.
Talk It Over:
Which of these three questions do you find yourself asking most often right now? Am I safe? Will You hold me? Will You stay? Why?
What fears tend to reveal what you believe about yourself or about God? Where are you most tempted to become your own “light” or “salvation”?
What stood out to you about the picture of God as a Father who protects, holds, and never leaves His children? Was there a truth that challenged or encouraged you?
David longed to be near God’s presence, but through Jesus we have Christ living in us. How does that change the way we face fear this week?
What’s one situation this week where you need to remember one of these truths? I am safe. I am held. I am never abandoned.

Most of us don't pray honestly. Not because we're trying to be fake, but because we're not sure God can handle the real version. So we edit. We soften. We bring the composed version and hope it's enough.
Psalm 13 blows that up. David shows up with accusations, exhaustion, and zero filter...and God didn't redact a word of it. He put it in the Bible.
This message is about what makes that kind of honesty possible. It's about a love that was decided before you woke up this morning, that doesn't flinch at your anger or your doubt or your 2AM spiral.
And it's about why the cross changes everything about how we pray in a "how long" season.
Talk It Over:
David prays with zero filter, accusation, exhaustion, raw honesty. When you pray, which version of yourself usually shows up? Why do you think that is?
Observation #1 is about naming the gap between what God promised and what life actually feels like. What's a gap you've been afraid to name out loud, even to God?
We talked about the 2AM spiral, where we’re running scenarios, mapping outcomes, trying to think your way out of something thinking can't fix. What does your version of that look like, and have you ever brought it to God unfiltered?
The pivot in verse 5 happens before anything changes. What would it look like for you to say "but I trust" right now…not because circumstances improved, but because 'hesed' doesn't change?
David had a promise. We have the cross. How does knowing what 'hesed' actually cost change the way you pray in a "how long" season?

Ever find yourself looking around and wondering why the rest of the world seems to have it so easy while you're trying your best to walk the narrow road? In this episode, we dive into the raw honesty of Psalm 73, tracking the journey of a worship leader who almost lost his footing to envy and comparison. We explore how easily an outward fixate on what others have can warp our minds and steal our peace.
But the story doesn't end in the struggle. Discover how stepping into God's presence changes everything, quieting our anxious minds with His overwhelming grace, anchoring us in true contentment, and sending us back into the world ready to worship.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS
The Trap of Comparison: Asaph admits he nearly lost his spiritual footing because he was fixated on the success and ease of others (Psalm 73:2-3). With social media constantly displaying everyone's "highlight reels," in what specific areas of your life are you most tempted to compare and covet?
The "Beast-Like" Perspective: Envy can reduce our thinking to a "beast-like" level (v. 22)—focused entirely on immediate comfort, instinct, and visible circumstances. How does losing an eternal perspective change the way you react to daily stressors or financial anxieties?
The Power of the Sanctuary: Asaph’s perspective didn't shift until he entered the sanctuary of God (v. 17). Why is gathering for worship or being vulnerable with a gospel-centered community so vital for correcting a warped perspective?
Living in Sufficiency: The sermon highlights the truth that "God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever" (v. 26). Practically speaking, what is one tangible gratitude practice or gospel truth you can use this week to interrupt the cycle of comparison?

We often let one negative moment — a failure, a regret, an old shame — erase ten blessings and cause us to forget what God says about us. This message is anchored in three words from Romans 8:14–17 that define every believer's true identity.
Adopted — God didn't bring us in halfway. Through Christ, we receive His name, full belonging, and a new identity that replaces every old label.
Abba — We are invited into intimate relationship with a perfect Father whose love doesn't slam the door when we fail — He calls us home.
Heirs — We share in Christ's glory and inheritance, making us spiritually rich even when life feels ordinary or hard.
The Big Idea: Stop living from old wounds and shame. You are more than just somebody to God.
Group Discussion Romans 8:14–17
Getting Started Frank shared how one small negative thing — spilled coffee, a critical word — can quickly overshadow ten blessings. Can you relate? What tends to throw you off most easily, and why do you think that is?
Adopted Old labels like failure, unwanted, ashamed, or never enough can stick with us for years. Is there a label from your past that still tries to define you? How does the truth of God's adoption challenge that label?
Abba Frank acknowledged that some people struggle to see God as a loving Father because of painful experiences with their earthly father. How has your relationship with your earthly father — positive or negative — shaped the way you relate to God?
Heirs Romans 8:17 links glory and suffering together. Has there been a season of difficulty in your life that you can now see God used to shape, refine, or redirect you? How does knowing you are an heir change the way you face hard times?
Closing thought to leave with your group: Where do you most need to stop living from an old identity and start living from who God says you are?

Almost all of us are carrying something we've worked very hard to keep in the dark. The Friday night. The addiction. The version of you nobody on Sunday gets to see.
Psalm 51 is David's song from the floor, written after his affair with Bathsheba blew his whole life apart. It's raw, it's honest, and most of us have prayed some version of it. But here's what Matt unpacks in this message: David was reaching across a thousand years for what Jesus has already handed you. A clean heart. A washing that holds. A Spirit who won't leave. He was begging for what you're already living inside of.
If you've ever thought God can't use someone like me, or my past disqualifies me, this one is for you. You don't have to clean yourself up before you come. Come wrecked and messy and realize that the cross of Jesus did all the cleansing and renewal you need.
Come out of hiding.
Discussion Questions:
What's something you've been hiding (from God, from yourself, from people who love you)? What has the energy of keeping it hidden cost you?
David was reaching for a clean heart, a Spirit who stays, and a sacrifice that finishes the work. He was reaching across a thousand years for what we've been handed in Christ. Which of those three do you most need to stop praying for and start living from?
Take a moment of quiet. What is the Holy Spirit putting His finger on as you sit with this Psalm? Not "what should I do" but "what is true of me that I've been missing"?
What would it look like this week to live from your new identity in Christ instead of for an acceptance you're trying to earn? Where specifically does this need to land: work, school, marriage, parenting, your own head when you're alone?

A lot of us carry misconceptions about God...that He’s disappointed, distant, frustrated, or waiting for us to finally get our act together. But Psalm 139 reveals something radically different.
In this message, we unpack the truth that God fully knows you, deeply loves you, constantly stays with you, and isn’t asking you to perform for His acceptance. If you’ve struggled with shame, anxiety, loneliness, self-hatred, or feeling “not enough,” this sermon is for you.
Jesus didn’t come to expose you. He came to rescue you. And being fully known by God may be the safest place you’ve ever been.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
David marvels at being fully known by God, but most of us flinch at the idea. What's one area of your life where being "found out" felt (or would feel) threatening? What would it change if you believed that God already sees it all and His response is a hand of blessing, not a gavel?
What's a misconception about God you carried for a long time that you didn't realize was wrong until later? How did it shape the way you lived?
God assigned your value in the womb, before you had a résumé or a track record. Where do you still catch yourself trying to EARN value, whether with God, at work, or in relationships? What would it look like to stop auditioning for a role you've already been given?
The sermon made a distinction between the voice of the accuser and the voice of God. Which voice do you hear more often and how do you tell the difference?
David doesn't apologize for his raw honesty in verses 19-22. He actually goes DEEPER in verses 23-24. What would it look like for you to bring the unfiltered, unedited version of yourself to God this week instead of the cleaned-up "church voice" version?

What do you do when life feels stalled, unfair, or out of your control? Joseph’s story (Genesis 41–50) meets us right there...forgotten seasons, sudden turns, deep betrayal, and unexpected purpose. In this message, we explore a life anchored in one unshakable truth: God is in control—over power, over circumstances, and even over the parts of our story that feel broken.
From prison to palace, Joseph discovers that what looks like delay is often preparation, what feels like chaos is not random, and what others intend for harm can be transformed for good. That truth doesn’t just change outcomes, it changes how we live: freeing us from anxiety, loosening our grip on control, and making room for forgiveness instead of bitterness.
Ultimately, Joseph’s story points beyond itself to Jesus, the true Redeemer who entered suffering, was exalted, and now offers life to all who come to Him. If you’re carrying disappointment, confusion, or pain, this message invites you to trust the Author with your story and find hope that your hardest chapters are not wasted.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
Where in your life do you struggle to trust that God is in control?
Joseph says, “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good.”How does that perspective challenge the way you view past hurt or injustice in your own life?
How does looking at the cross (where the greatest evil became the greatest good) help you trust God with suffering & uncertainty right now?
What would it look like this week to “drop the pen, and trust the author?”
If you had to take 1 thing away from this reflection what would it be? What do you believe God wants to say to you today specifically?

When life turns unfair—when you’re betrayed, falsely accused, overlooked, or stuck in circumstances you didn’t choose—it’s easy to grow bitter. In this message from Genesis 39, the story of Joseph invites us into a different response: boldness.
Even in slavery, temptation, and prison, Joseph clung to two unshakable truths—God was with him, and God had purpose in it. That didn’t make his life easier, but it made his faith deeper. What if your hardest season isn’t punishment, but preparation? What if instead of asking “Why is this happening?” you began asking “What now?”
Through storytelling and honest reflection on suffering, this sermon speaks to anyone facing disappointment, injustice, or waiting seasons. Discover how the presence of God gives you strength in the moment, and how the bigger story of redemption—ultimately fulfilled in Jesus Christ—means your pain is never wasted.
You don’t have to become bitter. You can become bolder.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
Where are you tempted to grow bitter right now?
What can we learn about God’s character from these chapters?
How would you articulate “All sin is firstly sin against God” in your own words? How does that shape the way you view temptation?
Instead of asking “Why?” What would it look like for you to ask “What now?” in the midst of your biggest trials & challenges?
If you had to take 1 thing away from this reflection what would it be? What do you believe God wants to say to you today specifically?

When life blindsides you—when relationships fracture, dreams collapse, or obedience seems to lead to pain—it’s easy to wonder if God’s plan has gone off the rails. In this message from Genesis 37, the story of Joseph meets us right in those moments of confusion, rejection, and suffering. Betrayed by his brothers and stripped of everything, Joseph’s life looks like a disaster… yet it becomes a doorway to redemption.
This sermon speaks to the questions we all ask in the “pit”: Where is God? Is any good coming from this? Through Joseph’s story—and ultimately through Jesus—we’re reminded of a deeper truth: God is still at work, even when we can’t see it. What feels like interruption may actually be divine intention.
If you’ve ever wrestled with disappointment, loss, or the silence of God, this message invites you to reconsider your story. Because what you tell yourself in the dark matters—and the gospel declares that God never wastes pain.
Discussion Questions:
1. What stood out most to you from Josephs story thus far in Gen 37?
Where in your life right now does it feel like “this cannot possibly be part of God’s plan”?
Stuck in the well Joseph’s life looked like failure. How does looking at Jesus and the cross change how you interpret those moments?
Based on the truth of the Cross and Romans 8:28, how could you begin to talk to yourself differently in moments of feeling stuck or discouraged?
If you had to take 1 thing away from this reflection what would it be? What do you believe God wants to say to you specifically?

Are you exhausted from the constant hustle for approval? Most of us spend our lives "striving"—wrestling for success, relationships, or validation to finally feel like "enough." We live as if it’s all on us, but what if the blessing you’re fighting for is one you already possess?
In this message, we look at the life of Jacob—a man defined by "the grasp." From his birth to his adulthood, Jacob used schemes and control to secure his future. But in a midnight wrestling match with God at Peniel, Jacob discovered a life-changing truth: We win with God by finally losing.
Why Listen?
Identify Your Struggle: Recognize where you are striving for what only God can give.
Find Your New Name: See how God moves us from "deceiver" to "chosen."
Experience True Rest: Learn to live from a place of victory in Christ rather than fighting to earn one.
Stop trying to con your way into an identity. Whether you’re limping through a hard season or locked in a match with your circumstances, discover how to drop the act and receive the blessing already secured for you at the Cross.
Big Idea: We don’t have to spend our lives wrestling for the blessing that we already possess in Christ!
Discussion Questions:
1. What's the one thing you keep striving for that you believe will finally make you feel like enough?
Jacob prayed sincerely and then immediately went back to scheming. Where in your life do you find yourself doing the same thing?
Jacob stopped performing and just told the truth about himself. What would it look like for you to drop the act and come to God exactly as you are?
"You don't behave your way to a new name. You receive it." What old name are you still living under that Jesus has already replaced?
If every spiritual blessing is already yours in Christ, what would change about the way you live this week if you actually believed that?

Happy Resurrection Sunday! Welcome to Generation! ⛪︎
📖 John 3:1-21
In a world marked by uncertainty, fear, and instability, this message dives into one of the most powerful conversations in Scripture, Jesus and Nicodemus in John 3. As chaos rises in our culture through political tension, economic anxiety, and global unrest, we are faced with a question. Where do we find lasting stability?
This sermon explores four common responses to instability, denial, distraction, despair, and domination, and why none of them truly satisfy. Instead, Jesus offers something radically different. Not behavior modification, but spiritual transformation. “You must be born again.”
Through the lens of Easter, we see God’s answer to chaos. He does not begin by fixing our circumstances. He gives us new life through Christ. At the cross, Jesus takes our sin. Through the resurrection, He gives us His life. The result is a secure identity, a renewed heart, and steady hope in an unsteady world.
This is an invitation to move beyond fear and into faith. To stop striving and start trusting. To leave despair behind and step into new life. In the midst of instability, discover the One who never changes.
Discussion Questions:
What currently in your life feels most unstable or uncertain?
Which response do you tend to default to? (Deny/Distract/Despair/Dominate)
What do you think the core difference is between "behaving better" and "being born again?"
If it's true that you are fully forgiven, loved, accepted, secure...how can that change the way you live day to day?
How does having the resurrection life of Jesus in you help you to "dive in" instead of despair? Is there anything specific you sense God calling to you "dive in" to?

Welcome to Generation! ⛪︎
📖 Genesis 17:1-16
Feeling Out of Control? When the bank account drops, the car breaks down, or a health crisis hits, we all ask the same thing: "God, am I actually secure in Your hands?"
In this message, we look at the life of Abraham—a man who spent years swinging between bold faith and total panic—to discover how God provides security when life feels like it’s falling apart.
The Three Pillars of Your Security:
Things God Marks: How circumcision was a permanent reminder that Abraham belonged to God—and how the Cross is that permanent mark for you today.
Things God Keeps: Why admitting a situation is "too hard for you" is actually the first step toward seeing God’s power.
Things God Gives: The heart-wrenching story of Isaac on Mt. Moriah wasn't about what Abraham could sacrifice, but a "preview" of what God was willing to give: His only Son.
Stop trying to "white-knuckle" your way through uncertainty. True peace isn't found in controlling your circumstances; it's found in the God who refused to withhold His own Son from you.
Watch now to move from the "pendulum of panic" to a life firmly gripped by Grace.
Discussion Questions:
1. When life feels chaotic, what do you tend to look to for security (apart from God)?
2. Part of Abraham and Sarah’s struggle was making sense of God’s timing. Why is it hard to trust God’s timing even if we believe in His power?
3. Underneath it all, God invited Abraham to trust Him. What is something in your life that you need to surrender to God?
4. How is this story ultimately not about what we give to God but what God was willing to give up for us? Read Romans 8:32, what does that tell you about God’s care for you?
5. If you could take 1 thing away from this reflection, what do you think God would want to say to you?

Welcome to Generation! ⛪︎
📖 Genesis 11:27-12-8
Have you ever wondered if your faith is really enough...or if your failures have disqualified you from God’s love?
Abraham’s story in Genesis reminds us that the foundation of our relationship with God isn’t our strength, but His grace.
God chose Abraham out of obscurity, made extraordinary promises to him, and called him to go without a map...only a promise. And while Abraham did take steps of faith, his journey was also marked by fear, doubt, and failure. Yet through it all, God never abandoned His word.
Why? Because the promise was never dependent on Abraham’s perfection, it was secured by God’s faithfulness.
In one of the most powerful moments in Genesis, God makes a covenant with Abraham and, symbolically, takes full responsibility for keeping it. It’s a glimpse of what was to come: a day when God Himself would bear the cost of our brokenness through Jesus.
This is the good news for us today.
When our faith feels small…When our obedience is inconsistent…When we wonder if we’ve done too much to be held onto…
God remains faithful.
The gospel reminds us that our hope is not in how tightly we hold onto God, but in how securely He holds onto us. Through Christ, every promise is fulfilled, every failure is covered, and every believer is welcomed into the family of God.
So this week, don’t look inward to measure your faith...look upward to the God who never breaks His promises.
“If we are unfaithful, He remains faithful—for He cannot deny who He is.” (2 Timothy 2:13)
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
1. When have you struggled to believe God is still committed to you?
2. How does knowing God keeps His promises change how you handle failure?
3. What does it mean personally that God walked the blood path for you in Christ?
4. What would it look like for you this week to take a step without a map?
5. If you could take 1 thing away from this reflection, what do you think God would want to say to you?

We all build “towers” hoping they’ll give us security, identity, and a sense that our life matters. The Tower of Babel shows how humanity has always tried to construct those things apart from God. But the gospel tells a different story. Instead of climbing our way up, God came down to us in Jesus.
Discussion Questions:
1. Where do you most often look for security or significance in your life right now?
What are some of the “towers” people commonly build today to feel safe or to prove they matter?
Can you think of a time when God interrupted your plans? Looking back, how might that have been mercy?
Why do you think it’s so easy for us to drift toward self-salvation instead of trusting what God has already done?
How does the gospel change where we look for our safety and significance?
Supporting Scriptures: Genesis 9:1, Genesis 9:7, John 1:14, Acts 2:1–12, Philippians 2:5–11

When life feels overwhelmed by evil, violence, or the brokenness of the human heart, many people quietly wonder the same questions: Why does the world feel so messed up? Can people really change? Is there any hope that things will ever be made right?
In this message, we look at the story of Noah in Genesis 6 and discover that the flood was not just an ancient disaster story. It exposes the deeper problem inside every human heart and points to God’s surprising rescue plan. While the ark saved Noah’s family from the storm, it also foreshadows a greater rescue God would provide through Jesus.
If you have ever wished you could freeze a perfect moment, escape the chaos around you, or find a way to be truly changed from the inside out, this conversation explores why the world needs a better Ark and how the hope of the gospel promises both transformation now and a future where evil and sorrow are finally gone.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
1. What’s one moment of your life you’d love to freeze and stay in?
2. What do you learn about God’s character from the verses we covered today?
3. How are you tempted to change things externally instead of focusing on the changes God wants to bring internally?
4. How does Jesus being our “True & Better Ark” give you hope for daily life as well as for eternity? (New Hearts + New Heavens/New Earth)
5. If you took 1 thing away from this study & reflection what would it be, why?

Why does someone else’s blessing feel like your loss?
In this message, we step into Book of Genesis 4 and the story of Cain and Abel to uncover the roots of envy, resentment, and spiritual hypocrisy. Like the rivalry portrayed in Amadeus, we see how comparison can quietly harden into anger...and even accusation against God: “You haven’t given me what I deserve.”
But this story isn’t just a warning. It’s an invitation.
The blood of Abel cried out for justice. Jesus’ blood cries out for forgiveness. When we realize we haven’t received what we deserve...but mercy instead...we’re finally freed from envy and rage.
If you’ve wrestled with comparison, bitterness, or disappointment with God, this message is for you.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
1. What do you learn about God’s character from Genesis 4?
2. Where are you tempted to approach God like Cain instead of Abel?
3. What “crouching” sin has God already warned you about? What is at your door right now? How does seeing Jesus as “The Greater Adam” shape the way you understand yourself? (Rom 5:6-21)
4. How does knowing Christ’s blood speaks a better word change how you handle guilt or shame?
5. If you took 1 thing away from this study/reflection what would it be, why?

If you’ve ever wondered why life feels beautiful and broken at the same time…this message is for you.
Starting in Gospel of Luke 24 and walking all the way back to Genesis, we trace the story Jesus says we often miss: the whole Bible is about Him. Not moral heroes to copy. Not disconnected stories. But one unfolding rescue...from a good God, in a good world, shattered by a terrible lie…and pursued by relentless grace.
Why do we hide? Why do we blame? Why do we try to fix ourselves with success, religion, or control, only to feel more exhausted? Because, like Adam and Eve, we’ve believed something about God that isn’t true. And that lie still shapes our fear, shame, and striving today.
But the story doesn’t end in the garden.
In the middle of our rebellion, God comes looking: “Where are you?”
He provides a covering.
He makes a promise.
And He sends a Child who would be wounded—but would ultimately crush the serpent.
This isn’t abstract theology. It’s hope for hospital rooms. Hope for grief. Hope for anxiety. Hope for the moments when you’re walking through disappointment and wondering where God is.
If you’re tired of trying to be your own savior…
If suffering has made you question whether God is really good…
If you long for home, wholeness, and peace…
Come see how the Gospel didn’t begin in Matthew. It began in a garden and it changes how you walk through yours today.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
What do you learn about God’s character from Genesis 1-3?
What subtle lie about God is easiest for you to believe? Especially in times of stress, suffering, or disappointment?
Adam and Eve try to cover their shame with fig leaves. Do you ever wear a mask to protect yourself or hide the broken parts of you? What is that mask or “fig leaf?”
How does seeing Jesus as “The Greater Adam” shape the way you understand yourself? (Rom 5:6-21)
If you took 1 thing away from this study/reflection what would it be, why?

Today we wrestle honestly with healing...our hope, our doubts, and our pain. Scripture shows us that God is a healer by nature, that Jesus healed all who came to Him, and that His compassion hasn’t ended with the resurrection. While healing remains a mystery and doesn’t always happen when or how we want, we are still called to pray in faith and not give up. We don’t place our hope in formulas or mindsets, but in the faithful heart of God. Whether healing comes now, later, or ultimately in resurrection, we trust Jesus, obey His call to pray, and continue to seek His Kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
What does this passage reveal about Jesus’ heart toward suffering people?
Have you ever witnessed a supernatural physical healing?
Where do you personally drift more—toward quitting on healing (mindset) or trying to control it through your efforts (methods)?
How do you believe we should respond when healing doesn’t happen immediately?
What would it look like for you to pray for people more often? What might stop you (fear, disappointment, or doubt)?

When life feels unstable, your emotions swing, and your faith feels fragile, this message brings grounding hope. From 2 Corinthians 4:18, The Line and the Swing* reminds us that what we feel is not always what is most true. You are more than your circumstances, more than your thoughts, and more than your emotions. While your soul may fluctuate, your identity in Christ is finished and your union with Him is secure. Learn how to live from what is already true about you, find peace beneath the pressure, and anchor your everyday life in the unchanging reality of God’s grace.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
The sermon talked about gospel riches already being ours, like oil under the surface. Where do you most often live as if you are spiritually broke instead of rich?
How would you describe the difference between living from your identity versus living for your identity? What does that look like in real life this week?
When your soul is swinging with anxiety, doubt, temptation, or disappointment, what do you usually assume that means about your relationship with God?
Which idea was most freeing for you today: that your identity is finished, that your soul fluctuations are normal, or that union with Christ is unchanging? Why?
How could knowing the difference between spirit and soul change the way you treat yourself or others when things feel messy or unresolved?
Prov. 23:7; 2 Cor. 4:18; Heb. 10:14; Col. 2:10; 2 Cor. 5:21; Col. 1:22; 1 Pet. 2:11; Jn 3:5-8; 2 Pet. 1:4; 1 Thess. 5:23; Heb. 4:12; 1 Cor. 6:17; Heb. 6:19; Gal. 2:20

When life feels fragile and the future is uncertain, where can you find something solid? This message begins in the tension of real suffering and leads us to Jesus’ invitation to build our lives on an unshakable foundation. Centered on Jesus as the Good Shepherd, it explores why His voice, heard through Scripture, is trustworthy, clear, and lovingly challenging. Rather than offering opinions or quick fixes, this message calls listeners to honest surrender, deeper trust, and a faith that can withstand life’s storms. In a noisy, confusing world, Jesus still speaks, and His words lead to true life.
When life feels uncertain or painful, where do you usually look for guidance or comfort? How does that compare to where Jesus looked?
What sin/belief/activity, etc. in your life might be causing “static on the line” that might be keeping you from hearing God clearly? (John 10)
When was a time God spoke to you directly through your time in the Bible? What change did you experience from that?
The sermon says: “We want clarity until it costs us something. Jesus calls His followers to increasing surrender. What’s the difference between asking Jesus “What can I keep?” versus “What do You want me to give up?” Do you sense Jesus inviting you to surrender anything in your life right now?
How could you make Scriptures a greater part of your daily/weekly rhythms? What would you commit to this year?

Ever wonder who to trust when everyone claims a “new truth”? From the first lie in Eden...“Did God really say?”...to modern spiritual confusion, the strategy hasn’t changed: doubt God’s Word, redefine Jesus, and make yourself the authority. In this message, we explore why Jesus believed the Scriptures are unbreakable and enough, and why building your life on anything else leads to confusion, shame, and instability. If you’re tired of mixed messages, deconstructed faith, or trying to hold onto Jesus without the Bible, this conversation calls you back to a firm foundation and the words of a Savior who can be trusted.

Have you ever tried to read the Bible and felt confused, discouraged, or quietly guilty for not “getting it”? You know it matters...but at some point you got lost and maybe even gave up.
In this message, we discover a single, life-changing framework Jesus himself gives us for reading the Bible. Through the story of the road to Emmaus, Jesus shows that Scripture isn’t primarily about rules to follow or heroes to imitate. It’s one unified story pointing to one true Hero: Him.
When we stop reading the Bible as if it’s mainly about us and start reading it through the Jesus lens, everything changes. The pressure to perform gives way to freedom. Confusion turns into clarity. And seeing Jesus for who he is begins to reshape how we see God, the Bible, and ourselves.
If you’ve ever felt burned out by trying harder, unsure how the Bible connects to real life, or hungry for a faith built on something solid, this message is for you.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
What has your experience with reading the Bible been like: encouraging, confusing, heavy, life-giving, or something else?
What stood out to you most from this message? Was there a moment, phrase, or idea that shifted how you see the Bible?
Where have you tended to read the Bible with yourself at the center? How has that shaped your view of God or yourself?
How does seeing Jesus as the Hero change the way you approach Scripture What might look different if your goal is to see Him rather than fix yourself?

Conflict is unavoidable. But how we handle it can either deepen pain or put the gospel on display. Drawing from Colossians 3, Jesus’ prayer for unity in John 17, and practical wisdom for hard conversations, this message explores why we tend to either avoid or attack in relationships, and why Jesus calls us to a better way. Rooted in our identity as forgiven people, we learn how Christ’s grace empowers us to engage conflict with humility, love, and courage. Discover a simple, gospel-centered framework for navigating difficult conversations, pursuing peace, and growing in relational health so that our love for one another shows the world we truly belong to Him.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
When faced with a difficult personal situation, are you more tempted to avoid or attack? What do you think is underneath that tendency (fear, pride, desire for control, self-protection, etc.)?
How does remembering what Jesus did for you change the way you can approach people/conflict?
What would it look like to “make every effort to live at peace” in your real life right now? Is there a conversation to initiate, forgiveness to offer, or courage to show?

This message reminds us that worry and anxiety are universal struggles across every season of life, but God invites us to live differently. Fear responds to real, present threats, while anxiety grows from uncertainty about the future. Through Scripture we learn that God deeply cares for us, knows our needs, and has given us everything we need in Christ. As we humble ourselves, rejoice in the Lord, pray with thanksgiving, and fix our thoughts on God’s truth, His peace guards our hearts and minds. True peace comes not from changed circumstances, but from trusting who God is and remembering who we are as His children.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Where do you tend to live most often: past regrets, future worries, or the present moment with God, and why?
What worries are you most tempted to hold onto instead of “giving them to God,” and what makes them hard to release?
Which practice from Philippians 4 (rejoicing, praying with thanksgiving, or fixing your thoughts on truth) would most help you experience God’s peace right now?

Merry Christmas!!!
What are we really longing for at Christmas? Drawing from Matthew 1, this message explores the deep human ache for presence...not independence. From the garden to the manger to the cross, Scripture reveals a God who doesn’t stay distant but comes near. Jesus, Immanuel...God with us...was born to close the distance sin created and to dwell with us forever. If you’ve ever felt alone, this Christmas message offers comfort, hope, and the good news that because of Jesus, you are never truly alone.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Where do you most feel the ache of “being alone” right now? Is it tied to loss, disappointment, fear, or something harder to name?
The sermon said, “Sin isn’t just about what we’ve done...it’s about distance.” Where do you sense “distance” in your relationship with God right now?
What difference does it make to hear that Christmas means “God came to be with us,” not just to forgive us? How might that be different from how you usually think about Jesus?
The sermon ended with: “You’re not home alone. And because of Jesus, you never will be.” What would it look like if you chose to believe this fact over whatever feeling comes your way?
Take a moment to reflect and rest in the presence of Jesus. If you struggle with this, ask Him to meet you right now and to teach you what this means. He is the most interested party in this relationship.

What if the quiet ache beneath your busyness, stress, and exhaustion is really a longing for joy? Not hype. Not fleeting happiness. But a joy that lasts, even when life feels heavy.
In this Advent message, we explore how Christmas doesn’t give us instructions to find joy, but an announcement that joy has come. From Luke 2 and Romans 15, we’re reminded that joy isn’t something we achieve through better circumstances or stronger emotions. It’s something we receive when we remember what’s already true in Christ.
If you’re tired of joy that fades, weary from trying to manufacture excitement, or longing for a joy that doesn’t require you to perform, this message is for you. Discover how true joy grows as we trust the good news: you are fully forgiven, deeply loved, completely secure, and never alone...because the Savior has come.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Where do you most notice joy fading in your everyday life?
Which of the “indicators” stood out to you the most, and why do you think that one hit close to home? (Celebrations not sticking, emptiness after getting what you wanted, exhaustion from manufacturing excitement, nostalgia, or performance pressure.)
How have you typically thought about joy before this message? More connected to circumstances, feelings, or something fragile?
Which gospel truth feels hardest for you to trust right now? (Fully forgiven, united with Christ, deeply loved, secure, or complete. What makes that one challenging to believe?)

Have you ever looked at your life and thought, “I don’t have the tools to fix this”? The harder you try...self-help, success, therapy, politics, better habits...the more stuck you feel. Anxiety grows. Anger leaks out. Old patterns won’t loosen. You’re not just tired…you’re lost.
This Advent message goes straight to that quiet, aching longing we all carry: the need for real rescue. Not advice. Not motivation. Not another strategy, but help from Someone stronger than us.
Through the Christmas story in Luke 2, we’re reminded that Jesus didn’t come as a life coach or moral example. He came as a Savior. For the helpless. For the wandering. For those who’ve tried to save themselves and found it only made things worse.
If you’ve ever felt alone, overwhelmed, or afraid that you’re doing irreparable damage to your life, this message is for you. Christmas declares this good news: you don’t have to fix yourself. A Shepherd has come. A Rescuer has been born.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
When in your own life have you felt like you were “stripping the bolts”—trying harder and harder to fix something in yourself, only to feel more stuck?
When you hear Scripture describe humanity as “lost” or “helpless” (Isa. 53:6, Jer. 50:6, Luke 19:10), what feelings rise in you—resistance, relief, confusion? Why?
Of the four “secular rescue stories” we reviewed (self-help, consumerism, therapy-as-savior, ideology), which one are you most tempted to trust apart from God? What does it promise you?
What part of the announcement “A Savior is born to you” (Luke 2:11) encourages you personally this year?
What do you sense God leading you to do in response to your reflections?

If you’ve ever felt restless, homesick, or like something in life is just… missing—you’re not alone. This Advent message explores the deep ache we all carry for a place where everything is finally right. From the groaning of creation in Romans 8 to the story that began in Eden and culminates in Jesus’ arrival, we discover why our longings are real, where they come from, and why they point us home. In a world that feels weary and out-of-place, Advent reminds us that Home has come for us—and Home is coming again. If you’re tired, searching, or hoping for more, this episode invites you to the One who can finally satisfy the longing in your soul.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Where do you most feel the “longing for home” in your own life right now? (i.e. where do you
sense restlessness, incompleteness, or longing — even if things around you look “fine”?)
How does understanding that our original home with God was lost (Genesis 3) help you make
sense of the deep longings and frustrations you feel today?
In what ways has Jesus in His first coming (Advent) already begun restoring a sense of
“home” in your life? Where have you tasted that “foretaste of glory” Paul talks about in Romans
8:23?
How does the promise of our future home with God (Revelation 21; Romans 8; John 14)
reframe the way you view your temporary pains and/or unmet desires in the present?
What behavior or mindset would change in your life this week if you fully embraced the reality
of the HOME you have in Jesus (now and forever)?

In the grand finale of our Gospel of Mark series, we step into the shock, surprise, and life-changing power of the empty tomb. Mark 15:40–16:8 reveals unlikely heroes, unexpected grace, and a resurrection that doesn’t just change Jesus’ story, but ours. This message explores what it means to not just live from “Friday” (forgiveness and the cross) but to start living from “Sunday” (new life and resurrection power). Discover how the risen Christ rewrites your identity, restores your calling, and invites you to walk in the freedom of who you already are in Him. It’s time to live from Sunday.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
Where do you see yourself in the cast of “unlikely characters” at the cross and the empty tomb? How does it encourage you that God often works through the quiet, overlooked, or hesitant?
What are some “tombs” you tend to revisit (old stories, old shame, old ways of coping)? What would it look like to step into the newness He’s already given you?
What part of the resurrection story feels most personal or hopeful to you right now? Why does that particular truth land with you?
If resurrection isn’t just Christ’s story but ours, what changes about the way you see your identity and daily life? How does “living from Sunday” reshape the way you approach challenges, failures, or fears?

📖 Mark 15:33-39 + Psalm 22
In Psalm 22, David cries out, “My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?”...words that echo through a thousand years of history until they break from the lips of Jesus on the cross. In this week’s message, we explore the depths behind that cry and the breathtaking moment when the temple curtain tore from top to bottom.
Why would Jesus...who always prayed “My Father”...instead cry “My God”?
What does the darkness at the cross reveal about the cost of love?
And what does the torn curtain mean for your life, your failures, your fears, and the days you feel utterly alone?
This sermon walks through the agony, prophecy, and victory woven into Psalm 22 and fulfilled at Calvary. It’s a message for anyone who has ever felt abandoned, unseen, or unsure if God is still close.
The cross answers that question forever:
Jesus was forsaken so you never will be.
The barrier is torn.
You are not isolated...you are embraced.
Join us as we discover why the cries of the Cross are the final word over your life and why you can come boldly to the throne of grace.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
When was the last time you felt like you were abandoned by God?
The sermon said “don’t listen to the lie, listen to the CRY.” What lies are you most tempted to believe about God’s heart toward you?
What does the torn curtain tell you personally about God’s desire to be close to you & at work in you?
If Jesus was forsaken so you could be embraced, what would it look like for you to live as fully accepted by God this week? What would change if you believed this every day?
What confession would you make about Jesus based on what you’ve learned about Him in these verses?

In this message we slow down at the foot of the cross to see what really happened in Mark 15:21–32 and what it means for the parts of our story that feel the most broken. From Simon’s ordinary day colliding with God’s grace to Jesus stepping straight into our “Skull Places,” we discover a God who meets us in the dark, carries what we can’t, and declares a final verdict of freedom over us. If you’re tired, ashamed, or unsure where you stand with God, this message reminds you that the cross worked and your identity is secure.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
Where has God stepped into your “ordinary day” like He did for Simon? Where might He be doing that now?
What is your “Skull Place”…the part of your story you assume is too dark? How does Jesus walking into that place change your view of Him?
The mockers misunderstood the very thing that was saving them. Where do you misread God’s work in your life? What might God be doing behind the scenes there?
If the cross really worked, what truth about your identity is hardest to believe right now? What would change if you trusted His verdict?

How do you really know someone loves you? Not just by what they say but by what they’re willing to endure for you. In Mark 15, we see Jesus, the true King, mocked, beaten, and condemned. He could have stopped it, but He didn’t. Why? Because talk is cheap, and love proves itself through sacrifice.
If you’ve ever wondered whether God actually cares about you...if your pain, shame, or fear has made you question His heart...this story gives the answer. The King who wore a crown of thorns took on the curse meant for us so we could wear the crown of His grace.
Come and see the King who doesn’t just say He loves you. He shows up, suffers, and proves it.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
When was a time when someone showed up for you in a way that made you feel safe, supported, or loved?
How does Jesus’ willingness to endure suffering tell you about His love & His character?
If you were face to face with Jesus right now what would you want to say to Him about what He has done for you? (Turn this into a prayer)
How might the sufferings of Jesus help you face suffering in your life or the lives around you?
Is there anyone in your life right now that needs not just words, but love in action from you? How could you do that this week?

Have you ever said, “I can’t believe I just did that”? Maybe you crossed a line you thought you’d never cross...betrayed someone you love, spoke words you can’t take back, or failed God in a way that still makes you wince. In this week’s message from Mark 14, we look at Peter’s gut-wrenching denial of Jesus, and the moment he finally saw himself as he truly was: weak, broken, and unfaithful.
But Peter’s story doesn’t end in shame. It ends with Jesus meeting him again, not in anger, but in grace. In this message, we’ll explore:
The reality of human weakness,
The danger of overconfidence, and
The power for real change.
You’ll discover that Jesus isn’t surprised by your failures and that He’s already gone ahead of you to meet you in them. The Gospel truth is this: when we are faithless, He remains faithful.
If you’ve ever said, “I never thought I was capable of that,” this message is for you.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
What is the main thing you took away from these verses and message?
Peter said he’d never deny Jesus but he did. Where have you said “I’ll never” but did (to God, others, etc.)? (No shame only honesty)
Have you ever had a “rooster crow” moment where God woke you up to something? Or had His words flash across your mind?
How does the reality “Jesus has loves you at your worst” bring comfort and/or encouragement to you?
Who in your life needs to know about Jesus’ faithfulness to faithless people? Spend time praying for this person and for an opportunity to share.

We all like to think we love truth, until it disrupts our comfort. In Mark 14, Jesus faces people who twist His words and call truth dangerous. It still happens today. We ignore it, spin it, or fight it when it threatens our control. But the truth isn’t out to destroy us. It’s out to save us. In this message, discover how Jesus, the “I AM,” stands firm in the face of lies, offers forgiveness to those who reject Him, and invites us to let His truth set us free.
FOR GROUP DISCUSSION & REFLECTION:
Jesus declared “I AM” (claiming divinity) knowing it would cost Him His life. What does that teach us about Jesus?
When was the last time you were confronted or disrupted by something in the bible? How did you respond?
Is there anything in your life you’re self-justifying even though you know it’s sin or antithetical to God’s purposes for you?
In what ways have you seen biblical truth misrepresented today? How might you lovingly clarify or stand for truth in your relationships or community?
Despite being unjustly accused, beaten, and crucified, Jesus forgave His enemies. He even remains faithful to us when we lack faith. How does His grace comfort you today? How can His grace to us be extended to even those who try and discredit us?

We all want to be strong. To show up when it matters and be the kind of person Jesus can count on. But what happens when your strength runs out? When your resolve cracks and your best intentions collapse? In this message from Mark 14:27–42, we look at the night Jesus’ closest friends failed Him and discover the beauty of a Savior who never fails us. Strength isn’t found in trying harder. It’s found in trusting the One who lives in us.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
What are some ways we, like Peter, tend to put confidence in our own strength or spiritual performance?
What does it look like to let your failure become a “portal of grace” instead of a source of shame?
Jesus didn’t hide his distress in Gethsemane. How might honesty about your weakness actually deepen your dependence and connection with God and others?
Where in your life are you living before the “but” and letting feelings or circumstances have the final word?
What would it look like for us to help each other “stay awake” to live aware of His strength in us instead of running on self-effort?

In a world where control feels like an illusion and suffering seems senseless, is it possible that God still has a plan even in the chaos?
In this powerful message from Mark 14, we step into the Upper Room and discover that the cross was not a tragic accident, but the fulfillment of a sovereign plan written across the pages of Scripture. Jesus wasn’t overtaken by events. He orchestrated them. Down to the smallest detail.
If you've ever wondered, “Can I trust God when nothing makes sense?” this sermon is for you. You’ll see how:
Jesus had a PLAN (even when it didn’t make sense to others)
That plan was PROPHESIED long before it unfolded
And that plan had a PURPOSE—your redemption
This is not the story of a failed messiah. This is the story of a victorious Savior who drank the cup of suffering, so we could drink the cup of salvation.
Tune in and discover how the First Supper reshapes our view of suffering, trust, and the hope that’s still to come.
For Reflection & Discussion:
Jesus refused the final cup, pointing forward to the great banquet we will experience when God ushers in His heavenly eternal Kingdom. How does this promise of future joy help you persevere through present struggles?

📖 Mark 14:1-11
Have you ever felt like you’re holding on for dear life...your plans, your comfort, your identity...afraid that if you let go, you’ll lose everything? In this message from Mark 14, we meet two people who were both close to Jesus…but only one truly knew Him. Mary gave up what was most precious to her. Judas held on...and lost his soul.
This sermon speaks to the deep struggle we all face: Can I really trust God enough to surrender what I’m clinging to? Whether it's your relationships, your future, your sexuality, your money, or your pain… Jesus doesn’t ask you to clean it up. He asks you to lay it down.
If you’ve ever wondered what it really means to follow Jesus, and why it often feels like losing, you’ll find both comfort and challenge here. Because in the Kingdom of God, giving up your life is how you find it.
When you trust the Giver, surrender becomes freedom not loss.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
For Reflection & Discussion:
1. In what areas of your life do you most naturally live as a giver? What area of your life are you tempted to live more like a taker?
What led Mary to give such a precious & costly gift to Jesus?
The sermon reminded us that the deeper reason we resist giving is often lack of trust. What part of your life is hardest to trust God with right now? Why?
Mary's deed of giving pointed forward to Jesus' ultimate giving-His life and blood poured out for us. How does remembering His generosity change the way we approach giving & surrender?
What's 1 thing you feel God is leading you to do in response this week?

Are we living in the end times? With global unrest, personal hardship, and constant uncertainty, it’s easy to feel anxious or overwhelmed. But what if Jesus’ words about “the end” aren’t meant to stir fear, but to give us courage and clarity?
In this episode, we look at Jesus’ prophetic words in Mark 13, not as a cryptic code to crack, but as a Good Shepherd preparing His people for hard days ahead. As He warned His disciples about the fall of the Temple and the trials they would face, Jesus also gave them, and us, two clear instructions: Don’t worry. Don’t grow weary.
This message meets us in our fear, frustration, and fatigue...and offers something better: trust in a King who sees all, knows all, and holds the future. He hasn’t promised ease, but He has promised His presence, His power, and a purpose in the middle of the chaos.
If you’re feeling shaken by the world around you, this sermon is for you.
📖 Mark 13
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
What do I tend to place my confidence in (like the Temple) may seem impressive now but might ultimately prove irrelevant? How might Jesus want to re-shape that?
How does Jesus’ accurate prophecy about the Temple’s destruction encourage my trust in His words about my future?
When life feels chaotic or uncertain, what does it practically look like for me to “not worry” because God is in control?
Jesus said persecution and hardship would bring opportunities to testify. Where might God be calling me to use my challenges as opportunities to share the Good News?
“Don’t grow weary” — Where have you been tempted to give up but you know you shouldn’t? What do you sense Jesus is saying or would say to you about that?

📖 Mark 12:35-44
Are you tired of pretending? Exhausted from trying to look like you have it all together spiritually?
In this message, we confront the difference between surface-level religion and a real, life-giving relationship with Jesus. Through a bold question, a harsh warning, and an unlikely hero, Jesus shows us what authentic faith really looks like and exposes the fakes we often fall for.
If your version of Jesus feels small, distant, or powerless...maybe it's a shrink-wrapped version of Jesus.
Beware the fakes.
Behold the real.
Believe in the Greater Giver.
Discover the freedom of no longer having to fake it, because the real Jesus didn’t just give His two cents...He gave His whole life for you.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
In what ways do we sometimes shrink Jesus down into a version that feels safer or more manageable? Which of the “knockoff versions” of Jesus (rule-enforcer, mascot, genie, etc.) do you most relate to or have struggled with?
Jesus warned, “Beware” of religious fakes. What are some modern-day examples of “all show, no life” religion you’ve seen? How can we guard our hearts against falling into the same trap?
The poor widow gave her whole livelihood, while the rich gave out of their surplus. What does this story reveal about trust, generosity, and where we find our security?
How does seeing Jesus as the greater Giver—the One who poured out His very life—change the way we approach giving, serving, or even daily living?
“No show, just life.” What would it look like for you, this week, to rest in the life of Jesus instead of trying to perform, prove, or fake it?

📖 Mark 12:28-34
What truly defines success in life and faith? In this sermon from Mark 12:28–34, we explore Jesus’ profound answer: Love. Through the lens of a powerful modern story and timeless scripture, we examine the Priority, Pain, and Power of love...not as a feeling, but as a sacrificial, action-oriented choice. Discover how God’s unfailing love fuels our ability to love Him and others, and why love is the only measure that truly matters in God’s Kingdom.
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Priority of Love – Jesus said the greatest commandment is to love God and love others. What does this tell us about the character of God?
Redefining Priorities – In the story of Chris Gardner (The Pursuit of Happiness), love—not worldly achievement—was the true measure of success. How does God’s definition of success through love challenge the way you tend to measure success?
3 Pain of Love – C.S. Lewis said “to love is to be vulnerable to be hurt”. Where have you experienced the pain or cost of loving others? What fears or barriers keep you from loving the way Jesus calls us to?
4 Power to Love – The sermon emphasized that we only gain the power to love when we remember how deeply God has loved us in Christ. How does reflecting on the cross give you strength to love when it feels hard or inconvenient?
5 Growth in Love – Are you a more loving person than you were last year? How would you honestly answer that? What is one intentional step you can take this week to grow in love for God and others?

Before you build high, you’ve got to go deep. Just like towering buildings needed deep pillars to stand strong on unstable ground, the Church—God’s people—needs a strong foundation to carry the weight, last through the years, and withstand the storms of life.
This week, we're exploring the pillars of Generation: Gospel, Family and Mission.
The Gospel is not about what we’ve done, but what Jesus has done for us. How He loved us before the world began, rescued us while we were dead in sin, and adopted us into His family through sheer grace.
This is the hill we die on.
From this foundation flow the other two pillars: Family and Mission.

Why is it so hard to admit when we’re wrong? In this message from Mark 11–12, we explore Jesus' confrontation with religious leaders who refused to repent, despite every warning, story, and sign pointing them back to God. Like Ebenezer Scrooge, we all face a choice: ignore the truth or humbly confess, “I was wrong.” But confession isn't weakness. Rather, it's the first step to freedom, healing, and life built on the true Cornerstone.
This message challenges us to find the courage to:
When we do, we discover that grace meets us right where we are.

Jump in as Tim unpacks not only what makes a great athlete, but what defines a true follower of Jesus. Don’t miss this invitation to reflect, respond, and follow the King who still asks, “What do you want me to do for you?”

Have you ever been drawn in by something that looked amazing, only to be let down when you got close? That’s exactly what Jesus walks into in Mark 11. A fig tree that promised fruit but had none. A temple that promised God’s presence but had been hijacked by religious performance.
In this message, we see Jesus confront fake appearances, empty religion, and the systems that keep people from truly knowing God. He isn’t interested in leafy looks without fruit or hollow rituals without heart.
Jesus didn’t come to improve the system. He came to end it.
He came to bring the end of pretending.
This is a call to stop performing, stop faking, and start living in the real freedom Jesus offers. It’s time to trade appearances for authenticity.
It’s time to rest in His finished work.
📖 Mark 11:12-25
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
“Jesus didn’t come to curse you; He came to be cursed for you.” How does this truth reshape the way you respond to failure, sin, or shame in your life, and help you stop pretending and walk in freedom?

What does it truly mean to be great? In a culture that idolizes fame, power, and personal achievement, Jesus offers a radically different definition: “Whoever wants to be great must be your servant.” In this message, we explore Mark 10 and Jesus’ call to humility, unpacking the confusion surrounding greatness and how pride often cheats us of what God has for us. Through the disciples’ misunderstanding, the example of Christ, and real-life reflections, we confront our own ambition and discover the freeing, powerful path of humble service. Greatness isn’t out of reach, it’s found in giving ourselves away. Let’s pursue true greatness together.

In this message, Peter DeSoto unpacks one of Jesus’ shortest yet most impactful parables. With personal stories about becoming a grandpa, thought-provoking truths about how our attention follows our investments, and real-world financial insights, we’re invited to rethink what true wealth really means in God’s Kingdom.
Explore how to:
✔️ See wealth through Jesus’ eyes
✔️ Trust God’s limitless provision
✔️ Live for eternal returns
✔️ Pursue joy that fuels a Kingdom-focused life
If you missed it, or just want to hear it again, this is a message worth revisiting. True treasure isn’t what we keep… it’s what we give for what lasts forever.
📖 Matthew 13:44
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
What do I currently treasure most in life, and how does that align with what Jesus calls true wealth?
How does my spending or investing reflect what I value spiritually?
What does it look like for me to “lay up treasure in heaven” in my daily decisions and priorities?
In what areas am I struggling to trust God’s provision, and how can I begin to release that fear?
How can I pursue joy that’s rooted in eternity, not just in temporary success or comfort?

What does it really cost to follow Jesus? In Mark 10, a wealthy young man asks one of life’s most important questions: “What must I do to inherit eternal life?” Jesus’ answer cuts deeper than commandments. He reveals the condition of the heart.
In this message, we explore what it means to trust fully, to confess humbly, and to believe, despite the cost, that following Jesus will be worth it. Whether you’ve built your life around success, security, or stuff… this passage invites us to surrender what we cling to, so we can receive what truly lasts.
🙏 With God, all things are possible.
💬 Watch now and consider: What’s holding you back?
📖 Mark 10:17-31
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Why do you think money can so easily become a "god" for people? What does money promise to provide?
If God is asking you to give up "one thing", what do you sense He's pointing to?
Jesus said, "With man it's impossible but with God all things are possible." Do you think there are limits to that? Why or why not?
"You cannot out give God" - Jesus promises rewards for things we've surrendered. How have you seen God reward you or others?
How does Jesus' sacrifice motivate you to sacrifice for His Kingdom?

Hell. It’s one of the most uncomfortable, often rejected teachings in the Bible, yet Jesus spoke of it more than anyone else. Why? This message confronts the hard truths found in Jesus’ words about judgment, warning, and the eternal consequences of a life lived apart from God. But it does so with an unexpected twist: showing how even the doctrine of hell can lead us to deeper self-awareness, peace, and a clearer picture of God’s love.
Through the story of the rich man and Lazarus, we explore three counterintuitive truths:
Hell helps us understand where we find our identity
Hell helps us live at peace in a broken world
Hell helps us know the radical, sacrificial love of Jesus
This is not a message of fear, but of rescue, a sobering yet hope-filled invitation to find your life, your peace, and your future in the only One who faced the fire so you would never have to.
📖 Mark 9:42-48 & Luke 16:19-31
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Where or what in your life are you most tempted to place your identity in: work / $ / looks / relationships, etc?
How is getting your identity from Christ alone a freeing reality for you?
How does God’s ultimate justice & judgement help you love an “enemy” or difficult person in your life, or even a global evil?
How does Jesus’ suffering on the cross help you understand His love for you?
What does it feel like knowing you are loved by God radically and unconditionally?

What does Jesus really say about divorce, and how does the gospel meet us in the mess? In this honest and hope-filled message from Mark 10, we unpack God’s beautiful design for marriage, the heartbreak of broken relationships, and the mercy of Jesus for real-life pain. Whether you’re married, single, divorced, or somewhere in between, there’s grace here for you.
📖 Mark 10:1-16
DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:
Jesus highlights three key aspects of God’s design for marriage—gender, union, and permanence. How do these elements reflect God’s intention for marriage, and why do you think Jesus redirects the conversation from divorce to this original design?
“Grace isn’t afraid of your story!” How does Jesus’ compassion, as described in the sermon, challenge or encourage you to approach your own struggles or the struggles of others with grace rather than condemnation?
In Mark 10:13-16, Jesus emphasizes receiving the Kingdom of God like a child. What does it mean to approach God with “empty hands of faith,” and how can this perspective help us navigate complex issues like divorce or relational brokenness?
The sermon mentions the importance of trusted community (e.g., living rooms, kitchen tables, counseling offices) for navigating marital strife or complex life situations. How can the church foster a safe and supportive environment for people dealing with difficult relational challenges, and what role can you play in that?

In this powerful message, the focus shifts from fear-based interpretations of judgment to Jesus’ deeper call: to live a salty life. Drawing from Mark 9, we see Jesus correct His disciples’ pride and division, urging them—and us—to embody the preserving, enhancing, peace-making qualities of salt. Being “salty” means living humbly, encouraging others, offering everyday acts of love, and taking sin seriously, not out of shame, but in light of our gospel identity. Ultimately, we’re reminded that Jesus, the true Salt of the Earth, took on the judgment we deserved so that we could live empowered lives of influence, unity, and grace.
📖 Mark 9:38-50
Reflection Questions:
Jesus challenges the disciples' exclusivity in verse 40 (“Anyone who is not against us is for us”). In what ways might we still be tempted to adopt an “us vs. them” mindset in our faith communities today?
How can we become people who are known more for what we're for than what we're against?
Jesus says even a small act, like giving a cup of water, will be rewarded. What simple, everyday acts of faithfulness or kindness might God be calling you to take more seriously?
Where have you seen God work through “small things” in your own life or others’?
Jesus uses strong language to describe the seriousness of sin and our influence on others. What areas of your life do you sense God calling you to greater vigilance or accountability in?
How can we as a community help one another walk in our gospel identity without falling into legalism or shame?
“Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another” (v. 50). What does it look like for you personally to “live salty” as a preserver and enhancer of life in your relationships, workplace, or church?
Jesus is described as the true and better Salt: He preserves, enhances, purifies, and brings peace. How does understanding what Jesus has done for you deepen your desire and ability to live the “salty life”?

Our world is obsessed with greatness...who’s the best, the most admired, the ultimate GOAT (Greatest of All Time). But in Mark 9, Jesus flips the script. As His disciples argue about status, Jesus redefines greatness not as climbing higher, but as stepping lower: becoming the servant of all, welcoming the overlooked, and embracing inconvenience as a pathway to love.
In this powerful and timely message, we’re invited to detox from our culture’s obsession with status and rediscover a greatness rooted in humility, service, and the freedom that comes from knowing who we are in Christ. If you’re tired of the pressure to prove yourself, this sermon offers a freeing alternative: let Jesus be your greatness, so you can be free to love.

On the mountaintop, Jesus is transfigured before His disciples, and God the Father interrupts their confusion with a clear command: “This is my beloved Son… listen to Him.” In a world full of competing voices, this moment cuts through the noise and reminds us: Jesus alone is the One we must trust and follow. Welcome to Generation Church!
Ever feel like you’re constantly being measured—by others, by yourself, even by the church? The unspoken rules. The scorecards. The pressure to prove you’re “doing it right.” Turns out, this isn’t new.
In Mark 7, Jesus goes head-to-head with the religious scorekeepers of His day, exposing the problem with man-made traditions: they look holy but miss the heart. The real issue isn’t what’s on the outside—it’s what’s inside. And no amount of rule-keeping can fix that.
But here’s the good news: Jesus didn’t come to hand us another checklist. He came to set us free. Free from the weight of trying to measure up. Free to live from a new heart—one that He gives, not one we earn.
So the question is: Are you holding onto tradition…or Truth?

Welcome to Generation Church!
Life can feel like an endless battle against the wind and waves—struggles we didn’t ask for, storms we never saw coming. Maybe you’ve wondered, Why would God allow this? Maybe you’ve tried to fight your way through on your own, paddling harder, grasping for control, questioning if Jesus even sees you.
But what if the storm isn’t proof of His absence, but the very place He’s revealing His power?
In Mark 6, the disciples find themselves in deep trouble—rowing hard, making no progress, exhausted, afraid. Then Jesus comes through the storm to meet them. He doesn’t calm the waves first—He walks on them. He doesn’t wait for their fear to subside—He speaks into it: Take courage! I am here!
Step into this story and see that Jesus is more than enough in the storm. More than enough for our fear, our striving, our need. The very winds that threaten to sink us might just be the stage for Him to show us who He really is.

Many of us live with a shrink-wrapped view of the gospel. Sure, at salvation it was the GREATEST news ever, but over time we lost sight of just how incredible God's grace is and continues to be. We slipped into the performance trap of trying to become something we already are in Christ. Our joy is gone and we wonder what happened. What if the good news of the gospel is far better than we realize? Jesus said the truth would set us free. Let's take Him at His word. Let's dive into some amazing truths that are already true about every Christian right now so that we can walk in freedom!

Welcome to Generation Church!
These last few weeks we've seen teachings of Jesus in parable form. This week we get to see some of those parables take shape in Jesus' journey with His disciples. We get to see the seeds of the Kingdom produce both external and internal peace. Join us this Sunday as we celebrate our 4th Sunday of Advent and light the candle of PEACE! If you or someone you love needs more peace in your life, this Sunday is for you!

Welcome to Generation Church!
What do we do with 2000 year old parables of Jesus talking about seeds, and lamps, and old testament references about the prophet Isaiah? Glad you asked! This Sunday we look at how Jesus used these parables (stories) to prepare His team for the journey ahead. It's hard to understand at times how God is working and moving in the world. But Jesus gives us insights by telling us these parables. I have found these uniquely encouraging and accurate as I seek to invest in other people's lives spiritually and I hope you will too! Often... the impact we're having is significantly bigger than we could ever imagine. Can't wait to worship and dive into God's word together with you this Sunday!

Welcome to Generation Church!
This Sunday we look at the day Jesus healed a man with a deformed hand on the Sabbath. It's one of those moments in scripture that are both amazing and depressing. The amazing part is we see Jesus restore a life. The depressing part is the response of some of the crowd. Their response reveals that there was a deeper deformation that day than just the man's hand. How does Jesus respond to such critical and resentful people? His reaction might surprise you. Come this Sunday as we dive into these scriptures and uncover Jesus' heart of restoration, it's gonna be a GREAT day together!

In talking with friends and acquaintances who don't know or follow Jesus, I always find it fascinating to hear what barriers keep them from believing the Gospel. I also find myself compelled to help one of those barriers be removed! It's heartbreaking to hear about barriers to faith in Jesus. In this chunk of scripture we are presented with two large barriers to faith. One is the barrier of comprehension, the other is the barrier of scripture. You might ask, how are comprehension (understanding) and scriptures barriers to faith? Well that's exactly what Jesus teaches us in the verses we're going to study! I hope you join us and experience breakthroughs with any barriers you have. I also hope this is an equipping time to help you be an agent of grace in the lives of others! Grace & Peace to you today church family!

We have seen pretty quickly in our study of Mark's gospel account that Jesus is on a mission! He has come to seek and save the lost. He has come to heal. He has come to deliver. But not everyone seems to be in favor of what he's up to... why not? What stops people from being excited and supportive of what Jesus is up to in the world? What might even stop us today? We unpack all of that and much more this Sunday... hope to see you there!

Deep down in all of us is a longing for good and righteous leadership. As we look across the globe it's agonizing to see the level of corruption, greed, and evil in people with positions of power. Here in the States we also feel the frustration and exasperation when people in positions of power are betraying those they have been sworn to oversee. The initial readers of Mark's gospel understood all of this and much more. They were in an atrocious position under the dictatorship of Emperor Nero. Also for many, their longing for good and upright leadership was going to go unmet in their Roman political landscape. So what kept them from throwing in the towel? What kept the church of Rome from just hiding out and slowly fading away? What did this group of "insignificant" people need to know so they could push back against a kingdom of massive evils? Mark tells us all of that in this next section of scripture we will look at this Sunday together! We are so pumped to continue this study in the Gospel of Mark and pray this Sunday encourages you for where God has placed you.

There are countless societal problems in 2024 and they appropriately can create a lot of angst in us. But it's safe to say our issues as Americans pale in comparison to the issues of the first Christian readers of Mark's Gospel. This was a time when people (specifically Christians) were being burned alive and fed to wild animals. Under such horrific circumstances what would Mark write to start his gospel account? What would he take the opportunity to say to encourage these troubled brothers and sisters? What would the Holy Spirit inspire to meet them where they were at? If you or any of your friends are feeling discouraged or overwhelmed in any way, join us this Sunday! There is Good News for you awaiting!

Welcome to Generation Church!
As we close out this series on Prayer, lets bring it back to where we started..."Our Father." These are the first words Jesus taught His disciples when He taught them to pray and they are words loaded with Good News. Over and over in the Gospels Jesus applauds the "childlike" and teaches us to pray to our Father. So what does that mean for us in prayer? How do we "come to God in childlikeness?" What does that look like in everyday life? Lets dive into all of that and more as we wrap up this series.
Scripture: Luke 10:17-21

We’re diving into the often misunderstood and sometimes frustrating world of prayer. While prayer is meant to be a simple conversation with God, it can also bring a lot of pressure and raise tough questions. Are we doing it wrong? Am I doing it enough? Is there something wrong with me? Why does it seem like God is silent? Join us as we "troubleshoot" some of these questions head-on and rediscover the freedom that comes from connecting with our heavenly Father through prayer. Don’t miss this chance to be encouraged and refreshed in your prayer life!

Welcome to Generation Church!
When you think of someone praying...what image comes to your mind? My other guess is that the most common answer will be "a person with their head down, eyes closed, hands clasped, and sitting in silence." The question then is, is that how Jesus would coach us to pray? Is there a specific posture? Should it be quiet, silent, loud, or something else? This week like every week we'll dive into the scriptures and find incredibly practical help in our Praying Lives. Specifically we will look at how often God uses walking to connect with humans and what that might mean for each of us!

Welcome to Generation Church!
Join us for a message called "Tuned In." We're going to look at Jesus' teaching the Gospel of John chapter 10 and the role listening takes in our prayer lives. Many people think of prayer mostly as what I do, say, or even how I speak to God. Those aren't wrong but they are only part of our communication with God. Those also assume that we're the only ones doing the talking in prayer. Yet the bible reveals robust examples cover to cover of how God speaks to His people and is the initiator of the conversation. Sunday we will dive into Jesus' plain teachings on how He is the Good Shepherd and His sheep recognize His voice and follow. We will look at the power, expectation, and discernment needed to live a praying life "Tuned In" to the voice of Jesus.

Welcome to Generation Church!
Last week Jesus taught us that a significant part of a praying life includes making space for acknowledging the Holiness of God. This is the "Hallowed be thy name" portion of the Lord's prayer. This week we're double clicking on that movement "Hallowed be thy name" of the Lord's prayer. Hallowed means to set apart as Holy, matchless, unique and awesome. It's possible the "prayer" we need most is to turn our eyes upon Him and simply stand in awe of God! May we look full in His wonderful face, and let the things of earth grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.

How do you pray? When do you pray? What is prayer? These are all questions we're excited to talk through in this new series on prayer! In week one, we explore what Jesus meant when He said to His disciples "This is how you should pray..." It's pretty sweet that we don't have to wonder, in fact Jesus came to remove the confusion and bring clarity to how we can pray, experience a deeper relationship with Him, and cultivate a Praying Life. Our hope is that you would begin to experience greater intimacy with God and that over the course of these 7 weeks you'd learn to connect with Him in the midst of this distracted world.

Welcome to Generation Church!
“It’s not so much what happens to us in life that shapes us, it’s what we tell ourselves about what happened to us that shapes us.” ― Tim Keller
Living in a broken world, it's tempting for us to believe we are what we do or what has happened to us. These lies can have a powerful grip on us, keeping us from stepping into the freedom that is ours in Christ.
Thankfully, we don't need to stay in that place of bondage. The gospel is good news of Truth that sets us free from the lies that deceive us. Learn who you are and WHOSE you are in this powerful message from John 1:1-18.

We live in a world of distraction. Attention spans are getting shorter. The multitude of time wasting activity is at an all time high, squeezing out and obscuring the truly beneficial and productive gospel living we've been called to. This is nothing new. In fact, this is the very thing Paul warns Titus about as he closes his letter and the very thing we need to hear today. Join us as we wrap up our series through Titus and be empowered by grace to eliminate the weapons of mass distraction in our life.

Welcome to Generation!
Have you ever gone somewhere for a mission trip? Usually mission trips are filled with a lot of mixed experiences. There are moments when you're filled with excitement, joy, and purpose. There are also moments where you're filled with frustration, discomfort, and a longing to "just be in my own bed." But if you ask most people how their trip went, almost always they say something like..."it was life changing." Why is that? What is it about mission trips that have such a profound impact on us? At minimum, it's because every day is a day of purpose. And every day on a mission trip is filled with expectancy and hope. So what stops us from waking up every day with a mission trip mentality? What stops us from living with purpose and hope? Or better yet... how can we bring that purpose and joy into every day? That's what we're diving into as we close out Titus chapter 2.

Have you ever had someone ask you "what type of church do you go to?" It's hard to know what they're asking, or how to answer. Are they asking what size or what kind of music we play or what people look like? What is a type? Is that a question about denominational affiliation or ethnicity or theological position? In some ways it would have been really nice to be a part of the first century church. There were no denominations yet, no worship wars, no "types"... it was simply The Church that existed in whatever city or town you lived in. But that didn't mean they were free from issues. Far from it. We've already seen Paul instructing Titus on how to help the church from falling into various problem patterns. Yet as we've seen this isn't a corrective letter to Titus, it's also an encouragement and coaching to Titus. So back to that question..."What type of church are we?" Well, amongst other things... we're a church where everyone matters. If there's a simple message in these first 8 verses of Chapter 2 it's... "You Matter!" Old, young, male, female... YOU MATTER. We're the type of church where everyone has a role to play in serving and building one another up in the Gospel. That's a piece of the good news we dig into this Sunday!

Since its inception, the Church has had to guard against false teachings that threaten to rob believers of the freedom found in the gospel. Paul urgently commands Titus to appoint qualified elders who can refute these errors and guide others to live lives shaped by the gospel. But what specific false teachings must Titus guard against, and what truths are under attack? This compelling message explores the necessity of confronting false teachings and embracing the truth that sets us free.

Leadership matters. No matter what organization, business, team, or church... the way the leadership goes has an incredible impact on everyone else. So what does the bible say about what type of person should be a leader in a church? Why does that matter for you? This is what Paul writes to Titus in the 2nd part of our series. We hope you can join us as we look at what God prioritizes in leadership as well as how this can help us know where He is inviting us each to grow in our gospel impact with those around us.

Welcome to Generation!
This week we kick off our 7 week series studying the Epistle of Titus. This is a short but loaded letter from the Apostle Paul to Titus his "son in the faith." It's a really sweet glimpse into the world of the first century that isn't too dissimilar from our own. This series will be called Titus: Theology for Every Day. The reason for that title is we see a heavy emphasis on what it looks like to have Jesus shaping the way we live day in and day out. This first Sunday we'll look at the introduction and some of what Paul wants Titus to know before he goes into a pretty big job ahead of him. What would you say to a close friend or family member before they tackle a big challenge? What would you want a fellow christian to know before they step into the unknown? Paul gives us some beautiful encouragement for every day right out the gate and we hope you can join us to dig into what those are!

This week we tackle our final letter of the P.I.E.R. culture acronym... the "R" which stands for Real. We are committed to creating a culture that is real. We don't want to "play church" we want real relationships, even if they're messy. Being real with yourself, God, and others is an uncommon but incredible gift of Grace. We're all too familiar with the pain of fake friends or fake people. People we thought were one way then turned out to be another. Yet, if we're totally honest with ourselves, we sometimes do the same things. We can tend to project an image of ourselves that impresses. And at the worst...sometimes the fakest person in our life can be the one looking at us in the mirror! So what do we do? How can we take off the masks? How can we live authentically and transparently with God and others? This is what we will be asking Jesus as we look at His words and His work in Scripture!

This week we dive into our third letter of P.I.E.R. Culture, the "E" for Empathetic. Sometimes I am simply blown away at the empathy of Jesus revealed in scriptures. I am blown away at his patience, his desire to listen, his gentleness, and so much more. This Sunday we zoom into a few moments in Jesus' public ministry that help us understand why creating an Empathetic culture is so important as a church. We hope you join us as we continue creating the P.I.E.R. culture here at Generation and beyond!

In part 2 of our new series we dig into the second letter in our P.I.E.R. Culture acronym. "I" for Intentional. A culture of intentionality is a beautiful thing. Intentionality might be one of the most accurate words to describe the character of Jesus. He was anything but flippant, accidental or flaky! So it should be no surprise to us that when He inhabits a people they become intentional people! So what does Intentionality act like and feel like? Why should we be intentional? How do we grow or find the strength to be intentional in our service to others? This is what we get to dive into as we study the story of Jesus washing feet in John chapter 13. Jump in as we continue to build Gospel Culture as the church in everything we do and everywhere we go!
With the constant bombardment of marketing messages and frenzied clamoring for your attention, it's easy to get caught up in the confusion of what really matters. Each day, we're being pointed to a thousand different things that all promise to fix our biggest problems and resolve our deepest fears. Sadly, this confusion can happen in the church as well when we're pointed to endless array of self-improvement plans and a litany of "do more for God" messages, rather than being pointed to the glorious news of what Jesus has done for us. It's high time for the church to bring clarity to the confusion. Instead of pointing to a thousand different things for hope, we're going to point to Jesus. Join us for Part 1 of our new mini-series: P.I.E.R.: Creating a Gospel Culture.

We will conclude our series in Psalms this Easter by diving into the prophetic words of Psalm 16. A fascinating prophecy of David that one of his descendants would come about a 1000 years after his own life and be the means of God's presence and eternal pleasure forever more! Gratitude has an amazing power in our lives. It has been said "you can't be BOTH anxious and thankful at the same time." Expressing gratitude has a way of overpowering all the other forces battling for our minds & souls. In Psalm 118 we dive into an outpouring of thankfulness from the Psalmist. What is he thankful for? Why? Why does that have anything to do with our lives today? If you're struggling with fear, anxiety, or weakness... this is a Psalm for you because in Him we have safety, strength, and salvation! "Give thanks to the Lord for He is good, His faithful love endures forever!"

"Are you close to God? How close? What are you doing to get closer? How close are you now? How about now?" Ok...timeout. I don't know about you, but all this talk about "getting closer to God" can often have the opposite impact, leaving me feeling distant and discouraged. What gives? What if we have it all wrong? What if you didn't have to worry and wonder about how close you were to God? What if you could actually know? Well, that sounds a-ma-zing! Join us as we jump in to Psalm 84 and talk about all God has done to meet our longing for closeness.

Welcome to Generation Church!
Hopelessness is a powerful feeling. It's one of the most agonizing places to be mentally and yet it's shocking how often we can wrestle with some level of hopelessness in our lives. Sometimes it's hopelessness around our health, sometimes relationships, sometimes finances, sometimes all of the above and then some. Many people drown in the feeling of hopelessness... can't see a way out, can't see a way forward, can't see anything good coming. If you've ever felt that way this is the message for you. We are diving into Psalm 77 that tackles hopelessness head on. The message is titled "Overcoming Hopelessness" and Psalm 77 gives us just that... a way to overcome! We hope you can join us for this huge dose of encouragement coming! Share this with a friend who is struggling as well. God is going to deposit hope in a mighty way!

Welcome to Generation Church!
Have you ever looked at someone in your life and thought... "it's just not fair!" Maybe they are in better health, have more money, or just seem to be succeeding in life even though they're dishonest? It's easy to fall into the trap of envy. It's even easy to fall into a cycle of self pity. How do you snap out of those moments?
As we dive into Psalm 73 we see almost this exact situation... the Psalmist is crying out to God..."Why do wicked people seem to prosper and my life is so hard!?" There is so much to learn from this raw & honest psalm. Most importantly, we can learn what we need to free our souls from bitterness and envy.
We hope you can join us as we take one more massive step toward greater health in our relationship with Jesus and each other!

Living in a beautiful yet broken world means we will experience a whole spectrum of emotions, including despair and depression. It can be spiritually debilitating. What are we to do in these moments? How are we to respond? Is there hope? Thankfully, we're not alone in this. In fact, the authors of Psalms have been there, done that...and wrote extremely honest songs about it all that we can glean from. If you've ever felt spiritually in the dumps, there is good news for you! Come join in as we explore the causes and cure of spiritual depression in Psalm 42.
Psalm 23 is possibly the most popular chapter in the entire Bible. It's known by many people in the secular world and across the religious landscape. Charles Spurgeon called it "The Pearl of the Psalms." What is it about these verses that strikes such a deep chord within humanity? Why is there anything positive about referring to yourself as a sheep? Why have so many people found incredible comfort and healing through these verses? Jump into this episode and find out!
Join us as we continue our series in the book of Psalms. This week we are focusing on Psalm 18. Grab your Bible and a ready heart, and let's jump in together!

The Psalms are the "prayerbook" or "songbook" of the Bible and this Sunday we start off looking deeply at Psalm 1... shocker right? Psalm 1 & 2 are unique to the other 148 Psalms... in many ways Psalm 1 serves as a lens with which we can approach the rest of the Psalter. Specifically, Psalm 1 lays out the Way to a Blessed Life or the type of person who lives a blessed life. I like that sound of that! Blessed Life? Who doesn't want that? How do we get that? Or how do we get more of a blessed life? The Psalmist shows us there is a way to the blessed life and we are excited to unpack that with you!
In any sport or activity the first thing you learn are the "fundamentals." They're the most basic elements of success... the building blocks so to speak for growth. Fundamentals in learning can be reading and writing; in sports they can be blocking, tackling, dribbling, passing, catching... the list goes on and on. Here's the thing though, no matter how proficient you become at a thing, you never outgrow the fundamentals. In fact, if you forget or don't execute fundamentals even as a "professional" (e.g. Philadelphia Eagles defense not tackling) you fail! So what is the fundamental building block of the Christian? What is the thing we need to repeat over and over again? This is our topic this Sunday as we dig into Jesus' words from the Gospel of Luke. We hope you join us!
There's a lot of talk in the church about living the Christian life. It seems like we're constantly being told how to live for God. And it seems like the holy thing to do, right? Well, what if God isn't actually asking you to live for Him? What if He never intended for you to live the Christian life? What if this whole thing we call "the Christian life" is much different (and better) then we ever realized? We believe it is! Join us as we dive into John 15 and discover why.
Friendship is such a beautiful gift. But sadly, it's a gift fewer and fewer are experiencing. Research is showing the majority of US Adults are struggling to find, keep, or maintain close friendships. This has resulted in what some are calling "A Crisis of Friendship" in America leading to increased rates of loneliness and isolation. What can we do to change these tragic trends? How can scripture help us in the midst of increasingly lonely times? How can we find lasting and close friendships? How can we be an agent of hospitality in an increasingly lonely world? Jesus has much to say to us about all of this! Come join us as we dive into His Good News about Friendship!
Learn how your identity in Christ sets you free from the feelings of inadequacy and empowers you to live the fruitful life Christ has planned for you.

Welcome to Christmas Eve at Generation 2023!
This time of year, especially around church culture we're hearing the stories surrounding the birth of Christ. They are amazing stories of fear, trust, hope, genocide, escape, worship, etc. There is no shortage of inspiration to draw from the stories of Christmas. The stories of Christmas tell us what happened but they don't necessarily tell us what Christmas IS. What is Christmas? Is it a Holiday? A Holy Day? A myth? A true story? Sometimes knowing what Christmas ISN'T is just as important as knowing what Christmas IS! So come join us Sunday for a little contrasting... we'll be looking at what Christmas ISN'T... so that we can know what it IS. And here's a hint... it's not a tradition... it's not advice... it's not information... oh no, it's SO MUCH MORE!

Christmas is a unique time of year where you almost can't help but reflect on the past. Past Christmases, past memories, past hurts, and past joys. It's a reflective time of year to say the least. In our reflection we quickly discover...what you reflect on has an incredibly powerful shaping effect on your life. Many people ruminate on past events, obsess over things causing them stress, even replaying arguments over and over in their minds. Doing this produces anxiety, worry, anger, etc. But God instructs His people from cover to cover of the Bible to set their minds on what He has done. And in doing so, His grace from the past casts a new and hopeful lens over our present and future. What will we choose to reflect on this Christmas? What will we choose to reflect on in daily life? How will that impact us? Join us as we dive deeper into what Scripture says about God's purposes in reflection in week 3 of our Advent Series: "Christmas in Real Life"

Christmas has a way of magnifying the brokenness in our lives. In many ways it reveals our desperation and exposes our need for rescue. But praise God, Christmas also announces that God has made His way down into the mess to fix the brokenness. How exactly does He do that? How is the birth of a baby some 2000 years ago good news for me today, in real life? You're not going to want to miss this message as we continue our advent series, Christmas in Real Life.

This week's message is titled "Messy Christmas." Although Christmas is filled with finely manicured shops, living rooms, and dinner tables... it's also filled with people with not-so-finely manicured thoughts, relationships, and emotions. On the outside, Christmas season brings us so much beauty yet on the inside it can bring so much ugliness... you stir those together and you have a Messy Christmas. So how does Jesus have anything to do with that? Way more than you might think.

We each get 168 hours to live in a week. Outside of sleep, work is the biggest single bucket our time gets put into. For most adults, work is the place we invest the biggest portion of our waking hours. Is that good? Is that bad? Is work in the way of getting to more important things? Work for many of us is a source of pain and frustration. Is there something else we should be doing with that time? Or is it possible God may want to show us a better way to approach work? We believe the Gospel reframes all of life, and we say all of life we mean work too! Come this Sunday for a message titled "Reframing Work" as we dig into how the Gospel reframes the work we do and the people we do it with.

The story of the bible tells us that God created everything and all of His creation was good (including humanity). But through humanity's rebellion against His rule & reign, creation was broken (which includes us too). Since sin entered the world, everywhere we look we see the brokeness and we instinctively know "this is not how things should be." And yet God didn't ignore the problems, Jesus came into our brokenness to bring salvation, forgiveness, healing and restoration. He came to not just fix creation but to bring "New Creation" life to us by the Holy Spirit within us. Old creation relationships were dominated by control, blame, shame, and escape. But new creation relationships look totally different. These relationships are empowered by Jesus and look like Jesus' service, honor, love, and deep connection. How might New Creation life look in your life, in your family, in your relationships? That's our study this week in Colossians 3.

The New Testament is filled with commands on how to live. But long before any commands are given, good news of who we are is declared, and it's important we know that. There are two very distinctly different ways to live: you can either live your life trying to become someone you're not, or you can live your life expressing who you already believe yourself to be. Huge difference. The gospel invites us to the latter. It's time to give up the ruse of trying to become and begin living from the truth of who we are in Christ. Join us as we continue to discover the radical implications of the gospel in our study through Colossians.

The term "religion" can mean many things to many people. Some people are "religious" about never missing a workout. Some people "religiously" watch their favorite sports team. Some people are adherents to "DON'T" religions i.e. don't do this... don't do that. Some people are adherents to "DO" religious i.e. do more of this... do more of that. Some people are a combination of all of the above, but all humans seem to be "religious" in some way whether they think they are or not.As we continue our look at the letter to the Colossian Church we see Paul make an emphatic case that... religion (however you define it) doesn't work. That sounds like a shocking statement coming from a man like Paul but he knew better than anyone that religion can't change a person. Paul knew true change doesn't happen outside-in... it can only happen inside-out. Religious behavior modification may seem to "work" but God isn't just about new behaviors, He is about new hearts that produce new behaviors. So what does "work"? How do people get "new hearts"? How can we avoid the trappings of religion and enter into the blessings of the Gospel? That is our focus for this Sunday as we finish out chapter 2. Join us as we explore these things together!

Do you want to know what the deepest secret of the Bible is? This Sunday we are unlocking the secret mysteries of the ancient Scriptures. We'll be talking about all the things your youth pastor forgot to tell you at summer camp growing up. We'll be talking about what the Bible is really all about... the deep secrets that people have been hiding from you your entire life. We are unlocking mysteries together this week... or... is everything you just read simply "click bait" language that is intended to make you feel anxious and stir your insecurities about being on the "outside"? Come join us and find out! As we continue our sermon series in Colossians, Paul explicitly tells the church of Colossae "this is the secret" of all scripture. And once you know this Secret... all the other counterfeit secrets become like meaningless statistics.

Religion thrives off a small view of Jesus. A tiny view of Jesus and the gospel will always create a BIG opportunity for us to be suckered by the sales pitch of religion. As long as our perspective of Jesus is shrunken, we will always be tempted to look elsewhere for completeness, for blessing, and satisfaction. This temptation to look beyond Jesus for rescue is nothing new. The early church in Colossae was under attack with the lies of religion as are we today. How do we combat this? What is the antidote to a small view of Jesus and the gospel? The apostle Paul shows us. The solution is to see and savor the real thing...the Supreme and Sufficient Jesus Christ!

Do you ever feel tossed around by the whirlwind of life? Do you ever desire to be more sturdy and resilient in the challenges you face every day? Sunday's message is called "A Rooted Life" and we'll look at how Paul wrote from jail to encourage a church he had never visited and help them get rooted!
This Sunday we kick off our new study in the Apostle Paul's letter to the Colossians. Paul along with Timothy wrote a letter to the church in Colossae which was born in the wake of Paul's missionary journeys. This is a cool continuation of The Story we saw unfold in the book of Acts. As we look closer, these next 8 weeks we'll see how the Apostle Paul is trying to help shepherd and encourage this fledgling church as it struggles with its own unique challenges. This week we look at the first 14 verses and how Paul both greets them, affirms them, and begins to try and root them in what matters most. We hope you can join us and celebrate God's grace together!

This week we dive into 2nd Corinthians chapter 5 in a message titled "Make a Play." Despite what we tell ourselves... God didn't put us on the planet to "ride the bench." Our position on the team isn't "Left Out." Jesus came to redeem and restore people, places, and things and His work isn't finished! Better than that... we're invited to be a part of it! He brought us on the team to Make Plays! But if we're honest... it doesn't always feel that way. Often it feels like other people are the ones God is using and we're just hanging on the sidelines. Well if you've ever felt that way or have even wondered how God has wired you to contribute to His work in the world, this Sunday is for you! We're excited to gather together and celebrate all Jesus has done, is doing and will do both in us and through us! Hope to see you soon!

In our "Gospel Playbook" series we've looked at a few themes so far... The Heart of our "Coach" Jesus... how "Life is a Team Sport" and we need to build our roster wisely... how we need to know how to "Play our Position" with the fundamentals of forgiveness. This week we look at the theme of rest. Because life is a contact sport... we need rest days to heal up and prepare for all the ways we take lumps and hits during the week. The great news is... we have the author and designer of rest right with us. Jesus comes this week with a beautiful invitation of rest for all of us. If you struggle to rest or want help on how to rest better... this is a message for you!

At the beginning of every sports season coaches make sure that the team knows their playbook. Typically the playbook includes the bread & butter plays that a team will build their identity on. So what are those for us at Generation? What are the "plays" we run that help us mature in healthy relationships with Jesus and each other? Let's explore that and more in a new series called, "The Gospel Playbook," with part one: "An Entirely Different Game."

Join us for a big dose of encouragement from Gods Word in Acts 28!
Have you ever been in a situation where you felt compelled to act? A situation where you didn't even need to think about it, you just knew instinctively what to do and you jumped into action?
What would our lives look like if God compelled us into action everyday? Acts 28 reveals to us a few different ways the Spirit compelled the early church into action and gives us some helpful insights into how He wants to compel us to loving action today!
It’s been said that “It’s not so much what happens to you in life that shapes your life, but it’s what you tell yourself about what’s happening that shapes your life.” In this chapter we see Paul and his friends in a seemingly hopeless situation. How does he respond? How does God intervene? And specifically, what can we learn so we can have more steadfast confidence and peace in the midst of our trials?
Join us for a big dose of encouragement from Gods Word in Acts 27.

What do you say when you’re trying to talk about Jesus with someone? Do you get nervous? Have you ever stumbled through some points you had at one time memorized?
Should it be this difficult? No! We have a simple playbook to run in any situation… tell your story! That’s not just a church idea… we see Paul doing exactly that over and over! But how does he do it? What can we learn? How can we be more effective witnesses in a skeptical age? Come join us to find out!
From your earliest memories, we’ve sensed it: the relentless weight of pressure that seems to follow you everywhere. Whether it's at work, in society, at school or in our family, we're bombarded with expectations.
Sadly, even in the church, this pressure can manifest as a spiritual burden, making us feel the need to perform for God. But what if the gospel was meant to do the opposite? What if it's not about adding more pressure but about finding relief from it?
Is the gospel of God’s grace big enough to save us from the pressure we feel in the everyday stuff of life? As we continue in Acts 24, we’ll see a stunning picture of how the great news of the gospel paves the way for a life where the pressure's off!
What kind of mindset does God want for us everyday? What lense does He want us to see through in everyday life?
As we look at the last handful of chapters in the book of Acts we see Paul being given opportunities to share the Gospel in a variety of settings. What does he share? How does he share? How do those things help us engage not yet believers in our daily life? How do we renew our minds to see life as Jesus sees it? Come join us and dive into those questions!!
As individuals empowered by the Holy Spirit, we are called to make a difference in the everyday stuff of life. But what does that look like? How exactly can we share Christ's message in our world today? The answer lies within your own incredible story of experiencing God's goodness firsthand—a story worth telling! Join us this Sunday as we explore Acts 22 and rediscover the transformative power of sharing our personal encounters with God's grace.
It has been said that no battle plan survives contact with the enemy. No matter how thought through or well-intentioned our plans may be, life doesn’t always comply with our demands. But we need not fret. In Christ, we don’t live under the circumstances, but above them!
As people indwelt by the Spirit, we have the God-given ability to choose to see the obstacles as opportunities for gospel ministry. Join us in the end of Acts 21 and be reminded how the gospel frees us to face all circumstances, not as a setback, but as the setup to making much of Jesus.
Acts 21:15-26
Do you “know your why?” Why do you keep going every day? Why do you make the decisions that you do? Why do you do anything for that matter? What overarching purpose drives the most important decisions in your life? Do you have a purpose statement for your life, career, family, etc? Should you? How can you discover your purpose?
If you’re overwhelmed by any of that, fear not. God is very interested in humans knowing our purpose. He’s more interested than we are! And because He’s the author of our story He is the only reliable source to both tell us and guide us along the paths of purpose. This week we see how “purpose “is the singular most important component to Paul navigating the trying times in his life. We expect it will be a great encouragement to all of us!
This week we look at Acts 21:1-14
How do you define “safety?”
Where or when do you feel most “safe?”
Safety is a word that has many contextualized definitions and applications. We often hear the phrase “safety first.” We invest in countless ways to create safety in our families and communities and the vast majority of those are loving good endeavors!
But what happens if our definition of safety is unhealthy or misapplied? What happens when the cost of safety is higher than the cost of the risk? What happens if “playing it safe” is actually rooted in mistrust of God? What happens when we’re so fearful of “dying” that we never fully live?
Join us as we look at an agonizing point in Paul’s life where fear and faith are facing off. What will win out in his heart? And why? And how can that help us sift the raw emotion of daily life with Jesus?
Listen and find out!
This Sunday we dive into Acts Chapter 20.
It seems like our world is one giant exposé on the insufficiency of created things to sustain our deepest needs and longings. At best it seems created things can only temporarily satisfy. But tragically many get stuck in the never ending cycle of searching for the next temporary satisfaction or distraction.
Christians unfortunately can get stuck in that same rat race as the world around us…So what’s the fix? Is there one?
Is there something that can give us a love that never leaves? Is there something that can give us lasting satisfaction? Is there something that can meet our need for hope? Is there something that can give us purpose for waking up every day? Is there something that is sufficient to sustain our deepest needs and longings?
The answer Paul gives in Acts 20 is an emphatic, YES.
Is there anything in your life that, if taken away, would make life seem not worth living? We live in a world where we are surrounded by an infinite catalog of things that promise hope, meaning, value, security and significance. But the truth is that anything smaller than Jesus will never be able to provide what our souls crave. Join us in Acts 19 as we expose the slavery of idolatry and the freedom of the gospel.
Acts Chapter 19 is wild! Miraculous healings, demon possessed man beating up 7 exorcists, people using incantation books for a bonfire...and then a riot! What's happening!? Whelp we know one thing is for sure, the Gospel turns a city upside down!
Yet not only does the Gospel turn a city upside down, it turns people's lives right side up. And as Jesus does His work in people we get to see how incompatible His Kingdom is with the kingdoms of this world. Join us this Sunday as we look at how Jesus' Kingdom has come to bring light to the darkness of our world and to each of us.
This week we continue our study in Acts. In Chapter 19 we see the early church in Ephesus begin to take a more integral role as a launch point for global ministry. We also see the deep need for ongoing teaching and theological development. Lastly, we see new names and faces that are becoming playmakers for Jesus.
Why does any of that matter for us? Well in our study Sunday we’ll get a clear view of what the purpose of the church is in the world and how Jesus wants to use each of us in our daily lives to be playmakers in His kingdom! See you then!

Do you ever get discouraged? I mean rrreaalllly discouraged? What do you do to pull out of it? I've found sometimes it's incredibly difficult to get out of a discouraged state. Our ancient brothers & sisters in Christ were no different than us in this way. They faced times of discouragement as bad or worse than we do. So what has God done to pull us out of discouragement and renew our courage? This week we'll see what He did for Paul in Acts 18 and how He continues to do the same things for us today.
If you're in a discouraging season of life or know someone who is, join us Sunday for a shot in the arm of Gospel encouragement. Until then, know this... Jesus is with us and will see us through. That's His promise written in His blood.
The gospel isn't just a message limited to the walls of a church building. It is good news for everyone, including people who are indifferent and uninterested... we just may need to change our approach. As we dive back in to Acts 17 and join Paul in Athens, we'll see what it looks like to have gospel conversations with people in everyday life.
The book of Acts provides a glorious picture of the unstoppable power of God's glorious grace. The more we zoom in the more we see that it is the Word of God, namely the good news of Jesus Christ, that permeates every pixel of that glorious picture.
This week we're in Acts 17 and we're reminded that the unstoppable spread of the gospel was the result of faithfully pointing to and pursuing the truth of Jesus in all of Scripture.
What makes people seriously consider the Gospel? Is it the right information or arguments? Is it loving action? Is it a powerful encounter with supernatural power? Is it all of those or one more than the other?
The book of Acts has shown us countless people from every walk of life coming to faith in Jesus, but this week we get to zoom in on 3 specific people. What is it that leads them to faith in Jesus? And how can that help us to be effective witnesses today? We’re so excited to continue our journey through Acts together!
Sometimes strength for life is found in integrity and resistance. Other times strength is found in the ability to be flexible so we don’t snap! Where can we find the resources for our souls to stay strong in the storms of life? Join us in our journey through the the book of Acts and learn how Jesus empowers a 'gospel flexibility' within us all.

Have you ever wondered if you’ve done enough to make God happy with you? Have you felt like more was needed in order to get clean and close to God? Do you live with confidence that Jesus is enough? It’s tempting to believe the lie that I need “Jesus plus something” in order to save or satisfy me. This lie is nothing new. Join us as we dive back into Acts 15 to discover the sufficiency of what Jesus accomplished and be reminded that salvation and satisfaction are found in Jesus plus nothing.

In the midst of life’s trials, It’s so easy to allow cynicism and pessimism to tint the lenses of our outlook on life. What is or could be a good day is sometimes overshadowed by anxiety about the future. And in the times when real suffering strikes, it can seem unbearable to even imagine life to be better in the future.
Aren’t you glad your future isn’t a result of your ability to remain positive? Aren’t you glad that often you’re wrong and things ended up better than you could’ve imagined?
This Easter we look at Peter’s letter to a struggling church and his reminder to them about the “Wonderful Joy Ahead.” In the midst of their pain, he wants to remind them what God says is ahead for them. Maybe you also need a reminder of what God says is coming for you. Maybe cynicism won’t have the last word. Maybe, just maybe… Jesus gets the last word and He says “death doesn’t win.”
There's no escaping discouragement. It comes for all of us and it's hard to know when it will strike. But God hasn't left us alone... He sends us encouragement. And more times than not, it is through the presence of another person. Yet, what makes someone encouraging? How can we be an encouraging presence in other's lives?
As we wrap up Chapter 14 of Acts we are going to see the critical elements of how to strengthen one another. Whether you're in dire need of strength or looking to mature in your capacity to strengthen others, this Sunday is definitely for you!
We’ve all had those days where we just want to throw in the towel and give up. Perhaps you’re in one of those seasons now. While life in a broken world seems to consistently present challenges and setbacks, thankfully we’re not stranded or left alone. Through the gospel and the empowering presence of the Spirit of God in us, we possess grace-enabled grit to face the hardship and adversity of this life with joy and strength. Join us Sunday as we continue our journey in Acts 14 and load up on some “gospel grit!”
This week we continue our study through Acts 13!
Have you ever wished or prayed that people in your life, family/friends would come to know Jesus? Have you ever struggled with how to be a part of that? Have you ever gone back and forth about what the right way to go about sharing with them would be? Have you ever thought about what we can do to be prepared to share when we have the opportunity?
This week's message is titled “Prepared to Share”. We will look at Paul’s address to the synagogue and crowds of Antioch Pisidoa where we will see three helpful ways to build bridges with the culture/people around us while
also effectively pointing to Jesus.
The book of Acts has repeatedly demonstrated this powerful truth:
God’s plan is unstoppable.
It is in the midst of opposition that we get to see just how powerful and astonishing the gospel is, and that nothing and no one will thwart God’s mission of gospel saturation and the expansion of His Church across the globe. Join us in Acts 13:1-12 as we see the gospel breaking through the lies and deceit of the enemy and gaining new ground for the Kingdom.
This week we are blessed to have Dain teach through Acts 13, where the focus is on how God is the one who calls, sends, and empowers. The missionaries are not leaving the church to go out on their own; They have the Holy Spirit! The body of believers (the Church) is the conduit God uses to send the missionaries to the ends of the earth. Join us as we continue to explore how God's mission has a church and God's church has missionaries.
Well… things were going well for a bit with the church and then tragedy struck… James is murdered by a tyrant King Agrippa. And if that wasn’t bad enough… they’ve arrested Peter and it looks like he’s next to be killed. Not the thriving church plan they had hoped for.
So what happens next? Will God rescue? Will evil prevail? How is that helpful for me today? Come dive into Acts 12 with us this Sunday and find out.

It's Super Bowl Sunday! Most people don't realize the sheer absurdity of how low the odds are that anyone would ever be able to play in such a game. NCAA research states that only 0.08% of all high school football players will even be drafted to the NFL, let alone make it to the Super Bowl! So if being on a big stage is reserved for statistical elites...what about the rest of us? What about that yearning inside us to be a part of something significant? Are we destined to sit on the sidelines while others seem to be doing the "big" and "important" stuff? Join us as we look at Acts chapter 11 and find out God's response to those questions.
Research tells us that learning can be cemented in the brain through repetition. Malcolm Gladwell, in his book 'Outliers,' claims it takes roughly 10,000 hours to become a master in any given craft. So what is it that God finds worthwhile to repeat? As we look at Acts 11, Tim talks about the things God finds worth in repeating for us. And as we'll see, some things are so good you just have to go back for more! Join us as we celebrate and dive into God's Word together.

This week we continue our journey in Acts (Chapter 10) as we encounter a day where everything changed...a moment that no one saw coming, not even Peter. God is about to do something that radically alters the trajectory and identity of the church forever, and demonstrates the power of the gospel to unite what the world seeks to divide.
This Sunday Tim continues our series in Acts in a section where we see Jesus heal 2 people through Peter’s ministry. Physical healing was a regular part of Jesus’ ministry and Acts is showing us how and why Jesus continued to heal people physically. If you’ve ever wondered or wrestled with this subject, Sunday’s teaching is definitely for you!
This morning we have our friends from Prague, Czech Republic with us - The Harrods (Zach & Misa).
Happy New Year!....We gather for a family service this first Sunday of 2023 with the theme "The Lord is OUR Good Shepherd" from Psalm 23. Psalm 23 in 2023!

It doesn't take an advanced degree to take a look around our world and see that it is filled with darkness. Sadly, even when we look within we still are faced with darkness. Why do we hurt the ones we love the most? What is the cause of the darkness around us and inside us? What will bring light to the world around us and within us? This is the story of Christmas...
Pastor Tim Parlier concludes our Advent Series as we light the last candle..."LIGHT."

What image comes to your mind when you think of God? Does it matter? This week Tim Parlier continues our Advent Series "Slow Christmas: A Subversive Pace of Celebration" as we look at the characteristics of Jesus from Isaiah 9, focusing on his title “Everlasting Father.”
This week Tim Parlier continues our Advent Series "Slow Christmas: A Subversive Pace of Celebration" with a sermon titled, "Mighty God." Isaiah 9:1-7
This Sunday we continue our intermittent series "This is Us" where we highlight some of what Jesus has done and is doing through members our church family. David and Rebecca are raw, real and their story puts the rescuing, redeeming grace of Jesus on display in a powerful way.
"This is Us" series will be taken from the theme of 1 Peter 2:4-6 (ESV):
"As you come to him (Jesus), a living stone rejected by men but in the sight of God chosen and precious, you yourselves like living stones are being built up as a spiritual house, to be a holy priesthood, to offer spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ."
We as Generation Church are all living stones in the house of God that Jesus is building here in Oceanside. We are a story formed people. These are some of those stories, pointing to HIS story.
In Acts 9, the author Luke turns our attention to the most famous conversion in history: the conversion of Saul of Tarsus. This is not something the early church saw coming. It's a story that reveals the lengths God is willing to go to rescue even the worst of sinners. It's a story that reveals the redemptive heart of God and leaves you responding in amazement, "Are you kidding me?
What if the people and circumstances we encounter aren't just random moments? What if those interruptions are actually divinely orchestrated appointments by a God who is passionately pursuing the lost and the least? In this message from Acts 8, we see how the Spirit, Scripture, and our Savior are involved in bringing about Divine Appointments in our everyday lives.
Tim teaches through Acts 7 to help us understand how encountering Jesus gives us what we need to endure.
Our Spanish church planting resident Pastor Omar Loza takes us through Paul's letter to Timothy and what it teaches us about spiritual disciplines and how they help us grow closer to Jesus and become more like Him.
Do You ever find yourself saying “YES” to things when you really should’ve said “NO”? Do you ever feel burned out by the pace of life? You’re not alone. This Sunday we’re continuing our study in the book of Acts chapter 6 in a message called “Help, I’m Overcommitted!”
We're excited to continue our series in the book of Acts on Sunday. What a gift to experience the unstoppable power of the gospel as we continue to unpack chapter five. Generation church is a family and each of you is a part of it. We love seeing you and having YOU there with us.
At Generation Church we love good news. Do you love good news? What's the best news you've ever received? When was it? What Happened? The Gospel is called "The good news"...have you ever wondered why? We feel that it's not just good news but the BEST news ever!
This week we look at the story of Ananias and Sapphira, a stark contrast to the story of Barnabas. This is one of the more bizarre stories in the new testament and it brings up many questions. Some of which are hard to answer. So what do we do when we read scripture and have a lot of questions and confusion, or even frustration? We look forward to seeing you on Sunday as we learn how to accurately interpret what scripture says, what it doesn't say, and learn more about the God who authored it.
The gospel is the radical news of what God has done. But what does that entail? What has he done, and what if it was better than we ever imagined? This Sunday we’re exploring the radical news of what God has not only done for us, but also to us and what he wants to do through us. AMEN!
Tim and Matt discuss a question that came up in the sermon last week... "Should Christians tithe?" It's a deeper dive into the area of generosity we covered this past Sunday and hopefully clears the air on a broader topic of Christians observing old testament law.
This week we continue our series in Acts finishing up chapter 4 where the church explodes in boldness and in radical generosity. The display of generosity in this chapter is head turning. We're also introduced for the first time to a prominent role player in the early church, Barnabas. What was the cause of the radical generosity on display in the early church? What does this have to do with us today? Come, join in on the time of teaching and worship! We are excited for a powerful Sunday together! And don't worry... this isn't a message on giving more to the church. God's got all we need and more. So come experience the generosity of Jesus for you!
We're continuing our series in Acts chapter 4 with a message titled, "The Spirit of Boldness". Peter and John are dragged into the courtroom, where they fear for their life, face opposition and the church has the opportunity to throw in the towel. So how do they respond? What power do they draw on when confronting this type of opposition? How might God want to speak to us today through this? Join us as we dive into an exciting piece of church history together!
This Sunday we kicked off our intermittent series "This is Us" where we highlight some of what Jesus has done and is doing through members our church family. Peter and Dara Desoto moved their whole family to El Salvador to pursue what God was calling them to... but the story took a dramatic turn... and led to the publishing of the book "Shot."
This Sunday we're continuing our study through the book of Acts. Tim will be teaching through Chapter 3 in a message titled "Pointing To Jesus," where we see the first miraculous physical healing in the early church. In this chapter the crowd sees a miracle, hears a message, and then is pointed to a messiah behind it all. This is a loaded chunk of scripture that teaches us so much about the character of Jesus & His Kingdom. It also shows us the ways He was at work through His followers and the ways we can follow in their footsteps. We also get to reflect and listen as He prompts us in how He might want to use each of us today. But most of all, within these words of Peter we get a glimpse of the "times of refreshment" that Jesus offers all of us... the promise He will fulfill!
Tim teaches through the final chunk of Acts, Chapter 2. Peter has just spoken to a crowd of confused onlookers, which results in over 3,000 people surrendering their lives to Jesus. So what do all these people do next? What does the first church recorded in the Bible look like? How did they know what to do? Why does the church generally look so much different today than it did in the first century? Is that bad? Good? How is any of this relevant to us in Oceanside & beyond?
Tim continues our series in Acts. A few weeks ago, we ended with "are these people drunk?" Peter addresses the crowd with powerful and challenging words that “pierce their hearts.” How can words pierce a heart? Is that good? Bad? What are Gospel Words and what do they do? We’re excited for a powerful time in God's word together looking at all this and more.
Our friends and global partners Sasha & Sara Pascal joined us to share about their work in Chisinau, Moldova. https://www.missiondispatch.org/sasha-sara-pascal-moldova
Pastor Matt Carlson shares a message from Psalm 84... What are the blessings of being close to God? What does it require to be close to God?
Guest teacher - Pastor Eddie Zellars brings an encouraging word from Acts 2. Come Holy Spirit!
Tim is continuing our series in Acts "Jesus IN Us" picking up in the legendary section of chapter 2. This is the long awaited promise of the coming of the Holy Spirit being fulfilled. What does the Holy Spirit do when He fills the people of the early church? What does that mean for us today? Why do people think the early church was drunk? Did San Diego State have a Fraternity House in Jerusalem in 33AD? Explore all this and more with us on Sunday... and bring a friend... it feels good to be invited in when you're lonely.
This Sunday Tim continues our new series in the book of Acts. In this next part of chapter one we see the family of God, aka the fledgling church, start to take form. What are the first cultural norms within the church that we begin to see? How might those encourage, challenge or inform us today? It’s also Father's Day so what might Dads take note of in these verses?
Our church planting resident Pastor Omar Loza shares about his life and calling to plant a Spanish speaking church in Oceanside as well as a look at Acts chapter 17 which is establishing a biblical basis for cross-cultural missions within the US. We're so blessed to have the Loza family with us in this season and we're honored to be supporting their work.
The world around us is experiencing so much division and brokenness. If we’re honest, even the world inside us, and in our families is experiencing division and brokenness. What is Jesus’ heart for these things? What is His heart for us? How can we practically move forward in greater health as we engage the constant conflicts in life? Tim will be sharing a message called “A Heart For Unity” this Sunday. If you’re struggling with conflict or know someone who is, this is a great time to come be equipped for life.
How do we find life? What is that itch for more that we just can't seem to scratch no matter how much success we have, fun we experience, or adventures we take? Why do we often find ourselves anxious and unfulfilled? Does the scripture give us any insight in to this tragic strain of the human existence?
Pastor Tim takes the opportunity between our series in Luke and our upcoming series in Acts to share from the heart on some meditations on Philippians chapter 3.
Guest Peyton Jones teaches through Mark 8:1-21. For more info on Peyton Jones' ministry visit https://newbreedtraining.com/about/peyton-jones/
Bill Wiese one of our Elders teaches through 2nd Corinthians 5 in what it looks like to live a life centered on the finished work of Jesus.
This is the final Sunday in our series “Jesus With Us”. We are finishing our study in the gospel of Luke. What are the last things Jesus says to His disciples? What has Luke tried to accomplish through his account of Jesus life? What is the Gospel? We’ll be looking at all of this and more as we dive in together! Come join us! Invite a friend who needs some encouragement!
How do you truly know something? How do you truly know God? What are Jesus' first words to His disciples after resurrecting? All of these get answered in today's message...
Pastor Tim Parlier teaches through our 2nd to last week in the "Jesus with Us" series...from Luke 24 when Jesus encounters His disciples on the road to Emmaus.
This morning we are continuing our study in Luke chapter 23 and 24 with Pastor Tim Parlier. There's so much pain in life and in our world...Where do you find hope when suffering hits? Hope is so powerful and we all need it. Easter promises a simple yet immovable hope...The Tomb is EMPTY! How does an empty tomb have anything to do with your life? That's our focus for today.
Our church planting resident Omar Loza teaches from Luke 19, where Jesus enters Jerusalem (aka Palm Sunday). This is a pivotal moment in the ministry of Jesus as people hail him as the King! Yet there's division in the crowd, not all believe the same things about Jesus. What does this section of scripture teach us about God's plans, Jesus' offer of peace, and the authority that Jesus carries? Join us and find out!
Omar & Tia are preparing to plant a Spanish speaking church in 2023. Support their work via our website giving!
Pastor Tim Parlier teaches from Luke 22, where Jesus eats the Passover meal with his disciples and gives them some mind blowing insights into what it looks like to be His new covenant people. What does that mean for you? What does that mean for us as His family?
Our friend and guest Pastor David Godoy shares an encouraging message on how to face crisis' in our lives from the story of Mark 4:35-41.
David aka "Hermano Pedro" lives in Oceanside with his wife Rebecca and their 2 sons who attend El Camino High. David and Rebecca grew up in Brazil but have lived and worked internationally serving Jesus on His mission. We're so excited to have them with us!
David is fluent in Portuguese, Spanish, and English and sometimes preaches in multiple languages on a single Sunday! He currently serves with the North American Missions Board as a Church Planting Catalyst. He has lead different teams that trained over 25,000 leaders to plant churches in 55+ countries from 2008 to 2019. As a result, thousands of churches are being established and tens of thousands of people are coming to Christ in these churches.
Tim continues our series in Luke in a message called "Right On Schedule."
It seems sometimes our lives are not what they should be or where they should be, but what would Jesus say to us in these moments? Also we see in the face of betrayal Jesus doesn't seem to be phased, how is that possible?
Tim continues our series in Luke "Jesus with Us". We dive into chapter 21 a chunk of scripture often referred to as "The Olivet Discourse". Jesus tells the disciples what they can expect in their lifetimes and it also teaches us about how we can live in tumultuous times. Listen to Jesus and live accordingly. It's simple but not easy.
Tim continues our series in Luke - finishing chapter 20 and looking into 21. We see Jesus in his final public confrontation with the religious elites who don't lift a finger to ease the burdens of the downtrodden. We also see an unlikely hero emerge... a poor widow who demonstrates what the character of God is... and points to a HERO we all can look to for hope! #PRAYforUKRAINE
Tim continues our teaching through the Gospel of Luke picking back up in chapter 20. Jesus is challenged again this week regarding civil and scriptural authority. Both times He leaves the challengers speechless.
We're back in our series through the Gospel of Luke. Tim teaches through Luke 20:1-19 where Jesus is challenged by religious elites. The theme of authority is front and center... Who has it? Who gives it? Why does it matter?
Tim teaches through a section of John chapter 15 where Jesus turns to his disciples and says "I no longer call you servants, no you are my friends...". How does friendship work in Jesus' mind? Why is friendship important to what he came to do on earth? Is it important in His kingdom now? Is it possible friendship is way more important than we've ever considered?

1 Peter 4 is unpacked by our guest and friend Pastor Joshua Krzanak from Surfside Church. What does it look like to live faithfully and hospitably in a time where so much chaos abounds?
Guest speaker, Pastor David Woods from Zoe Church in San Juan Capistrano gives an amazing message about holding on to the GOOD in life.
What will 2022 bring? What does God want to do in you and through you? Pastor Tim Parlier will be teaching through the story of Gideon found in Judges 6-8 and what the story teaches us about tackling whatever comes our way in this next year.
Our Christmas Eve 4:30pm Gathering.
Christmas is a great time of year... but does it really matter for real life? It seems to our culture that Christmas is a nice sentimental holiday to have fun and give gifts, maybe even a relic from a bygone era of embracing religious myths. But is there more to it than that? Does Christmas address any of the things I really need in life? Does Christmas matter or should it matter to me? Pastor Tim Parlier unpacks not the Christmas story but rather what it means for everyday.
Christmas is awesome but does it have any application to everyday life throughout the year? How can the Truths of the Gospel be applied to the stresses of everyday relationships, work, school, parenting, etc? Pastor Tim Parlier concludes our "Making Space" series with a teaching on the 4 G's of the Gospel and how we can bring the Glory of Christmas into the everyday stuff of life.
As we discussed a couple weeks ago, we can miss Jesus during Christmas season because we're too BUSY, but there is another more subtle way we can miss Jesus...
Tim continues the Making Space series during Advent 2021
Our great friend Pastor Josh Krzanak continues our series in "Making Space" by sharing about his personal journey with God and also tackling the challenge of finding rest. Why is rest hard work? Shouldn't rest be easy? Why is it so hard for us to rest? What does Jesus want for us?
As Christmas approaches we’re turning our attention to the Advent season. Tim is teaching through Luke 10 where Jesus visits his friends’ house in Bethany. Jesus wants his friends to know He wants them to slow down and not miss what is most important... Him. What does that mean for us this season?
Tim teaches through Luke 18:31-43 where Jesus heals a blind man and confronts his disciples who seemingly cannot see.
Show Note: Audio was corrected at 10 minute mark. Tim teaches through Luke 18:15-30 where Jesus confronts his disciples and a wealthy religious leader. Jesus is trying to confront everyone with their decision to choose eternal treasure or choose fools gold. What are those? How do we know what we're choosing? That's what we discover together.
Tim will be teaching Luke 17:20-37 - "The End Is Near" ... What does Jesus say about how things will be on the earth when he returns? How should we respond to the doctrines of God's judgement? How should we respond to Jesus' 1st coming? How does He want us to live in light of His 2nd coming? These are all questions we will explore in this somewhat mysterious passage of Jesus' teachings.
Tim will be continuing our series in Luke, picking up in Chapter 17 where Jesus has a series of teachings about the life of discipleship. Jesus gives His disciples a few key elements of what a supernatural Kingdom life looks like in the midst of everyday matters of relationships. If you've ever wondered how God might move in and through your life, you will get some very practical wisdom from Jesus on how to see that happen!
Today we're celebrating the dedication of baby TJ, commissioning of a new Elder (Bill Wiese), and our 70th anniversary of our church founded in 1951 as "The Home Church" 10/26/51.
Miss Amy aka Amy Real jumps on the POD to talk about her life journey and what drew her to be a teacher and Childrens Ministry Director. She also shares gold nuggets of wisdom for parents, single moms, and the church as a whole as we all strive to love our kids well and lead them closer to Jesus.
Today, we are humbled to welcome our special speaker, Lincoln Lawing. We will be learning from Hebrews 12:12
Pastor Tim Parlier teaches through the last parable in Luke 16 about a Rich Man and Lazarus. The thrust of Jesus' teaching is about the eternal significance of our lives...or lack-thereof. Do our lives continue into eternity? Is there such a thing as an afterlife? Heaven? Hell? What does Jesus teach about these things and why do they matter for today?
We're celebrating the Samoan Church tradition of White Sunday w/ Tim and Va'a teaching through Luke 19, the story of Zacchaeus... what do we learn about from Jesus about how we can pursue those unlike us? What can we learn about pursuing the next generation?
Guest pastor Corey Edelmann from Holy Fire Church, sharing his testimony and teaching from a commonly known verse, John 3:16.
Pastor Tim continues our series in Luke picking up in chapter 16:1-15. Jesus takes aim at an area most people think they don't have a problem with... greed. Does money have a hold on our hearts? Does it dictate our well being more that it should? Can we serve both God and earthly possessions? What's the risk to our souls if we do?
Pastor Tim Parlier teaches through 3 famous parables of Jesus found in Luke 15. Jesus uses these parables to reveal what people truly love. Often our loves are disordered and mis-prioritized. Some of us tend toward loving our license... our ability to self govern. Some of us tend toward loving laws... our ability to self govern through moral excellence. Both lead us away from a type of love that truly brings life...
When Jesus calls someone to follow Him... what does He ask for? What is required? Where do you start? Pastor Tim Parlier teaches through Luke 14:15-35... is Jesus being crazy or does He mean for us to take these really radical words seriously?
Lance is a great friend of Generation Church. He is a licensed Marriage & Family Therapist and serves as Co-director of The Restoration Therapy Center in Carlsbad. His wife Jennifer is also the HS Director at North Coast Calvary Chapel. They are a committed local ministry family.
Lance began his career as an ordained Christian pastor, but felt the unique calling to full-time licensed therapy. Lance has counseled many in our church family included former and current pastoral staff. He is passionate about helping the body of Christ find healing and wholeness in their relationships with Jesus and others.
If you've ever wondered what Generation Church is all about... this about sums it up. Pastor Tim teaches through Colossians Chapter 1 and draws some clear guidance from this letter on how we can be the church in Oceanside.
Our mission: Lead people into healthy relationships with Jesus and each other. So what is health? How do we grow in it?
Pastor Tim Parlier continues our series in the Gospel of Luke. We pick up in chapter 14 where Jesus is invited to a dinner party of elites. He uses this opportunity to "put flesh on" what He taught in Luke 13 about the Kingdom of God. After establishing what the Kingdom "is like" in Luke 13, Jesus will now begin to show us what that actually looks like in interpersonal relationships, i.e. a Kingdom Lifestyle. The Kingdom Lifestyle runs contrary to the lifestyle we often desire for ourselves and we must decide if we believe that is a good thing or not? Does Jesus have our best interest in mind? Can we trust him?
From Sunday 8/8/21 - Guest speaker Scott Schimmel talks about God's perspective of time vs. our perspective of time and 3 stories where Jesus shows us our ideas about time might be dramatically off.
NOW. HERE. THIS.
From Sunday 8/1/21...Our guest Peyton Jones (church planting ninja) was with us bringing a powerful message!
You can tell a lot about a person based on what they are amazed by... so, what amazes you? What produces awe in your heart? In Jesus' teachings He explains what the "Kingdom of God" is like and it is...amazing! In addition to being amazing, it also helps us to understand and prioritize what really matters in life.
We continue our series in the Gospel of Luke Chapter 13.
Our friend Pastor Eddie Zellars was in town today to bring a message about faith... what is it? who has it? why does it matter to us? ...or anyone?
Tim Parlier continues our series in the Gospel of Luke. We pick up in Chapter 13. Jesus sees a woman who has been bend double for 18 years! His reaction and treatment of her is amazing. If you've ever felt unseen, unnoticed, or unwanted you may find great hope in Jesus' reaction to this woman.
Pastor Tim Parlier continues our series in the Gospel of Luke picking up in chapter 13 with a sermon titled "The Deepest Need". What does Jesus say should be our first priority? With so many issues going on in our world and our lives, where do we start to fix things? Where do we NOT start? What hope do we have?
Our brother Dain Wadley shares a message from John chapter 8 about the incredible love of Jesus.
We took some of your questions from around Easter time and collaborated them into a message about God's character. Specifically, is God trustworthy? Can He be trusted in times of pain, suffering, confusion...the unknowns of life?
