This episode was inspired by the work and book "The 5 Love Languages" by Gary Chapman.
His premise is simple: different people with different personalities express love in different ways. Gary called these ways of expressing and receiving love the “5 Love Languages.” And that individual has at least one language that they prefer above the other.
They 5 Love Languages are:
Words of Affirmation
Acts of Service
Receiving Gifts
Quality Time
Physical Touch
Generally when we think of the Love Languages, we think of this in terms of romantic relationships.
But you can also use the love languages for self-love!
So today we talk about you can use the love languages in your business!Let's first, let's figure out your love languages(s).If you don't already know your love language(s) you can take the quiz here!
Then, in this episode we chat about each of the 5 languages and give you tips and ideas for how to give yourself love in your love language though your business. 💖

Nima Mohamed is a trilingual Black Muslim woman born and raised in Cairo, Egypt.
She has spent the last 10+ years leading and educating on Racial Justice. She has led racial justice work in pretty much every kind of environment and industry: from supporting solopreneurs and small nonprofits in their diversity, equity, and inclusion goals, to training up executive leaders and managers at new startups and multimillion-dollar companies. She worked for Apple for 5 years, trained executive leaders at companies SurveyMonkey and so much more.
In addition to her decade-long professional career as an equity and inclusion leader, she has also spent her entire adult life in front lines of grassroots, community activism fighting back against anti-Black violence.
In this episode, Nima talks with us about how to incorporate anti-racism, equity and inclusion into business. She also shares her own business journey and the magic and the mess along the way.
