Welcome to Get Folked Plus. My name is Roger Joseph and this show presents a variety of music but centred on folk/acoustic genre. I have recently retired from touring folk bands in Australia but I've been fortunate to tour The Popes, Melisande [electrotrad], Stefan Grossman, Wör, the Outside Track and many more. I have their music and will play it here. I have The Long Harvest, a ten cd set compiled by Peggy Seeger of the traditional ballads researched by Peggy and Euan Maccoll. I have the Transports, a folk opera recently re-recorded that I intend to play in instalments. And plenty more. I play what I like, what moves me, and I play a lot of material that just needs to be played. Let's get on with it.
