Grab a snack and a cold drink and sit down and hang out with my little sister and me! Today we are going to talk about her experience with losing our father to incarceration at a young age. We will discuss the noble reasons why she decided to pursue a career as a lawyer. She shares a very interesting true story of a real-life wrongful murder conviction! We dive into the bold topic of forgiveness which is freely given to all of us through the gift of Jesus. Sometimes, we can find it difficult to forgive individuals who have wronged us in some manner. What we need to understand is that forgiving them, is helping you. You will let go of so much hurt and baggage that never belonged to you in the first place if you clear your heart of hurt and forgive and move forward. There is no other way to move forward without first finding forgiveness in your heart. I promise that it will be one of the hardest but most rewarding things you can ever do. Forgiveness does not mean accepting the behavior or act towards you to be correct, but it does mean surrendering the burden into the rightful hands of God to handle it.

Hey there! Take a seat and relax and have some good and always interesting conversations with us! This episode is part II of discussing the traits and characteristics of a narcissist or abusive personality type based on our personal experiences being in a close relationship with these kinds of individuals. My guest and I were given the courage to not only leave our toxic relationships, but also the courage to speak out and spread awareness to others. We hope we can teach about these tricky personality traits and also relate to those of you who may have been faced or are facing some of the same scenarios. We are so thankful for the peace and wisdom that we have gained through following God's word and walking in His love.

On this monumental episode of the butterfly army podcast, we will be introducing our very first guest speaker. We will hear a brave testimony from one of God's beloved children and how He held her hand every step of the journey. God gave her overwhelming strength to triumph over every hurdle that this life has thrown her way. She is now walking boldly with Christ and navigating life while raising her two beautiful daughters. Our guest understands the importance of having a strong community with brothers and sisters in Christ. After the incredible testimony of God's unfailing love, the two of us will discuss red flags and character traits of narcissists and toxic individuals. Based on our experiences, we will share what we have learned and identified are major concerns while dating or navigating friendships with these individuals. Letting go and setting boundaries is the hardest thing to do, but most necessary and healthy thing we can do for ourselves and for those directly affected by these people in our lives. While we are called to love everyone, that does not mean we are called to endure inappropriate or abusive behavior. We have to always remember who we are, and that is a child of God.

In this episode, I will take you through the remainder of my story that shaped me into where I am today. I will share how God revealed the next steps on my migration to the light. I am healing beautifully through Christ and His unconditional love. When I was left completely alone, God showed me that He was the one who had been holding my hand the whole time. God gave me unexplainable knowledge, peace, protection, and courage throughout the entire ordeal. We have already been given victory through Christ, and I believe it is our job to be bold enough to step up to the plate and share these victories to glorify His name. I still have many unanswered questions, and I believe God will reveal the answers to me in His time, the perfect time. God continues to work in my life and in the lives of others around me and it is amazing to witness these everyday miracles. Albert Einstein said it best "There are two ways to live your life. One is as though nothing is a miracle. The other is as though everything is a miracle." God protects His children and keeps His promises to us, I am a walking example of that promise. We all are. Every breath we take is a blessing from God. I promised Him that if I was able to take another breath, I would not let Him down again.

I have been rescued from many giants, even those that I didn't realize were standing right in front of me. This is my story, that I believe in my heart mind and soul to be truth. I have been given peace through the storm, by gaining a new perspective and awakening to a real love. I know now like never before, that we are not alone. Guided by love that has no explanation. Unashamed, I will use my voice I was given to lay it all out on the table, because I trust that God has prepared a table for me.
