Hi Friends! Welcome to The Liz Teach Podcast. At the outset, I’ll say that I don’t have any teaching degrees or certifications. But I believe that I’ve earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Lessons! Dare I say a Master’s? I definitely don't have all the answers, but God has given me the ability to gain supernatural wisdom from my life experiences. I want to share that wisdom and hopefully help you navigate through your tough times. I pray that my voice will become the voice of a trusted friend, sister or perhaps even a mom.

Hi Friends,
No one likes to suffer...if you do, let me know. I got a good therapist for you.
All jokes aside, suffering comes whether we like it or not. So what is at the other side of that suffering? What is the fruit of that time?
Can we say like Joseph that "...God has made me fruitful in the land of my suffering"?
Listen in and be blessed!

Hi Friends!
What if the woman with the issue of blood from Mark 5 thought her healing wasn't worth pushing past the crowd to Jesus? It wouldn't have only affected her life, but ours as well. How many millions of people have received such breakthroughs because of HER story?!
What "crowd" is keeping you from receiving YOUR story of healing with Jesus?
Have you ever thought that you not pushing through is also affecting the story of others in your life, people you love, people God has appointed to you?
Listen in and let's identify your crowd! Make a decision today to push past it!

Hi Friends,
You may be asking yourself, what is a prodigal spirit? I know asked myself the same thing when the Lord first dropped that in my spirit a couple months ago. Many have heard the story of the Prodigal Son found in Luke 15 and many of us are praying for the prodigals we love to come home to the Father as well. But could it be that even though we have physically come back to the Father’s house, our heart reveals something else?
Listen in as I share what the Lord has showed me and let's make sure we release that prodigal spirit from our heart and minds!

Hi Friends!
Knowing who you are matters! We think we know who we are, but in reality could be living out
a lie that we were told long ago. And now that lie is being told to our children and children's children.
The identity of our children, our teens is being assaulted on a daily basis. They need us to get it together
so we can help them.
I pray as you listen in, that you will be empowered by who you really are meant to be!
It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for. Long before we first heard of Christ and got our hopes up, he had his eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose he is working out in everything and everyone. Ephesians 1:11-12 MSG

Hi Friends,
Today my podcast is about spiritual leadership. I talk about areas that I've struggled with, learned from, been humbled in and repented. If we want our ministries to be fruitful, we need to recognize when it's time to repent. Sometimes our own lack of repentance is what is not allowing God's promises be fulfilled!
Listen in and share. Let's repent, heal and be fruitful in our leadership. Let's sow into and produce other leaders that will bless and not hurt.
"The authority by which the Christian leader leads is not power but love, not force but example, not coercion but reasoned persuasion. Leaders have power, but power is safe only in the hands of those who humble themselves to serve.-John Stott
Be on guard for yourselves and for all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood.-Acts 20:28
Only people of proven character should be placed in positions of spiritual leadership.

As a Christian, I have said things that sound right, sound good, make me feel good, but aren't biblical

Well, if we're honest, as I have had to be in

figure that out, surrender it to God, the faith that we need

The wounds we receive from our earthly fathers, whether
knowingly or unknowingly, create "Daddy issues."
These issues will direct our decisions and behaviors.
Hear the heart of the Heavenly Father today regarding who He is
and can be for you.
It will bring such healing, a new perspective and encouragement.

On today's Monday Meditation, I will be sharing my journey through...because I have made it to the other side...my Dark Days of Depression from my first encounter with it to my most recent battle. God always exposes the enemy in my life for my freedom and the freedom of others. Jesus DIED, friends, so that we would be free from sin, but also free from emotional disease, burdens and traumas. So, my friends, no matter how difficult the battle is, I will always try to share what God leads me to share. But more importantly because at the end of it all, I AM VICTORIOUS through JESUS who LOVES ME!

Have you defined who you are based on one season in your life?
Have you allowed others to see you through the lens of that season and that season alone?
No matter how traumatic or how difficult certain times in our lives can be, we have to be careful to make sure it doesn't become ALL we are.
Listen in as I share some insight into this subject and I show you persons in the Bible that their destiny changed because they didn't allow their
past to define them.
