Recently, the CIA lost control of the majority of its hacking arsenal including malware, viruses, trojans, weaponized "zero day" exploits, malware remote control systems and associated documentation. This extraordinary collection, which amounts to more than several hundred million lines of code, gives its possessor the entire hacking capacity of the CIA. The archive appears to have been circulated among former U.S. government hackers and contractors in an unauthorized manner, one of whom has provided WikiLeaks with portions of the archive.

When Adele honored and symbolically gave to Beyonce’ what she richly deserved (the album of the year) at the Grammy awards, she broke ranks with the music industry, which can’t get past its racial programming, its racial preference and its racial provincialism. Similarly, if we stop whining and complaining about Trump and Trumpism for a minute, we can see that lots of people are breaking from xenophobia, bigotry and the narrowness of White Supremacy, capitalism and Trump’s plain meanness.

The son of famed disc jockey Rudy “The Deuce” Rutherford, the first Black man to host a non-gospel television show in the Deep South – Columbus, Georgia, 1958 – Glen was reading newswire copy on-the-air at age eleven. Glen’s first full-time broadcast news job was at James Brown’s Augusta, Georgia radio station WRDW, in 1970 – where ‘The Godfather of Soul” shortened Glen’s surname to “Ford.”
Ford also produced the McDonald’s-sponsored radio series “Black History Through Music,” aired on 50 stations, nationwide.
In 1987, Ford launched “Rap It Up,” the first nationally syndicated Hip Hop music show, broadcast on 65 radio stations. During its six years of operations, “Rap It Up” allowed Ford to play an important role in the maturation of a new African American musical genre. He organized three national rap music conventions, and wrote the Hip Hop column for Jack The Rapper’s Black radio trade magazine.
In addition to his broadcast and Internet experience, Glen Ford was national political columnist for Encore American & Worldwide News magazine; founded The Black Commentator and Africana Policies magazines; authored The Big Lie: An Analysis of U.S. Media Coverage of the Grenada Invasion (IOJ, 1985); voiced over 1000 radio commercials (half of which he also produced) and scores of television commercials; and served as reporter and editor for three newspapers (two daily, one weekly).

Today Rhymes Media Group is introducing a new broadcast "Monique In The Street," with Minnesota veteran activist Monique Cullars Doty. Monique will be the on-the-scene correspondent for RMG at the various events, for justice, in the Twin Cities area.
On November 19th Minneapolis Police Officer Hamilton opened fire on a car with six young adults in it in downtown Minneapolis for no good reason. The driver of the car had been ordered to back up by other officers blocking a street where up ahead there had been some violent incidents. While backing up the car collided with (or was hit by) an oncoming police car. Three seconds later MPD Officer Hamilton jumped out of his car and opened fire on the young woman's car risking the lives of the young people inside. Miraculously none of the passengers were physically injured.
Hamilton has been charged with second-degree assault and intentional discharge of a firearm, charges that can land him in prison for 12 years in prison.
We will laso be disussing the Allen Scarsella case. Allen "Lance" Scarsella, a white supremacist, shot five Black protesters at the #Justice4Jamar 4th precinct occupatron. This case is important in fighting #Justice4Philando as we do not want to make space for #WhiteSupremacy
While Scarsella is claiming self defense, #Justice4Jamar & #Justice4Philando believes he should be charged with premeditated murder and a hate crime. He planned his actions beforehand, showed up armed to a peaceful protest, antagonized community members with racist slurs while livestreaming, and then shot 5 Black men when he was asked to leave. This has every appearance of the system protecting Scarsella and the other 3 men involved by refusing to carry out a thorough investigation, grossly undercharging them and stalling the legal process.

Her first book, Classroom Wars: Language, Sex, and the Making of Modern Political Culture (Oxford, 2015), explores the roots of the culture wars in American public schools, specifically amid heated battles over sexuality and bilingual education. Her latest research traces the rise of “wellness culture” since the 1950s, asking how and why Americans have increasingly linked food and fitness regimes to the pursuit of self-fulfillment.
These scholarly pursuits are closely linked to her wellness activism as co-founder of HealthClass2.0, an experiential health education program that bridges a wellness gap in public school education and connects university mentors with K-12 students. She is also a Premiere Leader of intenSati, an innovative mind-body practice, which she teaches at Equinox Fitness and privately.
Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, Slate, and The Huffington Post, and she writes a biweekly “fitness history” column for Well+Good and am a co-host of the Past Present Podcast. She's been featured as an expert historian on venues such as Brian Lehrer TV, The History Channel, and in The Atlantic. Her work in wellness has been covered by many publications including The Guardian, Well+Good, Univision, and Fox 5 NY. She received a BA from Columbia College and a MA and Ph.D. from Stanford University, all in History. She lives and works in New York City.
