There is a right way and a wrong way to share the Gospel. The Apostle Paul is an example of the right way. For a lot of us, we are going about it the wrong way.
Paul preached Jesus Christ and Him crucified. If that's you... then you are probably bearing some fruit. But if your branches only have leaves, we invite you to take stock of how you are sharing God's Word. And if you wonder about being persecuted, you will be! but hopefully for the right reason!

The word Devastating means highly destructive or damaging. And that is exactly the affect the LGBTQ movement has on not only the people within it, but on those around it. That includes immediate and extended family, children in schools, the business world, and yes, especially Christians and The Church.
In this episode we break it down into 3 parts. First, we will state clearly and plainly what the Bible says about it. Second, we will discuss how God wants us to respond and treat people within the movement, especially people that are close to us. Sometimes we pray so fervently for something, and it doesn't happen. But it's not as if God doesn't hear, He does, but he may not answer. And He may NEVER answer... or maybe He is waiting to answer. In this episode, Luisa and I use our own testimony as we go through the trials of life, waiting on God. It is a roller coaster ride, but but God is sovereign, and in control.
God is Love. It says so in 1 John 4 and verse 16. And God has a standard of love that He expects from us, and commands us to follow. And it's all laid out in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. The trouble is, we all fall short of this standard. So we invite you on a journey through this passage to see where we can all glorify God in how we love others.
Actually, Jesus came to serve, and not be served. And that should be our attitude as church members. Service comes in a variety of ways, and its not always so obvious. So we invite you to consider the many ways you can serve the kingdom and the saints. We don't have salvation based on our service, but our service is an indication of our salvation. How about you?
As true believers, we anxiously await the return of our savior. It is a certainty that He will return, but when will it be? And how will we know? Thankfully, our Lord Jesus answers these questions in great detail in the pages of The Bible. He tells us the signs, and warns us that we need to be prepared. And the consequence if we are not prepared. So come on this journey with us as eternity comes closer to reality.
So what is God's Will? This subject is a source of confusion for many Christians. How do we know what it is? Where can we find it? How does God reveal it to us? There is a very narrow and specific answer to these questions, and it may not be what you think it is. We invite you to shed any pre-conceived ideas and come see what GOD wants you to know about His Will!
In Part 2 of Walk by the Spirit, we see the Fruit that the Holy Spirit produces when we move along in the sanctification process. As true believers, these traits will be evident in us to some degree as we walk along side God. As easy as it is to walk in our flesh, it is just as difficult to bear the fruit of Gods good work in us. We pray that the awareness of how to honor Him in our walk will convict our flesh and help our branch produce fruit worthy of the manner in which we are called.
The flesh and the Spirit are in a constant battle for control of our desires. The flesh is our default way of being, but the Holy Spirit was indwelt in us by God's saving grace. So the tug of war will continue until the return of Jesus. In this 2 part series, we discuss the sins of the flesh and the fruit of the Spirit. We pray that you will recognize yourselves in both parts as God moves us along in the sanctification process.
The World and many professing Christians have the idea that at one point they have or will choose to follow God, as if they possess the power and the desire to do so. It's easy to allow our prideful self to think such ridiculous thoughts. But The Bible and God's Word state that no such power or desire exists among mortal man. God chooses us, and and it is quite random. There is no explanation given and no reason why. It is just God's sovereign choice. You either believe in it or you don't. In todays episode we discuss some familiar verses that prove out God's Word. Enjoy!
Sometimes God wants to get your attention, and He will use whatever He wants to in order to make His point. For us, getting COVID right at Christmas opened up our spiritual eyes and ears to see the true meaning of Christmas. Even as Christians, we can get caught up in the worldly side of things, and it takes the power of God to get us back. We invite you to listen and maybe learn a thing or two for yourself!
The Bible has a lot to say about how we raise our Children. God has sustained His church for over 2000 years by showing us how to pass the baton to the next generation. This wisdom is good if you are a young couple just starting out. It is also good if you are single and plan on a family one day. It's good if you have older children and its good if you are Grandparents and want to minister to your grandchildren. In other words, God has it all covered!
Does God really command us to give 10% of our gross salary as an offering? According to many churches in this day and age, the answer is yes. But what does God have to say about this? In John chapter 15, our Lord Jesus says, "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first". Those words from 2000 years ago still ring true today, and it has intensified. God gives us many gifts, and they are all GOOD. But there are two gifts where He gives us an option... the gift of Marriage and the gift of Singleness. Nobody likes being deceived, but Satan has been deceiving us since the beginning of time. He wants us to think how great we are, and that God has nothing to do with it. So while he deceives us, we are also deceiving ourselves, because we believe the lie. But the Sin of Pride carries a stiff penalty, and that is God's judgement. In a perfect world, all of our family members would be saved. We would have the assurance of spending eternity together praising The Lord. But the reality for many of us is just the opposite. We are left to wonder what awaits them on the day of judgement. When we think about Idolatry, we often refer to Old Testament Israel and the worship of the Golden Calf or some wood carving. But Idolatry in the 21st century has taken sin to a new level, one that we may never recover from. Gratitude is an attribute of a mature believer. We know that every good and perfect gift is from above... We are not worthy of anything, and we certainly can do nothing to earn it.
