The animal in question has a TOOTH coming out of the head and swims in the water. Well of course that must mean that it's a Narwhal.

Josh happens to love monkeys more than most animals. We ended up taking 14 mins just talking about monkeys. So we've split 'M is for...' into two episodes to bring reduce the time on individual podcasts.

It turns out it is quite difficult to get a four year old to stay to a strict 18 to 20 min episode length.

Monkeys
Scientific name - Cercopithecidae
Group name - Troop

This week Joshua and I wrap up the 4 other E animals including the electric eel, elk, echidna, and the eagle. Our E is for got split into two episodes as my father took over the Elephant discussion as it's his favourite animal and he has the collectibles to prove it. Look forward to other special guest discuss their favourite animals as we go through the alphabet.

Joshua absolutely loved discussing the eagle and could hardly wait to get the podcast going with eagles.

Did you know that the echidna is weirder than the platypus? I didn't think it was possible until I dug into the research to do this episode.

The scientific names for the animals this week are
Electric Eel - Electrophorus electricus
Elk - Cervus canadensis
Echidna - Tachyglossus aculeatus
Eagle - Haliaeetus leucocephalus

Thanks for all your support! Especially the 2 listeners in Germany!!! (love to know if that stat is true or if my brother in law is just using a VPN)

A two year old and his father talk about animals. Season one will take you through 5 animals each episode starting with a letter of the alphabet. As everyone knows you have to start then at the beginning of the alphabet with the letter A. In this episode we will talk about Alligators, Anteaters, Aardvarks, Angler Fish and Albatros. The animals will be split between Air, Land and Sea, in the broad sense as many animals interact with more than one area.
