There comes a point in every career where working harder simply isn't the answer.

There are still only 168 hours in a week, and you can't keep pushing harder than you already are. Eventually, success stops being about doing more and starts being about leading differently - through stronger boundaries, greater self-respect, and the courage to stop trying to earn everyone's approval.

In this episode, you'll discover one of the biggest mindset shifts successful leaders make: choosing respect over approval. You'll learn why clear boundaries, honest conversations and consistent actions earn lasting credibility, while constantly seeking approval can quietly erode your influence.

If you're ready to be seen as someone people trust, rely on and look to for direction, this conversation will give you practical insights you can apply immediately. Because leadership isn't about making everyone comfortable - it's about respecting yourself enough to do what's right, even when it's difficult.

What if confidence isn't something you build by thinking about yourself more but by thinking about yourself less?

In this episode, you'll discover a simple mindset shift that can transform the way you show up at work, in conversations, and as a leader.

Instead of worrying about whether you're saying the right thing or making the right impression, you'll learn how asking one powerful question: How can I leave this better than I found it? can quiet self-doubt and replace it with purpose.

You'll discover why the smallest acts of contribution often create the biggest impact, how tiny improvements compound over time, and why focusing on adding value builds genuine confidence from the inside out. If you've ever overthought meetings, questioned your abilities or wanted to be noticed for the right reasons, this episode will give you a practical mindset you can start using immediately.

Because the people who create the biggest impact aren't always the loudest, they're the ones who leave every person, conversation and workplace a little better than they found it.

You're the person everyone turns to... The one who listens, supports, problem-solves, and holds everything together. But what happens when carrying everyone else's emotions starts weighing you down?

In this episode, you'll explore the growing expectation that leaders, teachers, managers, and high-performing professionals should also act as

  • counsellors,
  • therapists, and
  • emotional shock absorbers.

While empathy is a powerful leadership skill, taking responsibility for everyone's wellbeing can leave you exhausted, overwhelmed, and unable to perform at your best.

You'll learn how to lead with compassion without absorbing other people's problems, why healthy boundaries aren't cold or selfish, and how to recognise when support needs to come from a trained professional rather than from you.

Key Takeaways

  • Empathy and emotional responsibility are not the same thing.
  • Great leaders support people without becoming their therapist.
  • Boundaries can be both kind and effective.
  • Referring people to the right support is leadership, not abandonment.
  • Sustainable leadership requires carrying the right things, not everything.

If you feel the increasing reliance on you to be everything to everyone, including holding emotional space that prevents you from doing your role, this episode will help you step back, identify and lead with greater clarity, self-respect, and therefore... impact.

You don't need another productivity hack.

You need to understand why you're exhausted despite doing everything "right."

If you're constantly responding to emails, solving everyone's problems, carrying the emotional load at work and home, and wondering why you feel drained all the time, this episode is for you.

In this conversation, Rhiannon explores a hard truth: you cannot lead strategically when your nervous system believes it's under attack. When you're stuck in constant urgency, your decision-making suffers, your confidence drops, your team becomes dependent on you, and burnout becomes inevitable.

You'll learn:

  • Why burnout isn't a motivation problem.
  • The hidden cost of being "the reliable one."
  • How stress impacts your leadership, communication, and relationships.
  • Why recovery isn't a luxury, it's part of high performance.
  • Practical ways to create more calm, clarity, and strategic thinking.

Because the goal isn't to work harder.

It's to lead better.

And that starts with taking your foot off the accelerator long enough to remember you're human.

You already know how to be professional.

In this episode, you'll learn simple, practical ways to build deeper trust, stronger relationships, and genuine connection without sacrificing your professionalism. Rhiannon shares her BANTER framework :), showing you how small moments of authenticity, curiosity, encouragement, and care can transform the way people experience you.

If you've ever worried about saying the wrong thing, struggled to build rapport, or felt like your competence wasn't translating into influence, this episode will give you a new perspective.

You already know you're good at what you do.

You work hard, take your responsibilities seriously, and strive to show up as a capable professional. But have you ever wondered why, despite all that competence, you still feel a little disconnected from the people around you?

In this episode, you'll discover why connection, not confidence, might be the missing piece.

Rhiannon explores the surprising role humour, authenticity, and "banter" play in creating trust, belonging, and psychological safety in teams and relationships. You'll learn why perfection can unintentionally create distance, how vulnerability builds stronger connections, and why the most respected leaders aren't always the most polished... they're often the most human.

If you've ever felt pressure to have it all together, struggled to speak up, or wished you could connect more naturally with others, this episode will help you rethink what great communication really looks like.

They want to know you.

You’re probably someone who cares deeply about doing a good job, being respected, and proving you’re capable.

But somewhere along the way, you may have started feeling like you have to have all the answers. In this episode, Rhiannon shares a powerful reminder that great leadership isn’t about talking louder, pushing harder, or carrying everything yourself. It’s about listening. Really listening.

Through a heartfelt coaching story, you’ll hear how confidence can sometimes swing too far into over-controlling and why the leaders people trust most are the ones who make others feel seen, heard, and valued. You’ll learn how to ask better questions, create real buy-in, and stop unintentionally shutting people out when you’re under pressure.

If you’ve ever felt unheard at work, struggled to speak up, or worried you’re “getting leadership wrong,” this episode will help you soften, reconnect, and lead with more confidence and compassion

You say you want more for your life… but are your actions actually matching the future you dream about?

In this deeply honest episode, Rhiannon explores the hidden comfort of overthinking, planning, dreaming, and waiting - and why so many smart, capable women stay stuck in the space between wanting change and actually creating it.

If you’ve ever caught yourself saying:

  • “I know what I should do, but I’m just not doing it,”
  • “I feel capable of more, but I can’t seem to move,”
  • or “Maybe when life calms down…”

… this conversation will hit home.

Through personal stories, mindset shifts, and powerful coaching insights, Rhiannon challenges you to stop hiding in potential and start getting honest about what you truly want, what you’re willing to sacrifice, and the small steps that actually move your life forward.

This episode is your reminder that clarity doesn’t come from thinking about your future endlessly. It comes from taking action. Even before you feel fully ready.

You’re not stuck because you lack capability, you’re stuck because you’re waiting to feel ready. This episode gently challenges that. It reminds you that the life, career, and confidence you want won’t come from overthinking… it comes from doing the hard things you’ve been avoiding.

You’ll hear why clarity doesn’t come before action - it comes because of it. Why the leaders and people you admire aren’t more certain than you… they’re just more willing to commit and figure it out as they go. And why the discomfort you feel? That’s not a sign to stop. It’s a sign you’re growing.

This is your permission to stop sitting on the fence. To choose a direction, even if it’s imperfect. To lean in when it would be easier to check out.

Because the truth is you don’t need more time, more confidence, or more validation.

You just need to decide… and back yourself.

You keep replaying conversations, wondering what you did wrong. But what if… you’re not the problem?

In this episode, you’ll start to see that not every uncomfortable interaction is a reflection of your capability. Sometimes it’s personality clashes, unclear expectations, or environments that don’t match how you lead best.

The real shift? Learning to separate your self-worth from other people’s reactions.

You’ll discover how to build “leadership guardrails”: clear standards for how you show up, communicate, and make decisions, so you stop spiralling after every tough conversation. Because when you know who you are as a leader, you stop outsourcing your confidence to everyone else in the room.

Key takeaway: self-awareness matters, but over-analysis is keeping you stuck.

You don’t need to fix yourself. You need to strategically set your standards which will provide you with a strong foundation and your leadership guard rails.

When you do, you’ll finally lead, speak, and show up without second-guessing every move.

You’ve realised control isn’t working but how do you actually let go without everything falling apart? This episode gives you the how.

You’ll learn the practical frameworks that make delegation feel safe and effective, like the 70% rule, using checkpoints instead of control, and knowing exactly when to direct vs when to consult.

This is where leadership becomes intentional. You stop guessing, stop hovering, and start leading with clarity. Your team knows what’s expected, takes ownership, and grows in capability, without you burning out in the process.

If Episode 198 was the wake-up call, this is the game plan.

Key Takeaways:

  • The 70% rule helps you delegate without fear
  • Replace micromanagement with structured checkpoints
  • Know when to direct (high risk) vs consult (growth & buy-in)
  • Clarity of roles, KPIs, and strategy unlocks performance
  • Great leaders create clarity, not complexity

You’re working harder than ever… yet still feeling stuck. This episode will challenge you to see why. What feels like being “on top of everything” is actually overengineering, and it’s quietly driven by self-doubt, not strength.

When you overthink, over-control, and add layers of process, you don’t create better outcomes, you create hesitation, dependency, and disconnection in your team. They stop taking initiative. You become the bottleneck. And the pressure on you only grows.

The real shift?

Letting go before you feel ready. Trusting your team to figure things out, even if it’s messy. Because leadership isn’t about proving yourself... it’s about creating space for others to perform.

If you’re exhausted from carrying it all, this episode will show you why and what to change first.

Key Takeaways:

  • Overengineering is self-doubt in disguise
  • Micromanagement creates dependency, not performance
  • Control slows teams and isolates decision-making
  • Empowerment requires discomfort—but drives growth
  • Leadership is about enabling, not doing

You’re not broken, distracted, or “losing it” - you’re exhausted. And it’s quietly costing you your focus, your confidence, and your voice.

In this episode, you’ll finally understand why your brain feels foggy, why you forget what you were about to say, and why you hesitate in moments that matter. It’s not your capability - it’s your sleep.

You’ll discover how poor sleep disrupts your memory, drains your dopamine, and makes you cognitively unreliable (which is why you hesitate and second-guess yourself). More importantly, you’ll learn how screens, stress, and modern life are trapping you in a cycle that keeps you stuck.

Key takeaways:

  • Sleep is your brain’s reset for focus, memory, and clarity
  • Low sleep = low confidence (not low competence)
  • Your distractions are symptoms, not the problem

If you’ve been feeling “off,” this will give you your power back.

Before you question yourself… question your sleep.

You’re not losing your edge - you’re overloaded. In this episode, you’ll finally understand why you feel scattered, forgetful, and stuck in overthinking… even though you know you’re capable of more.

This isn’t a confidence problem. It’s a cognitive one.

You’ll see how constant screen time, AI reliance, and dopamine spikes are quietly rewiring your focus, memory, and ability to communicate clearly, especially in the moments that matter most at work. And why that frustrating “I know this… but I can’t say it” feeling keeps showing up.

More importantly, you’ll learn how to take back control: Without quitting your job, deleting social media, or becoming someone you’re not.

Key takeaways:

  • Why you’re struggling to focus, recall, and articulate ideas
  • The link between dopamine, distraction, and your voice
  • Simple ways to rebuild deep focus and mental clarity

If you’ve been second-guessing yourself lately, this will explain why, and show you the way forward.

You’re not losing your edge, you’re losing your focus. And in a world designed to distract you, that’s not your fault… but it is your responsibility.

This episode helps you see why you keep second-guessing yourself, zoning out in meetings, and struggling to articulate what you know you’re capable of. It’s not a lack of intelligence or confidence, it’s an attention problem driven by constant dopamine hits, screen time, and mental overload.

When you can’t access your thoughts in the moment, you stay quiet. You miss opportunities. And slowly, you start questioning your worth.

But here’s the shift: your brain isn’t broken, it’s just been trained for speed, not depth. And you can retrain it.

Key takeaways:

  • Your environment is rewiring your focus (not your ability)
  • Distraction is killing your confidence and visibility
  • Deep focus is the gateway to speaking up and leading

This is where you take your power back.

You’ve probably felt it before—the moment when something small at work triggers a wave of doubt, frustration, or the urge to tighten your grip on everything around you. In this episode, you’ll discover why that reaction isn’t about the situation at all - it’s about significance.

When you feel overlooked, questioned, or out of control, your ego jumps in to protect your identity. You start micromanaging, overthinking, or withdrawing. Sound familiar? This episode breaks down the powerful connection between significance, ego, and control, and shows you how these forces quietly shape your behaviour at work.

You’ll learn how to recognise the trigger, question the story your ego is telling you, and release the need to control every outcome. Instead of spiralling into self-doubt or defensiveness, you’ll step into grounded leadership and calm influence.

If you’re tired of second-guessing yourself or feeling like you have to prove your worth, this episode will help you lead, and live, from a place of real confidence.

Have you ever noticed how quickly things can shift at work? One minute someone is calm and confident… the next they’re micromanaging, over-explaining, shutting down, or questioning everything. If you’ve ever felt confused by that, or caught yourself doing it too, this episode will help it all make sense.

In this conversation, you’ll learn how control, ego, and significance quietly drive the way people behave under pressure. When someone feels like they’re losing control, their behaviour changes - and each personality type reacts differently.

You’ll start to recognise the patterns: the leader who suddenly pushes harder, the people-pleaser who tries to win everyone back, the quiet team player who withdraws, or the over-thinker who spirals into analysis.

But here’s the powerful shift: it’s rarely about competence. It’s about significance.

When you understand what’s really happening underneath these reactions, you stop shrinking, stop second-guessing, and start navigating workplace dynamics with far more clarity and confidence.

You’re smart. Capable. Hardworking. But when things feel uncertain at work - when promotions are missed, feedback stings, or someone else gets recognised - something tightens inside you.

This episode unpacks what’s really happening.

You’ll explore the powerful loop between control, ego, and significance, and how your need to feel valued can quietly drive overworking, overthinking, micromanaging, or withdrawing. You’ll see how imposter syndrome isn’t a capability issue - it’s identity protection. And you’ll learn why trying to control everything around you never actually creates internal safety.

Key takeaways:

  • Control is often your attempt to regulate discomfort.
  • Ego isn’t arrogance - it’s protection.
  • Your worth cannot be performance-dependent.
  • True confidence comes from internal grounding, not external validation.

If you’ve ever second-guessed yourself, downplayed your strengths, or felt triggered by workplace dynamics, this episode will give you language, clarity, and relief.

And next week? You’ll get the framework to change it.

You’ve spent years measuring your worth by how you look. This episode invites you to shift the question from “Do I look good enough?” to “What can my body do for me?”

Inspired by a powerful conversation on The Diary of a CEO with Steven Bartlett and leading female medical experts, you’ll explore the truth about hormones, perimenopause, strength, and why understanding your body is one of the most empowering things you can do.

You’ll also hear a raw reflection on body comparison, gym culture, and the subtle ways jealousy and self-criticism creep in — even when you think you’ve “done the work.”

Key takeaways:

  • Shift from appearance to capability: strength over skinny.
  • Understand your hormonal baseline as a foundation for long-term health.
  • Replace comparison with gratitude and self-respect.

If you’re tired of second-guessing your reflection and ready to feel powerful in your own skin, this one’s for you.

You’re smart. You’re capable. But when pressure hits at work, do you defend… justify… over-explain?

In this episode, you’ll learn how to communicate in a way that earns trust, influence and real respect - especially when you’re reporting up (or managing down).

Here’s what you’ll take away:

  1. Ownership builds power. When you make a mistake, less defending and more owning changes everything. A simple apology and accountability builds credibility faster than 10,000 excuses ever will.
  2. Pause before you fire. If you’re naturally fiery or emotional, learning when to hold back - and read the room - will instantly elevate how you’re perceived.
  3. Clarity creates confidence. What you put in writing (carefully) builds structure, boundaries and protection - but tone and timing matter.

If you’ve been feeling misunderstood, micromanaged or frustrated with leadership, this episode will help you shift how you show up - so you gain influence instead of shrinking or pushing back.

This is how you step up without burning bridges.

When you’re a leader stuck in the middle - managing up, supporting down, and trying not to lose yourself in the process - it can feel exhausting, confusing, and quietly overwhelming. This episode breaks down the real keys to leading well in that in-between space, without burning out, people-pleasing, or disengaging.

Key takeaway #1: Know what’s within your control - and what isn’t.
You’ll learn why holding onto frustration about things you can’t change drains your energy and your team’s morale. Strong leaders escalate what matters, advocate clearly, and then let go, instead of carrying resentment that slowly turns toxic.

Key takeaway #2: Write things down to create clarity and accountability.
Respect, trust, and expectations can’t stay vague. When you define them clearly, you give yourself (and others) permission to hold the line, make decisions, and build a healthy team culture.

Key takeaway #3: Lead from service, not self-sacrifice.
True leadership isn’t about absorbing everything - it’s about supporting others with intention, boundaries, and integrity.

If you’re navigating the middle and want to lead with confidence, clarity, and credibility, this episode is your guide.

This episode is a deep dive into bad btch energy - what it is, what it isn’t, and why it changes everything. You’ll hear why real empowerment doesn’t come from aggression or comparison, but from security, abundance, and self-trust. Rhiannon unpacks the kind of female friendships that expand* you: women who are genuinely happy for your success, hold you to your standards, tell you the truth, and don’t compete or keep score.

You’ll explore how bad b*tch energy shows up as decisiveness, focus, and momentum: making the call, taking the action, and dealing with the fallout instead of playing it safe and shrinking. This is about choosing movement over perfection, standards over approval, and ownership over overthinking.

Stop hesitating, people-pleasing, or dimming yourself to keep the peace. This episode is a reminder that you’re allowed to take up space - and win - alongside other powerful women.

If you identify as a recovering perfectionist... or suspect you might be one, this episode is for you. You’ll recognise the pressure to get everything right, the over-editing, the time guilt, the anxiety before and after you speak, and the quiet belief that if you just try harder, you’ll finally feel calm.

This episode is a practical, compassionate guide to understanding how perfectionism really operates in your life - not as a flaw, but as a learned safety strategy rooted in high expectations, people-pleasing, and fear of judgment. You’ll see how it shows up through overthinking, harsh self-talk, unrealistic time standards, and the constant feeling of being “behind.”

More importantly, you’ll learn how to recover without losing your integrity. You’ll be guided through tools to shift from perfection to progress: prioritising output over over-polishing, time-blocking with boundaries, journaling to reality-check your standards, and building trust in yourself and others.

This episode helps you trade pressure for calm, and finally breathe again.

You’re smart, capable, and self-aware - but when it comes to family dynamics, emotional labour, or old patterns that still sting, you might feel torn between compassion and resentment?

In this episode, you’re invited into a deeply human conversation about what it really means to lead with love - without bypassing your anger, minimising your pain, or excusing behaviour that hurts you.

You’ll hear why holding space doesn’t mean carrying other people’s emotions for them, and how empathy can sometimes make things heavier instead of lighter.

You’ll learn the difference between feeling for someone and allowing them to feel for themselves. Most importantly, you’ll explore how to break generational cycles without hardening your heart or losing your voice.

Key takeaways:

  • Why compassion without boundaries drains you
  • How to process anger before choosing forgiveness
  • How leading with love starts with self-respect, not self-sacrifice

This episode gently reframes why change feels so hard, and shows you how to step off the hamster wheel without burning everything down.

You don’t need more pressure or bigger resolutions this year. You need a smarter, kinder way to go after what you want. In this episode, you’re invited to pause, reset, and rethink how you approach goals, especially if you’re someone who starts strong but loses momentum along the way.

You’ll hear why willpower alone isn’t the problem, and how real, sustainable change comes from aligning three essential pillars: your capability, your capacity, and your motivation. This conversation gently helps you understand yourself better, instead of judging why you “can’t stick to things.”

Key takeaways you’ll love:

  • Why losing motivation doesn’t mean you’re broken, it means your system needs adjusting
  • How to protect your energy so goals don’t feel heavy or draining
  • A simple framework to help you create momentum that actually lasts

This episode is a permission slip you rarely give yourself: permission to slow down, to feel, and to actually be in your life, without guilt. Recorded in the quiet space between Christmas chaos and reflection, Rhiannon explores how constant busyness keeps you disconnected from pleasure, clarity, and desire. This isn’t about quitting your ambition or doing less forever. It’s about recognising when the hamster wheel is stopping you from noticing what’s working, what’s draining you, and what you no longer want to carry into 2026.

Key takeaways:

  • Why slowing down is essential for regulating your nervous system and reconnecting with yourself.
  • How your senses and thoughts shape your emotional state, and what happens when you never pause to notice them.
  • A simple, non-dramatic way to reflect on your life (career, relationships, energy) without needing a massive overhaul.

If you’re exhausted from overthinking, staying polite, and shrinking yourself to survive work… this episode is your loving wake-up call.

In Episode 181, Rhiannon speaks directly to the moment when reflection stops helping and action becomes the only way forward. This is about unmuting yourself when silence is costing you confidence, credibility, and momentum.

Through a recent client “blast session,” you’ll hear why waiting to be noticed, included, or validated keeps you stuck... and how confidence is built by doing, not being chosen.

This episode is about pulling your hair into a ponytail, stepping into discomfort, and owning your work, your voice, and your space. Even when your hands shake.

Key takeaways:

  1. Confidence grows when you stop managing perception and start taking ownership.
  2. Being talked over ends when you decide to be seen and heard.
  3. Unmuting yourself will feel uncomfortable, but silence feels worse.

This is Unmute in action.

In this raw and grounding conversation, Rhiannon takes you on a journey into self-forgiveness - the quiet, unseen skill that might be the barrier between where you are and the confident woman you know you can be. • How to recognise when a “small thing” is actually a deep trigger
  • A simple, powerful process to release emotional weight and move forward

In this episode, Rhiannon breaks down what really steals your “mojo” as an ambitious, capable woman - and how to get it back without hustling harder or pretending you’re fine. Rhiannon shares her own experience of drifting, doubting, pushing, stopping, and starting again - then reveals the three levers that reliably reignite your fire: environment, self-talk, and desire.

You’ll learn why your surroundings may be quietly draining you, how subtle phrases like “I’m trying” weaken your identity, and why reconnecting to sensory desire (what you want to see, touch, taste, feel, and become) is the fastest path back to inspiration. Rhiannon gives simple, actionable tools: mirror work, movement, visual recall, and reminding yourself how far you’ve come... so you can shift out of stagnation and into momentum.

Consider:

  • Environment is destiny: Your space either inspires you or numbs you.
  • Self-talk sets your identity: “I’m trying” keeps you small. “I am” moves you forward.
  • Desire isn’t indulgent, it’s fuel: Reconnect to what visually, emotionally, and physically turns you on (creatively, energetically, sexually, professionally).
  • Movement creates momentum: Your body leads your brain.
  • Looking up = hope. Literally. Visual recall unlocks vision.
  • Progress is often invisible until you look backwards. Celebrate evidence.
  • You can borrow someone else’s belief in you until yours returns.

This isn’t fluff. It’s a reset button: practical, honest, and completely within your control.

If you’ve ever felt like one part of your life is “off”… and suddenly everything else feels heavier, Episode 178 is your permission slip to stop ignoring that friction. In this episode, we walk through how one misaligned environment - a draining workplace, an unsupportive team, a value clash, even a stagnant routine - can quietly spiral into your confidence, energy, relationships, and motivation.

You’ll learn how why you feel like you’ve outgrown certain spaces, and why staying too long somewhere that doesn’t meet your standards leads to burnout, buffering, and second-guessing.

Key takeaways:

  • Misalignment in one area cascades into all others.
  • You may be operating at a higher level than your environment allows.
  • Small changes (not dramatic leaps) can restore energy and clarity.
  • Understanding your needs is the first step to reclaiming momentum.

This episode will help you finally name what’s been “off” - and what to shift next.

In this episode, you’re taken on a raw, honest journey into what it really means to feel in a world that keeps telling you to stay composed. If you’re the woman who holds it all together at work - who swallows frustration, hides overwhelm, and pushes through because “there’s no space for emotions here” - this one hits home.

You’ll hear how suppressed emotions sabotage confidence, clarity, and communication, and why your feelings are not weakness, but data. You’ll walk through the moment where frustration spills over, the self-reflection that follows, and the powerful reframe: emotions are not something to “manage”… they’re something to use.

Key takeaways:

  • Your emotions are information, not liability.
  • When you ignore them, you disconnect from your own power.
  • When you honour them, you communicate with integrity and self-respect.
  • You deserve to feel alive - not just functional.

This episode will help you stop fighting your feelings… and finally start listening to them.

You know those moments where you’re so frustrated because you know you’re capable of more, but you can’t quite figure out why you’re not showing up that way?

You’re smart. You work hard. You care. But deep down, something feels off... Like you’re holding yourself to standards that don’t match the woman you’re becoming.

Here’s the thing: you already have standards. Everyone does. They’re the invisible expectations you’ve been living by - the ones that dictate how you treat yourself, how you let others treat you, how much effort you give, and what you’re willing to tolerate. And if you’ve ever found yourself thinking “Why do I always end up here again?”… this episode will tell you exactly why.

Because the truth is, you don’t get what you want, you get what you tolerate.
You get the results your standards create.

In this episode, we’re getting real about standards

  1. what they are
  2. how they were formed (early conditioning and people-pleasing), and
  3. how to start raising them consciously without slipping into burnout or perfectionism.

You’ll learn how to:

  • Spot your emotional triggers — those moments of frustration and resentment that signal it’s time to upgrade your standards.
  • Create minimum baselines that protect your energy when life feels chaotic, so you’re not constantly swinging between “all in” and “completely done.
  • Ask one powerful question that realigns you instantly: “What would my future self thank me for?”

This episode is your loving wake-up call — to stop settling for fine, to stop over-giving just to feel worthy, and to start holding yourself to a higher, more intentional standard.

Not a punishing one. A powerful one.

One that aligns with your values, honors your energy, and moves you closer to the life you actually want to live — not the one you keep surviving.

You’ve done the mindset work. You’ve journaled, read the books, and tried to “think positive”… yet the same patterns keep showing up. This episode dives into why that happens - and how true transformation comes from combining shadow work, deep work, and neuroplasticity.

You’ll discover how suppressed emotions and old beliefs quietly shape your choices, and how to finally rewire them for lasting confidence and calm. If you’re tired of overthinking, people-pleasing, or repeating the same emotional loops, this conversation will help you slow down, understand what’s really happening beneath the surface, and create the change that sticks.

Key takeaways:

  • The real difference between shadow work and deep work, and when you need each.
  • How to use neuroplasticity to “hardwire” new confidence and behaviour.
  • Why awareness + repetition = transformation.

Listen to reclaim your energy, your focus, and your authentic self.

If you’ve been feeling drained even when you’re getting enough rest - this episode will hit home. Rhiannon explores the real reason behind your exhaustion: not lack of sleep, but lack of inspiration. She shares how understanding what truly fuels your energy - connection, purpose, and authenticity - can completely change how you show up at work and in life. You’ll learn how to identify what energises you, what quietly depletes you, and how to rebuild your spark by living and leading with honesty and courage.

You’ve been running all year.. deadlines, demands, expectations. But what if the key to finishing strong isn’t doing more, it’s slowing down?

This episode is your permission slip to pause, reflect, and reset. You’ll hear how to clear emotional and mental clutter, close open loops, and realign with what truly matters, so you enter 2026 calm, clear, and in control.

Instead of collapsing into the holidays burned out, imagine finishing with energy and purpose. This is about building momentum through reflection, not exhaustion. You’ll use real strategies for how to wrap up your year intentionally, restore your dopamine and focus, and create the space to dream again, because burnout kills creativity, and you deserve more than just survival mode.

You know those goals you say you want — the business idea, the promotion, the healthier lifestyle — but somehow the spark fades and you’re left wondering if it’s really worth it?

If you’ve ever thought, “I know what I want, but I just don’t believe I can actually have it,” this episode is for you. Rhiannon unpacks the real reason motivation fades. It's not because you’re lazy or uncommitted, but because your belief in your ability to achieve what you want wavers when life gets hard.

In this episode, you’ll learn a simple but powerful framework that reveals what’s truly standing between you and your next level: capacity (your time), capability (your skills), energy (your motivation), and cost (what you’re willing to trade to get there). When you understand these four pillars, belief stops being a fluffy concept. It becomes something you can build.

Key Takeaways:

  • Belief is built by aligning what you want with how you spend your time, energy, and focus.
  • When motivation drops, check your belief - not your worth.
  • You’re not behind; you’re just learning to trust yourself again.

Listen in and start believing, for real, that you can have the life you keep picturing ✨

Feeling stretched too thin, saying “yes” when you want to say “no,” and ending up resentful? This episode will hit home. Rhiannon shares how the pressure of a chaotic week taught her the value of choosing which battles are truly worth fighting. You’ll learn the powerful RASCI framework - normally used in project management - but applied here to life and work so you can stop carrying responsibilities that aren’t yours.

Key takeaways:

  • Know your role: Ask, “Am I really responsible for this... or just being pulled in?”
  • Protect your energy: Just because you can help doesn’t mean you should.
  • Set boundaries with confidence: Saying no can actually earn respect when done with clarity.
  • Recognise resentment as a red flag: It’s a signal you’ve overstepped your own limits.

This episode is your guide to reclaiming time, energy, and authority at work... without guilt.

You know those moments when you replay what you said or did, spiralling into “I should’ve handled that better”?

In this episode, Rhiannon gets real about those not-so-proud moments, the harsh self-talk that follows, and why chasing perfection is exhausting.

You’ll discover how to catch the voice in your head - whether it’s yours, a parent’s, or an old teacher’s - and start shifting it from the “stick” (criticism, shame, pressure) to the “carrot” (encouragement, compassion, support).

This isn’t about letting yourself off the hook. It’s about building discipline through kindness, not punishment. You’ll hear how self-care isn’t avoidance but choosing what truly fuels you long-term, and how softening your inner voice can actually make you more effective at work and more at peace with yourself.

  • Notice whose voice is behind your self-talk: yours, or someone else’s... and challenge it.
  • Replace the “stick” (criticism) with the “carrot” (encouragement) to stay disciplined without self-punishment.
  • Redefine self-care: it’s not avoidance, it’s choosing what fuels your long-term goals.
  • Shift from beating yourself up to backing yourself - compassion drives confidence and results.

If you’re tired of beating yourself up and ready to back yourself instead, this episode will shift the way you speak to the most important person - you.

Do you ever catch yourself wondering how others see you? You finally show up as your authentic self, but then question - did I come across as uninterested? Did I look bored? Or was I just too much? That constant second-guessing can leave you shrinking back instead of stepping forward.

This episode of Do I Need a Life Coach? flips that story.

What you see as “too much” or “not enough” might actually be your unique edge... the very thing that makes you memorable and valuable. The key isn’t to hide it, but to understand it, shape it, and use it to move your career and confidence forward.

In this episode:

  1. Spot what comes effortlessly. These natural traits are usually where your brilliance lies.
  2. Gather outside perspective. Others often see your strengths more clearly than you do.
  3. Channel your energy wisely. When you focus on what fuels you, your uniqueness becomes your advantage.

Become more energetically aligned and authentic while leveraging it to progress.

You know those moments when your emotions take over at work, and later you regret how you reacted? In this episode, you’ll learn the powerful skill of mental compartmentalisation - how to pause, process, and respond without sabotaging yourself.

Here are your key takeaways:

  1. Compartmentalisation vs. Suppression – Learn the difference between setting emotions aside to respond calmly... and burying them, which only leads to burnout and stress.
  2. The CALM Framework – Create space, Acknowledge (don’t attach), Look from the balcony, and Move with intention. Your step-by-step method for staying composed under pressure.
  3. Stop Self-Sabotage – When you can shift from reacting → reflecting → responding, you protect your reputation, your health, and your confidence.

If you’ve been second-guessing yourself or letting emotions run the show, this episode shows you how to step into control, without losing your authenticity.

Do you ever find yourself biting your tongue in meetings, second-guessing your choices, or holding back from saying what you really want to say because you’re afraid of the fallout? In this episode, we’re unpacking what bravery really means and how it shows up in everyday moments, not just big, dramatic acts.

You’ll discover how fear doesn’t disappear when you’re brave... it comes with you. You’ll learn how tiny, consistent acts of courage build real confidence. And most importantly, you’ll see how to shift from staying quiet and stuck to becoming the kind of person who says: “Yes, I did.”

3 Key Takeaways:

  1. Bravery isn’t the absence of fear, it’s moving forward with fear.
  2. Confidence doesn’t come first, it’s the reward you get after being brave.
  3. Small, everyday acts of courage are what build the strength to handle the big, high-stakes moments.

You know that moment when you’ve tolerated too much for too long, and then one small thing makes you snap? That’s not weakness. That’s data. In this episode, I’ll show you how to turn anger, frustration, resentment, and even insecurity into power moves that change how people treat you.

Here’s what you’ll take away:

  1. Decode your emotions: what your negative emotions really mean and how labelling them gives you the clarity to use them for progress.
  2. Name it, frame it, use it: Stop letting negative feelings run you. Channel them into micro-actions that shift the dynamic.
  3. Flip emotion into influence: Redirect heat into advocacy, authority, or strategic pushback.
  4. Break the rumination cycle: Act before feelings erode your confidence.

This isn’t about being aggressive, it’s about reclaiming your space, your voice, and your authority.

Ever walked out of a meeting thinking, “Did I say too much… or not enough?”
Or found yourself shutting down the moment someone questions you... even though you know you’re right?

You’re not broken. You’re stuck in a loop of second-guessing that no one taught you how to break.

In this episode, we unpack why people stop listening (and how to win them back, without shrinking yourself). You'll learn how to speak with clarity, earn respect without overexplaining, and finally get heard, even in rooms that usually steamroll you.

We go deeper too: into the 4 levels of coaching, where most advice only scratches the surface. Real change happens when you challenge the story running in the background.

You’ll hear how a single “what if…” can spark influence, how banter can build (or break) trust, and why divergent thinking makes you magnetic.

You’ve got more power than you think. Let’s find it.

You're juggling a thousand things, and let’s be real... it’s a lot. But here’s the truth: pressure doesn’t mean you’re failing. It means you’re growing. In this episode, we unpack how to recognise pressure as the spark that pushes you forward, not the weight that breaks you.

You’ll learn how to tell the difference between healthy pressure and burnout, manage the noisy self-talk that shows up when the heat is on, and build rituals that help you perform under pressure without losing your mind (or your sleep).

Key Takeaways:

  • Pressure reveals who you are. Self-talk shows you what to shift
  • You don’t need balance. You need strategy
  • Micro-steps done consistently beat heroic burnout every time

You don’t have to be perfect. You just have to keep showing up. Let’s talk about how to do that with purpose, not panic.

You’re capable, smart, and ambitious... so why does it still feel like you’re stuck?

You’ve thought about making a move, setting that boundary, or finally going for what you want but something keeps stopping you.

In this episode, we uncover the real blockers: fear disguised as logic, invisible expectations, and the quiet burnout that comes from always showing up for others but never truly for yourself.

You don’t need more pressure. You need a strategy that actually supports you.

Key takeaways:

  • Overwhelm isn’t a sign you’re failing, it’s a sign you’re ready for something different
  • Time isn’t the issue, it’s what (and who) you keep prioritising
  • You don’t need a perfect plan, just a clear next step, rooted in what matters to you

What if your purpose isn’t something you find - but something you uncover? In this episode, we explore what it really means to live with purpose: beyond roles, responsibilities and the pressure to perform.

If you've been feeling stuck, overworked, or questioning whether all your effort is actually getting you anywhere, this is for you. I’ll share insights from thought leaders, personal reflections, and the three key areas to help you start uncovering your purpose today: your values, your energy, and your intuition.

I discuss:

  • Purpose isn't a lightning bolt moment, it's revealed through patterns.
  • You’re not stuck; you’re just too busy to hear yourself.
  • The roles you play might be blinding you to who you really are.
  • You are more than what you produce, your value goes deeper.
  • Follow what feels right, not just what looks good.

This isn’t about a total life overhaul, it’s about getting present, slowing down, and starting to live like your life matters. Because it does.

You’re responsible. You’re capable. But lately, something’s been missing - and you can’t quite put your finger on it. You keep wondering, “Is this all there is?” or “Why does it feel like I’m going through the motions?”

In Episode 149, Rhiannon explores that quiet disconnection - the sense that even though everything looks “fine” on the outside and you can see the silver lining, you feel distant from yourself and who you want to be.

We’ll uncover why it’s been so easy to lose touch with what you truly want - especially when you’ve spent so long doing what’s expected. You’ll learn how to begin listening inward again, without guilt, fear, or the need to have it all figured out.

This isn’t about making drastic changes. It’s about creating space to hear your own voice again, and beginning to trust it. Because the clarity you’ve been searching for doesn’t live out there - it’s been with you the whole time.

If you’ve been feeling a little lost, a little tired, or just quietly craving more… this episode is for you.

You’re not stuck - you’re speaking stuck. Today, we’re going to unpack the sneaky ways your language is sabotaging your progress, and how to take back full ownership of your results, your emotions, and your next big move.

If you’ve ever found yourself saying “I have to…”, “I’m too busy…”, or “It’s just the way it is,” this episode was made for you.

You’re not broken, but your language might be holding you back - and you don’t even realise it. In this unapologetically honest episode, you'll uncover how the words you choose shape your beliefs, behaviours, and ultimately, your reality. It's time to stop outsourcing your power. You're the author of your life, and that means owning your communication - especially with yourself.

You’ve been trying to do it all. Hustling for validation. Silently managing your emotions. Believing if you just worked harder, sacrificed more, or stayed quiet long enough, it would pay off. In this episode, you’ll finally understand why that cycle leaves you exhausted - and how to interrupt it.

You’ll hear why success without emotional self-awareness is like building a mansion on quicksand. If you’re feeling unseen, overwhelmed, or like you’re constantly adjusting yourself for others, this conversation is for you.

You’ll learn the truth about emotional literacy - and why it’s the missing skill no one taught you. The episode breaks down how managing your emotions (not controlling or ignoring them) actually leads to more power, not less. You'll discover how your childhood patterns are shaping your leadership style and how to rewrite them. Because yes, you can lead with strength and softness.

The key takeaway? Emotional fluency isn’t weakness - it’s your greatest asset. And if you want to stop being the “safe” choice and start being the powerful one, it starts here.

You don’t need to be louder. You need to be clearer - with yourself first.

Listen to this. Your next level of leadership depends on it.

Feedback isn’t an attack - it’s an opportunity for growth. If you've ever hesitated before giving or receiving feedback, this episode will change your perspective.

When handled right, it strengthens confidence, deepens relationships, and keeps your integrity intact. Most people botch this - either they sugarcoat it, making it useless, or they come in too hot, destroying rapport. The key? Be honest, but not brutal. Soften, but don’t sugarcoat.

Here’s how to do it like a pro:

  1. Know the Science – When we get feedback, our brain triggers a fight-flight-or-freeze response. Recognise it, expect it, and don’t let it derail the conversation.
  2. Ask First, Tell Later – Instead of assuming, ask: “How do you think you did?” This builds self-awareness and gives you leverage.
  3. Break and Rebuild Rapport – Tough feedback naturally creates distance. Your job as a leader? Close the gap before they leave the room.
  4. Future Pace – Feedback is about the past. Growth happens in the future. End the conversation with clear next steps.

If you master this, you’ll become the kind of leader people respect - and the kind of professional who rises fast.

Leadership Isn’t About the Company - It’s About Who You Work For

Have you ever felt unfulfilled at work, even in a great company? It’s not always about the culture or the mission - it’s about the leader you work for. In this episode, you’ll discover why leadership isn’t just about strategy but about being a great human with emotional intelligence, consistency, and self-awareness.

3 Key Insights You’ll Take Away:

  1. Know Your Values to Know Your Leader – If you don’t understand your own values, how can you recognise a leader who aligns with them? Revisit Episode 71 to uncover your core values—this will transform how you see leadership.
  2. Leaders Who Care Create Engaged Teams – The best leaders don’t just see you as a resource; they take a genuine interest in your life. When you feel valued, you’re more engaged, productive, and willing to go the extra mile.
  3. Humility and Perspective Are Essential – True leadership requires stepping back, uplifting others, and making decisions for the greater good. Leaders who lack humility create disengaged teams, while those who lead with empathy build loyalty and trust.

You want to command a room, not by being the loudest, but by owning your presence. It starts with grounding yourself - feet firmly planted like you're on train tracks, body squared, posture strong. When you do this, you exude confidence, authority, and clarity. People listen, not just to what you say but how you carry yourself.

Your voice follows suit. A steady stance creates a steady breath, which creates a steady voice. Ever noticed how some people speak and everyone pays attention? It’s not just their words; it's their presence. A CEO who stands like a lighthouse in a storm commands respect, while someone fidgeting and uncertain loses the room.

Your energy matters. Confidence isn’t just in your words - it’s in how much space you take up. Step into a meeting and own your spot at the table. Speak with certainty. Cut the filler words. Let silence work for you instead of nervously filling the gaps.

And presence isn’t just for boardrooms. It’s in how you lead, how you engage with your team, and how you show up in every conversation. You are worthy of space - so take it.

We cover four ways to harness strong presence:

  1. Grounded Energy: Stability & Strength
  2. Expansive Energy: Commanding Space
  3. Focused Energy: Intentional and Present
  4. Assertive Energy: Speaking with Impact

Presence is power. Will you step into yours?

You’ve likely fallen into the nice girl trap - biting your tongue, downplaying your ideas, and keeping the peace at your own expense. But what if being liked isn’t the goal? What if being respected, heard, and valued is what truly matters?

In this episode, you’ll learn how to step into your power without fear of backlash. Assertiveness isn’t aggression - it’s effective communication. You don’t need to over explain, soften your words, or apologise for having a strong opinion. The key is to be clear, direct, and strategic, without letting emotions take over.

Key Takeaways:

  1. Being Nice vs. Being Kind vs. Being Assertive – Being nice is often fake and passive; being kind is honest and rooted in integrity; being assertive is clear, direct, and necessary for leadership. Choose assertiveness.
  2. Reframe Assertiveness as Effective Communication – Clarity is kindness. Use “and” instead of “but,” state facts without over-apologising, and set firm boundaries.
  3. Let Them React - That’s Their Problem – Others may be uncomfortable with your confidence. Let them. Focus on communicating effectively, not managing their emotions.

This episode is your push to stop playing small - don’t skip it.

How to Influence Without Authority

Feeling overlooked because you don’t have the “right” title? You don’t need authority to influence—you just need strategy. This episode dives into how you can create impact, be heard, and elevate your career without waiting for a promotion.

Key Takeaways:

  1. Know Your Strengths: Understand what you’re truly great at. Tools like Gallup Strengths Finder can offer clarity, but real insight comes from feedback—ask trusted colleagues or mentors.
  2. Shift from Tasks to Outcomes: It’s not about what you do, but the results you deliver. Instead of saying, “I took meeting minutes,” say, “I supported project managers to reduce turnaround time, which helped complete projects ahead of schedule.”
  3. Master the Power of Feedback: Don’t fear it—embrace it. Honest feedback is the fastest route to growth.
  4. Empathy Mapping: Use a simple framework—Think, Feel, Say, Do—to make better decisions, communicate effectively, and lead from where you are.
  5. Speak Factually, Not Boastfully: Share your contributions with clarity and confidence. It’s not bragging—it’s owning your value.

Listen to unlock the tools you need to influence, lead, and progress—without the title.

This episode dives into confidence—how to regain it, grow it, and overcome the imposter syndrome holding you back. If you’re feeling stuck, stagnant, or hesitant to step outside your comfort zone, this is for you.

Confidence isn’t something you’re born with; it’s a skill you build. Much like working out strengthens muscles, small, consistent steps expand your comfort zone and reshape your mindset. Rhiannon explains how imposter syndrome—a common hurdle for ambitious women—can trap you in a cycle of self-doubt. But here’s the game-changer: confidence comes from courage, not certainty. You won’t feel confident until after you’ve done the hard thing.

Key takeaways? Focus on progress, not perfection. Build confidence through repetition and celebrate each win. Recognise your role in your success, and stop externalising it as “luck.” Understand that fear and discomfort are normal signs of growth. Shift your perspective by expanding your comfort zone incrementally—no giant leaps required.

Rhiannon shares personal stories, relatable metaphors, and actionable tools to help you turn self-doubt into empowerment. Tune in and rediscover your power to step up, level up, and own your success.

Let’s talk about unlocking your potential, whether it’s in your career or business. Life is seasonal, much like the stunning landscapes of Tasmania. Summer brings energy and reflection, while other seasons invite growth, rest, and preparation. Use this rhythm to evaluate where you are now and where you want to be.

Imagine doing a Growth Gap Analysis: assess your current skills, mindset, and experience (Point A), then envision your ideal role or business success (Point B). The gap between A and B holds the key to your growth. Dive into a SWOT analysis: identify your strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats. This clarity lets you plan effectively for the future.

Key takeaways:

  1. Audit Yourself and Your Role: Are you contributing enough value to justify growth or higher pay? If not, outline what’s missing.
  2. Leverage Networks: Seek mentors who’ve achieved your goals. Learn by doing—shadow them, ask questions, and absorb their wisdom.
  3. Strategic Development: Focus on gaining hands-on experience. Theory is valuable, but real-life problem-solving builds confidence and gravitas.

Take charge of your career like never before. Break through stagnation and make progress.

You’re constantly on the go, juggling work, family, and life, but have you paused to check in with yourself lately? When was the last time you carved out space just for you—time to recharge, reflect, and reconnect with who you are beyond the roles you play? Burnout doesn’t hit suddenly, it sneaks up with signs like constant fatigue, apathy, and a craving for quick fixes like sugary snacks or endless distractions. Recognising these patterns is key to regaining your energy.

Recharging isn’t just about sleep (though that’s vital). It’s about tending to all areas of your energy—emotional, mental, physical, and even spiritual. What fuels you? Maybe it’s completing tasks, having meaningful conversations, or soaking in the buzz of a vibrant atmosphere. Knowing this helps you plan your week intentionally, balancing work, family, and restorative activities.

Try this: time-block your week. Map out work, errands, self-care, and downtime in 30-minute slots. Schedule moments to nourish all energy types—whether it’s a workout, a coffee date, or a quiet walk. When you plan like this, you create space to truly detach and relax, recharge, and avoid the burnout spiral. Small, deliberate adjustments can transform your energy, your week, and your life.

Starting the new year, you may feel the pull to assert yourself more confidently in work or life. Whether you're navigating tough workplace dynamics or simply want to show up stronger, there are steps you can take to reclaim your power and make 2025 your year. Here's how:

  1. Master Your Voice: Your tone and inflection impact how others perceive you. Ending statements with upward inflections (making them sound like questions) can undermine your authority. Practice using downward inflections to convey confidence and authority in your statements. Record yourself and listen for patterns to improve.
  2. Command Attention Strategically: Space, phrasing, and tone are key to assertive communication. Pause intentionally to let your words resonate and strategically use humor or lightness to keep discussions balanced. Start with a lighter tone to allow room for escalation if necessary.
  3. Own Your Experience: Speaking from personal experience (e.g., “I felt…” or “I noticed…”) makes your perspective harder to dispute. It’s a powerful way to command respect, particularly when addressing pushback or challenging conversations.

Start small, practice consistently, and watch as your confidence grows. Assertiveness is a skill—one you can master with practice and intention. Let’s make 2025 your most empowered year yet!

  1. Visualise Your Dream Future: Imagine a garden representing your future, where each goal is a fruit waiting to be picked. Visualising what you want helps clarify your desires and deepen your emotional connection to them.

We dive into how to master influential conversations while staying true to yourself. If you’ve ever felt unheard in meetings or struggled to sway someone toward your perspective, this one’s for you. We’ll explore how to stay calm under pressure, use subtle techniques to build trust, and position your ideas in ways that truly resonate.

  1. Emotional Control Unlocks Influence:
Staying composed and open in discussions is essential. Defensiveness or frustration blocks your ability to connect. Instead, approach conversations with curiosity and motivation, even if emotions run high.
  2. Build Rapport with Subtle Mirroring:
Matching someone’s body language and speaking style helps create unconscious alignment. This might seem minor, but small adjustments—like mirroring posture or using similar phrasing—foster trust and connection effortlessly.
  3. Tailor Your Language to the Listener’s Perspective:
Whether someone is visual, auditory, or tactile in how they process information, use language that resonates with their style. For example, use phrases like “see what I mean” for visual thinkers or “that sounds right” for auditory individuals.

Influence is a skill—one you can refine for work, relationships, and beyond!

In this episode, we explore the difference between internal and external motivation and how it can shape your actions and goals. But what does this have to do with communication? Everything.

Understanding whether you are internally or externally motivated directly influences how you communicate with yourself and others. If you rely on external motivation, you may seek validation or approval, which can shape how you present your thoughts or ideas. On the other hand, if you're internally driven, you may focus on sharing your beliefs and values more confidently.

Improving your communication means knowing yourself—your motivations, needs, and triggers—so you can engage more effectively with those around you. By aligning your communication style with your motivational drivers, you not only express yourself more clearly but also create deeper connections and understanding.

Key Takeaways:
1. Motivation impacts how you communicate and interact with others.

Here in Tassie, as we approach the winter solstice, the days get shorter, but paradoxically, the coldest days are yet to come. It's a challenging time, with many of us feeling more tired and less energetic. But, rather than being hard on ourselves, it's crucial to approach these feelings with curiosity and self-compassion.

In my earlier years, I would push myself aggressively through these low periods, but it never helped. Through life coaching, I’ve learned to be gentler, asking myself what’s really going on and accepting that it’s okay to feel less energetic sometimes. This shift from a taskmaster mentality to a nurturing approach has made a significant difference.

Today, I want to talk about “Failing Forward.” Failure is often seen as a setback, but it’s actually a crucial part of achieving any significant goal. Reflecting on my past experiences, especially in musical theatre, I realized that the fear of failure taught in our education system can be debilitating. However, true growth comes from embracing failure, learning from it, and continuing to move forward.

Remember, if you’re not failing, you may not challenging yourself enough. Set big goals, expect setbacks, and use them as stepping stones to success. Normalise failure, understand your emotional triggers, and develop strategies to cope and thrive. Your resilience and ability to bounce back are what will ultimately lead you to your goals.

Understanding and managing emotions is crucial for personal and professional growth. Different emotions such as frustration, annoyance, irritation, and anger occupy distinct places in our bodies. Recognising where these emotions manifest helps in processing and understanding them better.

Emotional awareness enhances your ability to control your state and manage reactions. This skill is vital in leadership, business, politics, and personal relationships, enabling you to remain calm and influence others effectively.

For instance, defining your emotions as you experience them can aid in identifying emotions, their triggers, and how they affect your behaviour. This practice builds emotional intelligence, allowing you to read others' emotions and respond appropriately.

By labelling emotions and understanding their impact, you can strategically manage your state to stay productive and focused. Small, daily adjustments in your emotional responses can lead to significant long-term improvements in achieving your goals and maintaining a positive outlook.

Remember, managing your emotions is about making micro changes that align with your goals and how you want to be perceived. This approach not only helps in achieving success but also in living a more fulfilling and balanced life.

Hey there! A client recently asked me if self-reflecting and analyzing the past is beneficial. It’s a great question, and the answer isn’t straightforward. In coaching, we focus on looking forward with hope and the belief that you have the power to change. Reflecting on the past can sometimes lead to dwelling on it, but it’s also useful for processing trauma and understanding behaviours.

Effective coaching is all about setting goals, planning, and staying focused. Self-reflection is key when celebrating achievements because it helps build confidence and momentum. However, too much reflection without a clear purpose can hold you back, creating a comfort zone that stifles growth. That’s why I recommend journaling. It’s a powerful way to process your thoughts and feelings and gain an external perspective.

If you find yourself stuck in the past, journaling can help you release those thoughts and refocus on your goals. Documenting your journey provides clarity and motivation to move forward.

Take a moment to reflect on your current goals and how you plan to stay on track. Remember, contemplating your next steps is already a sign of progress. Stay focused, keep pushing forward, and write down three things you want to focus on after journaling to maintain your momentum.

Give it a try, and I’ll see you next week!

A surprise trip to Melbourne orchestrated by my partner for my birthday reignited a sense of youthful exuberance and passion for life that had been dormant within me for a while. As we revisited the city where we once roamed freely, exploring its vibrant streets, I couldn't help but reflect on the person I've become compared to who I once was. This journey of self-discovery, fuelled by curiosity, has been exhilarating.

In Melbourne, I rediscovered my love for observing the world around me, striking a balance between introversion and extroversion. People-watching became a cherished pastime, offering glimpses into the lives and emotions of others. This fascination extends to my interactions with clients as a coach, where I aim to listen, observe, and understand without imposing my own biases.

A pivotal lesson I've learned is the importance of timing in communication, both personally and professionally. Recognising when to speak up and when to remain silent requires emotional intelligence and intuition. While some may perceive my occasional reticence as contradictory, I trust my instincts to guide me towards the most effective approach.

In the corporate world, hierarchical structures often hinder genuine connection and understanding. Taking a moment to truly see and assess the emotional state of others before engaging in conversation can foster a more productive and empathetic environment.

Ultimately, speaking up is not always about asserting oneself; it's about choosing the right moment for dialogue and action. Sometimes, silence speaks volumes, signalling a deeper understanding of the complexities of human interaction and emotional dynamics.

Life coaching is a profoundly caring profession, driven by a genuine desire to uplift and support others. Coaches often find themselves deeply invested in their clients' well-being and success, fostering rapport effortlessly. However, this altruistic dedication can lead to two distinct paths.

Some coaches thrive initially, building successful practices, only to become jaded over time, losing sight of their initial passion. This shift underscores the importance of choosing a niche aligned with one's strengths and energy flow. It's crucial to understand the type of clients who invigorate rather than drain, ensuring sustained fulfilment in the coaching journey.

Alternatively, some coaches prioritise others' needs to the point of neglecting their own well-being. Empathy can turn into emotional burden, hindering their ability to function optimally. While coach training provides tools for self-care, unexpected and emotionally taxing client experiences can still take a toll. Coaches must remain vigilant in managing their emotional states to prevent burnout and maintain effectiveness.

This discussion extends beyond coaching, resonating with anyone who prioritises others' needs over their own. Recognising the importance of self-care, individuals are encouraged to identify desired feelings and actionable steps toward achieving them. By investing in their emotional well-being, individuals cultivate resilience, ensuring they can continue to contribute positively to others' lives while honouring their own.

In response to Amanda's question about gracefully handling passive-aggressive comments in the workplace, it's essential to recognise the power of emotional resilience. When faced with insults or undermining remarks, one's emotional state becomes paramount. If you're solid in your confidence and content with your abilities and direction in life, insults lose their sting. Remember, you can only be insulted if you allow it.

Being prepared with a few strategic responses can help disarm such situations without escalating tension. It's crucial to strike a balance between assertiveness and professionalism, refraining from aggression while standing your ground firmly.

In navigating workplace dynamics, emotional intelligence and foresight are invaluable assets. By preparing for various scenarios and maintaining clarity of purpose, you position yourself for success while preserving your integrity. Practice, anticipate, and respond strategically to achieve the best possible outcome in challenging situations.

Hey there! Have you ever stopped to think about how we spend our time? My friend recommended a book called "4000 Weeks: Time Management for Mortals" by Oliver Burkeman. It's all about making the most of our limited time on this earth.

Burkeman challenges the usual productivity advice and encourages us to focus on what truly matters. He talks about setting boundaries, saying no to things that aren't important, and finding balance between work and downtime.

I've struggled with this myself, especially as a high achiever who's always on the go. But as I've gotten older, I've realised the importance of prioritising what's meaningful to me.

So let's take a step back and appreciate the time we have. Whether it's pursuing our goals or simply enjoying the present moment, let's make the most of every hour in our 168-hour week.

In a recent leadership seminar, four speakers shared insights on leadership essentials. They explored the complexity of leadership, emphasising its challenges and the need for authenticity. Despite the theoretical discussions, practical strategies were scarce.

One speaker stood out, highlighting the importance of collective leadership. She outlined five key steps: prioritising the voices of people, working across boundaries, adapting to change, aligning systems with goals, and embracing acts of courage. These steps provide a roadmap for effective leadership, focusing on collaboration, adaptability, and empathy.

However, other speakers lacked practical guidance, focusing more on theoretical concepts. While social identity and appreciating diverse viewpoints are crucial, tangible strategies for leading difficult conversations were missing.

Reflecting on personal experiences, like navigating uncertain social situations, underscores the importance of self-coaching and positive outlooks in leadership. In Episode 89 of the "Do I Need a Life Coach?" podcast, Rhiannon Bush dives deep into the concept of transitioning from "child mode" to "parent mode" when facing challenges and pursuing goals. Drawing from personal experiences and client interactions, Rhiannon emphasises the importance of recognising when we're stuck in a state of fear and vulnerability, akin to a vulnerable child.

She explains that during difficult times, such as after a breakup or job loss, it's natural to feel fragile and hesitant, seeking comfort and support. However, Rhiannon encourages listeners to transition into "parent mode," where they assertively take control of their lives and pursue their goals despite fear and discomfort. This shift involves acknowledging the fear and discomfort but choosing to move forward with determination and assertiveness.

Rhiannon shares insights into the energy dynamics of these different modes, highlighting how staying in a state of fear and vulnerability can lead to stagnation and a lack of progress. Conversely, stepping into "parent mode" energises individuals, propelling them forward with momentum and determination.

She discusses the importance of making a plan and plotting a path forward, as well as recognising and breaking free from patterns of behaviour that keep us stuck. Rhiannon emphasises that while progress may not happen immediately, embracing a mindset of assertiveness and determination sets the stage for positive momentum and growth.

Throughout the episode, Rhiannon infuses her trademark conversational style and relatable anecdotes, creating a supportive and empowering atmosphere for listeners. She encourages individuals to embrace their power to shape their lives, reminding them that the universe responds to their energy and determination.

We explore the powerful idea that "Hurt People Hurt People." Drawing from personal experiences and reflections on her younger self, Rhiannon delves into the common tendency to perceive life's challenges as happening to us rather than for us. She reflects on the victim mentality and negative self-talk that often accompanies adversity, emphasising that everyone, to some degree, grapples with fear, self-doubt, and negativity.

Rhiannon shares insights gained from coaching clients dealing with various life challenges, highlighting a common pattern of thought that individuals go through when healing from past events and trauma. She discusses the stages of processing trauma she's witnessed with her clients, moving from hurt to anger, and eventually reaching a point of forgiveness and reconciliation. She underlines the importance of asking ourselves the question "What's the lesson here? What's the gift here?" to shift the perspective from being a victim to a learner.

Other topics discussed include:

  • The impact of negative self-talk and how it can be extinguished by reframing the narrative and practicing empathy.
  • Contentment with ourselves and standing in our worthiness, and choosing to live a life surrounded by those who treat us well are essential for health, happiness and growth.
  • Healing from past hurt allows us to break free from a cycle of negativity and victimhood, empowering us to live a life aligned with our values and surrounded by positive influences.

Today we delve into the concept of the 'I Care Zone,' a space where you're not unhappy enough to change but not happy enough to give your all. We explore the dangers of lingering in this grey area and highlight the importance of recognising personal triggers when it's time for a change.

Rhiannon introduces Tony Robbins' six core needs that drive behaviour, emphasising how these needs influence our decisions and actions. Who do you aspire to be? Do you want to be skinnier? Do you want to be wealthier or healthier? Do you want to be classier? Do you want to be more successful?

We all want things. And we all have a perception of ourselves as our most perfect self. Our most idealised self. And not often does that idealise itself align with who we are right now, today.

And that's OK.

Because it's more important to understand why you want those things, and to understand the reasons you want those things, and from there create a multi-channel strategy to achieve it. Because willpower alone won't work.

Leadership. A tough gig. So what makes a good leader? There is so much research available by Brené Brown, Simon Sinek, Dan Pink but until reading a book by Dan Airely, I didn't understand the social and market contracts that govern our society and how leadership today must encompass both. And it’s often at the cross-section of these two where leaders get it wrong.

Social contracts, while vulnerable and fragile, are more fulfilling and meet our core needs as human beings. But when underpinned by a market contract, the market contract must prevail.

While coaching and leadership are two individual skill sets, a leader who is not a coach is only as half effective as they can be. Coaching helps empower and support others in a way an effective leader needs to for maximum impact and success.

You’ll learn:

  • What the difference is between a market and a social contract
  • Why empathy is important as a leader
  • How coaching tools help you empower your team
  • Why the ‘swinging d*cks’ in a market contract unfortunately prevail

In times of frustration or annoyance with those around us, it's often because our values are being questioned and our boundaries are pushed. When we don't know how to hold our boundaries without creating significant rifts or drama, we feel frustration or annoyance. Power dynamics shift when you undergo personal growth and development because the relationships surrounding you right now meet certain needs you have, for both you and them. As you start to grow, your needs start to shift and that can often destabilise relationships you have.

That's not necessarily something to fear, but it is something to manage and understand. When within a relationship the power pendulum doesn’t swing evenly between the two parties, it can be draining, un-motivating and disempowering.

Learn how to listen to your inner voice and to what you want, while working to maintain those relationships if you want to, and also learn when to let them go.

In this episode you’ll learn:

  • How to consider what connecting with others looks like
  • How your self-awareness will help you maintain your power in relationships
  • Why strategically knowing or choosing your values will determine the health of your relationships

I was fortunate in my mid 20s to spend time in England, and despite being what I thought was a very similar country to Australia - both historically due to the invasion and culturally - I couldn't have anticipated what lay before me and what left me enriched with experiences and changed perspectives due to our differences.

This episode is dedicated to my love of England and the English people and to the five key lessons I learned by living there for two years.

  1. Stoicism
  2. Emotional Fortitude
  3. Nobody Cares
  4. Respect
  5. Class and Hierarchy

Every single one of us have the choice to feel happier on a daily basis. This is not about feeling happier 100% of the time or experiencing a big shift. This is about choosing to make little and seemingly mundane things we do more enjoyable by shifting our perspective or actively finding ways to have more fun every day.

We're always chasing a feeling. And growing our awareness of what feeling it is that we are chasing, will help us to understand and justify our actions and also behave more purposefully than just coasting, unaware, throughout our day… and consequently our lives.
Next line in this episode you'll learn:

  • The role dopamine plays and why the different ways dopamine spikes is important for our overall wellbeing
  • Why identifying what we're feeling in a given moment can be challenging and takes practice
  • Questions to ask yourself to see whether you're ready to have more fun, and where you can bring more play into your day

Would you believe me if I told you that everything you believe isn't true? Would you fear the thought? Or would you be empowered by the thought?

One of the best things about working with a certified coach is that the beliefs you have that guide you through your life are challenged. Every coaching client experiences the Big Shift. It’s the moment when you decide a belief you’ve had for a long time is no longer true for you, and this change in belief sets you free. Often the beliefs that we hold, guiding our behaviours and our emotions, are beliefs we've been ingrained with since we were children. They no longer serve us in adulthood and things stop working as we want them to. They're beliefs we've never stopped to question to make they serve us and to make a conscious choice as to whether we want to believe that, or not.

Your empowerment comes from your next decision. And when you're clear on the beliefs you have that do or don't serve you, you can make decisions faster and take action to get to where you want to be. The necessity of working with a coach, is that you can bring these beliefs to light faster and have support as you question them, interpret them and choose to discard them to move forward. Your coach will be there with you every step of the way as you discover what beliefs you want to have, and how those beliefs determine who you want to be.

A recent experience with loss allowed me to feel immense discomfort that I couldn't run from. Feelings of vulnerability and sadness that made me feel sick to my stomach. We've all experienced loss. And most of us feel discomfort of some kind on a daily basis. It comes in various degrees, but it's there.

We can choose to numb those feelings. There are many ways to do that, but when it comes to loss or grief, the options are limited, because no amount of skirting around the discomfort will keep it at bay for long. At some point, we will have to sit in the discomfort, allow it to be there and process it somehow.

There are no lessons in this episode. Just a girl, telling you her story with the hope that it reminds you you’re not alone.

The pain of staying the same has to be greater than the pain of change. Where are you experiencing pain right now? How much focus is that pain taking out of your each and every day? Expanding our comfort zones is the road to personal growth. And by withstanding discomfort and persisting anyway we learn things about ourselves and discover things within ourselves that we didn't know were available to us. When we remain in our comfort zone we become unaware of our possibilities and our ability to achieve our dreams.

Expanding our comfort zone can look very different depending on the pain we're experiencing. When did you last expand your comfort zone? What can you be doing differently to be moving forward and not be living a life dictated by fear or discomfort that often arises from staying in your comfort zone for too long?

You'll discover:

  • The neuroscience behind expanding our comfort zone and why change is hard
  • Why finding an emotion that gives us fire can get us moving in the right direction
  • Why most of us think it’s just ‘life’ and don't recognise subdued discomfort as a comfort zone / growth opportunity

The stories we tell ourselves have a monumental impact on the results we get in our lives. Whether that's financial, relationships, happyness, or other ways you may personally define success, the story you tell yourself matters. Because the story we tell ourselves affects us on a subconscious and an emotional level which is what we omit to the world, and in turn what we get back.

The accuracy of the story is of secondary importance than how that story makes us feel. In this episode we discussed emotional bandwidth, emotional intelligence, and the steps to understand the intricacies in the different emotions you experience and what story you have around them. From there we can begin to rework the stories we tell ourselves to free us up emotionally and get better results.

The concept of emotional maturity has been increasingly relevant in my life, particularly as a mother raising two young children. Balancing the demands of parenting has highlighted moments when my inner child surfaces in response to my children's behaviour. Transitioning to a leadership role in business, the topic of emotional maturity takes a different form. As a leader, projecting professionalism often requires suppressing my emotional responses and maintaining a composed demeanor.  Embracing emotional maturity requires mindfulness, allowing us to respond thoughtfully instead of impulsively, thereby harnessing the strength of emotions for positive outcomes. Emotional maturity is a vital skill for navigating the complexities of relationships we experience in all areas of our lives.

"Whether you think you can, or think you can't, you're right." - Henry Ford.  We don't know what we don't know. And what we think having or achieving will give us at the outset, can ultimately lead to us feeling disappointed. On the flip side, the things in life we're forced to fight for, are the things worth having. But how do we know?

Navigating the road to goal attainment is a personal and tricky road. When we can’t see around that next corner but that’s where we’re travelling at full speed, what can appear may surprise and derail us (and often does!).  How we deal with the emotional highs and lows as we undertake our quest for what we want is so strongly linked to our ‘why'. Our purpose.  Therefore knowing our purpose and the impact we expect from having the 'thing' is the reason we fight. And more often than not, that impact is self-fulfilment, a deeper connection with ourselves, or with others.  Nothing more.

We all experience fight or flight, some more dramatically than others depending on our working environment, our upbringing, and our existing patterns of behaviour we have programmed from experience to survive. Our physiological response comes from our interpretation of the environment around us, especially through our eyesight. Being able to regulate that interpretation, to regulate the physiological response we have, is what will enable us to be more balanced, healthier, happier and to avoid chronic stress and burnout.

The impact coaching is so significantly larger than just one person. Often, the presenting problems a client brings to a coach when wanting to work with them is the tip of the iceberg.  Coaching not only helps with the presenting problem (first and foremost), but is a holistically uplifting experience for somebody to experience. When that person experiences coaching, many others are impacted in the process, creating win-win outcomes for the client, the coach, and those around them.

“I want what they've got.” “Why haven't I got what I want yet?” .. and so it goes, right?! We've all been there.

It takes time to develop an 'attitude of gratitude' when you've been living your life comparing yourself to others. Instead of repeating that old story, and keeping on doing that thing, it takes practice to remind yourself of all the things that you do have. But guaranteed, if you look closely enough, you will find a lot of things you’re surrounded by to be grateful for.

When we strive to achieve things we want, there's a difference between wanting more productively that will work long-term, versus desperately pining for more. The emotion fuelling our actions, driving us to achieve, may be a temporary, quick-burst to achieve something superficial, or it may be a long, slow-burn that enables us to stay in it for the long haul, and reach our destination while truly enjoying the path we take to get there along the way.

How do people perceive you? Do people see what you want them to see? Or is it more likely that they see you exactly as you are?

Having enough self-awareness to understand what others see and then bridge the gap between who you are and how they actually see you is an incredible skill to have. It's also a great skill to have if you’re looking to manipulate the way others perceive you, or to be strategic and influential.

When you can come from a place of being truly aligned with who you are and how you present to the world, I believe there is serious power. It's fulfilling, it's uplifting, and it's true. Passion. Meaningful. Fulfilling.

Big words we apply to life, work, love… Big words with big meanings. High stakes. But the feelings we have – the passion, feelings of meaning, feelings of fulfilment do or don’t happen day-to-day. When we experience coaching, we start to consider life on a much longer trajectory and how the day-to-day impacts the years and the decades and life.

You'll begin to address on a far deeper level your identity, how you think about yourself, the person who you are now, and the person you see yourself as, and whether there's a difference. If there is a difference, what is it? Is that a gap you want to fill, or do you not know how you see yourself? Has it been done by design, or has it been done by default?

There is a very good reason our brains do this and if you're someone who leaves situations frequently thinking "I wish I'd said.." or "I should've..." then this episode will give you the information you need to recognise what's going on in your brain, and the strategies you can implement to manage it in the moment and respond accordingly (i.e. in a way where the event is finished in the moment, and you're not left with residual after-thoughts).

Staying true to you is both challenging and rewarding. Holding strong and making decisions from a place of abundance is not often our natural inclination and affects areas of our entires lives - our bosses, our relationships, and other smaller things that may seem to lack in significance but amount to tiny erosions of the ways we honour (or dishonour) ourselves.

We discuss the ways staying true to us is so important and empowering, and how our decision-making strength increases when we start to test and measure our environment by speaking up, testing the way others perceive us and instead, honour what's true for ourselves.

Your words and actions. Are they aligned? Do they match? Do you do what you say you'll do? Goal achievement requires emotional growth and development, it requires us to be something new, something different, something better. Otherwise we would already have achieved what we want to achieve. We discuss the importance of taking action, lessons from our future-self, and why setting a goal is often more fun than taking the required action to achieve it.

Wanting everything immediately can sometimes serve and sometimes hinder. When it comes to setting goals, we explore what impact impatience can have in cutting ourselves short of ultimately achieving what we want and taking unnecessary shortcuts that hold us back. By structuring our year differently and in a way we're all too familiar with if we attended conventional schooling during the early years of our lives, we can give ourselves the space within 12 months to come up for air and recalibrate as we go.

We do this by:

  • Marking out school holidays through the year (or other times we choose)
  • Changing our routine (during those "holidays")
  • Set targets for each term to stay focused
  • Consider the perspective we're viewing our goals and targets from
  • Have patience

Rhiannon will guide you through a self-coaching session called the Wheel of Life. This tool is used by life coaches, often early in their coach-client relationship, to help their clients calibrate a holistic overview of their current lives by deep-diving into 8 specific areas.

The Wheel of Life can be tailored specifically to the coaching niche you're looking for, or the language can be changed to suit personalised requirements. The eight areas we're going to review are:

  • Business and Career
  • Finance
  • Health
  • Relationships
  • Romance
  • Personal Growth
  • Fun / Recreation
  • Physical Environment

When we can see the make-up of our lives by sections, we can work out where we would like to focus more energy for improvement. Grab a beverage of your choice, download the worksheet (rhiannonbush.com/18) and let's get coaching!

Inspired by the book Atomic Habits by James Clear and an eventful daycare drop-off, in this episode we discuss in detail these 5 steps to implement into your existing routine to make a change, give it some pizazz and simply feel better than you currently are:

  1. Document your current routine
  2. Really discover what lights your soul on fire
  3. Locate when your “feel-awesome-in-an-instant” can come into your routine
  4. Choose a Trigger to help you make the change
  5. Test it and calibrate

Long-term change require small, manageable steps. And if nothing changes, nothing changes.

Have you ever felt blindsided? Like things keep happening that you just couldn't anticipate, or that shock you, leaving you feeling like you've been on an emotional rollercoaster you never signed up for?

When we're on the receiving end of another's actions or decisions, we have limited control over the context, timing and delivery of the information coming at us. This means there are many unknown variables we can't anticipate. When in this predicament,  considering we don't have 'mindreader' on our resumes it can be blindsiding. Episode 13 gives you strategies for taking more control over the situation to help you keep your cool in the toughest of situations, and also teaches you as the giver of precarious information, how to handle those conversations with integrity, compassion and kindness.

We begin discussing the process of hiring a coach how to find one, how to vet, and what prompts your need to hire a life coach. Then we go into what you can expect from your initial conversation or contact with a coach, the possible outcomes from that initial session including pricing and payment conversations, and the terms and conditions of a coach-client relationship.

This episode will give you an idea of what to expect and what may be asked of you.

"What goal? Oh that thing... that thing I really want, but didn't achieve in 12 months so I gave up on it?" Yes... That. Ever wonder why we set goals we fail to achieve? Or why we're highly focused at the time we set the goal, but soon after we become disengaged. Why is that?

There are many reasons and variables that influence our ability and desire to achieve a goal. Episode 10 discusses some of those reasons but focuses more on ways to stay engaged, as it's far more often that we disengage from achieving what we want once it becomes hard, or we lose belief in our ability to do the things that need to get done to achieve our goal. It's most likely that your desire for what you want doesn't change, only your belief in your ability to achieve it - whether it be wealth, health or love.

What does your Facebook news feed say about you? Your Facebook feed is curated 100% to you, your interests and what you choose to focus on. What we focus on makes us feel things. Some good feels, some bad feels and those feels determine our actions.

As humans, we aren't naturally good at pinpointing things we've done well, celebrating our wins or acknowledging our achievements. It takes work. It takes practice and brain training. This brain training enables us to enhance our ability to be more intrinsically motivated, to feel better every day and make better decisions to move us forward in both a pre-determined and heart-centred direction.

This episode has been inspired by the following:

  • I've had people joke about life coaching being a cult and initially, I was very resistant to the thought until I experienced it in a specific context and could appreciate why they'd said it (and that they weren't joking)
  • After watching documentaries on NXIVM
  • Indoctrination and placing safety at the heart of coaching for the client, when working with tools like hypnotherapy and trance
  • Guiding my clients and prospective clients on trusting themselves (and me) enough to work with them and not, as their coach, having my own agenda for them

In this episode, we discuss the way we see the world, the way others see the world, and how we can muster our inner strength to speak up in the face of being shut down.

When you step into something new and that may challenge you beyond what you've been challenged by in the past, some of us feel a lack of confidence, a bit of anxiousness, concern or as it's now commonly known, Imposter Syndrome. Feeling like we don't belong, like we're not good enough, and like we're about to be shown the door before we've even had a chance to begin is something movie stars, sporting heroes and everyday people have reported experiencing.

In this episode, we'll unpack imposter syndrome, where it comes from and most importantly, steps to overcome it. Some changes are minuscule while others will require practice and commitment. A positive aspect of imposter syndrome is that when we experience it, it means we're expanding our comfort zone and we're growing. We're levelling up. This puts us on track to achieve bigger and better things for ourselves, provided we can learn to manage feeling like we're incapable or incompetent.
