Your only as good as your physical health allows. A lot of times… we have chronic fatigue, low energy, brain fog as a result of busy & stressful lives. Exercise is often neglected as a form of self care because we are “too tired.” But what we must realize is that exercise & how you exercise can greatly impact your energy, mood & ability to perform as a veterinary care worker. It’s a self care skill we must master to love into our potential.
Well-being is a product of mental health & physical health. However, we can’t overlook how finances affect our every day lives as veterinary care workers. Money can be a taboo topic, but unless we get our financial house in order, we can’t ultimately pursue the “less stressed” state that we all desire.
Did you know over 6 million Americans have generalized anxiety disorder? In this episode, I speak from first hand experience with living with generalized anxiety. For me, it is worse in the morning & tends to improve throughout the day. There are some personal habits & tools that can help you cope with anxiety and these are discussed here. By no means is this an all inclusive list and every persons journey will be an individual journey.
