Hi Community! In this weeks episode, I am going to the deep end with how I have been repairing my previously fractured relationship with both men and sex. Hi Community!

In this weeks episode we're talking overconsumption! Of goods and even ideas.Living in this day and age of social media can be a little tricky; especially if you don't consume it with intention. You can easily fall into the trap of buying everything you see on your FYP or agreeing with even the most senseless arguments or stances on various topics. As someone who advocates for holistic wellness, I really wanted to peel back the various layers on this one and even share how recklessly consuming social media coupled with trying to fill an emotional void got me into some serious debt.

Hi Community! In this weeks episode we're talking atoning for our past mistakes, in essence? Taking responsibility and actively making an effort to ask those we have hurt for forgiveness. As someone who has grown really close to God over the last (what is coming) to a year and in the process how I understand taking responsibility for my past actions has completely changed. I now understand and value the importance of needing and wanting Gods forgiveness but also actively making an effort to ask for forgiveness from those who I hurt or offended.Join me as I speak on my own personal experiences and how important it is to not let the old bridges burn because of pride or ego or even shame.

Hi Community!

Welcome to the living at home diaries! A three part "series" where myself and some guests unpack the topic from various perspectives.

As someone who still lives at home in my late 20's I know how much pressure there is to "get it together" and go out into the world and find my own way. But the truth is there is so much more to this topic and the discussions we have cannot be one dimensional.

Please share your thoughts and enjoy!

Hi Community!

In this weeks episode we're getting real about whether the life you are living is the life you want to be living. Are you truly living for you?

It is so easy to get caught up in who the world and even your loved ones are saying you should be. It's also really easy to forget who you want to be and what you want for yourself but most importantly who God says you are.

In the midst of the pressures of society and social media, who are you? Who would you like to be? Are you happy? Are you at peace? Are you content? What is it that you actually want for yourself?

Hi Community!

In this weeks episode we're talking about learning to love yourself better. I used to think that it was absolutely cheesy whenever I would hear someone say: "in order to love others better, you need to love yourself better."

But man oh man if my 20's have taught me anything (amongst many things) is that it is the absolute truth.

Properly pouring into ourselves gives us an opportunity to pour into others, and I love how taking good care of myself and loving myself has shaped me into a completely different person.

Hi Community!

In this week's episode, we're getting into asserting boundaries (and why you need to have them in the first place). This time of the year is especially important to have boundaries and assert them because fun is in the air, money can easily be spent on things you cannot afford or do not need and people including family and friends are going to need to understand that you have limits. On money, your time, and your well-being.

During this festive season and walking into 2024, please make sure to have boundaries, assert them, and when necessary re-assert them. Be mindful of yourself and your needs and make sure that you're getting the rest you need to be refreshed for the new year.

Merry Christmas, enjoy the new year festivies. See you in 2024!!!

Hi Community!

In this weeks episode we’re

talking being content and grateful.

It’s wonderful and a good thing to be a go getter with big dreams. But it’s just as important to stop, look around and be grateful for what you have. Just as important as it is to be content with what you have. Being content and grateful does not mean complacency or slowing down. It just means you can acknowledge how fortunate you are whilst working towards the more you desire.

So,today just take a moment to look around your physical surroundings and your life in general. And find at least one thing to be grateful for.

Hi Community!

In this weeks episode we're being honest with ourselves and acknowledging the part we've played in the demise of relationships previously shared with others. And embrace that some relationships are seasonal, which is perfectly okay.

Being honest and reflective allows for an opportunity to identify certain patterns and the traumas they are rooted in and then work on them. A failure to acknowledge the part you have played in a relationship reaching a certain state and then ending will have you repeating the same mistakes in new relationships. Which is not something we want at all.

So be committed to working on yourself so that who you expose others to is a version of you that is intentional and is always looking to do better.

Hi Community!

Welcome to season 4!!!

In this weeks episode we’re talking embracing the small beginnings and allowing things to happen as they should. The beginning of anything won’t be big and on a large scale. It is usually slow, filled with mistakes and sometimes even lots of comparison. But what if you just embraced where you’re at? What if you were accepting of this specific place that God has put you in and instead of asking Him to help you find a ā€œway outā€. You ask Him to show you what you need to be doing more of and what exactly it is He is trying to equip you with.

Often if not always, all we need to be doing is immerse ourselves in the process. Immerse ourselves and the mess and mistakes.

Hi Community!

The world is always moving really fast and encourages us to do the same. Whether it be through social media,or television shows, movies,or even just through conversations;there is more value on getting to the finish line faster. Or being the first to achieved a certain before everyone else.

But what is the rush? Where are we all going that requires us to be in a hurry?

Sometimes (a lot of the time) we need to just slow down. To just give ourselves a chance to breath. Just not feel the need to be in a constant rush.

Join me in this weeks episode as we talk about the importance of not feeding into the rush. Just taking things slow and savouring each beautiful moment we are blessed enough to experience.

Hi Community!

Do you have a criteria for choosing the kinds of people you choose to build relationships with? And by this I do not mean a good fashion sense, beautiful skin, having money, access or power. Being well spoken. I mean having good values, good character traits, being principled and being able to communicate well. As well as having strong boundaries.

In this weeks episode we get into the impact that the keep one chooses to have will have on them. I share my thoughts and views on why being selective with who you choose to surround yourself with is so important. And I remind you to open your heart to cultivating healthy and fulfilling community!

Hi Community!

You know that ability you have? That one thing or those few things you are really good at? That thing or those things that not everyone can do like you can? I call it/them a gift/s. According to my faith and belief, those are things generously given by God and according to me, they are meant to be used to do good. To serve.

You know those things you have easy access to on a daily basis? Your bed, the food that you have to eat, your car, the education you are receiving, the money you have in your bank account, and the time you have to spend with your loved ones they too are gifts but I like to refer to them as blessings.

Both of the above-mentioned are not easily accessible and are easy to take for granted.

In this week's episode, I prompt you to ask yourself if you are handling your gifts and blessings with care? Are you taking the best care of them? Or are you not being as mindful of them as you should be?

Hi Community!

Imagine choosing good things for yourself every single day? You make a commitment to only choose things that will be good for you in the short term and the long term. You don’t step outside of that no matter what happens and you anchor yourself in your values and in wanting good things for yourself. In that desire to do right by you.In that desire to reap plenty of good fruit.

In this weeks episode I encourage everyone (especially my fellow late twentiers knocking on thirties door) to make good choices because there isn’t anytime to waste making bad ones.

Hi Community!

Being intentional about what you do,why you do it and how you do it is so important in achieving a peaceful and fulfilling life. Without intention it is so easy to end up being comfortable and complacent. It’s easy to just say without actually doing anything.Ā

Living intentionally has a lot to do with taking action. Things like knowing who you are and working towards constantly improving your relationship with yourself. Knowing your values.Knowing the path you are tying to follow. Creating the vision and following through on it.It has to do with really peeling back the layers even in the face of the unknown and taking full responsibility for who you choose to continue being.

I have found that my life is requiring more from me. More intention and more being actively present in my relationship with myself. More peeling back the layers even if it feels and is uncomfortable.Ā In this weeks episode I speak on the change and shift I have experienced, what it has looked like, the significance of it particularly at this point in my life and the various positive outcomes I am already seeing.Ā

Hi Community!

Uncertainty is all around us, never more so than today. Whether it concerns a global pandemic, the economy, or your finances, health, and relationships, much of what lies ahead in life remains uncertain. As human beings, we crave security. We want to feel safe and have a sense of control over our lives and well-being.

We're all different in how much uncertainty we can tolerate in life. Some people seem to enjoy taking risks and living unpredictable lives, while others find the randomness of life deeply distressing. But all of us have a limit. If you feel overwhelmed by uncertainty and worry, it's important to know that you're not alone; many of us are in the same boat.Ā

In this weeks episode we talk about dealing with uncertainty and finding sustainable and helpful ways to deal with it.Ā

I hope this episodes is valuable and finds those who need it most!

Community!

In this weeks episode we’re getting into, why running away from dealing with your problems just isn’t a sustainable approach to living.

Together with how much stress and anxiety it causes, living a full and fulfilling life becomes almost impossible because of instead of learning to deal with your issues, and really working through them you’re always trying to avoid them. Avoidance is only a temporary measure that is more likely going to cause you to run around in the same circle;dealing with the same problems.

Please join me as we speak through what avoiding and running away from problems can look like, the downside of it and how to practically and sustainably overcome the desire to constantly escape.

Hi Community!

There is so much beauty and love in being kind and supportive to your loved ones. However it is not good nor is it healthy to try and change them to suit your more likeableĀ Ā idea of them.

In this weeks episode we delve into why we can often end up wanting to ā€œfixā€ people, what that can look like and the very negative implications of that.Ā

It is so unfair to treat people like they are projects or like they are broken. It is also unfair to you to burden yourself with wanting to ā€œfixā€ or change a person into what you believe they can be.

Trying to change a person can and will most likely result in one person resenting the other.Ā

If a person or people do not align with who you are and the values you hold;release them. If it is potential that you are drawn to when it comes to people, then you need to reflect on that decision.

You truly cannot change a person and you shouldn’t want to.Ā

Hi Community.

A lot is always happening...within us as individuals, in our communities, workplaces, in the world and some of these things can be the reason why we struggle to feel motivated or to even feel hopeful. Or why we struggle to see that it is just a season that will eventually come to an end. Sometimes it is even hard to find any motivation or see the light at the end of the tunnel. In those moments the one thing we can do for ourselves is to just be kind...just be kind to yourself. Show your self that extra love, be compassionate towards yourself. Be extra patient with yourself and remember that it comes to an end eventually and things do get better, even if it is a little bit at a time.

Hi Community!

Have you ever noticed how much easier it is to make a decision when you trust yourself and are confident that you are doing what is best in a situation? How much easier it is to navigate life when you are your biggest cheerleader?

In this weeks episode we get into building trust with yourself and what that can look like.

Building a relationship that is filled with trust with yourself is the biggest and best investment you can make because it will affect the quality of your life and just your overall well-being. When you trust yourself being decisive will be easier, making good decisions will be easier and just feeling confident enough to be yourself and fully show-up as yourself will be so much easier.

Building anything takes time so treat building trust with yourself as a journey not a destination you need to reach. Overtime? The good results will show themselves in your daily life.

Hi Community!

Being young and driven is so important.Having dreams and hopes for your future is truly valuable but it should not come at the cost of you living out the other parts of your life.

There is more to life than money (I am not disputing or denying its importance) and attaining certain titles. To truly live a full life you need to be committed to working through your anger, pain and disappointments. You need to take good care of your mental health, your physical health and your spiritual health. You need to open your mind and heart always.

So let’s constantly put our best feet forward to improving not only one part of our lives but all of them. With the same intention and the same passion.

Hi Community!

In this weeks episode we're learning to see the value in accepting. Accepting lifes challenges. Accepting that life isn't moving at the pace we had hoped. Accepting that, that financial stability that seemed close is actually quiet far and accepting that even in the midst of the hardships there is still hope and an opportunity to live a healthy and fulfilling life.

Acceptance is no easy task because how can I possibly find peace in an unfulfilled dream or the reality that achieving my goals might take a little longer than I thought? Well as I always say it's always about perspective and looking at the bigger picture. Knowing that my "breakthrough" is on its way, perhaps not as I had imagined but just as it should be. Tailored for me and me alone and in the meantime, prioritizing living a peace filled and fulfilling life with what I have and with were I am.

Hi Community! In this weeks episode we are talking about the importance of taking accountability for yourself and allowing others to hold you accountable too. Choosing to take accountability when the opportunity presents itself will often mean putting your pride aside. Fighting the urge to be defensive and seeing the value in being able to stand-up and take ownership of your words and actions and the effect that they had.Being able to take accountability and responsibility for yourself contributes to the quality of your relationship you have with yourself and others, your character, how reliable you are, your holistic well-being and it even contributes to you achieving your goals. How would you describe the relationship that you have with accountability and taking responsibility for your actions?

Hi Community! In this weeks episode we’re getting deep into what honouring yourself in your decision making can look like. To live a fulfilling and balanced life we need to be honest with ourselves and honour ourselves in how we choose to live. Sometimes you will have to release things and people that no longer fit into your life.Sometimes you will have to give up certain habits and sometimes you are just going to have to accept that putting yourself first will possibly mean walking a journey alone. Being intentional about creating a healthy life for yourself won’t be easy, but it will most definitely be worth it!

Hi Community!Question. Do you think you are creating space in your life for people to pour into you positively and for you to do the same for yourself? Ponder on it...This weeks episode is all about creating space in your life for others to add the best that they can to you and for you to be able to do the same for you. By intentionally making space in your life you are inviting so many opportunities for others to add to you in so many valuable ways and you are making room to be able to do that for yourself too. Releasing everything that needs to go is making space. Not holding onto the past is making space.Inviting goodness into your life is making space. Forgiving yourself...is making space.I hope you enjoy this one and thank you so much for joining and supporting me throughout season 2. See you in Season 3šŸ’•

Hi CommunitySometimes life can really be difficult and unfair. The obstacles can feel endless and overwhelming. It can be so difficult to look around and see goodness when all you are experiencing is one challenge after the other. This is why it is so important to get into the habit and mindset of teaching yourself to be able to acknowledge and appreciate the goodness that surrounds you. Even during challenges. This weeks episode is all about learning to understand that even in lifes challenges and unpredictability, there will always be something to be grateful for. That there will always be goodness amid the turbulence and that it is important to express that gratitude. Hi Community!Sometimes we won’t be in the same mental and emotional space as our loved ones. While you might be feeling happy and at peace, a loved one could be battling many internal difficulties. Or they could just be on a different path, pursuing different things. That is stretching their time, as well as their emotional and mental state. Sometimes it will be possible to be there for them and sometimes it won't and when you can’t you need to be okay with excusing yourself. In this weeks episode we get into meeting people where they are with an open mind and a lot of love and if you are not able to do so; excuse yourself. It’s okay to not have the capacity to be there for a loved one. It’s normal for some relationships to end because there is a disconnect but it isn’t okay to hold onto a relationship or connection that has reached its end.We need to learn to let go when that is required and to do it with love. Just as we need to do our best to be present and supportive when we are required to show up for a loved one and pour into the relationship we have with them.I hope you enjoy this one!

Hi Community!Have you ever felt like you need to live a certain way or choose certain things because that's what other people want? I most definitely have and my goodness am I happy that chapter is closed. Making decisions concerning your life will always require a certain independence, solid character, good self-confidence, and good self-esteem. These are all going to aid in you standing your ground firmly and taking charge in your life by understanding that the decisions you make are yours to make and should not predominantly be influenced by other peoples wants, needs, and goals. It’s your life and your choices, as much as getting good advice is important you are responsible for making the final decisions. So embrace that and allow yourself to grow in your independence in general as well as when it specifically comes to making good and healthy decisions for yourself.Enjoy! Please follow A Cup Full on Instagram: https://instagram.com/a_cupfull?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=Share your thoughts via email:acupfulll@gmail.com

Hi Community! It's so easy to be consumed by everyone else's idea of what a soft life looks like and that only leaves room to be swayed by the wants of others instead of your own. Understanding what it is you like and dislike is fundamental in shaping your own needs and wants. When you know who you are and embrace that with an open mind and heart, it will be a lot easier to figure out the expectations you have of yourself and then work towards making that a reality. But when you do not know what you want, it is so easy to "move with the wind" and mimic the things that others do.This weeks episode is meant to serve as an important reminder that you are in charge of defining what a good life looks like for you and to do that you must know what you want, be confident about it, and stay committed to working towards it. Most importantly you must be comfortable with being who you are, no matter what that looks like. You won't always be everyones cup of tea and that is not important. What matters is that you know who you are and what you want with the utmost certainty.Enjoy!Follow A Cup Full on Instagram:Send any thoughts about this episode to:acupfulll@gmail.com

Hi Community!I know how easy it is to look at other peoples lives and feel like there is everything wrong with mine. How easy it is to feel like nothing is happening for me just because my peers have everything I have always thought I will at this age. I have found myself in the pits of envy and feeling like everyone else is my competition. That’s what ends up happening when you look at other peoples lives for too long, without any appreciation for your reality and the blessings that you have. When you look at other people and think that you should have what they have too. But what about your journey? What about focusing on your own life and pouring into it?It is great to be inspired by others but when you start becoming envious your heart and mind begin to shift from working with intention, to working within the realms of competition and the desire to get ahead. You disregard your journey and process and easily become willing to do ā€œwhatever it takesā€ to have what others have and more. Please don’t allow what other people lives look like to be the reason why you abandon your journey. Where jumping ship is the better option than working hard to make your grass just as green as you perceive others to be. Hi Community!

In this weeks epsiode we're talking about choosing the people, places and things that are good for us and taking good care of them.

Life is not meant to be lived or enjoyed alone, nor is it meant to be boring and exhausting.Which is why choosing good things for ourselves is so important.Making a good life for yourself is important and a big part of what a good life is made up of is the choices we make.

This week I challenge you to ask yourself if the things, people and places that you have in your life are good for you and if the answer is yes ask yourself how you are appreciating and taking good care of those things. If the answer is no,ask yourself how you are going to correct this.

I hope everyone enjoys this episode!

There isn't a time limit when it comes to anything in life. You don't have to have achieved certain things at a specific age, eventhough that's what society and social media might try and convince us of.Our life paths are not the same, which means things just won't look the same for all of us,so you don't have to rush to "make things happen" for yourself. They will happen at the time that they must without you having to act out of chracter or go down paths that are not meant for you.

Hi community? Have you ever felt like life has a personal vendetta against you? Yeah…SAME.

Life can get really hard sometimes, right to the point where it feels like you are reaching one dead end after the other. No matter how hard you try…absolutely nothing is working out. Hi community! This weeks episode gets right into being picky with what you consume online and how that will ultimately be a contributing factor towards your overall well-being. Social media is easily available and has many uses. If anything it should be enjoyable and inspirational. You should never feel any pressure to be anyone who you aren’t but that can happen and what you need to know to do is not expose yourself to it. Don’t engage in or expose yourself to anything that isn’t good for you. Don’t fall into the trap of hopping onto trends and feeling completely out of balance at the end of it all. Take care of your well-being! This episode encourages blocking and finding a new page or person whose content will be enjoyable to indulge in!Enjoy!

Hi community!

We’re right at the beginning of the second quarter of 2022 ,which means there is plenty of opportunity to reflect on quarter one and decide what needs to go and what needs to stay. What was fulfilling and what was draining and what really needs improvement and what has improved.

This weeks episode is all about looking back at the last 6 months and deciding how you would like to move forward in the next six months. Whether you feel like you’ve accomplished none of what you wanted to or whether you have done it all, reflecting will still be beneficial!

Remember that if you didn’t do it in the first six months you can still try again in the last six months!

Hi community! This weeks episode focuses on the importance of saying no. Keeping your yeses safe will often mean saying no to the things you don’t feel comfortable doing or being a part of. Which is also a form of creating boundaries and taking care of your well-being! This is important not only for self-preservation but so that when you need to show up you are capable of doing so. You don’t feel depleted or disconnected from yourself because you are staying true to who you are. So this week? Taking the time to carefully choose what you say yes to. Ask yourself if it is something you are genuinely capable and willing to do. If not then that’s a no and you shouldn’t force it to be otherwise.
