This episode is a great analysis of my personal opinion as we beat the Pittsburgh Steelers as we are now 2-2 on the season as the Colts have done the unmatchable and beat them without Anthony Richardson and with a backup QB to boot. Here are my thoughts and opinions on this game of the fourth game of the season.

This episode is quick as the Indianapolis Colts lost to the Green Bay Packers to start the season 0-2 and fourth place in the AFC South to start their 2024 campaign. It was a disappointing loss against a Green Bay Packers squad without their star quarterback to start for the team. Arie5endyk (or Anthony Richardson, this is a nickname) had a decent day today with one touchdown to Alec Pierce in the fourth quarter, and a Matt Gay field goal was all she wrote.
The Colts lost today 16-10 at Lambeau Field.

A man from Bloomington is changing the perception of a 5Kmarathon. Seth Jones, AKA The 5K Guy, is using the 5K run not just for thephysical feat, but as a platform to promote love, faith, health, and activityin a unique and inspiring way. Born in Springfield, Missouri, Jones moved toBloomington, Indiana, where his father was a traveling pastor. Despite facingchallenges during his school years and being a rebellious teen, Jones was aformer high school athlete. As a swimmer at Bloomington High School North, hefound a void in his life after leaving college. To fill this void, he started arevolutionary journey. Since May 2023, The 5K Guy has been sharing videos onhis growing Instagram page promoting physical fitness, mental health, diet, andspirit. These experiences have brought positive changes to his life.
Jones is currently residing in the country of Brazil wherehe found the love of his life and is living a life outside of America, where hesays many Americans like him fall in for bad habits thanks to corporations manypeople are living unhealthy lives.
Finally, Jones, also known as the "5K guy," thinksabout Bloomington sometimes but cannot wait to leave the city and start a newlife for himself and, one day, his family. His life goals are vast, such asstarting an online training course and receiving a TV contract, but he has amessage to send to those struggling: that one day they can succeed.

From producer, Braydyn Lents, this episode was recorded in May 2021 for a class project this is Part 1/2 of the fifth-year celebration as I will graduate from college this fall and I am celebrating this triumphant achievement with a sports podcast since business has been slow with "Keeping Things In The Middle". This podcast talks about the creation of "This is Indiana" which became a love affair for Hoosiers and IU alumni alike after one win versus Kentucky in 2011 and how both the artist and the song helped put the song to new heights. This podcast was supposed to air back at my VU days on Blazer 91.1 FM in Vincennes in 2021, but it never got onto the air.
This story will take you to places never seen or heard in the mainstream media when one mentions math and education. Even my little sister tells me about how bad her school is and I rolled my eyes before seeing what this journey was really about for students in the 21st Century in a post-pandemic world. We followed IU math tutor, Scott Salak, who mentors at-risk students on math and science equations for what will be 31 years at the helm this year at the downstairs part of the 21st Century Scholars office near the outskirts of the IU Bloomington campus. He is widely respected in a world where this field has been desolate and deflating with no hope or hopeful future ahead for his profession.
This story dives into how math has become American education's lost arch of greatness, the American math system. It also dives into human character as Salak performed in a bluegrass band before becoming a tutor, and his impact on students is musically a condition to succeed and do your best even in a topic you are not good at. This story instruments the arts of math and human interest and I was shocked after posting this article to my Substack and Medium blogs on winter break that more people should cover this story as it goes beyond the headlines and describes math in a poetic form.

From producer, Braydyn Lents, this episode was recorded in February this year as I interviewed Kevin Finch, a longtime media producer and broadcast professional who now teaches journalism at Washington & Lee College in Virginia. He once worked at WTHR, WISH-TV 8 in Indianapolis and WRTV Channel 6, Calamari Productions and a few indie productions here and there. He did work on several documentaries that have been aired on national stations such as National Geographic and Lockup on MSNBC where he is an Emmy-winning producer, director, and journalist who now is teaching youth to shoot for the stars just like he did throughout his storied career.
This was done through the Indiana Broadcast Historical Archives on the campus of Indiana University as many graduates are finding work, I hope this can help motivate you that everyone starts from the beginning to the end of their careers and have fun doing so.

From producer, Braydyn Lents, this episode is the second episode crime edition of our podcast on, "Keeping Things Up in the Middle" explores the case of Benjamin Smith, a racist young man who was causing trouble from a young age and was fascinated with a white supremacist movement that wanted to cause harm to anyone not white. His mania and obsession with the group led him to cause the first major horrific tri-shooting spree on the Fourth of July across Bloomington, Indiana & in the neighborhoods of Chicago on a two-night shooting spree in 1999.
From July 2-4 of 1999, a two-state shooting spree across Chicago and Bloomington, Indiana that took five lives away from us, helped implement changes made to state laws on racist crimes and how the courts should handle these types of racially motivated attacks. Benjamin Smith [to the far left] took the lives of Won-Joon Yoon [the Asian man on the left side next to the basketball team] & former Northwestern University men's basketball head coach, Ricky Byrdsong [to the right] who was shot by Smith, a radical racist out to k*ll as many Black, Jewish, and Asian people as possible, shot and killed Byrdsong IN FRONT OF HIS OWN CHILDREN before making pit stops at Springfield and Decatur, Illinois before making his last stop in Bloomington, Indiana, where he was once a student at IU and shot Won-Joon Yoon when he was attended a Korean church service that weekend. In the end, Smith pew-pewed himself and passed away in Illinois.

This shooting killed five and injured many others as the community has since healed 20 years later, but also forgot about the full details going into the case until my mom got a phone call from an anonymous source in 2016 describing Wessel's disturbed childhood that led up to the shooting spree.

The baseball team this year and last year were riding off of the best success in baseball for the first time in school history as one incident overshadowed the team's luck in the tournament but not their heart as many would expect.
This is not just a baseball story as the College World Series has been going on this week in Omaha, Nebraska, but this team deserved more credit, but was tarnished due to greed.

A few days later, I received a $500 scholarship from the schoolcorporation, which made us very happy. However, things took a turn when I startedattending Vincennes Junior College in Indiana for the 2020-21 academic yearamidst the COVID-19 pandemic. I discovered that special education was not whatI thought it was, and it was heavily promoted as education for the worst of theworst. Upon further investigation, I found out that the special educationprogram at the college was a major fraud, and it was all about greed ratherthan helping students.
It took four years and a lawsuit byNFL linebacker Michael Ohr against the Touhe family for me to realize that myhigh school dreams had crashed into a brick wall. Today's episode is a special one. On November 1, 2023, Robert Montgomery Knight passed away at the age of 83. Knight was the head coach for the Indiana Hoosiers from 1972 to his firing in 2000. He as we know won three national titles, was a 20-time Big Ten Champion, and won the 1984 Olympics with Team USA amongst his other notable accomplishments. He also coached at Army at West Point and at Texas Tech. This death has now changed the course of the college basketball season, and this special is about him.
At the end of this episode, I will share a family story from 1975 when my uncle got Knight's car out of the water in Alfordsville after a night drinking. All told and more on this special podcast.

In this New Year's Eve 2022 special, we go back recently to two years ago as one of the greatest college football teams in history, on December 28, 2019, the 2019-20 LSU (Louisiana State University of Baton Rouge, Louisiana) Tigers, led by quarterback Joe Burrow, wide receivers Justin Jefferson & Jamar Chase played against the #4 ranked Oklahoma Sooners (the University of Oklahoma in Norman, Oklahoma) led by quarterback Jalen Hurts. As the Tigers rolled to a blowout 63-28 victory over the Sooners, as the most amazing team in college football history ended up beating the Clemson Tigers in the college football national championship game in the SuperDome 16 days later.

Noah Jager, Anthony Leal, Conner Hickman, Joey Bomba, and James Bomba made BHSS Basketball, South basketball in Indiana's most dominant sporting schools in the state of Indiana. In the 2019-20 South Panthers basketball season, the team was expected to reach heights not seen since 2011 until the pandemic squashed the school year and their unknown 26-0 basketball season.

In July of 2019, a vicious stabbing occurred at a music camp (Jacobs Academy) at Indiana University's Jacob School of Music in Bloomington, Indiana. The victim was a then thirteen-year-old girl, who met a boy, Mikey Ko the previous year. She was almost raped and was stabbed multiple times in the thigh and stomach. As vicious the crime Mikey committed, no one sounded the alarm, until I came into the picture. I was a victim of bullying and insults from Mikey Ko, I was a victim of a middle school shoving the problems away to make me feel worse. I bullied myself in 2016 and committed suicide multiple times until March 20, 2017. Since 2017, I have been stable, got help, treatment, graduated from high school, and will be a sophomore at Vincennes and Indiana University. It took me a while to get into a stable discussion about this boy. This is four series about my experience with Mikey Ko from when I knew him in 2013 until his arrest in 2019, and what he did to bully me attempting to stab a girl.
In the final episode, we explore the warnings signs that led to Mikey's eventual collapse that I had witnessed before he attempted to murder a 13-year-old girl who we call Ms. Barringer. I talk about the day I met Mikey again and we tried to reshape our relationship at Bloomington High School South in Indiana. I discuss the last time I met him in May 2019 just months before he attempted his vicious plot.
