The Shadow Speaks

As the global awakening roars on, many people are embarking on spiritual journeys. Whether one meditates, does yoga or experiments with plant medicines like Ayhausca or DMT, they eventually come face to face with their shadow. Your shadow is like a container that holds all the parts of yourself that have been denied, repressed and forgotten and shadow work is the invitation to call these parts out of their hiding place and bring awareness to why they were hidden. The shadow speaks to us in a language that is unique to each of us through projections we impose onto others in an effort to establish a signal to direct you to what needs healing. I draw from concepts in my book, SHADOW WORK: A GUIDED JOURNAL FOR MEETING THE STRANGER WITHIN that I wrote after doing 10 years of in-depth shadow work in order to heal from trauma in my own life. I offer tips and strategies to help you identify how your shadow is operating in your life and a perspective that supports you in dialoguing with the parts of you that need healing. The shadow is illusive so I guide you in setting the stage to invite your shadow to show up and reveal the self-deception that has been controlling your life, keeping you in a perpetual loop with the same experiences happening over and over again, but with different players and different circumstances. I provide practical examples to help you reveal the subtler nature of the shadow before it leads to overwhelming conditions.
