We all have good ideas and dreams. But what do we do with them? Do we immediately throw them in the trash can assuming we could never do it? Or do we begin taking action steps toward them? On today's episode we hear how one writer took a bold leap of faith in order to get to where she is today. Yana Conner is an African American writer and speaker for Jude 3 Project and a number of other platforms. We welcome her to the show today.
We all have them, right? Those preconceived notions that pop into our heads. Those false narratives that run on repeat day and night. The lies we believe about ourselves. Yes, we all have them. My guest on todays show calls them "theys." It's those things that we allow to shape us and define us. It oftentimes hinders our growth and prevent us from being bold and stepping out in faith. Whether that's what we think people think about us or the lies we tell ourselves about us. Either way, we must identify those "theys" in our lives and overcome them. But how? Check out this story by Charles Curle, An African American Medical Physicist at Duke Radiation Oncology.
