What happened to the Builders Build podcast? Was there a falling out? A growing rift between the boys? A takeover coup by the interns?
It could have been any of those things, and you'll never know.
What you do know is Builders Build is back, without any expectations for the future, with another flaming hot podcast upload.
As one does after taking 4 months off, the gang regroups and recaps the last several months.
They cover:
Oren adventures to the Great White North- and the courage to be disliked as an entrepreneur.
This is a good one, guys. We cover everything from Oren's pilgrimage to visit Colin and his mew all the way to how much more successful you can be when you stop worrying about what people think of you. Everyone on the planet will die in 100 years, so stop worrying about what they think. You won't regret it.

We touch on:
It's too early to know but it seems as if the Builders Build boys are finding their groove in the chaos this podcast has become, and we'd like to salute you for making it this far.
In this pod, we decided to cross some lines and risk getting canceled it was only a matter of time, so enjoy the alpha before they deplatform us.

We are not having guests every episode.
We are not having guests every episode.
We are not having guests every episode.
This week on Builders Build the guys are back with not one but 2 guests. In this serendipitous first time meeting, old heads Oren, James and Colin are dubbed the cool uncles of Money Twitter by none other than Cardinal Mason and Ben Bader.
In this episode the gang and friends talk about:
The young bull's backgrounds
TikTok
Communities
Infoproduct funnels
Mason's citizenship
This pod may or may not be a return to a slightly more legible and higher quality podcast you recommend to friends and listen to week in and week out.

A rare and appropriately iconic man joined the boys on the pod today. I staple of the real life inner circle who lurks on the dark parts of the internet (Instagram) instead of where the rest of us hang out: Chad Lujan. Chad was Colin's best man, worked with him and Oren for years, and is now a bag boy (asst tour mgr) for REDACTED. Chad has been on more PJs this year than every dropshipping guru combined and he won't help you get ur boy's demo to any of his contacts.
We talk about:
The best man speech at Colin's wedding
Chad's guest set(s) w/ Waka Flocka
The best PJ's for lease (2022)
LTRMN's 2019 EBITDA
The most shocking revelation of this episode is that James never listened to Waka Flocka and that it's possible we wouldn't have been friends during those formative early years.
Forget a format, in this episode the boys hit record on an existential convo about their time spent on the podcast and the dark side of the Twitter algo.
This episode covers:
Ideas on a podcast pivot (or not)
Tweaking for short form content
One Sec (the app)
Twitter thread boys
Halloween adventures

Anyone who hangs out in the weird corner of the internet that we lovingly refer to as money Twitter. And if you go even deeper, you will find another corner of twitter, where people believe that dentistry…is a scam?
You may have heard the shocking news that BTS, the singing sensation out of South Korea that has been taking over the world slowly but surely, is taking time off to serve in the military. (Shout out to the OG mega celeb Elvis for being the one to pave the way here)
BTS, also known as the Bangtan Boys, is a South Korean boy band formed in 2010. The band's label and management company, Big Hit, announced Monday that BTS plans to come back together as a group "around 2025," after all seven members complete their service.
We all knew BTS was tough so this wasnt a surprise, but it left us full of questions:

Sadly, Colin’s long-lost uncle, Thadious Landforce, passed away. Little did Colin know, Thad (as his friends called him) was the founder and sole owner of a natural foods-based grocery store chain.
Luckily, young Colin Landforce as his sole heir, inherits the grocery store and recruits his 2 best friends, Oren and James, to help him expand internationally and build a sizeable fortune.
To be honest…none of this happened, BUT we did play out this scenario and see how the team would grow this type of business

We decided to discuss a new thread by the (almost long-forgotten) crypto influencer 6529.

It's 2022, and the venture capital industry has NOT had a good year. The money has dried up a bit, and it looks like being profitable is cool again. With that said, there are, without question, tons of businesses that would never have made it without the steady flow of capital from VC firms over the past decade.

On this episode of Builders Build the boys have a wide ranging discussion on Kraken Mode, personal brand, our own content initiatives and more. We cover:
For the love of god, go leave us a 5 star review, please!
Every episode we sit down with an outline of topics. On this episode, that outline did not include “Live action role play James’ dog frisbee site into a pet brand rollup and take it public with a reverse merger and find liquidity without crushing the stock, by using a single stock exchange fund through the good old boys and girls at Goldman Sachs”.
That was not in the outline, but we are moving and grooving into season 3 and we took that thing from inception all the way to the NYSE.
We are back.
We’re having fun and keeping alpha top tier for the global listenership.
Btw can y’all leave us some 5 star reviews?

Romans 12:2
Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.
We had a good run of guests here on the Builders Build pod. We’re thankful for all of them, but it’s time for them to kick rocks. Somewhere along the way what we were putting out became too similar to what anyone can do, and those are the things that aren’t worth doing. Plus: we weren’t having much fun.
On this return to an open format with the gang, James, Oren, and Colin get right into it defining new terminology, answering the common “wtf do you guys do for a living?”, and finally getting into what they’re each currently working on.
In a new recurring segment where the guys riff on projects they’re working on if they had the time, they dive into a productized accounting service concept and content remixing

All 3 of us have dabbled in selling on Amazon, but are far from experts. So when we wanted to learn more about the ins and outs of the platform, we tapped the one and only Lesley Hensell - co-founder and co-owner of Riverbend Consulting, where she oversees the firm’s client services team.
Shes been a seller on Amazon herself for over a decade personally has helped hundreds of third-party sellers with everything from selling their businesses, to getting their accounts and ASINs back up and running.
Crazily enough her clients range from small mom and pop brands, all the way to companies doing over $1 billion a year.

We heard ya loud and clear, you like the deep dives. So for this episode we did a follow up to Episode 2 of Builders Build, where we discussed buying a digital asset.
And don’t worry, Colin Landforce is back from his corporate life and back on the Builders Build team.
The plan was to break down growth levers AND to dive deep into monetization of these assets BUT THERE WAS SIMPLY TOO MUCH ALPHA.
(We only had time to dive into growth)
So check out Episode 5 of Builders Build where we dive into:
Growth Levers
And more….
Colin Landforce
James Camp
Oren Schauble
It's true, Landforce was TOO CORPORATE for this episode. He has been removed in post processing.
James and Oren hit quite a bit - starting with a full dose of LA lifestyle action. We're talking steaks, we're talking grocers, we're recommending you go to Maru.
After that it's success tips for nightclub promoting and general stories about being young and blessed in New York.
Somewhere in there we get serious cover a head to toe on ETFs including fund structure, basis points, white labelling ETFs and general SPY, VOO and ARKK talk.
If you've missed Tab Talk, we're here for you, if you've been loving Builders Build, we're also here for you this is equal opportunity alpha.

The answers to all these questions and more are just a click away.
So take a second, sit back, get your notepad and press play. You won't be disappointed.
Don’t forget to share the pod and subscribe!
In the first episode of the newly renamed Builders Build podcast, Landforce, James Camp and Oren Schauble dive into personal stacks-- the tools, software and processes that help us execute as modern entrepreneurs.

Get Ready for a deep dive into everything from the house of cards that is the airline points industry all the way to plant hoarding.
First up is Duuce, the marketplace for buying and selling newsletters online. Some are overvalued and some are a steal.
https://duuce.com/
New Zealand is banning Tobacco. They are raising the legal age every year until people born in 2008 can never smoke. Is it people's right to consume tobacco?

Solid Basics is a blanks company that provides blanks to your favorite streetwear brands, Colin discovered them through a niche tik toker.
https://solidbasics.co/?utm_source=coda&utm_medium=iframely
Plants are sick...and people are hoarding them? Oren brings a tab nobody saw coming. The underground world of plant hoarding is blowing up all over tik tok. And people are going into debt to buy them...

Many airline points programs EXCEED the value of the actual airline. Operating flights have become a loss leader for their points program. Believe it or not, some airlines points programs are worth 5x what the entire market caps of the busineeses are.

Followers converting to book sales (or not) via Oren
This NY Times article dives into some of the W’s and L’s publishers have have racked up trying to sell books based on social following. It all boils down to alignment of the niche, the medium, and the content. Without all 3 lining up, L.

Tab Talk episode 12 is dominated by Twitter threads and parenting advice you didn’t ask for.
My Race Horse via James - Fractional race horse ownership is exactly what it sounds like. For as little as $36 you can get .01% of a race horse that has earned around $1,000 in it’s career.
https://myracehorse.com/
$250M Battery SPAC via Colin - another god damn paywall from Bloomberg, so the actual tab is the Twitter thread they did about it. The battery supply chain is the opposite of diverse, and this group is aiming to bring some battery manufacturing home. Interesting: battery cell manufacturing has hardly changed in years.
https://twitter.com/i/events/1467587887415758852
Landforce’s Writehouse Thread via James - James brings out a thread Colin did this last weekend on a little web app he built. Builders build, truly.
https://twitter.com/landforce/status/1467170550539710468?s=20
Sahil’s Thinkboi Parenthood Thread via Oren - Sahil caught a lot of flack for all his all this good stuff he wants to teach his future child about. Seems like a weird thing to get mad about, but it definitely sent Oren and Colin down a rabbit hole. S/o Cece and Kingston.
https://twitter.com/SahilBloom/status/1467136783083261965?s=20
The Brick Armory via Colin - Originally intro’d to the group chat by Oren, this is a knockoff lego brand that specializes in sets based on every military force you can imagine. From the Spartans to modern swat teams and all the vehicles and equipment in between. Sick.
