Kate Cohen serves as the Chief Development Officer for the Greater Valley YMCA Association, comprised of all six Y Branch locations in Lehigh and Northampton Counties.
Kate has served in this role since 2018, and is a third generation Y staff member, passionate about the organization’s core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
Kate earned her Masters in Public Administration and a Nonprofit Management Certificate from Villanova University in 2019, and is deeply committed to servant leadership roles that help address inequities throughout the Lehigh Valley.
In support of the Valley’s collective nonprofit work, Kate serves as a Board Member and Secretary for the Association of Fundraising Professionals’ Eastern Pennsylvania Chapter, as well as on the Technical Assistance Committee of the United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley’s Strategic Response Team.
In her free time, Kate enjoys crafting, flea marketing, traveling, as well as frequenting local shops, restaurants and events far too often. If you ever need a local food or retailer recommendation, Kate’s your contact!
