Fighting the Palestinian victim complex
Bassam Aramin, a founder of Combatants for Peace, served seven years in an Israeli jail for planning an attack against IDF soldiers. A few years ago his 10-year-old daughter was shot by an IDF soldier, which only strengthened his belief in a peaceful resolution.
Moshe Arens: 'There is no responsibility on the Israeli side'
Former Defense Minister Moshe Arens does not accept the premise that the Israeli government is playing a part in inciting Palestinian terror attacks in Jerusalem. He feels the government's response is on the right track.
The third intifada?
Arabs affairs analyst for Israeli Channel 2, Ehud Yaari, tells hosts Debra Kamin and Hillel Cohen that describing the riots in Jerusalem as a 'third intifada' is wrong. "An intifada is led from the top," Yaari says, while what we are seeing now are isolated events.

In Judaism You Can't Be Too Close To What's Holy
Micha Goodman, a professor of Jewish Philosophy from the Hebrew university portrays the different paradoxes that are inherent to the Temple Mount in Judaism. "If you support human rights you might say that Jews shouldn't pray there – while there are Rabbi's who go against the Halacha saying they should".
The Islamic Connection Goes Through Judaism and Christianity
Reuven Amitai an Israeli-American historian of Islam, explains how the temple mount became the third most sacred place in the Islamic tradition. "It's a mixture of things. It's not only the idea that Muhammad was there. It's also the great place that figures like Abraham and Jesus have in the Islamic tradition, and their relation to that holy place".
The Status Quo Is A Farce
Anshel Pfeffer, a writer and columnist for Haaretz tries to tackle the argument saying that Jews deserve the right to pray in the Temple Mount. "The status quo might be whatever side says it is, we shouldn't have the vanity to try to solve the entire problem, but to try and calm everything down".

He explains that there are Americans that this school of thought believes that Israel is a strategic and economic liability on America. Diker says the Conference includes other Left wing groups that have closer ties with Israel society.
