James Bond returned and StarFox has yet another remake, but VR really steals the show as I talk about one of the most enjoyable VR games I’ve played in years. Subnautica 2 also launches in Early Access.
Within a couple months since the last episode, I have played some big games. April saw the release of multiple great games like WindRose in Early Access, Mouse PI For Hire and Crimson Desert.
With a winter storm that knocked out power for a week, we hunkered down and played through the Fable series, along with a new rock climbing game called Cairn, that will almost certainly be in GOTY discussions.
Game Of The Year is upon us once again. 2025 held a massive amount of surprises. It’s the first year I felt overwhelmed with video games in a long time. I didn’t get to nearly as many as I wanted to. There is still lots to talk about!
Christmas is almost here, the year is almost over and I need to finish lots of games before Game Of The Year at the end of the month. I rundown a ton of games I’ve been playing lately.
Indie games are blowing up. MegaBonk and BallXPit are more enjoyable than AAA published titles, and Little Nightmares 3 missed what makes the series special. Alice shows up to make October is twistedly terrifying for Game Of The Month.
Life and my faith take precedence following my birthday, September 10th. Game Talk Starts at 38 mins in. Victory Heat Rally, Sonic Crossworlds, Mafia and MegaBonk.
Donkey Kong went Bananza and RoboCop’s Expansion brings the explosions. Also Multiplayer Madness blew up our community Minecraft server and now we are outlaws in the Old West with Red Dead Online.
Nintendo’s new Switch 2 and Mario Kart goes open world. Along with Tony Hawk’s Remake and RoboCop DLC
Claymation games and demons being slayed, I can’t stop playing VR and Star Wars has hooked me again.
With the Switch 2 being shown off and Metroid Prime 4 a reality this year, I need to get on with playing through the Metroid Prime series
The first couple of months of 2025 have been crazy, but I managed to defeat some behemoths, snipe some nazis and stalk some radiated monsters

E3 is here! Or technically Summer Games Fest, but it’s basically E3. I cover the main games that stood out to me and give my thoughts on the whole event. Even if it wasn’t amazing like a decade ago, it’s infinitely better than the last few years.
After a weird week that consisted of a Tornado blowing through our town, I did get to sit down for an hour and talk about some games I have been playing. I ended up coming back to the original Hades, thanks to the surprise Early Access of Hades II.
On a shorter episode this time, I talk about Tomb Raider 4, which I never played before, and some Fallout thanks to the new TV Show. Be prepared for some VR streams coming up too!

I’ve been deep in the tombs of the lost raiders over the past two weeks and I finally came up for some air. I talk about the new Tomb Raider remastered game and a forgotten arcade racing series!

The streaming train continues to roll on! As I played through and finished several games on stream this week, I talk about the Donkey Kong Country series, along with more of my thoughts on the latest Prince of Persia game.
Streaming took over my week, and with streaming, I beat two games, also started my first series playthough of the year too. Close To The Sun is a great Bioshock style game, and I’ll get in depth about the Donkey Kong Country series.
Welcome to 2024! After a fun stream of the Game Of The Year Podcast, I kick off 2024 by completing a “game”, but more of a Documentary. I’ve been hard at the detective work playing some of January’s Game Of The Month, Shadows Of Doubt.
Fashionably late to the party, but New Years Eve gives me a chance to sit down, live, streaming on Twitch and YouTube to go through my much anticipated Game Of The Year list for 2023.
I plowed through a few games since the last episode, Starfield became a pleasant surprise, and the death of Batman could have been so much more. I also really need to stop playing Mario games.
It's yet again, my birthday! I also finally got out of my gaming slump and finished up the Yakuza series I started years ago, and began playing Starfield. Hopefully I can get in some Red Dead Redemption 1 and 2 playthroughs as well.
Indie games and Re-released Ports of old console games. That doesn’t get me down too much, I have a few things to play during the Summer lull. Let’s see if I can’t learn to play the Guitar this time!
The summer drought has officially begun. Not much has been played in the ol’ Moore household this last month. I tried out the newest Need For Speed and a few others. Hopefully the Summer will pick up with the Steam Summer Sale.
The next Zelda game is out and while creating new memories with the wife, I spent some time really learning the ins and outs of Pinball. Who knew there was more to it than just hitting a silver ball around?!
In the midst of fighting Diablo for Game of the Month, I think I finally found my “Come Back To” Game in SnowRunner, and also dived deeper into Vampire Survivor.
I somehow managed to play through the entire Mario Kart series in the span of a week, along with trying my hand at the March Game Of The Month, Dead Cells. Even getting in a bit of Atomic Heart too!
To start off the year right, I rocked and or rolled my way through 7 Guitar Hero games in a row. Also played through the Plague Tale sequel. And I’m entranced by the surprise release of Hi-Fi Rush, what I imagine a modern Dreamcast game would be.
Christmas comes a bit late as I was sick and not able to record till the new year. This special nearly 3 hour long podcast goes through all the games I beat in 2022, plus my top 10 list.
With so many things happening in life, the only gaming I was able to get done was finishing up Stray, and getting roughly half way through the new God of War game. But even with that, it’s been some excellent gaming sessions.
With so much going on, Gaming helped me deal with some stuff. Grounded finally came out of Early Access, and I played the unbelievably creative Puppeteer on my PS5.
Returning to destroy some humans, robot minions, finally getting my hands on a PS5… All things covered in this birthday spectacular episode.
On a very special episode of Game Or Die… DLC and indie early access games took over my life for a couple weeks while I tried not to freak out about having some skin eating disease… Instead, it just turned out to be a lame Batman villain.

Massive news went down with Giant Bomb, so I wanted to give my two cents about the whole situation.
This episode goes over my time with a Voxel based game called TearDown, and my full thoughts on Cyberpunk 2077. Also a bit of what I thought about the last two James Bond movies.
Finishing Elden Ring is one of those accomplishments that I never thought I would achieve, but somehow I did it. Along with playing a nice relaxing game like Shredders, a snowboarding game that while messy, has a lot of heart. Plus a bit of SnowRunners.
Game Of The Month Club keeps on rolling with A Plague Tale: Innocence for February, and March’s being Elden Ring. I can’t believe I finally got into a Dark Souls game, but I did, and I’m finally enjoying it. While there are a few things to bug me, it’s nowhere near as bad as the other games from the developer.
As the new year of 2022 shows up, I spent time hanging out at home and playing lots of video games…. Mostly older ones. And I found a new appreciation for the Skate series thanks to our Discord Server picking it as the first Game Of The Month Club.
2021 was a wonderful year for me, and while I didn’t finish and complete as many games this year, I spent quality time with the ones I did. The first 30 minutes are recapping the games I finished this year, and the rest of this 2.5 hour long podcast is talking about my Top 10 games of the year, along with some memorable music from each.

For my birthday, all I want to do is talk about video games, so sit back, relax and enjoy my thoughts on some of the games I played recently.
For the last month, when I wasn't helping my wife with our new farm (We have ducks and chickens now), I was playing Yakuza... A lot of Yakuza. Finishing Yakuza Kiwami, Kiwami 2, Yakuza 3, Yakuza 4, and now onto Yakuza 5. This series has its claws into me deep, and I couldn't be happier. Why hasn't someone made this series into a movie franchise yet?!
I finally beat Yakuza 0, and immediately started on Yakuza Kiwami. I think I found my new gaming series obsession! Also I spent a bit of time soloing the new Pirates Expansion for Sea of Thieves.
It's E3 time again, and just like last year, it's kind of all over the place, so I explain what E3 means to me, my memories of the event and I cover a game that I judged too early, and missed out on a experience that was more than "just another zombie game" until it came to the PC a few weeks ago.
While the wife was away for a week, taking care of our new puppy Banjo was my primary responsibility, but I also got a lot of gaming time in as well, playing through Subnautica's sequel Below Zero in VR and got spent some time killing zombies in Days Gone and threw some balls in Puzzle Bobble VR.
I played way more Satisfactory, finally finished a game I tried to play back in 2005, and I go on quite a bit about the ending of GiantBomb.com, a website that used to be about Video Games.
Traveling a bunch this last month allowed me to get in a lot more comic and actual book reading, but I did play a few games as well. Some classic emulated games on VR and a new Gamepass game that I'd highly recommend.
I talk about a few games I've been playing like the PC version of Crash Bandicoot 4, and Panzer Dragoon Remake. As well as some movies and comic books. Some highlights include the movie Cyrano De Bergerac from 1950, and the new Wolverine comic called "Black, White & Blood". Reviews are on the website as well.
With the wife out of town for a week, I spent most of that time working building a new studio, but I did manage to get in some quality VR time and also got down and dirty learning the quirks of Valheim.
I finished both the leaked Goldeneye 007 Remaster and Hitman 3, plus played through a few other games like Little Nightmares 2 and both Monster Jam Steel Titan games!
Finally at home in good ol' Tennessee, and trying to get setup and back to work. While the 2,000 mile cross country trip went down, I was able to still get in a fair bit of gaming the last couple of weeks. Finishing of Scott Pilgrim, Hyrule Warriors, and playing a bit of Hitman 3 and starting a VR session of Subnautica: Below Zero.
I started the year off right, by playing through a few games. While still in the middle of moving, and nearing the end, I got through Bugsnax and ManEater and also finally finished Burnout Paradise, along with the Re-Release of Scott Pilgrim Vs The World: The Game!
With a little better setup than last time, and a temp mic, I was able to get some recording done to talk about my favorite games this year. With another bad year in gaming history, at least I was able to find some games that were totally worth playing and quite a few of them were rad. Here is my list of my top 10 games of the year for 2020.
With recording and gaming equipment in several different locations across the country, I have to resort to a crappy headset mic to record the podcast on, so I apologize for the quality in advance. I haven't played many games lately, but I did at least complete Miles Morales on my PS4 and played a bit of both WatchDogs Legion and Assassin's Creed Valhalla on Amazon's Luna streaming service and my normal gaming PC.
As a wise wallaby once said "Moving day can be a very stressful day". We are moving across the country, headed towards Tennessee and gaming takes a literal backseat for a bit in my life. In those small amounts of free time, I do get to play a bit and I finally completed some really enjoyable games... and some not so great.
As The Go-Go's said, Vacation was all that I ever wanted, so I finally took one. I didn't get much accomplished in the last month or so, but I was able to finish a second playthrough of Control, and experienced the DLC featuring everyone's favorite Stephen King stand-in, Alan Wake. Plus transported myself back to 1999 again to play through the Tony Hawk Remake game.
Work has kept gaming at an arm's length so I spent most of this month binge watching a few series of shows and a ton of documentaries. In a few weekends I was able to get into the Final Fantasy VII Remake and also the PC Port of Horizon: Zero Dawn.
E3 never came, and we are all left wondering what the heck is coming out, while as we speak there might be a press confrere or two that are happening... No one knows! I did manage to play a couple shorter games thanks to Gamepass and Epic Game Store.
Smaller gaming experiences are really the focal point of this episode, as I talk about a few games that can be completed in a single sitting. It's a long one, so sit back and enjoy!
Gamepass aided me in being able to blast through a few new games that might have been smaller in size, but made up for with interesting stories and gameplay that veered off a bit of what I normally play.
I did it, I finally finished The Prince of Persia Warrior Within, and also the follow up, The Two Thrones. Then I took a break from combat heavy games and settled down with some good ol Chad Muska and Rodney Mullens Pro Skater.
After what seems like forever, a couple of really fun games have come out. I talk about both Streets of Rage 4 and Moving Out. Plus I finally returned to the Prince of Persia series to finally try and finish Warrior Within after about 15 years.
Another musical podcast episode. Throw on a pair of headphones and trip the light fantastic with DJ Mix-Master Miles as he drops some beats that are sure to put you in the right mood.
So many games.... some older, some brand new. After Sean begged me to play, I finally got into Hollow Knight and loved it! Also, the big VR game, Half-Life: Alyx changes how we are going to interact with objects forever.
Elizabeth takes time out of her schedule counting bells to inform me of how the Animal Crossing series actually works and why it's just so darn addicting.
And now for something completely different... This episode is more of me just wanting to play some music for you to enjoy for a bit.
I got sick and wasted over a week playing a ton of games. I finally got around to the Ori games and had a blast! I'm also going through Black Mesa for the first real time and also went for A Short Hike.
Instead of playing Dave Mirra 3, I decided to play the Playstation remake of Road Rash and also dipped my toes into the Subnautica sequel Below Zero.

It's that time of year again! IT'S CHRISTMAS TIME!!!! Things are a bit busy, so I haven't been able to play as many games lately, but what I have been playing has been a joy. I'll talk about The Outer Worlds, Halo Reach and what I hope to get to play for my annual Christmas Eve Tradition.
As 2019 comes to a close, I find myself only playing several game, but luckily a new controller makes it an enjoyable experience.
Knott's Scary Farm, a Nicholas Cage acid trip movie, HBO's Deadwood, and Red Dead Online are the main talking points while I start preparing for the crisp fall weather.

20 years ago, I rode my bike, after my first day of high school to pick up what would become my favorite console of all time. So on a very special birthday to me episode I talk about why the Dreamcast is so beloved.
3 years after the release of No Man's Sky, the Beyond update comes with VR support... and I couldn't have had more of a turnaround on this game. Over 30 hours of exploring and base building made this a new favorite.
Fast running, crazy guns and killin' Nazis.... That's what Wolfenstein has always been about, and the Blazkowicz daughters take up the mantle for a decent romp through Paris.
Ultimate Alliance 3 shows us how tired we all are of superheroes and I shift my focus onto a couple VR games, one of which made me really think about finally starting game development on an idea I've had for a while.

To celebrate the independence of our country, instead of blowing up a small part of it, I decided to hole myself up and play through the X-Men Legends games to prepare for the Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3 game. Also to gush over Stranger Things new season as well.
The weeks following E3 are usually a slump of nothing really interesting to play. I talk about getting into an older game that flows into Nintendo's only offering that interests me right now. Also I talk about some movies I've been getting into as of late.
E3 is finally upon us and I am finally excited about the small amount of games being shown! Also I got really into Adam Savage's new book and finished up Castlevania: Lords of Shadow!
The Dracula bug has hit me hard. I go off on a month long quest, defeating the big bad vampire himself over and over again. Let me regale you with the tales of my travels.
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is a game I've started tons of times, but never really played it. So I finally set aside some time to really get into it and now I'm hooked on Dracula lore.
Dangerous Driving brought me back to my love of the Burnout series, so I went back and played some... Now I must talk about it.
I continue with the second part of my top 10 games of all time, with going through numbers 5-1... and playing some musical selections from those games as well.
