Have you ever wanted to be a podcast guest rather than just the host? Today, I had the privilege to talk with Christina Lenkowski about being a great podcast guest. We dive into not only taking a turn on the other side of the mic, but how to go above and beyond as a podcast guest.
Christina Lenkowski is a forward-thinking podcast publicist and educator for entrepreneurs, speakers and authors looking to expand their credibility and go from “best-kept secret” to “go-to expert” in their industries through being a guest on other people’s podcasts. In 2019, after 13 years working in the PR realm, Christina discovered what being a guest on podcasts did for her online-based business -- since then she’s dedicated her work to helping other business owners, particularly women, see the same kind of results. She’s been a guest on over 40 podcasts, including Her Empire Builder, Proffitt Podcast and The Heather Sager Show, and helped her private clients get booked on over 250 top-rated shows, including The Online Business Show with Tyler McCall, The Copywriter Club and Get Paid with Claire Pelletreau, among others. Christina lives in Boise, Idaho, USA, with her husband and daughter.

Creating content for your business can feel like a full time job. while content creation is one of the hottest marketing tools around (and probably isn't going away anytime soon), it's extremely time consuming.
To me, the benefits outweigh the workload, as it is the key to driving value to your existing and potential customers without actually having to market to them and advertise to them. Today I'm sharing three ways you can get out of a content creation rut, come up with new content ideas, and better manage the amount of content you're creating in your business.

Welcome to the trailer for the Clocking in Podcast, the podcast for entrepreneurs and professionals making their way in the working world.
I’m your host, Haylee Gaffin and I’m pumped to share that we’ll be launching this podcast on March 1st.
On this podcast, we’ll be talking to and about powerful women. Whether you’re an entrepreneur building your business, a professional working your way up the ladder, a friend supporting my podcast, or looking for another podcast to binge, you’ve found the right podcast and this space is for you.
Join me every Monday morning, where you can expect to hear stories and advice on life, entrepreneurship, career, business, and more.
I’ll even be sharing about my journey to opening Gaffin Creative and the pivots my brand has made along the way to finally breaking into the podcasting world. You can learn more about our services at Gaffincreative.com, plus you’ll also find resources, show notes, and more for the Clocking In Podcast.
Why launch a podcast? It’s the cool thing to do right? Just kidding. I recently went full-time in my business, Gaffin Creative, where we produce podcasts for creative entrepreneurs. Launching a podcast felt right. I wanted to share how valuable a podcast could be for your brand, by living it out in my own.
Not only that, but I also wanted to pour back into the community I’ve come to love over the last few years. Many of you are photographers, business professionals, and creative entrepreneurs, and I’d love to share simple things you can do in your business and life to make it a little better. And honestly, I’ll be doing the same along the way. I’ll be testing out new business softwares, finding a little more balance in my own life, and creating space for inspiration. Additionally, I have big plans to bring on amazing guests to share advice and stories on topics that are really important.
So, the Clocking In podcast was built.
But why the name Clocking In? I’ll be honest, it took me a little longer to launch this podcast because I could not settle on a podcast name. I’d built out a long list of titles, but I wanted to select one with a deeper meaning.
Enter Clocking In.
If you’re a fan of Dolly Parton, you’re in the right place. The inspiration from the Clocking In podcast came directly from her hit song, 9 to 5. No matter where we are in our career, we’re all clocking in at some point, but we might as well enjoy it while we’re doing it.
Make sure you hit that subscribe button, and join me on March 1st as I launch the Clocking In podcast just in time for women’s history month.
Until launch day, I’m your host, Haylee Gaffin, clocking out.
